am i the only one who didn’t like mackie being all up on seb for the golden globes? like this was seb’s big moment and mackie literally won’t let him go. it was kind of obnoxious

I think that Mackie was just super hyped for Sebastian, who is his good friend, and wanted to show his enthusiasm. Mackie is just an extremely extroverted guy in settings like this one, he's a joker and someone who likes to make people laugh and hype them up. I honestly think that's all there was to it, and I really can't fault him for any of that.

I feel like there is a chance he woke up the next morning and saw all the stories about him crashing the interviews and was like "hm maaaybe I should've toned it down a little", but then again, Sebastian has known Mackie for a long time and he knows how he rolls, and he was clearly just amused by Mackie's antics. There wasn't a hint of annoyance from him, so if Seb's happy, I'm happy. Moreover, he only crashed a couple of interviews, and Seb did a ton more by himself! So I'm sure it was all good, Mackie was just excited for Seb and wanted to share his joy and let Seb know he was proud of him, and I think that's cute!

#I do think the way lots of news outlets jumped on it was a bit much #I'd have preferred the focus to be more on sebastian’s win too #but there was still plenty of attention for that too #and I'm sure mackie didn't wasn't out to steal seb's thunder or anything like that #sebastian stan #anthony mackie #golden globes #minnie answers

On the cover, Harrison Ford as Indiana Jones in Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of Crystal Skull.
