I would never say his to an artist’s face and this is not hate at all to any artists who do this but like every time I see fanart of a smoothed out anime boy version of canon time Stanford or Stanley that look at least 30 years younger I feel my soul ache in protest a little more

If Pacifica was being honest at the moment, she'd admit that she was in over her head. She'd just wanted to go for a walk, but of course nothing could be that easy. Now here she was, trying not to freak out as she heard the rattling sounds coming from behind her. Yet everytime she turned around, it'd stop. Which wouldn't have been a big deal if the entire forest wasn't deathly quiet. The whole atmosphere made her skin crawl.

'I knew I should have just ditched these creepy woods! Now I'm stuck in some weird paranormal situation.'

The thought ran clearly in her head, adding to her building unease. She continued to walk faster, trying not to alert whatever was behind her of what she was trying to do. With each step she heard it.

That God awful rattling hiss.

And as she walked, Pacifica realized in a horrifying clarity that it was sounding closer to her. At that point she didn't care if she let whatever was behind in on her attempt of leaving. All that mattered was getting distance between her and whatever was following her. So in an act of pure instinct and adrenaline Pacifica bolted, not daring to slow down. Twigs and leaves caught themselves in her long blonde hair and she felt her arms and cheek sting from little knicks and scratches. Running blindly Pacifica burst through the bushes and trees only to run right into something solid. Stumbling backwards Pacifica fell onto her bottom with a pained hiss and looked up to see.....

The Hide Behind and his cool sibling

Absolutely. They’d probably get along (by Philip’s standards of not killing it immediately) initially because they look similar, and the Hide Behind doesn’t talk much. Philip might be a bit creeped out after a while, but it helps to have an extra set of eyes.
