#i continue to flex my tailor’s era #sewing rulers #french curve ruler #neckhole ruler #a classmate of mine have these really fancy rulers that works perfectly for bigger body proportions #compared to the ones we were able to find in the beginning of classes #those were licherally made out of cardboard (i already accidentally bent my hip curve in half *cry*#instead of buying some online..we traced the fancy ruler on thick sintraboard and cut/sanded those out #our instructor requested me to paint her rulers #specifally with some anime on it 😂😂😂#im just gonna print these gorlies on a vinyl sticker and stick em on the rulers hahahah #im struggling what to do with the thinner curved rulers #anyways this is my lil parting/graduation gift to her

Having a sister who is also ace rules. I've been debating for ages whether or not I wanted to get a mini flag for my room and she up and got a package of them as a bday gift from her roommate and her first thought was to give me one too

any homies out there have planner and/or calendar recommendations

#it's that time of year where i realize i want to start planning and organizing my life as usual and realize oh shit i've run out of pages #i used to use that hourly appointment style planner for college b/c it helped me to better visualize my free time for clubs/hobbies/work #outside of classes #but since i graduated i've tried something new the last couple years and i'm not sure what I want to stick with #I really liked adam jk's unsolicited advice planner but he stopped selling specific yearly ones #and i kinda have a pet peeve with undated planners. something about them annoys me #but i really like the stickers and prompts so maybe i'll try the undated one #i had the sarah scribbles planner this past year and i did love the little comics every week. but i also don't know that i'm super sold #i also just like having a overall monthly calendar to hang on the wall for high-level overview #anyway there's my thoughts in the tags! recs welcome <3

#ask #anon #you lovey to see it #and it's working. it's working #i kinda think about how crazy it is sometimes. the ways in which i kinda happened into really liking him #like i thought DBZ was really fucking cool. but it was my brothers who were the reason i got into it or even knew about it #between them having the original rubber clothing action figures. wall stickers. and some PS1 region-locked DBZ games #like i only really knew some barebones stuff regarding DBZ. just like some characters and maybe a few episodes at the time #then like one day i got DBZ Budokai 1 and i played the fuck out of that game.#and then going through Vegetas story. seeing Zarbon for the first time and thinking ''wow. guys can look and sound like that? that's cool''#then something about him transforming was really cool to me #then like i let my cousin borrow the game for his birthday. only for him to assume that i gave it to him for his birthday #which is only odd to me because like months to years later i would constantly ask him to give it back. in which i never got it back #so i kinda forgot about Zarbon for a really long time throughout my life #but even from that moment like i think that definitely stitched some closeted thoughts about other guys through my life #just like thoughts of ''oh id be fine dating guys'' to ''if i were gay id be fine dating that guy''#and then like sometime after graduating. it eventually clicked that im bisexual. around the time i started watching and reading jojo #then at some point i was trying to connect the dots with someone about characters that were an origin point for me #and the first thought was a point in Budokai involving Vegeta. and me going on youtube to rewatch footage of the game #only to have like. a portion of my memory re-emerge the moment i recognized and remembered Zarbon #like from that moment so much shit made sense to me. and because of that im just so fond of him #it's just wild to me that sequence of events.#anyway. thank you for the ask anon :) im glad that my weird obsession for him could change your perspective on him #or. i guess less glad and moreso like. that i find it incredibly fascinating

God, I will never not enjoy how surprised nearly all my younger students get when they find out how much I know about video games. Like... but you're my teacher... and you're nearly 30... and you're a woman... how can this be??? 🤯

#my favorite thing is when they start trying to convince me to play their favorite games and report back to them about what i thought of them #it's so cute #plus honestly they already normally get so shocked when they see my gaming laptop... then they find out i actually use it hahaha #i am proud of the fact that i've been told i type fast by 12 year olds... that is a real compliment... they type SO fast themselves #god... on another note one little girl once saw my laptop stickers and asked me what year i graduated from miskatonic university #and then i told her it's a fictional school and she said “oh so you didn't go to the college of winterhold either?” 😂#once one kid asked me if i have a husband and kids and when i said no to both of those she goes “oh i guess you're alone” 😂😂#and then i told her i live with my two best friends and we mostly play video games and board games and tabletop rpgs all day #and then she said she wants to do that too lol #i told her she should do whatever she thinks will make her happy ofc #it is just amusing when kids meet an adult who doesn't act the way they expect... but honestly they adapt to new info so fast #i mean ofc they do they are designed to learn basically everything is new to them #they are funny because they get so shocked and then instantly recover
