Concept: Dickbin who enjoys being thrown like a cat

Batman took him along to a JL meeting, and they're all standing around talking while Robin is doing cartwheels and climbing on shit over in the corner. Suddenly, Robin does a running leap and fucking barrels right at Batman like he's going to attack, and Batman, without missing a beat, catches him one-handed and throws him across the room.

The rest of the League watches in horror as this four-foot-nothing kid who maybe weighs eighty pounds flies through the air--and then does a series of flips and lands on his feet like a cat.

Robin grins wild and gap-toothed like he's having the time of his life (which he might be), and he runs at Batman again.

Ten minutes later, Superman, Wonder Woman, and the Flash are all chucking this manically giggling kid through the air while Green Lantern prepares to catch Robin with his ring if it actually looks like he's gonna hit something, and Batman sits off to the side, covertly stretching his arm.

Cas stitching up his trench coat in one of the motel chairs while Sam and Dean are asleep and quietly talking to Jack about how to him the coat feels as part of himself now as his blade is. That it reminds him that he wasn't always aware of just how deeply humans could feel. How deeply angels could feel. How putting care into something can make it meaningful. The stars were mere pricks of light before humans decided to name them. The more he cares for his coat, the more of his perspective and memory gets sewn into it. The more it becomes his.

"And the pockets," he confides with a deep wink, "Are good for keeping snacks in."

Later, when Dean is asleep again, drooling over an open book of research in the bunker, Jack watches as Cas tucks his coat over Dean's shoulders and sees how he hesitates for a moment before brushing his hand softly through Dean's hair. Dean is transformed, through Cas’s careful attention, from the man who was the gatekeeper of acceptance and goodness to just a man, vulnerable and in need of care.

Jack wonders whether Castiel cares for everyone like they are a precious object. And he wonders what Castiel would transform him into, if he had to be repaired. Jack isn't sure that he likes the idea. He already has a hard time understanding his own morality, how can he also be expected live up to the idea of himself in Castiel's head? The object that Castiel loves? Does he need to be changed in order to become his?

"I could get him my pillow?" Jack suggests, swallowing against the cold mass in his throat when Cas smiles gently at that. He does like it, then, when Jack acts against his own interest.

"That might wake him. We should let him rest."

"He's precious to you."

"He is." Castiel reaches out and puts a hand on Jack's sleeve, expression sincere, "And so are you."

"Right," Jack says, then, "thanks," and holds his smile until Cas wanders back to sit perpendicular to Dean, to watch him until just before he stirred. Castiel and Jack, both, were good at pretending not to feel what they felt.

Watching the angel watch the man, Jack feels like a star. Immense and powerful but also distant, removed. Not special until a real person decides that he is. He is between angel and human. Person and object. Precious and disregarded. He is the blade and the coat, and Jack doesn't know which is worse.

A couple of notes about why I chose January 9 as Ed's "birthday" even though he was not "born" in 1892

We don't have a precise date associated with the 1795 founding

January 9th is the earlier date (town > city)

Usually incorporation, like the 1904 date for Edmonton's incorporation as a city, is on a boring date like New Years Day. It's no fun to have to share a birthday with a stat holiday, or with everyone else, so January 9th it is!

The eldest of Creek and Floyd, and one of the most eerie characters of the next generation. Sly, cunning, with a mischievous streak, Rosebud is not a Troll you wanna get on the bad side of.

Rosebud works as a bounty hunter on behalf of Trollstopia, hunting down criminals who disturb the peace. Her work in keeping Trolls safe earned her the title of Lady, which she strives to maintain.

Rosebud is fiercely protective of her family, especially her father, Creek. Rosebud is aware of Creek's past, and hates it when Trolls refuse to see past it. Some harsher Trolls call her the "Traitor's Child", which she tries to pretend it doesn't bother her. It's why she pushes for justice and the protection of others so much.

Despite her eerie persona, Rosebud is kind once you get to know her. She enjoys singing with her father Floyd, spending quiet afternoons with Snowdrop, and sparring with Creek.

Music wise, Rosebud loves Folk music. She loves how it can sound cheerful one moment, and haunting the next. She uses her naturally spooky sounding voice to lure in targets.

Rosebud currently resides in Trollstopia alongside her family.

Fun Facts!

- Rosebud is the best fighter of her family (extended fam included). She's bested Branch in fights (to the infinite pride of her father)

- Rosebud became a bounty hunter because of the scar she got on her neck. A criminal ran loose in the streets of Trollstopia, hurting dozens and even killing one. Rosebud took up being a hunter to keep anything like that from happening again. Girl's got a strong sense of justice.

- Daddy's girl through and through. She hates how some people look at her father like he's nothing but dirt. She's gotten into one or two fights with other Trolls about it.

- Has a huge crush on Honeysuckle, daughter of Delta Dawn. Wants to make a move, but she knows Honeysuckle likes someone else (it's actually her, she doesn't know that tho)

- Her first word was cunt. Floyd is forever mad at Creek about that

And here's the first of my two Fleek babies, Rosebud! Okay, without a doubt, Rosebud is my favorite OC. I was gonna have to pick a favorite child at some point.

It goes without saying that any child of Creek is gonna face some scrutiny. I mean, when your dad throws his entire civilization away for his own life, that's gonna follow you forever. I'll definitely be diving more into her

Also Rosebud has definitely killed someone before. What? You cant be a bounty hunter and NOT kill at least one lunatic!
