Theme 4 Symbol

I chose the Numero symbol using the Goldenbook font. I felt the negative space beneath the superscripted ‘O’ lent a direction to the eye. I then added another faded Numero matching the stroke of the ‘N’, while the ‘O’ was cut on the border to create some neat framing.

The block of text was framed by the edges ‘N’ and the background ‘O’ and located into the negative space for emphasis.

The bottom line demonstrates the Numero Symbol in use, following a series of numbers.

Hello, everyone. I’ve decided, with the end of Supernatural upon us, that I’d share with you something I had drawn to give to the cast of Supernatural. My mission was simple: draw a parody of Little Golden Books within the 2-3 weeks I had until the convention started, and make it as child-friendly as I possibly could...! And to feature as MANY characters as I could, too! I gave the book to Misha, Jensen, and Jared at a convention some time ago, but it felt wrong not sharing it after all this time. What better time than now?

Please keep in mind, the book was written many seasons ago, so later seasons and characters in those seasons are unfortunately not in this book. :(
