Ok how about a DBZ Goku x Reader x Chi Chi, with reader being a loner who keeps on running into Goku and Chi Chi and the relationship builds from there
I was very happy to see some dbz poly requests, so thank you so much <3 Love this idea!!
•°• GOKU x Loner!READER x CHI CHI •°•
+ You were new around the area and didn't have much of a plan of settling anywhere. You kind of started setting up camp around the outskirts of the city to get by. Little did you know, you set up camp somewhat close to a certain someones home.
+ Goku spotted your camp flying back from training one day and immediately stopped to check it out. You were a bit startled when the saiyan descended from the sky into your camp, but eased up a bit when you sensed he didn't mean any harm.
+ He immediately bombarded you with a load of questions of where you were from and what you were doing out here all by yourself. Normally these questions would have given off a vibe that the person was suspicious of their intentions, but Goku was just being his usual goofy, friendly self.
+ The conversation was fairly one sided with Goku doing most of the talking and you giving very short/vague responses. Though despite you seeming somewhat distant, Goku's friendly demeaner never seemed to falter, which gave you somewhat of a nice feeling.
+ The one sided conversation somehow led to you being dragged invited to dinner at his house. Chi Chi ended up scolding Goku for bringing a guest over last second, but immediately changed her tone to warm and inviting when talking with you.
+ This started to become a regular thing after a while. Goku would stop by your camp and immediately bring you over to have dinner with him and Chi Chi. Your one sided conversations, slowly growing into meaningful ones with the both of them. You also found yourself getting more emotionally attached to them as well.
+ After a while, you found yourself visiting Chi Chi while Goku was away to keep her company. You would help her out with small things around the house and then sit down with her to enjoy some reading and beverages. When Goku would come home, you would go with him to grab some ingredients needed for that nights dinner.
+ It wasn't long before they extended an offer to make room for you in their house. They knew that you had your camp, but you were already practically living there at this point. Never did you think you would end up settling down, but you were in no way against the plan.
+ The longer you spent with them, the more things started to develop between all of you. Lingering touches and longing stares shared with each other made all parties involved start to question these feelings. Goku of course had no qualms against loving the two of you, but Chi Chi was a tad worried about how others would perceive bringing a third into the relationship. It didn't take long for her to push these thoughts aside and just go with what felt right.
+ It was a bit of a learning process for all of you, but you made it work. You generally spent most of your time helping Chi Chi and relaxing with her at home while Goku was away. She definitely loved the cuddle sessions you shared in the early morning (and sometimes you even convinced Goku to stay in bed a bit longer too for these)
+ You would listen to all of Goku's stories and explain what training Vegeta and him went through. If you were a bit of a fighter yourself, you would probably join him from time to time to observe. You also worked as a middle man between the two of them and in a way brought them closer together.
+ To think you had spent most your time by yourself just to end up in such a loving relationship. Life was never dull and it was full of love.

Ok so hear me out, I know Chichi wearing an updo is to show her marital status as a married woman and that to show that she's no longer a maiden. But what if:
Goku knows Chichi looks amazing with her hair down and she looks even more appealing since she gave birth to Gohan. Like every single time they went to buy groceries or stuff in the nearest town, some random guys would come up to her and flirt with her. At first the flirtatious gestures went pass his head but it became frequent enough that he finally picked up the cues. So when Gohan finally in the grabbing stage where he loved to grab things including Chichi's hair, he finally found the perfect opportunity to convince her to keep wearing an updo even for going out and stuff. And ever since then, it became a habit to her to wear her hair in updo.
Here's what I thought the conversation with the z gang be like if they were to comment on this.
Yamcha: You do know your wife looks prettier with her hair down, don't you?
Goku: ......Really? looks the same to me.
Yamcha: Yeah, I bet she'll be more popular with the guys with her hair down. I mean come on, no matter how slow you are, you must have noticed this.
Goku:............I know. And that's exactly why she needs to wear her hair in an updo like that. 🙂😇
Yamcha: 😳

A Light in the Darkest of Tunnels Chapter 5 preview:
Catch up here: https://archiveofourown.org/works/45322336/chapters/114026995
Chapter 5:
5 years ago in Gohan's original timeline. The time Breakers had been destroying all in their wake. Most of the Z fighters have been killed at this point and all of the namekians. There was no namekian alive in either universe of this particular timeline now. The survivors had barely managed to defeat the Time Breakers with the help of Son Goku and his two sons. However this came at a heavy cost. Almost all of the Dragon team have been killed including Gohan and Goten's mother, Chi-Chi. It was already devastating enough that they had to deliver this news to their father. But the problem was they couldn't find him and tracing his energy was a no-go because his energy reading was nowhere to be felt.
The two of them tried frantically searching around. Trying to feel his energy only to little results.
Gohan tried frantically searching for his father, trying to find his energy signature with his brother but to no avail. By the time they actually managed to find him, guess who was laying on the ground. They won the battle, they just needed to find their father now. But his energy reading was nowhere to be found, and in their confusion they saw something they hoped not to find. Gohan and Goten found their father's body, and rushing towards it, prayed that he was still alive. But the closer they got, the more reality sunk in. The more it became blatantly apparent. Goku's body was completely lifeless. He wasn't breathing and his energy was gone. Gohan went to check to turn the body over and placed his ear on his chest, hearing no heartbeat.
He looked at Goten with a pained expression and the younger of the two was trying desperately not to break down. It's a painful reality that was evident. Their father was beaten. He was broken. And most importantly and heartbreaking, he was gone....
Son Goku was dead......
Back in the present, Gohan was seen waking up from vividly remembering it in a dream. His breathing was heavy as he processed everything that happened and Videl woke up from this as well. Wrapping her arms around him as this happened. “It's okay,” she told her husband softly. “We’re safe. Everything's going to be okay.”
Gohan only took a moment before he started to calm down. His heart rate and breathing began to study back to normal before he looked at his wife. “I got to call Mom and Dad and make sure they're doing okay….” he simply told her. A hint of regret present in his voice and Videl could easily understand where he was coming from. She knew that he wished she had done more for his original versions of his parents.
“Right now?” Videl asked, though she had a feeling she already knew the answer and Gohan kind of confirmed her thoughts. “Why don't you give yourself a few minutes to collect your thoughts first? I can tell you're still shaking from the nightmare.”
Meanwhile it was still dark out. Goku had recently woken up from another nightmare though clearly it wasn't bad enough to where Chi-Chi was woken up by it. At least to his knowledge. Took a moment to set up on his bed, before he gently rubbed his eyes. He was too used to this. And he was so damn tired. Despite this, they kept coming. To the point where he knew they would come regardless. They weren't as bad as they were before but they were still bad enough to where he was still shaken by it.
Slowly getting up, the once proud martial artist started to walk towards his bathroom but not without getting a new set of pajamas in order. Entering the bathroom before closing the door, Goku took a deep breath before removing his shirt, revealing his muscular but scarred body as he looked himself in the mirror, seeing them all on full display. Each of them are a reminder of some of his most difficult battles. His traumatic experiences. He didn't deal too much with them though as he took a deep breath and looked away from the mirror before removing the rest of his clothing, putting them all in the hamper in the bathroom.
Afterwards he turned on the water of the shower and entered the shower. Washing up, he couldn't help but feel a sense of sadness in his heart and in his soul, the Saiyan of Earth was deep in his own thoughts. He still couldn't understand why he was the one who survived and no one from his original reality. He didn't deserve to live. He never did. At least in his mind. Part of him felt like he deserved to be miserable for the rest of his life. But he was tired. So damn tired. He couldn't help but think about a moment two years ago.
It was when the Time Force 99 was disbanded and the last time Goku and Vegeta had spoken to each other before they reunited a few days back. It was a massive suicide mission, and although it was ultimately a success, it had killed most of the task force. With Goku and Vegeta being the only survivors. Because of this, Chronoa, the Supreme Kai of Time had simply decided to disband Time Force 99. She couldn't risk that type of squad getting into a predicament like that again, potentially with worse outcomes. Albeit beyond their control.
Nevertheless she had to spend time with the task force in question. But not everyone was accepting of the situation. Goku being the one in question. All the times he had argued against it, mentioning their success rate, mentioning their records, mentioning the fact that they knew the risks, but despite all that, granola had made the decision to disband them. Once she had made the decision she did not allow Goku to counter argue. She simply decided that the decision was made and that it was final. Even if it wasn't in total agreement.
The Earth Saiyan stormed out of the Time Nest after Chronoa's decision to completely disband TimeForce 99. The anger steamed in a metaphorical sense as this happened. Goku never thought that his blood could boil any more than it already was now. “this is absolute bullshit!!” Goku shouted. The clear anger present in his voice as this happened. Vegeta trying to reach his friend in the hopes to try to even either comment down or reach out to him.
“Kakarot, wait!” the Prince tried to say, only for Goku to glare at him.
“If you're going to tell me to calm down, try to rationalize the Supreme Kai of Time's decision, or try to tell me some optimistic bullshit that I'll see another version of my wife and family, again, I will beat that false sense of hope right out of you!” Goku lashed out in a threatening manner. Clearly not wanting to hear anything Vegeta had to say at the moment. The Saiyan Prince couldn't help but feel terrible looking at the anger and pain in his friend's expression and hearing it in his voice. The pain was something he related to a lot, and noticed in everything his friend did.
“Kakarot, listen, I know things don't seem ideal now, but-” before Vegeta could even finish though, Goku spoke and it was easy to hear the anger in his voice.
“Shut up, Vegeta!” the younger Saiyan told him harshly. “I’m sick and tired of hearing your false hopes and dreams!” Vegeta was shocked by this. Even for the version of Goku‘s lows, he never went out like this..“You can delude yourself about being reunited with Bulma, all you fucking want, but I'm not gonna to carry them when I know they are unattainable!”
“And what makes you think they're unattainable!?” Vegeta countered. “There are infinite timelines!”
“Infinite timelines where me and Chi-Chi are either together or want nothing to do with each other, dumbass!” Goku pointed out angrily. Not wanting to hear what Vegeta had to say. “WHAT MAKES YOU THINK I CAN HAVE WHAT I FUCKING WATCHED BE TAKEN AWAY FROM ME BACK!?”
Vegeta was about to shout back when he saw the tears from his friend. Before Goku continued. “What's the point of me still fighting!? Huh!? What's the point of me pushing forward!? I have nothing! For 2 years I had nothing! So if you're going to do something about me then do it! Fucking kill me! Please!” The last part hurt Vegeta to the core. The fact that this version of his friend was begging him to kill him, just showed just how broken he was. The fact that he had gone so low mentally, well…. It wasn't something he would have ever expected Son Goku to do.
“I….” Vegeta struggled to say. “I can't……”
Afterwards the two of them just stood there in silence. Neither of them was able to speak as the two of them couldn't help but feel immense pain. They said there for who knows how long before Goku just began flying away. And Vegeta could only watch as his friend flew away, unaware that this may be the last time they spoke to each other for two straight years.
Back to the present, Goku stayed in the shower, feeling the water falling down on his skin, and tears falling from his eyes. The regret was present in his eyes as this happened. Guilt consumed him like a tornado. He wished he had done things differently. Wiping the tears from his eyes, Goku then took a deep breath, turning off the water before stepping out of the shower. He stared into the mirror again, seeing the dark circles under circles.

Gochi angst:
Oh you thought it was just Vegebul? Lol no I'm here to make everyone cry
He had always been hard to understand. Perhaps it was because he was never human to begin with, or maybe perhaps due to his isolation as a child. She prayed it had nothing to do with his head injury from childhood. Regardless, it was safe to say her husband was an odd one. Even so, she understood most of his actions. Most.
Nothing could prepare her for the news that he would never come back. Not because the miracle wish orbs had failed, but because he himself had refused. Refused. As though returning to her was worthless. Even their son was of little importance, and yet she understood. It was a horrid twist of irony. The first time she understood her husband perfectly was the last time she would hear from him.
There would be no celebration for their second child.
Keeping that last bit of information to herself, thoughts of whether bringing a second child to a fatherless home plagued her mind. Was it a good idea? She still had her father, and everyone knew that her husband had done little in their son's academic life. She had practically raised the boy herself, but she could see her husband's influence in him. His kindness reflected in their son's ebony eyes. The man's overwhelming drive to protect those he loves had their son disobeying her orders every now and again. Even her husband's handsome features were starting to pop out over the years as their son grew. It was painful.
The thought of another boy popped in her head. A tiny version of her husband. Perhaps their child would have her eyes this time, or maybe even look more like her than her husband, but she knew. Deep down she knew that this second child would look like him. Just like their eldest, this child would be a constant reminder of her deceased husband, and oh how that hurt. How painful it was for her to imagine another reminder. Another child just like the man she would never see again.
She hated it.
Not the child. No, she could never hate anything that resembled that man, but the resemblance itself. Perhaps if she had a girl, one that looked like her and had no traces of her husband, perhaps then she could look at her child without an upset stomach. Perhaps only then could she avoid hearing the child ask if she hated them, because the answer would be no. She did not hate her child, their child, but she was deeply wounded by the man they looked like. The man she loved. The man who left her.
She figured she had little room to complain. Had she been faced with the same decision, she knew she would also choose her family's safety over their love. She would rather them hate her than expose them to another monster. Conjured only because she existed. So, he did. He left them to avoid putting them in danger once again. Whether it be due to his insatiable desire for combat, or his mere existence, it was safer for him to leave...and yet she disagreed.
The green alien that was now washing dishes in her kitchen next to her son, smiling as he heard the boy praddle on about his dragon friend, and the alien like her husband, currently living with her best friend who was now a father as well, were proof enough of her husband's influence. Only he could accomplish transforming two of their greatest enemies into family. As a matter of fact, her husband's best friend had been hostile to him when they first met. Most everyone he interacted with had attacked him in one way or another, and yet they had all attended his funeral. Heartbroken to know that the man that changed them would never come back. The glue that had united them was now gone.
A small movement in her stomach caused her to frown. Their second child would never get the chance to meet such a great man. They would hear stories, but it would be the same as hearing stories of a great superhero. Their father would just be some character from the past. Even if time travel was possible, it was a reality far into the future that her best friend was still incapable of achieving. Would their second child be an adult the first time they got to meet their father? Would they even get the chance?
She pressed her palms to her eyes and let out a shuddering breath. She had never agreed with the idea, had abhorred it, but it was so tempting now that she was alone. She had no desire to kill, but she also held no desire for another child. Not without him. Still, as she looked around, she knew she was incapable of destroying anything that came from him. She would hate herself if she ever did, and so she kept her pregnancy. It would be a secret, though, just until she was no longer able to hide it. Just until then, she wanted to forget. She wanted to pretend he had not abandoned her. Just until then.
-----
Her dilema was resolved quickly, and she was appalled at herself for having once thought to end her pregnancy. Seeing the second wave of shocked expressions at the full set of hair that came with the newborn, she could only laugh. Reaching for her child with shaking arms, she held the boy close. Tears of heartbreak and pure bliss burning her eyes as she glanced down at her second boy. An exact replica of her husband. Having lost most of her energy to the labor, she could only sob as she kissed her child. Whispering how much he looked like his father, and how his father would have a silly face if he were to be there. She was sure he would call his son a "little me", and it bubbled another laugh out of her, because he would be right. Their little Goten was a little him, and she would raise him to be just as kind. She would allow him to explore the martial arts his father loved so much, and she would make sure the boy grew up with the extended family his father had collected since he was a child himself. Even that grumpy prince that refused to call her husband by his human name.
-----
It was a bittersweet reality to see her youngest grow up almost identically to his father. Her son was rowdy and kind, and he was surpassing his own barriers with little effort. So young and already he possessed the terrifying ability to go "super". She panicked the first time she saw him transform, but only because she knew what it meant. He was too alike his father when it came to fighting, and she knew he too would one day look for trouble and, with that, would one day find himself in a fight he could not win. However, she decided it was a far away day. With the right preparation and training, perhaps it would be a day where her son would end up badly hurt, yes, but still be alive.
The strangest thing about her youngest, however, was how his relationship with his best friend worked. The two boys were almost mirrors of how their parents interacted. The friendship of their mothers and the rivalry of their fathers. Of course, she and her best friend had a rivalry of their own but, unlike their husbands, they were able to set aside their prides when they had to. Her best friend's husband was notorious for being both unwilling and unable to set aside his pride. Likewise, her son's friend was the last to put aside his pride. Often times her son was the one to cave, but she was happy to know there were still some things he refused to budge on. His morals were high like hers, but his kindness was endless like his father's.
So, to see him now, carried on his father's shoulder, rambling about his latest mischief with his best friend, was a miracle she never expected to witness.
Her husband was laughing as he added his own mischief. Talking about the strange trainings the turtle hermit had him and his best friend doing. Including the time he was denied dinner despite being the real winner of a race. To her embarrassment and absolute joy, the talk had shifted as she saw her husband glance back at her with a soft smile. He was talking about their first date.
It had only been after his miraculous revival. He had learned the hard way that being around his family was far less dangerous than being away from them, and had graciously accepted a second chance to be on Earth. It was the greatest battle to date. One that demanded he unite entirely with the princely warrior that matched him so well. Doubling their strengths and then some. She had been fearful of the whole battle from the beginning, when her sons had to face the magical beast, and even after when she woke up to an empty bed. Her sobs only stopping after her husband had picked her up in his arms after a late night snack. Apologizing and promising he would never choose to leave her again. It was during one of those nights that he spoke to her about his feelings. Unable to do so before he truly understood what he had lost.
She was almost too distracted by his hands, which were rubbing soothing patterns on her back and legs. She had missed his touch terribly, and it was far more than she was accustomed to in the past. It was jarringly obvious that he had missed her as well. He pulled her in close, unwilling to be apart again, and she finally heard a frown in his voice. He never frowned with her. Not in private like this, when it was just them. Not during their intimate sessions did he ever frown, but he did now.
He apologized again for leaving her and their two sons. While she already knew his reasoning, he explained himself again, and then pressed his cheek to her hand. Sighing as he fixed his thoughts. Then, he spoke about their date. About how often he thought back on that day, even as a child. How he had tried to replicate what he felt that day through different sparring matches. Unaware of what had made his match with her that day so different.
At first, he thought it was because she was a girl, but later battles would prove that gender was inconsequential to him. It was also obvious that it had nothing to do with it being a "fresh" battle with someone new, or because he was battling a close friend. He had fought a number of people after. Both strangers and friends alike, but he was never able to feel that same rush of excitement. "Maybe it's because you described it as the most pleasurable thing to do." He had laughed. Still unsure if what he felt was all that different from the rush of adrenaline he always felt with a new challenger, but he was learning. He knew now it was her, and that only she had that effect on him. The prince had once told him about how their people chose their partners, and that was how her husband knew.
She was almost breathless when he admitted the secret to her. What he had seen in her was something she had thought was lost long ago. A strong woman, a fighter capable of raising a family, and a burning spirit he was sure would never give out. His seven year absence definitive proof of that.
By the end of his monologue, they had shifted to where she was in his lap with her back to him. Leaning against him as he played with her hands. His slid down over her stomach and she was surprised to hear a soft growl escape him. He huffed about not being there for her when she really needed him, and apologized for not knowing about the pregnancy, even though he was quick to notice the first time around. She hardly blamed him. He was busy preparing for the fight that would end his life. Although neither of them knew it at the time. He promised he would have preferred to stay with her if he knew, and that gave her solace enough to admit her darkest thoughts from her pregnancy.
That was when he cried. Quietly, behind her. Face buried in the crook of her neck. The only indications of his sadness were the tremble that vibrated her own body, and the warmth that came from the tears that spilled onto her. She had expected him to be furious. Disappointed, even, in knowing what she was almost capable of doing, but not heartbroken. All he could do was curl her into him. Wrapping himself entirely around her as he cried out more apologies and promises to never leave her.
She slid a hand into his hair. Petting him for a moment before guiding him forward. His eyes were far too glossy for the amount of light the pale moon offered. "I'm so sorry, Chi." He cried once more before her lips met his. She swallowed whatever sobs fell out of him after. Shifting in his embrace without breaking their kiss. She was now over him, standing on her knees and cradling his face in her hands. She pulled away with a smile and wiped away his tears before drying her own face.
Touching foreheads, she breathed in his pain before a gentle laugh bubbled out of her. "Just stay with us, Goku. From now on."
He smiled again after that. One hand pushing back the raven hair he loved to play with as he pulled her back down for another kiss.
They laid back down in each other's arms. Eyes puffy from their emotional conversation. She had almost fallen asleep when one more word fell from his lips. One last promise: "always."

It’s been years since I posted on here!
@ace-artworks really inspired me with their giantess chi-chi idea so I thought I’d add my own take!
Chi-Chi becomes the Ox Queen after Goku never came back to marry her. When he comes to Fire Mountain for help finding the dragon balls, he’s stunned to find chi-chi as queen. She herself has a dragon ball that she had saved, and she was going to wish for a way to advanced education on Fire Mountain!
Check me out on my Insta I’m a lot more active there! @ raye_auburn 🫀
