Gerd.
Jötunn goddess of fertility.
Daughter of Gymer and Aurboda.
Wife of Yngve-Frey and Mother of Fjölner and founding mother of the first Swedish royal line.
I always imagen her with diffent hues of brown in her hair, like the layers of the soil.
Also wearing a lot of gold, because after a lot of nagging to marry Frey, she might as well get the best out of from the wealthiest family line amung the gods. Also she tells skrinir she is allready from a wealthy family and holds just as much wealth as her father does so.
And, when I think about Gerd I also often picture a very strong and confident woman, not in the Freya way with power over love and death and magic, but more like; "yeah, Im fine af, and thrive like the plants in my soil and I know it".
Like just, confidence!
And as a fertility goddess, for me its less of a loving mother, and more of a intense pulse of life within nature that refuse to die. Very much like Frey.

Aphrodite: The Greek Goddess of Love had a Fascinating Origin Story
In Greek mythology, it is believed that the goddess Aphrodite, known as the goddess of love, beauty, and fertility, had a unique and fascinating origin story. According to one popular myth, Aphrodite's birth was linked to the castration of the sky god Uranus by his son Cronus.
Legend has it that Cronus, encouraged by his mother Gaia, used a sickle to castrate Uranus and severed his genitals. As Uranus's blood fell into the sea, it mixed with the foamy waves, creating a great froth. From within this sea foam, Aphrodite was said to have been born and emerged in her full-grown and radiant form.
The imagery of Aphrodite's birth from sea foam is a powerful symbol of her association with the sea and its elements. It represents her connection to beauty, femininity, and the allure that captivates others. The myth captures the essence of her divine nature as a captivating and irresistible goddess of love and desire.
This mythological tale of Aphrodite's birth from sea foam has inspired countless works of art and literature throughout history, cementing her status as one of the most iconic and widely recognized Greek goddesses.

The Egyptians had a pantheon of animal gods and goddesses which their jobs consisted mostly in taking the souls of the dead into the afterlife, where they were judge according to their deeds.Bastet in particular was the goddess of pleasures of the flesh, the bringer of good health and protection. The original design she had a lioness head that later was changed to a house cat.She was indeed the patron goddess of cats ,war, also it is believed that Bastet was the mother of Anubis the jackal deity in charge of the embalming of bodies and of accompanying the dead into the afterlife. At the risk of sounding like a dictionary, I’m going to stop here. There’s so much information about Bastet you can dig if you are interested. It is puzzling to me how we humans as a race went from giving animals sacred attributes and place them above us to believe in one omnipotent god that rules above all.It is very strange indeed. Well, we are all entitled to our own opinion, in my case the more I research, the weirder and mysterious our evolution is ,filled with myths and dualities that often end in a vacuum,an abyss of which there’s no reasonable explanation. The more I read the more I found our education has so many holes that no professor can answer,I’m referring to our history, our civilization, our prehistory. There are so many questions about Egypt in particular that remain a mystery. My wife was bookish and slender, pale from spending most of her time in dimly lit research libraries, her glasses large and thick for similar reasons. Her obsession with history and ancient cultures knew no bounds, only second to her obsession with the human body, specifically the female body. Seriously, I've never met anyone more fascinated with boobs and butts. Even the messiest of frat boys would get flustered and stammer "W-woah, hey, uh, that's k-kind of, um..." I always told her that I thought her curves were perfect; her B cups fit nicely in my hands and her butt looked great in tight pants, even if it wasn't the biggest. But that wasn't good enough for her. I could always tell when she was horny because I'd be flooded with thirst traps of women, not to trap me or trick me, just to show me the kinds of extremes that she was obsessed with. Jealous of. Desired deeply and desperately.
When I took her to Greece for our anniversary, she had already picked out a temple she wanted to visit. She talked my ear off the whole flight, nearly 11 hours, about the kinds of artifacts and statues they found there, the borderline lewd artwork on the walls, having to remind her from time to time that we weren't the only people on the flight. She was just excited and that enthusiasm was very charming. She talked extensively about the various fertility rites and how our trip coincided with a ritual they'd perform in the spring. The eagerness in her eyes when she talked about wanting to be the first person to perform that ritual there in thousands of years... How could I say no?
Well, it's possible that those ancient folks knew more than we give them credit for. Even before we left the temple, her "authentic" dress was struggling to contain her impressive assets, her breasts doubling in size and her hips stretching wider. The armrests on the flight back proved to be a tighter squeeze than expected, her ass lifting her into the air an extra few inches. When we hit a patch of turbulence, her fingernails dug into the armrests, biting her lip and leaning to whisper in my ear "I can feel them growing!" When we got back home, we attempted a fashion show with some of her old clothes, her panties not even fitting around her thickened thighs and the cups of her bras barely fitting around one of her tits, let alone both. I had never seen her more aroused and, a day or two later, we finally collapsed, exhausted and sweaty and a little dehydrated, our hips aching. I can only hope that whatever goddess blessed her, us, is pleased with the results. We definitely are.

holistic womb healing tip:
aim to keep your womb warm by avoiding or limiting the amount of cold you put into your body and replacing it with warm foods + liquids. this increases blood flow to the uterus and aids in fertility! even if you're not trying to get pregnant, on a spiritual level, having a fertile womb allows you to naturally magnetize the things that you want in life with ease.

Is it just me or does the way Hera is portrayed in the PJO/HOO series feel out of touch? By that I mean, while it plays into the idea of Hera's relationship with her husband's children and ideals of family, it seems like Rick just took that and ran with it without actually wanting to dive into those aspects and develop them more (ngl, his writing for his female characters, especially the goddesses, could use some work even if I do enjoy them). The reason Hera is the way she is with her husband's children is because she can't punish him [Zeus] directly due to him being more powerful (and the last time she turned against didn't he literally hang her from the sky)? And even while I'm not justifying her actions, there's a method to them, so why would she go after other random demigods like Percy and Annabeth? Or at least in a way that was written better than her falling into a trope (I enjoy this series with my heart, but the criticism about how the gods are written holds some value that shouldn't just be ignored either). Like, I don't know, it just feels like there was more that could've been done with her character instead of just immediately writing her off as the cruel, cold-hearted, evil stepmother (a trope that's overplayed, especially when not even bothering to give them any depth). I could write ideas, but then we'd be here all day.
