At first he thought that it was simply a confusion and that he would get over it, I think it would be difficult for Kratos to accept that he's feeling something like that since Faye.

Maybe it would take him a couple of days to think about it and analyze his emotions better.

Little by little he begins to fill some pages of his diary talking about you, giving descriptions of the way you are, how you talk to him, even the way you walk. I think Kratos is someone who notices those kinds of details about someone.

It is a little bit difficult for him to admit his feelings towards you in his diary, but when he does he begins to explain to himself through his writing how he fell in love with you.

Kratos would like you to realize his feelings towards you for yourself, I feel like he would be just a bit embarrassed by the idea of confessing them, especially when he is just realizing that he has a crush.

Even tho I'm as old as the first LOTR movie I only just now became a fan and I saw that Thranduil has an injury on his face as well (but hidden) so that got me thinking...

Maybe reader and Thranduil are a couple (reader was treated badly for being a barbarian tiefling -> not by Thranduil <- but proved himself when he saved him) and he then made reader his personal guard, became friends and then lovers.

Thranduil is curious about reader hiding his face but never pushes him to uncover himself (Like why are you hidding yourself from me hmm? Why don't you kiss me? Your other facial features are gorgeous asf, for a tiefling barbarian who rips goblins in half with his bare hands you could even compete with some elves I know-).

One day Thranduil has some issues with his own injury which reader sees and comes to his aid, Thranduil is embarrassed and nearly breaks down, tears fill his eyes bc his love saw his hideous face and is afraid he will leave him (god I'm so bad at romance bro) but reader just chuckles, takes the cloth/mask from his face and shows Thranduil his own injury.

Now they both have scars! They know each other struggles! And they love each other like never before! Happy ending- No but really, angst with fluffy comfort for our two boys and mainly for the elf himself, he needs the love.

It has been almost a year since you and Thranduil had started dating, you were his personal guard and beloved boyfriend, he adored you so much. He never knew why you hid your face but he didn't pry, especially considering he hides his face in a way too.

Thranduil had always been impressed by you, a strong tiefling with a kind soul, much like a gentle giant. Sure you were rather... Gruesome in battle, using your bare hands to fight and always returning covered in blood and gore. It was truly terrifying but Thranduil loved it, especially after you had saved him from a spider attack.

Today, however, Thranduil was hiding away from his beloved barbarian, tucked away in his room with nothing but a small candle dimly lighting the room. He had overworked himself again, his head was aching and he had no energy left to maintain his disguise, the burnt skin and muscle visible, a sight he despised.

When you heard that Thranduil was taking the day off and locked himself in his room, you grew worried. He's never done that before, usually on his days off he spends them with you, taking a walk through the garden or getting some much needed sleep. So of course you immediately went to check on him, making your way to your shared bedroom.

"Thranduil? Are you alright? I heard the guards say you weren't feeling well and I-" you fell silent as you entered the bedroom, squinting as you adjusted to the dim light but you knew exactly what you saw. You never knew Thranduil had such a scar, it covered the left half of his face and his eye was completely white.

Thranduil had to turn his head completely to actually see you, quickly attempting to cover up the scar but alas, he couldn't manage to use his magic in such a state. He never wanted you to see this side or him, he wanted to keep this horrid scar hidden from you.

"(Name)... What... What are you doing here? Shouldn't you be on patrol?" He managed to get out, clearing his throat and doing his best to speak in his usual tone but his voice still sounded shaky. Perhaps if he didn't bring attention to the scar, you would just ignore it as well

"I just got back, my love..." You replied, slowly walking closer to Thranduil, head tilted slightly in curiosity as you examined the scar. When you reached the edge of the bed, you knelt down before him, resting your chin on his legs. "is that from the dragon you faced?"

Thranduil sighed softly, closing his eyes as he couldn't bare to look at you, afraid he'd see disgust in your eyes. "yes...I managed to survive but..." He vaguely gestured to the scar, shaking his head slightly. Thranduil finally opened his eyes again when he felt your strong hands holding his, the touch was so gentle and caring, he just had to see you.

The way you were looking at him surprised him, your eyes were full so of love and admiration, it made his heart swell.

"We kinda match" you hum in a soft whisper, reaching up to remove the mask you always wore and revealing your own scar. You weren't ashamed of it, you mostly hid it for everyone's comfort as the sight of your open cheek often made people uneasy and you hated the looks they'd give you.

it was now Thranduil's turn to stare in awe, one of his delicate hands reaching up to gently trace around the scar, his fingers soft and gentle as always. "hm I suppose we do, my love" he replied softly his hand trailing up to gently trace over your horns, following the pattern and ridges of them.

"forgive me for keeping this from you... I... I do not like people seeing me in such a state but I should've told you" Thranduil apologized, moving his hands back to gently cup your face, being careful to not disturb the scar

You couldn't help but chuckle a little, leaning into his touch while your tail wagged slightly. "there's no need to apologize, I kept a secret from you too"

Thranduil felt as if a huge weight was lifted from his shoulders, the stress slowly melting away as he held you in his hands. "Well now that we both have told the truth, how about we rest?" He whispered sweetly, leaning down to capture your lips in a tender kiss, one you eagerly returned.

Without breaking the kiss, you got off your knees, cradling the back of Thranduils neck with one of your hands. You kicked off your boots, accidentally sending one flying across the room but you didn't care. "a nap sounds good, yeah" you muttered against his lips as you carefully push him back onto the bed, climbing on top of him to continue the kiss.

Thranduil couldn't help but chuckle, pulling back from your lips just enough to talk. "My love, this is not napping ~" he didn't really mind as you continued to pamper him with kisses, his delicate hands reaching up to gently tangle themselves in your hair.

You see, the remake to one of your favorite games had just come out and you intended on spending the whole weekend playing the game from start to finish. Well, that was the plan, until you started staring at the protagonist with heart eyes. The way the devs modeled him was… oh boy. The things you would do to him.

You couldnt help it though, Leon Kennedy was a looker, there was a reason why you, among many other people, simped heavily for him.

At first you could chalk it up to the Emperor simply doing his job. When he adjusted your schedule around his hours and you happened to catch him more often in the halls, it was a nice coincidence. Even when he asked you to join him for lunch rather than going to the cafeteria with the other scouts, you could tell he was doing it so you two could spend more time together.

Then you began to feel something off when he started waiting for you after missions, wrapping an arm around your shoulder, leading you beside him. He even made a show of bringing you gifts during your shifts, which consisted of large bouquets of flowers to expensive decorations for your staff. It wasn't that the attention bothered you or anything, it was just that he wasn't usually so openly affectionate. He preferred to kiss you only when you two were alone, hold you in your shared bed, listening to your heartbeat against his ear as he fell asleep. Belos had always been a rather secluded person when it came to your relationship.

You had finally been able to put together what was going on with him when you were walking down the halls of the palace to meet with him in his throne room. He had called you personally which most likely meant he was in need of some company after a long day of meetings. On the way there you ran into one of the other coven scouts, a rather good friend of yours. Unintentionally, you struck up conversation and got distracted discussing some of the insane things that had occurred on your last mission. It was already too late before you realized you had been talking for ten minutes straight and the sound of someone clearing their throat had come from beside you two. The both of you turn to see Emperor Belos, arms hidden underneath his cloak as he looks down with the blank yet intimidating expression of his golden mask. The other scout jumped and whispered to you. “See you later, man.” Before they bowed in a panic and shuffled off quickly. Belos kept his eye on them as they left only to look back and to you as you stared back with a tilted head. “Couldn’t wait to see me?” You teased, knowing Belos didn’t tend to come check on delays himself. He folded his arms and you could hear him huff underneath his mask. “I certainly hope I wasn’t interrupting your important conversation.” Despite how frustrated he sounded, he still held out his hand for you to take.

You snickered and took his hand, walking along side him. “Can you honestly say that you called me for something detrimental and not just to cuddle on your throne?”

There was a long pause before he let out another grumble, embarrassed that you had seen through him. No one knew him better than you did which made it near impossible to hide things from you.

Not that he usually would.

“Perhaps you might enjoy that scout’s company. Seems like you two have been getting along rather well lately.” He muttered as he pushed open the door to the throne room and let go of your hand, only to place down his mask on a nearby desk.

You locked the door and stopped for a moment.

“Belos, are you jealous?” You asked as you placed your own mask on your hip, attaching it to your belt.

He turned back to you quickly, his face flushed as he found himself unable to look you in the eye. Belos immediately looked away from you, now rushing to his throne as he let out a stuttered response. “That’s p-preposterous!”

The second he sat down on his throne and saw the look on your face, he only grew more embarrassed. He turned from you, leaning his head on his hand and staring at one of the walls like a guilty dog. You melted at the sight and ran up to meet him at his throne. You stood above him and took his face in your hands, even then he tried to focus anywhere but your eyes. Who knew the Emperor of the Boiling Isles, the most powerful and feared wish could get jealous? You leaned in closer to his face, the second your foreheads touched was when he finally made eye contact with you.

“Belos.” You sang. “Were you getting jealous over little ol’ me?”

He pouted as his hands went to hold onto your hips, his fingers fidgeting with the sides of your uniform. “And how could I not?”

“Perhaps it would be best to be more official about this relationship. The world should know you’re mine.” Belos added.

Your eyes softened as you sat into his lap and wrapped your arms around his neck. “We can do that if you want, but you know you don’t have to worry about me.”

She snorted and took his hand with a smug smile. "Sure pretty boy, just don't be over dramatic." With that Leo hoisted her onto her feet before sliding a hand to her waist and pulling one of her hands to his shoulder.

The purple genius grabbed her hands and pulled her closer. "Scoff, I will, and once I do you both have to admit I'm the best dancer." She rolled her eyes as she glared at the brilliant annoyance. Leo gave a nod and two thumbs up as he fell backwards onto the beanbag, grabbing Dani's phone. "You kiddos have fun, I'm gonna DJ."

Before she could say anything, Donnie immediately took a few steps, leading her into a slow dance.

He wasn't wrong when he said he was better, he led Dani effortlessly as they stepped in time with the music. Donnie also threw in some spins, just to show off. Leo just watched, impressed they weren't trying to claw each other's eyes out. It wasn't the show he was hoping for, however it was the show he got. And he wasn't going to complain.

Dani intentionally would try and stomp on Donnie's feet, which he skillfully avoided each time. Either by expertly moving his feet or unceremoniously spinning her.

Suddenly the music changed and Donnie seemed to recognize it from the first few notes. A cocky smirk graces his face as he starts leading her through a dance. All the poor brown haired human could do was keep up with his speed as best as she could.

Twirls, spins and dips filled the next few moments as Dani attempted to match his movements. She was a dizzy mess, however Donnie was still full of that smug confidence as he dipped her again.

Dani heard the song start coming to a close and she prepared to pull away from the torture that was slow dancing with her enemy. What she didn't expect was for the infuriating purple perpetrator to grab her by the waist and lift her into the air as the final note played.

She immediately started kicking and demanding to be placed down. Apparently the two turtle brothers were in a cheeky mood as they locked eyes with the same mischievous grin.

Leo casually opened a portal below her as Donnie dropped Dani into it. She let out a squeak as she landed on the beanbag behind the blue banded terrapin. She glared at the two as they pointed and laughed.

The next hour consisted of the furious girl chasing the two turtle brothers around with Donnie's bo staff. Raph and Mikey just watched from the sidelines making bets about who would be clobbered first.

3.) What did durge think of the little wannabe tyrant at the beginning? Someone competent or someone who tries really quite hard?

Briar and Ferox had totally opposite reactions to him initially. Briar thought that he was someone with more intelligence than sense. Someone so caught up in planning and control and doesn’t seem to see how easy it is to gum up his gears with just a little bit of unpredictability. Thought he had a big head and delusions of grandeur (unlike her, whose delusions of grandeur were real, thank you very much.) She found this all very amusing and was excited to mess with him and put him in his place. As time went on, she came to respect his plans and just how thorough he was, in addition to being surprised with his ability to improvise when needed and how quickly he can change the plan.

Ferox on the other hand was initially quite impressed by the way Gortash seemed to have plans and contingencies for everything. A little annoying in how arrogant and proud of himself he was about it, but he had to admit that he *did* seem to live up to it. Ferox really started to soften to him when he noticed just how hard Gortash was trying to keep all of that up, running himself ragged with constant working and planning and tinkering. It added a layer of empathy on top of the respect he already held for him, plus even more admiration because it's one thing to just be competent and it's another to be a hard worker and insanely dedicated.

7.) Somehow we all hc that Durge and Gortash attended some kind of patriar function together. What was the thing they showed up to really and how did it go? How many deaths did he have to promise durge for them to agree?

For Briar, I imagine she invited herself as a power move without thinking through the repercussions. Gortash, responding in kind, was like “yeah okay, you can come. Let’s review all the politics and ranks and etiquette you’re going to need to know when you’re there >:3" and she was like “oh shit this is actually hell but I can’t back down now.” She haaaaaaaates the crowds and how slow and stuffy everything is, but makes her own fun by seeing just how much trouble she can cause, like trying to subtly undermine and embarrass Gortash in conversation and doing just a liiiiiitle murder? Just a busboy? Come ooooon Gortash let me murder just ooooone person. Also she probably got high beforehand and sneaks in her own booze. Regardless, she has a better time than she expected and they do it again. It’s like a fun challenge to try to play within such strict circumstances.

For Ferox I imagine the vibe was more like Gortash needed him there for something, like he had an assassination plan or maybe he just wanted to intimate people with his big scary boyfriend. Ferox was really apprehensive and uncomfortable because he has absolutely NO idea how to act in polite society. A high society party is about as far out of his element as you can possibly be. He would have spent the whole night stock still and stiff and glaring into the middle distance, which definitely would have helped the intimidation gambit Gortash was going for. Wouldn’t have taken any bribing to get him there, though. Gortash just needed to explain why him being there was necessary to the plan and Ferox would have gone along with it, however begrudgingly. Like doing a chore.

10.) Did the tyrant ever try to impress the serial killing godling and exactly how horrible did it end for him? What sorta things did he do solely for “the sake of cooperation” with glaring obvious ulterior motives?

Oh man, I think for both of my durges, Gortash was pretty much constantly trying to impress them, especially early in the partnership when he was peacocking what a good ally he would be. Showing them how much power he has and just how far he’s willing to go for more, how few lines he won’t cross. And, I mean, he literally promises them the world! But I also don’t think that’s unique to durge – I think Gortash is always trying to impress everyone. He NEEDS to build himself up as great.

Naturally, though, he would change precisely what he does to impress people based on that he thinks they’ll like. For example, I think Briar would have inspired some of the more sadistic things he does, like that one dismemberment experiment. Briar was more likely to press him on it, daring him to go further or challenging him herself. They often had a dynamic of trying to one up each other. For Ferox, he would have impressed him with scale, like blowing up a whole building and taking out half a city block.
