Why do I feel so connected with glow-in-the-dark skeletons? Is it because I'm a 90s child 🤔
You can support my work by becoming a patron 🎊

I'm probably missing some good ones but I ran out of space. Play Aconite.
Edit: added funger and that is the only change I'll make. I do not care about what your personal definition of an indie/horror game. This post includes psychological horror cause it's horror.

So with tiktok being banned and Instagram rapidly becoming less usable as Zuckerburg does *motions vaguely* that, I'm finding myself wanting to come back here and see if this is a good place to be able to talk about my books and hopefully find new readers.
Queer Indie authors of horror especially, I'd love to connect!

Crow Country (2024)
Crow Country is a 2024 indie survival horror game developed and published by SFB Games.
The year is 1990. It’s been two years since the mysterious disappearance of Edward Crow and the abrupt closure of his theme park, Crow Country. But your arrival has broken the silence, Mara Forest. If you want answers, you’ll have to venture deep into the darkness of Crow Country to find them…

Hello Tumblr!
This is just a short intro post, so I can get a handle on how things work here!
I'm Tom (nullpointer) and I'm a mostly solo indie game dev, I do art, writing, coding and even audio sometimes. I used to be an academic, a published musician and an artist. I've always been interested in Horror fiction/films/games, especially occult & lovecraft adjacent stuff.
I'm currently working on this game
Tumblr media
Its a narrative-heavy occult investigation game that involves a bunch of board-type mechanics and experimental ideas.
Ill try to post more about it. Working on the project has really helped me to improve both my art skills and my writing - particularly learning how to write better for games and limited interfaces (while maintaining a good atmosphere).
Ill finish this for now and drop a link to the game below. there's a demo to try out if you are interested, and Id love to hear any feedback folk might have!
