This tweet made me chuckle because i had never considered that THIS is what Armand was suggesting their wall should look like, which then led me to two thoughts:

1. Armand is into bright colours for decorations (at the very least, a lot of yellow), so i take it as even further confirmation that, as many assumed, the dark grey, muted, minimalist look was mostly Louis' doing, which makes sense as an external representation of his state of mind and his depression.

2. Ai Weiwei is a highly political artist, with many works about freedom of speech. This show is never subtle about the art they mention, and this case is nothing less: when you zoom in, the wallpaper consists of beautiful compositions of...surveillance cameras.

So many details for a piece of art they didn't even include. I love this show.

So out of curiosity, I looked up "Ai Weiwei wallpaper hockney lemons" because that's what Armand was suggesting they put on the wall and this was what came up:

People saying that Louis was the one who put the whole "I'm a bright young reporter with a point of view" thing into Daniel's head are so wrong because Louis is literally just repeating what Daniel told Armand while resisting him. I see this idea in fanfic a lot, like Louis brainwashed Daniel into being a reporter, when really Louis brainwashed him into not killing himself. Which was super sweet of him, by the way! 💗

New poll because my brother's partner said that Armand was their favorite character (they have read some of the books and watch the show) because he was so "honorable", and I was like, " ...that's not the first word that comes to mind to describe Armand". So:

I think that Daniel should get a little cat that he names something cute. like typo. and it should be the silliest dumbest creature in the world, and Armand should be so jealous of that cat that it still somehow makes him look stupid in comparison.
