first, im always and forever honored to work with dnp! im sure they know how much i love them already so i'll shut up about that rn! they wanted something cozy, so i thought a scenario where dnp chill and talk after wrapping gifts is perfect!

i collected screenshots from old Christmas vlogs for reference~

cookies on the table referenced from 2011 "how to make christmas cookies" mainly the D and P and the snow man and the whale ^^ the gingerbread dudes are dnp, duh!

these are cookie-shaped coasters i have irl. it was at my table when i was drawing it so i said why not~

said this before but deep down there is a small but deeply convicted and unsettled part of me so genuinely convinced that like 30 years from now some talented nyu grad prettyboy actor is going to be launching a for your consideration campaign after playing brendon urie in the social network style panic at the disco pseudo biopic produced by someone who was chronically online in 2014 but made it big in the entertainment industry somehow (nepotism probably) and all the buzz will be entirely centered around the film’s frame by frame recreation of northern downpour live at bush hall. people on a niche but very dedicated side of twitter will be posting side-by-sides of the 2011 recording and the clip from the film like they did with the bohemian rhapsody live aid performance. it will be nominated for 3 oscars and 4 golden globes and will win none of them. ryden discourse will be back but worse somehow. hell will be empty and all the devils will be here

What a fun find! Let's talk about Game of Throne's Tyrion Lannister!

Image Description: the first photo is of a Game of Thrones Tyrion Lannister figure I found at my local music store. It is in it's packaging, and of the little character dressed in a long red jacket with gold accents, a brown belt at he hips, and boots. I am holding it up to the camera, and in the background there is the music store and my feet on my wheelchair footrest. The second photo is of Tyrion Lannister, played by actor Peter Dinklage who has Achondroplasia dwarfism (like myself). He is white, with brown curly hair, a beard, thick eyebrows and blue eyes. In this photo he is in character with costume attire that is grey with black stripes and a silver pin.

I may have mentioned him in passing, but I've yet to dedicate a post to Peter Dinklage's character Tyrion Lannister in HBO's Game of Thrones (2011-2019). This character has defiantly brought the most attention to the LP community in my lifetime, and won Dinklage multiple Emmy's, a Golden Globe, and an Actor's Guild Award!

Despite not watching the show for it's brutal violence, I've consumed every part with Peter Dinklage and established Tyrion to be an excellent character and great representation for dwarfism. I especially love to see a little person in the fantasy genre that isn't a part of the made up species of "dwarves" such as in Lord of the Rings. He is a human being, strong willed, and beloved by the audience.

Jim Broadbent

A graduate of the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art in 1972, he came to prominence as a character actor for his many roles in film and television. He's received various accolades including an Academy Award, two BAFTA Awards, and two Golden Globe Awards as well as nominations for two Primetime Emmy Awards and a Grammy Award. Notable film roles include Bullets Over Broadway (1994), Topsy-Turvy (1999), Bridget Jones's Diary (2001), Gangs of New York (2002), Another Year (2010), The Iron Lady (2011), Le Week-End (2013), and Brooklyn (2015).

Broadbent is kinda cute in glass, in a nerdy old dad kinda way, in something, but didn't blow me away. Later I saw him in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince and thought Wow! And he has managed to become more and more adorable with each passing year.

Broadbent is married to costume designer-turned-artist and he is stepfather to her two grown-up sons. He is an atheist and is fond of wood carving. That last part is good to know as I've got a piece of wood I'd gladly let him handle. Hint. Hint. Its my penis.
