okay but the killua and palm parallels are so interesting & keep going the more you think about them.

here are some i could think of off the top of my head (think of palm as an exaggerated version of killua & how he thinks/feels abt gon).

palm and killua both:

- care & think abt him to the point where it can be or seem obsessive at times

- constantly want all of gon’s time and feel threatened when someone poses as a possible threat to their relationship

- can have moments of being possessive and petty over him due to their jealousy

- feel mesmerized by & drawn to gon’s determination, kindness, & positivity (light)

- worry abt how gon thinks of them and/or how they appear to him

- are prone to get defensive and yell at gon when confused, and then quickly calming down when he’s able to (usually easily) quell them enough

- are practically smitten by gon (whether u see killua’s feelings as platonic and/or romantic, it’s clear gon literally had him wrapped around his finger) & gon knows this, hence why he’s able to get away w so much; they’re both willing to sweep a lot under the rug and basically forgive him or not even be (very) upset in the 1st place which basically gives gon the “okay” in a sense, even if/when he does feel guilty

- become better versions of themselves throughout the chimera ant arc, including developing a better & more genuine sense of self worth

Like The Cedars

At the southern tip of Jappon is the tropical island of Yakushima, where the fabled Jomon Suji, a 7000 year old Cedar tree resides.

3 years had passed since Killua and Gon had separated.

After touring the world, the Zoldyck siblings arrive on the island to start a few months of relaxation. During this time of relaxation, Alluka has made it clear: they must decide where they will settle down. All Killua wants to do is stop thinking about Gon and not think about settling down. He made a huge effort to stay out of contact with Gon during these 2 years, but those stupid feelings of his never went away.

Across the world, Gon has become a poisonous animal/plant hunter and an online blogger. After receiving anonymous tips about a potentially dangerous animal, he also makes his way to Yakushima Island, where the animal was suspected to be. He also had tried very hard to stay out of contact with Killua, trying his best to ignore his feelings in order to pursue his new career and regain his nen.

With the three of them on the same island at the same time, they are bound to run into each other and feelings are bound to come out of hiding.

HxH x Monster High AU

What if HxH was set in a highschool AU? But not just any highschool… Set in Monster High! I grew up with this show as one of my childhood favourites and it’s gives me immense nostalgia (I still listen to the theme song because it’s still so catchy).

Who would be who in this AU? Or rather which monsters would the Hunter x Hunter characters take on?

Killua would for sure be a Vampire but what about Gon? Maybe a werewolf? Because he can act like such a cute innocent puppy but can be intimidating and frightfully strong and aggressive when necessary *cough* Chimera Ant Arc *cough*

Comment down who you’d think the characters would be?

Leorio, Kurapika, Gon, Alluka, Nanika (Should she be in it as a separate person or with Alluka?), Retz (maybe), Zoldyck Family, Bisky, Wing, Zushi, Hisoka.

I don’t know about Phantom Troupe but if anyone have any ideas then go ahead and share them in the comments!

Who knows? If I like what I write and actually come up with a decent plot I may finish the story in time to post for next halloween!

Applications are open May 1 through June 23. To win, start out by choosing a prompt from one of the three categories (Hurt/Comfort, Smut, and Comedy). Next, submit an application (linked below) detailing which prompt you are choosing and acknowledge the rules. Finally, get to writing and submit your story by June 23.

RULES:

1500 word Minimum for each entry

Gon & Killua must be AGED UP in all Smut entries

Genre categories may cross, but all competitors writing smut must be 18+, and the specified genre on the form must be the main theme of the work

Ex.: You may include smut in your Hurt/Comfort entry, but it should be primarily focused on the Hurt/Comfort aspect, and you must be 18+

Ex.: You may include Hurt/Comfort in your Comedy, but the entry must be primarily funny

If entering under more than one category, you must submit more than one form application–one for each genre you plan to enter

In order to submit a fic for consideration, you must first submit an application

Applicants under 18 years of age must keep their fics rated T and below; fics rated M and above written by minors will be rejected

What if I’m not very good? First of all, we are often our harshest critics. We will be awarding bonus points to those who have never shared fanfic as well as those who have taken over a year break from posting fanfic. Our hope is to receive entries from writers of all skill and experience level! This contest isn’t meant to make you feel insecure, it’s meant to encourage creative Killugon writing.
