idk man i just don’t like non-poc people making twilight (usually) the only Black person in the mane 6 bc like. she’s the most ignorant one when it comes to friendship and caring for others. she literally has to learn how to treat her friends and others around her with respect and kindness every single episode. then she writes about it in her stupid little diary like she is a white girl do you understand. she’s one of those yt girls who is bisexual but surrounds herself with lesbians and doesn’t understand the social normals of being around queer people bc she kissed a girl in hs and hasn’t explored her sexuality since. not saying she’s a bad character, but i just don’t like the idea of the least-emotionally-informed character being Black. Black autistic people exist, i acknowledge that, and if ur headcanon for her is autism + Black then please don’t infantilize her, bc that’s a whole other discussion you guys aren’t ready for. if your reason for making her Black is for tokenism or forced diversity, rethink why you should/shouldn’t be making this character Black. and also reconsider the depth and impact and culture and nuance and subtext and history that comes with headcanoning a character as Black.

Paul's Thorn and God's Grace
7 Because of the extraordinary greatness of the revelations, for this reason, to keep me from exalting myself, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, a messenger of Satan to torment me—to keep me from exalting myself! 8 Concerning this I pleaded with the Lord three times that it might leave me. 9 And He has said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for power is perfected in weakness.” Most gladly, therefore, I will rather boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may dwell in me. — 2 Corinthians 12:7-9 | New American Standard Bible (NASB) New American Standard Bible®, Copyright © 1960, 1971, 1977, 1995, 2020 by The Lockman Foundation. Good Morning!☀
And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. 2 Corinthians 12:9
Just because your illness is lingering or your breakthrough seems far away doesn't mean that you have done something wrong, your faith is weak, or you are out of the will of God.
The apostle Paul sought God three times about a problem, asking God to remove it. It is believed it was a physical ailment. We know Paul to be a man of faith, that he yielded to the will of God in his life. Yet, in spite of this, God did not give him release from the problem he was experiencing.
Instead, God let Paul know he would give him the grace he needed to endure the affliction so that God's power could be seen all the more in his life. Paul's consistent testimony in spite of his trials caused others who were facing trials to turn to Christ and opened the door to greater opportunities to witness.
God is able to use our weakness to bring glory to his name and further his kingdom. It is not about who we are but rather who he is. His power is seen more clearly in our weakness!

i don’t know who needs to hear this, but you’re not healing if you’re running. you’re not healing if you’re avoiding. you’re not healing if you’re not confronting it. you’re not healing if you don’t trust that there is a future for you on the other side of it.

King Kingston: A Tribute to a Young Warrior
Over the past 13 years, I’ve had the honor of sharing the story of a young king named Kingston James Whitmore. Diagnosed with Trisomy 13 at birth, Kingston was given just five days to live. Defying all odds, he graced this earth for over 13 remarkable years, a testament to the power of faith and love. Kingston’s journey was nothing short of miraculous. He was a fighter from the start, surpassing…

I have been laugh and teased at. You are not the first person to do that neither the last. I look back and forward but still see grace sufficiently. Grateful LORD JESUS.

TMI: Would you ever buy a house?
I certainly hope one day I can! And have some land too!
Most preferred if I can get one from the 1700/1800s as well but we shall see where I am with money in the future lol

why is it so hard for ableists to accept that there is no support network for those that are not well liked, that resources are withheld or deemed nonexistent if they are considered unpleasant or rude or just unlikeable, and that fact legitimately results in peoples deaths
