I work with Athena(4 years) and Áine(6 months) and recently (after a big brake from witchcraft) I started again my craft and I feel Athena and receive signs and I speak to her normally but Áine's energy seems a little weak. I don't recieve signs, her candle is always dull, It's almost like I lost inspiration towards her. I asked her what could I do to strength our connection and I did not understand very well what she told me trough tarot. It's kinda wierd. What do I do? Have anyone been through this?
Water had a special magic for the Celts as a symbol of vitality and inspiration. The fact that it could capture lights (for example, a reflection of the setting sun) could not be rationally explained and was taken as proof of supernatural properties. Wells and springs were charged with magic powers. Lakes and rivers were the dwelling-places of otherworldly beings, like the Lady of the Lake in…

By the way, I don’t know much about most of these deities, and I encourage you to do your own research if you choose. If I missed any, let me know. Much love!
[OC/FAE] imported an old FFXIV pc and now she's a real oc. once Iltani Rya, now she's Iseult D'Awleigh, the Fae Queen's witch. Iseult is an illusionary, artificer, and is able to use Compelling Speech as a devotee of Uratháil (placeholder, once Callisto) the goddess of the new moon, eclipses, and illusions. Iseult's crest is the sun in eclipse, granted power and prestige by Áine, the Fae Queen.
It irks me so much that most fans of Grian, the Minecraft youtuber and member of the popular server Hermitcraft, aren't at large aware that in Irish folklore Grian was the winter aspect of the goddess Áine, the goddess of summer and THE SUN. Because!! It fits so well! The birdiness, the energy, the blondeness. And, I know, Grian (the minecrafter) is already depicted with sun symbolism! And people seem to know that the name means sun! But they don't know the rest of it!!! They don't know the Lore!!! The Folklore!!! And that irks me. It irks me. Also, a wild fucking coincidence, isn't it???
Legananny (Irish: Lag an Eanaigh, according to other sources: Liagán Áine, meaning “Menhir of the goddess Áine”) is a townland located ten kilometers northwest of Castlewellan and north of Leitrim in County Down, Northern Ireland.

(No grian is not a reference these two are inspired by the irish goddesses of sun, Áine representing the “bright” side of the sun, aka summer or spring, and Grian representing the “cold” side of the sun, aka winter etc.)
[I feel like Macaque and Libulan would get along very well. Both are moon entities, and are in love with a sweetheart on a mountain]
I just realized moon people get BITCHES
Like just see how many pairings there are!
Jiyu and Ykothe? That's just the moon and the tide!
Macaque and SWK? The moon and the sun!
Chang'e and Hou Yi? That's a representation of the moon and the ground!
Libulan and Sidapa? that's the moon and death itself being married!
Zuanshi and Meng? THAT'S THE MOON AND THE SKY DYNAMIC IF I EVER SEE ONE!
Anywayz, case closed, moon-coded people have rizz. /pos
I probably won't introduce Zuanshi unless you're interested in them (for description, Zuanshi is Jiyu's younger sister/brother)
Relationships regarding moon-coded people are my Roman empire (explanation if you don't get it; In the trend on TikTok, women record interactions with their husbands or boyfriends in which they ask them how often they think about the Roman Empire or to share the last time they thought about it; in short, thinking of a topic VERY often)
Couples with someone moon-coded make me ill in a good way; the trope is so damn bittersweet dairy products to lactose intolerant people. /pos
Posts about Libulan and Sidapa + Jiyu and her wife Ykothe.
Moon god swag/rizz.
Fun fact! Some versions of the Chang'e and Hou Yi myth; Hou Yi is associated with the Sun, as he's the one tasked with shooting down the Sun deities in chinese mythology. Some versions even have him banned to the sun as a mirror to his wife's punishment.
In my native mythos (Ireland), theres no one "moon god", but rather a collection of gods associated with it; Áine is the closest I can think of (goddess of Midsummer + the full moon) though she's more considered a sun goddess. There was also belief that luck was at it's best when the moon was waxing/getting bigger.
The Moon just got a vibe to it. Natural spotlight/timekeeper. You can look directly at it without going blind. All around great planetary object.
I really need a emergency reading please. Is there any tarot readers that can help me with a deity reading please? It's not do indentify anything, It's an emergency about one of my deities. Thank you.
Áine, an Irish Goddess of Summer and sovereignty, frequently depicted as a red mare and most commonly associated with County Limerick folklore, midsummer and St John’s Eve.
Water had a special magic for the Celts as a symbol of vitality and inspiration. The fact that it could capture lights (for example, a reflection of the setting sun) could not be rationally explained and was taken as proof of supernatural properties. Wells and springs were charged with magic powers. Lakes and rivers were the dwelling-places of otherworldly beings, like the Lady of the Lake in…
Aine (pronounced Awn-Ya) is a irish goddess associated with the sun, summer, agriculture and horses. She is the daughter of either Mannan Mac Lir or Egobail and the sister to Aillen. In variants stories she can be presented as a goddess, a faerie queen, or a mortal. In other stories she presents herself as a red mare.
In her most retold tale, she is the mother of Gerald FitzGerald. His father Earl of Desmond rapes her while witnessing her bathing in a pond and combing her hair. In retaliation, Aine either killed him or bit off his ear (depending on the tale. My mother would tell me the one where she killed him). Aine's son is known for having unusual powers such as the ability to change size and turn into a goose. This story is why I hesitate to consider Aine a fertility deity or a love diety.
Aine has a celebration on Midsummer celebrating her more agricultural aspects. She is also said to reside in a fairy hill Cnoc Áine where people used to gather to celebrate.
Some offerings include medowsweet, milk, violets, horse imagery, lavender, and fairy imagery. I've also offered bronze or silver jewelry, which seems to be received well.
