He brought on James O'Hanlon, who would go on to write "Calamity Jane" (1953), to punch up the script.*
* Strangely, the archives of Allan Grant, a photographer assigned to a story on "Destination Moon" for Time magazine, contain a set of photographs of an apparently filmed dance piece taking place on the film's set. What the performance was remains unknown.

Every single craft has been paying “The Passion Tax” for generations. This term (coined by author and organizational psychologist Adam Grant) — and backed by scientific research — simply states that the more someone is passionate about their work, the more acceptable it is to take advantage of them. In short, loving what we do makes us easy to exploit.

It has been over a year now that I’ve been submitting to various grants in hopes of securing funding for my multiple projects.
While this process is not a simple or easy one (is anything truly free?) I do feel fortunate that while I haven’t garnered any funding yet, I have used the various opportunities to further develop and fine tune my projects.
Similar to when I would audition regularly, I would look at it as an opportunity to perform, and a creative outlet, otherwise you feel like others are in control of your creativity and expression, not you! Like Janet says, it's all about control!
Fingers crossed on this one!! I’m really, REALLY itching to get to creating again!
