Goten, Gohan and Chichi looking at the family album. Something they did more since Goten turned 6 and they wanted to show him who his father was.

Goten looked at his big brother, his mother and then at his father in the picture. They really were similar, even identical. He could say so, even at such a young age.

He could feel that his brother and mother were sad even when they tried not to.

Goten played with his hands, nervous.

"Gohan? Mommy?"

They hummed, looking away from the album to him.

"yes, sweetheart?"

"are you sad that I'm like daddy?"

Gohan almost screamed his "no", shocked. Chichi looked at him with widened eyes. She pulled him against her chest, caressing his hair.

"oh no baby, not at all. You're keeping us together, you keep us happy" she tickled his sides, "like we make you happy!"

Goten giggled, squirming away from Chichi and trying to find refuge to Gohan. But Gohan tickled him, too.

They all rolled around, attacking eachother with fingers on hips and laughing loudly.

Chichi then pulled her sons against her body.

"you two, my babies, could never make me sad. I'm so happy to have you. My gifts."

Gohan didn't even argue the 'baby', he simply snuggled closer and so did Goten. Face hidden in her side.

Love how when she first met piccolo she was all like “ew gross green freak!! He is evil and has claws!! Long ears!! He’s like huge too!! ew!!” But then after Goku dies bc of cell, she’s like “oh..slug man.. my son loves him.. he takes such good care of my kid..that’s hot. I think I need to wed him like rn…” and honestly she’s pretty real for that (it’s not even canon it’s my own delusion)
