people just expect so much from Marinette that they forget that sometimes Adrien has also made mistakes and isnt the perfect victim horribly abused by everyone in his life. However in the end the real big bad are the adults in the show who just did whatever the hell they wanted and now both Marinette and Adrien have to shoulder the burden. In this case, How can you blame either of them? They are literally just trying their best with a job they shouldnt have and to top it all they do not have any guidance whatsoever, especially Marinette who is pretty much the leader.

Let's make a list:

It was Emilie who used the broken peacock miraculous (yeah, I know, she had her reasons, and she wasn't aware of the risk).

It was Gabriel who started akumatizing people.

It was Nathalie who helped him (yes, I know she betrayed him in the end).

It was Félix who stole all the miraculous and gave them to Monarch (yes, I know, he had his reasons).

It was Chat Noir who cataclysmed Monarch (yes, I'm aware it wasn't done on purpose).

And for some stupid reason, it's Marinette who should be feeling guilty for all of this, although all of this is not by any means her fault. And, obviously, Adrien should leave her and never speak to her again once he finds out what others have done. He needs to let his anger out, and he'd better lash out at Marinette, whose only fault is that she got to know all these secrets and didn't know any better than trying to keep skeletons in the closet.

Years after Ladybug retired forcibly from her role of defender of Paris, her son has know to finally accomplish what she never did: defeat Chrysalis and retrive the butterfly miraculous. However, the young Mike already has enough stuggles with his mental health, his loneliness, and the fact he never met his father (who he doesn’t even know) or his mother (who died a few days after her birth).

Summin up what this AU is about:

It's a Miraculous Ladybug Next Gen project.

In this AU, Marinette didn't end up with neither Luka nor Adrien.

The reason why is cause the AU has a tragic feeling to it. It's supposed to be a sort of "bad ending" to miraculous. Marinette didn't end up with her main love interests, never defeated the main villain (Hawk Moth) and accomplished her main goal (retrieving the butterfly). And, the worst part, she died soon after giving birth to a son she adored.

However, she left instructions for Mike to be the next guardian/ladybug on a letter she wrote to him dor his 14th birthday.

If you think this is bit questionable, you are both wrong and right! There is an explanation as to why Marinette had faith on her 14-year-old son, but, it's still is questionable.

Marinette in this AU is a morally gray character to some extent. She is mostly a good character, but, she did some questionable mistakes along the way.

Think of this Marinette as Rose Quartz. A woman, who, in general, did good, but also did questionable things along the way.

At the start, Marinette is seen by the narrative and Mike as a flawless kind person, but, as time passes, Mike slowly discovers some mistakes his mother did along the way...

The original characters have some debuts, but only a few have active roles.

Adrien is a bit of a b*tch here in the AU. Not for Adrien Salt or anything, but, because I inspired myself on how Pearl reacted in SU to Rose's death, but made it a bit more angsty for plot reasons.

Expect some OCs by OP to appear as quick cameos, jokes, or just through salt in canon stuff. (like the science kids by @booksrbetterthanpeople and @nerdy-chocomallow , or Nate by @natedogx15 )

Sublime in the AU is Chloe and Luka's daughter. Since I think her role is a bit pointless in canon, I repurposed her here as Mike's best friend.

Mike's class is formed by characters of Danganronpa (I only watched gameplay of the first game... until now, so, avoid spoilers). Mostly cause it was being hard coming up with OCs for the class.

It's also a shared universe with Marvel for... reasons.

There are some minor changes on miraculous worldbuilt and events, but, mostly, the events of seasons 1-5 happened like usual.

The AU has a bit of Chloe Salt.

One thing I’ve come to realize is Marinette is very popular among Hispanics, and of course she is, that girl is living the life of the eldest daughter! Her struggle with maintaining all those responsibilities, the sacrifices she has to make at such a young age, hits hard!

This is of course not only limited to Hispanics, no doubt there are others out there who know the struggle of having to be the adult despite being so young. To be looked at as the golden child who can do anything, when in reality you’re just trying your best to keep it together.

The more I think abt it the more season 6 Adrien’s appearance makes sense to me. Like yeah he was just orphaned he’s gonna be depressed. His dad was in control of all his model stuff and therefore appearances, so of course now that he’s gone he might not take care of his appearance as much. He’s experiencing a new loss, but a new independence that comes along with it, he may not exactly know what to do with himself now. While everyone is moving along and changing, getting older, he’s a bit stunted, stuck in this limbo time in which he needs to actually figure out who exactly he is.

So yeah maybe I do like the Justin Bieber cut. It’s grown on me

Miraculous Ladybug Season 6 Airdates January and February (+some other junk)

THAT'S RIGHT WE ARE FINALLY BACK!!

These dates have been out for awhile now, so I'm sorry for how late this is! My motivation for this blog has been entirely tied to personal life/ interest in the show, and since it hasn't been airing consistently and I've been busy with school it's been rough. But... here we are!

Before I get to more yapping, here are the dates! All of these can be found on the Disney Channel US website (if you're looking for a source), but honestly I wouldn't be surprised if another international network beats Disney in premiering at least one of these episodes in the next month or so. So- it seems like this new era of miraculous is already off to a great start in the world of out of order airing with episodes 2-5 airing before episode one [EDIT: WE ARE NOW ALSO GETTING EPISODE 11 BEFORE EPISODE ONE ARE YOU KIDDING] , so I'm sorry to anyone who wants to watch it in order! However, hopefully nothing too crazy happens in the first episode that isn't recapped by the 2nd, so maybe you can watch these episodes as they come out anyway without too much confusion (doubt) [AGAIN, PROBABLY NO LONGER APPLIES W/ EPISODE 11 AIRING BEFORE OTHERS 💀] Either way, I'll try to let you guys know what the vibe is in that department (in the least spoilery way possible) , and at the end of the day its entirely up to you guys as viewers what you want to do! I'm sure we all have our routine with out of order airing by this point in time haha.

It's awesome to see ADHD in girls depicted in media because it's not quirky or cute or fun to constantly be forgetting things, or overthinking everything to a degree where it's life limiting, or having anxiety so profound that people wonder how you function every day. Or the constant drive to be perfect because you have to or the obsessive way with go about things like crushes. The need to know everything to an unhealthy degree and the creativity that all these things inspire sometimes. (That part is the fun part though).
