HIYAHIHIHIHI!! You may call me Alex, Zane, or Axe,, (He/Him!!)

My main interests are Gravity Falls, Lego Ninjago, The Stanley Parable, Centaurworld, Rick and Morty, MLPFIM, and my OCs!! (I'm in a LOT of other fandoms but these are the main ones ^^) I also like music, mainly Will Wood, Lemon Demon, Jack Stauber, Tally Hall, GRLwood basically the TikTok gay person starter pack (I listen to other stuff too but it'd be a full on list)

Fave characters are,, Bill Cipher (My wife and whole life's purpose<33), Zane Julien, Stabbleton (Centaurworld), Acksolotel/Axe (OC), Timekeeper (TSP), Morty Smith, etc, etc....

I'll mostly be posting Gravity Falls and Ninjago related stuffs (Bill Cipher and Zane Julien being my main obsessions teehe,,).

Apparently today is the day MLP: Friendship is Magic premiered 14 years ago

Now I never watched the show before I ended up sitting down with my little cousin and doing so, but it's wild to me the longevity of the show, it transcended eras

When MLP: FIM premiered its contemporaries were Star Wars The Clone Wars, Young Justice, Transformers Prime, Regular Show, Adventure Time, Ben 10 Ultimate Alien, Avengers Eearth's Mightiest Heroes, Scooby-Doo Mystery Incorporated, Phineas and Ferb, Batman the Brave and the Bold, etc

And when it ended, it's contemporaries were Amphibia, Gen: Lock, Harley Quinn, Infinity Train, Rick and Morty, Rise of the TMNT, She-Ra and the Princesses of Power, Star Wars Resistance, Transformers Cyberverse, Ducktales (2017), RWBY, Ninjago, The Amazing World of Gumball, Ben 10 (2016), etc

Not only that, but it also outlived a number of shows that released after it premiered, like Steven Universe, Ben 10 Omniverse, Voltron Legendary Defender, Gravity Falls, TMNT (2012), The Legend of Korra, Transformers Robots in Disguise (2015), Star Wars Rebels, etc some of which being successors/sequels to shows it was originally airing alongside (Star Wars The Clone Wars-Star Wars Rebels, Transformers Prime-Transformers RID2015, Ben 10 Ultimate Alien-Ben 10 Omniverse)

Top 10 favorite animated shows

OH SNAP!! Uh, this will not be in any particular order other than as I think of them!

1. Gravity Falls

One of the few shows that has ever made me cry while watching the finale, Gravity Falls was a summer road trip and a half from start to finish. It’s honestly one of those cartoons I’d suggest to ANYONE willing to watch it.

2. Rick and Morty

My friend Riza got me into this one, lol! Originally, I avoided watching it because Rick’s burping bothered me, but I gave it my three episode try and found I really liked it and it’s various references. It was funny while also being crass in a way that wasn’t offensive (for the most part) and honestly, I just want season 3. The trolling is painful.

3. Star vs The Forces of Evil

I only just started watching this one, so I don’t have a solid opinion of it, but it’s still a really cute and funny cartoon.

4. Steven Universe

What can I say about Steven Universe that hasn’t already been said? SU is funny, cute, intense af, and Storm in the Room left me in tears. Please watch this show.

5. Camp Camp

… OOOOOOOOOH THERE’SAPLACEIKNOWTHAT’STUCKEDAWAY- just kidding, but seriously, I fucking love this show and I’m so hype for season 2 in June! This is one of those shows that I quote ENDLESSLY with my friend Riza.

6. MLP: FiM

MLP has great art, pretty good voice acting and catchy af songs that you’ll find yourself unconsciously singing for DAYS after you’ve watched an episode.

7. Red vs Blue

It’s technically a cartoon… RvB is definitely one of those ‘The animation gets better, I swear. The humour is great though.’ shows, but it’s also an easy to sit down and binge watch show. There are only 14 seasons, but each season is about the length of a movie if you watch them back to back. You could EASILY watch and catch up to the most current episode in a two day span, not including sleep and bathroom and food breaks.

Not to mention it’s the longest running animated web series of all time, that started from 6-7 guys sitting in a living room with one literally phoning in his recordings via answering machine and is now a multi-million dollar company of 200+ people. Please, watch RvB. It’s fucking awesome.

8. Phineas and Ferb

Sadly, PnF is one of those series I actually never got to watch all of because I had limited access to the episodes via youtube and other streaming sites. It doesn’t change how much it shaped my art style and how it helped me see happy and good in a time that I really needed it.

9. RWBY

This show is an emotional rollercoaster of hurt, but god is it amazing. Please watch it. I know some people avoid it because of the animation in the first three seasons, but PLEASE, IT’S SO GOOD.

10. Osomatsu San

While I’m not as obsessed as I was before, I still really enjoy this show. I still have a drawing of Ichimatsu as my lock screen and Jyushimatsu as my background on my phone. (Both drawn by my friend Meghan). I still want to work on my ask blog, but life has been a thing lately. ANYWAY, the show is great. It’s funny, cute, obscene, and just generally a good show.

also, i would say a lot of fandoms aren’t terrible, but the BIG ones trigger ppls fight or flight if they see merch/shirts of it in public

like, doctor who or star wars im ok with; a good chunk of the population is into that stuff and i feel like i interact w mostly good star wars fans despite a lot of star wars fans on the internet being horrid ppl.  

homestuck is an inbetween because i feel like if you are wearing homestuck merch in 2019, you just own it from the past and don’t want to get rid of it because it’s comfy or something idk. 

steven universe, mlp: fim, and rick and morty trigger my fight or flight response. there are probably more, but i can’t think of any. if i see a guy wearing a rick n morty t shirt in public, i will avoid them. same w steven universe. or mlp. 

supernatural doesn’t register because i see ppl w spn pins and backpacks occasionally. idc. i think it’s also an inbetween. 

most cartoons are ok. if i see someone wearing shera merch or gravity falls merch or something, it’s ok. idk, i never interacted w any bad gravity falls fans, but i knew a lot of ppl who were into bad stuff regarding it (billdip, pinecest, etc.) but they have grown as ppl. i met weird fans, but they didn’t want to harm others or they were just very young so they didn’t know (i was 15-19 when the show ran)

idk, now i brush past fandoms. im ok w danny phantom stuff and like, she ra and hilda and a lot of random cartoon stuff, but there’s always the 10% and it’s more amplified in fandoms like rick and morty which have millions of fans rather than something like penn zero which probably has hundreds
