Poseidon: Stops Zeus from killing Percy by giving up his pride, begging and surrendering.

My hope for future seasons with Hades: Literally shielding Nico with his whole body and holding him(to mirror a flashback of him protecting Nico and Bianca). Begging Zeus not to take anything more from him.

I don't understand how there are so many fics for the sea fam but you can scarcely find one for Hades and Nico. Hades who would let nothing happen to his wife, dog, or mother in law/sister. Hades who was the most level-headed in the myths. Hades who offered his nephew and his mother sanctuary from his own father the Titan lord the moment the king of the underworld found out he was rising again.

Hades deserves to be a good dad, and not just seen as a villain all over again

While Will and Nico are similar to Apollo and Hyacinthus,can we all agree that Nico and Hazel are Orpheus and Eurydice? We don't know how Nico brought Hazel back to life,but he probably went the same route as them (not taking into account any privileges he may have as the son of the Lord of the Underworld). Only difference is that they are siblings and not lovers,and Nico is smart enough to not look back during their walk.

And if his son,already sad from the failed attempt of being able to have his bio sister back,want to spare his daughter from an eternity in the Asphodel Fields,who is Hades to interfere in that? He gets 2/3 of his children alive,that's a good number for him. And Nico gets a new sister.

So yes,Nico and Hazel are a re-telling,with a better ending,of Orpheus and Eurydice. Can't change my mind.

Man can go visit his kids in their DREAMS, Zeus got nothing on him, buddy would be visiting his kids probably to spite him, we all know that one myth

Last note, I feel like Phobetor, God of Nightmares and son of Hypnos, wouldn't give his siblings nightmares, and only them, gives everyone else nightmares too

Hypnos family is probably the only good functional loving family tell me I'm wrong

Zeus should have known the minute that both of his brothers claimed their vow breaking children within seconds of each other that it would be the end of any peace he has ever known, but that realization doesn’t come until both of them are standing in Olympus, one bowing to Poseidon first and one refusing to bow at all because Hades isn’t there.

The Netflix show Kaos just rewired my brain chemistry.

First of all, fuck Zeus. That fucker killed a kitten, a baby, and who-the-fuck-knows who else. I will never forgive him.

Secondly, Dionysus as an immature fratboy is everything that I never knew I needed.

Hera is awful and deserves every bit of shit that Zeus gives her, but we already knew that.

Persephone was ✨ SLAYING ✨ from start to finish, her and Hades have my whole heart.

Prometheus genuinely had me snorting here and there, I loved him.

Fuck all the way off, Poseidon.

The fact that the entire rest of the pantheon fails to appear at all purely because they make a hobby out of avoiding Zeus at any cost might be the funniest fucking thing ever to come out of an interpretation of Greek mythology.

Riddy (Eurydice) and Orpheus are both such great characters, alone and as a complicated relationship thing. They're super well rounded and developed, both mean well, but they're so humanly written. They don't know what to do with each other, neither wants to hurt the other, but their decisions are flawed and their love has turned into such a messy situationship. It's beautiful when they finally communicate and accept the circumstances for what they are.

Or Percy finally reckons with the consequences of challenging Akhlys with a little help from his immortal family, who he might be around for a lot longer than he thought.

I love the idea of a pjo and Hades cross over but the ones where it's implied that the events are occurring like. Simultaneously. Will never not be funny to me because of how different the gods look in each universe. Do they play eenie meenie miny mo to decide what form to take on a given day?

If I not wrong, in the myth of the birth of Dyonisus there is different versions of who adopted him. And in one of this versions, Hades was his adopted father, which is simply hilarious to me.

Imagine something like this:

I know everyone was mad at Rick changing the quest to failing the deadline but come on. Getting Posideon to jump in and forfeit a war because he cares about his kid? It lends so much to why Percy would stay loyal to his dad! His dad just saved his ass aND chose to lose a war for him. Posideon chose to give up his GLORY for HIS SON!! Exactly what Percy would do!!

PLUS the whole "do you dream of mom?" Like!! They both care about Sally so much!! And while Percy has mixed feelings on the whole god thing, his dad has been nothing but kind! Sure he was absent, but in the 2 scenes we've seen, he's far and away the best parent of all the gods we've seen.
