Oh boy!

So, Izzy never really had any sort of sweet tooth coming up in the underdark. In a modern AU he'd have been more of a 'black coffee and cigarettes to get me through my midterms" kinda guy, and after joining Bregan D'aerthe his taste for indulgence leaned more toward sex and alcohol than sweet treats.

That said

There was one time, as he was visiting Blackstaff Academy and trading information with Samark Dhanzscul in his office over lunch, that he was offered a piece of ginger dipped in chocolate, served with sweet milk. He'd never had chocolate before, but he'd heard one of his fellow mercenaries go on and on about the magic of hot chocolate one time so. Fuck it. He gave it a try and oh my gods.

Life changing.

Now, every time he's popped up to the surface from then on he'd have a supply of those little candied ginger treats waiting for him. Even after the blackstaff changed hands, she kept up the trade.

I think if he discovers honey hard candies too they're gonna blow his mind.

Not necessarily candy, but he's finding he has a taste for berry tarts, too!

All that to say yes! He does like candy. Sort of. To a certain degree lol.

It’s well past time to reveal this one! It’s a messy little narrative but boy did I have fun with it. Isn’t it sweet? I hope people enjoy all the little details. Hello My Dearest Smoothie Anon!

I saw the picture!! He looked so very soft even though I was like sir why are you tucking your tee shirt into your sweat pants you look silly (said with love and care) Also how did Matty Healy of all people end up with IU sweatpants?! That just feels very random but also I kinda love it for him. I hope for both of our sakes he did get one of those ultra expensive smoothies and that he enjoyed every sip of it because he deserves to treat himself!!

Also I'm dying, I'm sure @betweenthings2 doesn't mind! They are ultra talented and I am so looking forward to sitting down and reading the new fic they posted a few days go! I haven't had a chance yet, (I'm weird and like to read fic in "ideal situations" ex. on my couch, on my iPad, with my favorite fluffy blanket and a diet coke rather than frantically on my phone while doing twenty other things at once lol) but I'm sure it's absolutely brilliant as all their work is!

I've been on a streak of eating a lot of dairy stuff I've cut out of my diet for my bf ever since we found that he no longer has a contact allergy to dairy for the first time in his life. It's been a year. I have been dreading this lack of dairy.

I got some garlic alfredo sauce and made myself a nice spinach chicken fettuccine. Got a pizza. And holy fuck, chocolate that isn't dark. (I like dark chocolate but where's the fun in bitter EveryTime.) Bacon egg and cheese breakfast foods. Hell, I've been sometimes picking up burger king on my way home after work.
