One of the things I love about this show is how much detail the animators put into the backgrounds and side characters. It makes the world feel more alive. I also feel that the people working on this show really cared about what they where making.

BATMAN THE ANIMATED SERIES “ALMOST GOT 'IM” REDRAW!

Here’s a redraw of this shot from the Batman The Animated Series episode, “Almost Got 'Im” with my WordBat AU characters! I really wanted to remake this shot bc of all the villains in it and how cool it looks! I loved making this so much! ^^

here are some personalized speech bubbles from a wordgirl au comic i keep thinking about but never bother drawing. The fanfic's story heavily involves the mind exchange ray, so to make it clear who was in which body, I gave everybody their own speech bubbles to mimic the voice-switching on the actual show.

Some other speech bubbles i came up with but didnt bother drawing:

Amazing Rope Guy: a speech bubble wrapped in rope (for his voice impersonations, they would be the speech bubble of the person he's mimicking, but made of rope)

The Warden: his hat with a bite taken out of it

Squeaky: same cheesy look as Dr. Two-Brains, but with bites taken out of it, making it look spikier

Prof. Boxleitner: probably an erlenmeyer flask. Note: throughout the fanfic, the longer he spends away from Squeaky, the more his voice goes back to normal. To mirror that, his speech bubble starts out cheesy like Dr. Two-Brains, but the cheese slowly fades away, revealing the flask

Captain Huggyface: Lexicon's rings, maybe a little doodle of Lexicon on the border.

WordGirl: her star-and-shield insignia, probably
