For Them

About to go to bed and this plot idea came into my head so I'm gonna be quick.

Danny and Dani (or Ellie) are on the run from well... everything. (Bad Fenton parents? Vlad? GIW? IDK pick)

They almost escape into the zone when Ellie gets hit by something that starts destabilizing her. They escape but toss themselves into a random portal that opened up and crash land in a dark gloomy city alleyway. For a moment they think it's okay, they're safe for now but they gotta keep moving. So they do, they run and run into the city until they find a place to finally rest.

It isn't until then they realize what's happening to Ellie. Her body is destabilizing now that the adrenaline she had was going down. She starts panicking and freaking out cause she knows they don't have any ecto-dejecto.

Danny, freaking out and desperate to save her freezes her body with ghost ice to make her stop melting (basically it doesn't hurt her despite not having an ice core but instead kinda puts her in a status)

And it works.

But it sends Ellie into a deep sleep as well.

Danny, stressed and on the verge of passing out from using his ice core (and willing some of his protectior spirit into as well to keep Ellie safe in the ice), looks up when he hears footsteps coming towards him.

He passes out when he realizes the place they had hidden in, a warehouse, had already been pretty cold even before Danny had used his ice powers.

When he wakes up, he realizes hes been moved from the warehouse and freaks out and tries to find Ellie. When he opens his door from the room he was in, hes greeted by cold (but Danny isn't bothered by it) and a man, a Dr. Victor Fries, who just so happened to had been at that warehouse that night looking into stealing some valuable equipment being imported but instead had watched a young, badly hurt teen desperately try to save and have to freeze his 'sister' as she was melting in front of him.

I love how over time kid xelqua has become less just baby grian and more grian's kid who he found in the woods/somehow created and now the kid represents all of grian's childhood trauma and Catholic guilt and grian is just trying to break the cycle bc there's this magic fucking baby who is the best thing in the world

JKAGJKD yes Exactly, see evo Grian has a lot of family issues, from being an orphan, to the Watchers, he has ISSUES, so raising a version of himself is..... definitely odd, but weirdly healing.. He sees how he was as a kid, he wasn't that bad, he was just a kid ! He didn't deserve to be abandoned or anything. He sees all of his ache in Xelqua, he's very much breaking the cycle.

ford eats like a bird most of the time, even on the stan o war, but when they make a stop at the boardwalk from their childhood ford goes CRAZY over all the sweets. he literally tries everything and stops stan every couple of minutes to get something new and even though stan knows he's gonna have a helluva stomachache later he can't bring himself to tell ford he shouldn't

also stan would 100% know the tricks behind the rigged carnival games and between that and ford's scarily quick reflexes they can basically win any prize they want

two months ago I got three guppies for a small, cheap aquarium.

currently have over 20 of these damned fish and a second aquarium (not cheap) to house the stupid fries that were born not understanding that THERE'S NOT ENOUGH ROOM in the other one.

I'm gonna grill the next ones, I swear (will panic and probably get a third aquarium if the current no males with females separation SOMEHOW doesn't work)

"it is so worth it, sticking out" are words i personally really needed to hear as of recently.

i felt that stream so deep in my bones. to keep it brief, the last three years i've been having Bad Thoughts pop up at various points to varying degrees, and this year i got it the worse it's ever been. i've finally come to the end of my three year uni course, and it's left me feeling this sick and awful dread that once it ends, so does my life. from january to march i was unable to work, just played nitw and felt like a husk, or crying. then i tried to pull myself out of it, and by early april i'd already fallen back in. its such an all consuming thing, and the Bad Thoughts have been daily. i've only just started poking my head back up mid may because i became obsessed with resident evil (lol) which has aided in distracting my mind.

what i'm trying to say is, what was discussed and said in today's stream resonated with me very deeply. and it's awful to see another person in a similar harrowing position. i don't know how to get better yet, but i'm going to try. and i hope you all are able to get better too. you deserve to!

and aimsey if you happen to read this, thank you for being here. thank you for staying. the world needs you in it.

-Held back in high school and college a few times, still trying to finish his biochemistry degree -Apprenticing at a blacksmith for extra credit to complete his degree and some pocket cash (he tried retail work one time, got fired real quick after making a threat to someone for being rude) -Left boot keeps getting stolen by the workshop pet, he's given up on getting it back and has just come to live with it -Always wearing the oven mitt, says it's cause he has a better grip with it, truth is he's a dumbass and had grabbed a metal rod, that had been in the furnace for two hours moments before, without it and got a particularly bad burn, he's equally embarrassed about the scar itself and how it happened so he just stopped taking it off unless he's at home

-Performer (undercover security) at the local club -Good friends with the owner of the club (it's Jelly Donut), often times has full access to the club even if it's closed that day (Jelly gave her a key and said "go wild") i don't actually have that many thoughts for grape ade (or i do i'm not sure the brain is numb rn) soo- yeah that's all until further notice

-Workaholic college professor/high school teacher and known researcher -Only working as a college professor/high school teacher because he needs money for his research (and having people to bounce his theories off is actually quite helpful) -Not a morning person, period -Five seconds from collapsing at any given moment -Glasses break frequently (it's not that they're badly made or anything, they just aren't meant to take punches to the face to protect students from whatever hellfire they get into), he has like fifty pairs on standby in his desk -Hair clips are an old gift from someone, he started wearing them because his hair was hard to put up comfortably
