actually while we're at it fuck it exy racquet edit. a racquet to neil's stomach, his racquet clattering across the court, the racquet in his hands as he takes to the court for the first time, andrew twirling his racquet, somebody holding someone back with their racquet. neil looking at the racquets in exites, andrew taking the racquet out of the car, pretending to go for the cars at nicky's parents house. it being left in the hallway.

a long beat. a wide shot. nicky's family praying. andrew's eyes wide open, his smile at neil, neil looks up at andrew in the kitchen.

long, slow cuts of neil entering the house. him picking up the racquet, going up the stairs, the only room with the door closed. the racquet going into aaron's hands. quick cuts of neil kicking the door down, him and aaron falling inside.

aaron swings. the racquet covered in blood. andrews wicked smile.

"it wouldn't bother you that it was used as a murder weapon?"

andrew's hand under neil's shirt. neil grabbing andrew's wrist, quick cut back to neil with betsy.

"it didn't kill anyone important."

neil looking at the racquets in exites again, longer this time, different. his hands shaking holding a racquet in evermore. his bandaged hands struggling to hold one, back in the foxhole court. his racquet dropped at the riots, andrew finding it. the final game. a ball being caught, a ball being thrown, kevin switching his playing hand.

riko's racquet coming back over his head. neil dropping his. andrew's hands tightening around his as he starts to run. riko starts to swing, neil tries to duck, andrew is running, his feet on the court, gloved hands around the stick. riko's racquet comes down, andrew's comes down, the crack of bone. a scream. andrew holds his racquet in front of neil to shield him.

i dont even think it was that marcille was unfazed by falins chimera form I think she was fucking terrified. she was bluescreening. she's just so horrified and helpless faced with what falins been turned into that she can't see the blood for the person who spilled it and she cant see sense all she can think is that that's falin and she's right there. she's right there. that's her falin.
