The goblin looked at the orc. The orc looked at the goblin. They both looked down at the crumpled shape of the Overlord, His Unholy Majesty, in his obsidian armor.
His final spasms had been mesmerizingly acrobatic. The fall down the steps leading up to his iron throne had pretzelled his body quite impressively, both arms folded behind his back and one leg bent at a jaunty angle.
The goblin looked at the orc. The orc looked at the goblin.
"Shit," said the goblin.
"Shit," said the orc.
"We're likely to get blamed for this," the goblin said. She walked over to the head of the glittering mangled heap and started pulling the helmet off.
"It's not our fault," the orc said. "It's hard to help someone choking when they wear two-hundred pounds of spiked armor at all times."
"Yeah, well," the goblin grunted. The helmet came free, and the bald head of the Overlord bounced on the stone with a hollow, coconut noise. "You know how it is in this bloody country - thieves get their heads cut off so they can't think about thieving, and all that." She fished in the Overlord's mouth with a finger and pulled out the obstructing olive on the end of her claw.
She popped it into her mouth and chewed. "What do you reckon they do for a regicide?" she said.
"We should run," the orc said. She had started bouncing her leg. "I hear that there's some places in the Alliance where they just kill you and let you stay dead. That's got to be nicer than what'll happen if we stay here."
The goblin started to nod - and then her gaze fell on the helmet.
It looked like a pineapple designed by a deranged blacksmith. It was all thorns and spikes and hard edges, as though the maker had been very determined to not let pigeons roost on it. The only bits that weren't solid iron were eyeholes. Nobody had ever seen the Overlord's face.
She held up the helmet and squinted from it to the orc. One of the thorns had been bent badly in the fall.
Nobody had ever seen the Overlord's face...
"Right," she muttered. "Right. Could work - or."
The orc had a sudden vision of the immediate future. "No," she said.
"I mean you're about his height-"
"No."
"It would just be for a-"
"Absolutely not."
"Just hear me out," the goblin said. "Outside of this room are two-thousand men and orcs and goblins who are absolutely gonzo about this man, and there's a whole country of them outside of the castle, and at any moment someone's going to walk in that door and see one dead tit in black armor and two unbelievably dead idiots next to him.
"Or." She tossed the helmet up like a basketball to the orc, who fumbled and tried to find somewhere to hold it that wasn't a knife's edge. "We chuck him out the window now, walk out the door in the armor, and ditch the armor as soon as nobody sees us."
The orc had started bouncing her leg again. "They'll know something's up the second I walk out of the room."
"No worries," said the goblin. "Leave that to me."
---
It had been a very strange year for the Empire.
Change had rolled across the land as slow and inevitable as a glacier. Roads and bridges carved the gray, blasted wildlands, and a number of social reforms had made the country a place where you could be miserable, yes, but miserable in comfort and safety, and that was an improvement.
Barely anyone got boiled alive in molten metal, and even if the disgusted sun never rose to light the Empire, at least you had a roof over your head to protect yourself from the acid rain.
"Your empire flourishes, Your Unholy Majesty," the magician said over her wine glass. She looked down from the tower's balcony over the gleaming stone battlements. Some work had been done to line the castle and surrounding city with sizzling, crackling alchemical lights at night. The whole thing glowed like something dangerously radioactive.
The suit of armor waved a languid, glittering gauntlet over to the goblin, who bowed.
"His Abominable Gloriousness Thanks You," the goblin recited. "The Prosperity Of His Empire Can Only Be Achieved Through The Prosperity Of His People."
"If I may be so bold, I am quite pleased that you had chosen to take my counsel under consideration," said the magician. "We have accomplished many things together."
Another wave. Another bow. "The Overlord, May His Presence Swallow The Sun And Stars, Thanks You As Well."
"It was quite gratifying to see you change your mind, after so many centuries of denial." The wine was swirled. "Tell me, what was it that finally gave you cause to listen to me?"
There was the slightest hesitation. The goblin's eyes flicked to the armor, then to the magician. She puffed out her chest. "Do you question the wisdom of His Austere Lugubriousness?" she asked.
The magician looked at the goblin. She looked at the armor. She tipped her head back and drank the wine too quickly.
She looked back at the armor. "I know you're the orc, you moron," she said.
The room went deathly still. An alchemical light fizzled.
The orc pulled off the helmet, sending long, untied hair down tangling, and said: "How could you possibly-"
"Because you're both idiots!" the magician said. The goblin jumped. The orc jumped with a noise like a dropped stove. "What kind of a plan was this?! If it wasn't for me, you would have been turned into fertilizer months ago."
She closed her eyes. She took a long, dramatic breath. She set the wine glass down on the balcony rail.
"How did the Overlord die?" she asked when she seemed like she had gotten a hold over herself.
"Choked on an olive," said the goblin.
"Threw his body out the window," said the orc.
"You don't have to mention the window," said the goblin.
"Right," said the orc. "Sorry."
The magician looked out over the city, hand curled thoughtfully under her nose. "Who knows about this?"
"Just us. And, uh. You. Apparently."
"And why did you accept my counsel?"
The orc blinked. "Sorry?"
"Why did you accept my counsel?" the magician repeated.
"Well," the orc said. "Well - you seemed like you had good ideas-"
"Great ideas!" the goblin said with an edge of desperation. "Don't know why the old bastard didn't listen to you!"
"Right - right," said the orc. "And when we figured we were stuck doing this - well, it just made sense, really."
The magician seemed to absorb this. She nodded. "All right," she said, striding between the two and grabbing the crystal decanter.
"Um," said the orc. "Sorry. What happens now?"
"What happens is that you two will continue to serve as Overlord," said the magician. "You will continue to take my counsel. We will continue to reform this bloody country, and gods willing, we will turn it into the crown jewel of the world by next Midwinter."
The orc looked at the goblin. The goblin looked at the orc.
"Really?" the goblin asked.
"Oh yes," said the magician. "I've worked hard to be counsel to the Overlord, and I have no reason to stop now. And besides-"
She looked the orc up and down with a deliberate slowness, poring over every microscopic detail, eyes tracing over every jagged line, and grinned like a panther.
"You look much better in the armor than he ever did," she said. Dark robes swirled like a becleavaged thundercloud, and she strode out through the high iron doors, decanter in hand.
The goblin looked at the orc. The orc looked at the goblin.
"Shit," said the goblin.
"Shit," said the orc.

needy!reader x service top!abby
*ੈ✩‧✧・゚: *✧・゚✧・゚: *✧・゚:*✧・゚: *✧・゚:*✧・゚: :*₊˚ *ੈ✩‧₊˚ you’d been needy for so many consecutive days, climbing all over abby every chance you get, your mouth on her neck and cheeks and jaws and mouth every time she walks through the door. you’re constantly begging to feel her up, for her to fill you up.
so abby decided she’d start hard packing, she’d never been able to say no to you, giving you pleasure, seeing how you fall apart for her, it’s a feeling she’d die for before she’d let it go. the way your been guiding her fingers to your cunt, bucking into her face, begging for her strap, so now she’s on edge — excited, waiting for you to fawn over her so she could show you how ready she is for you. so ready to give you what you need, make you feel good.
and she knows you too well, when you wake up abby’s made pancakes and bacon and is sitting on the couch in her sweats waiting for you after you silently stuff your mouth and wash down with coffee like a grumpy morning goblin. abby watches over you with a smile and beckoning you over to the couch with a nod of her head. “good morning, sunshine,” she kisses your temple as you cuddle up into her side, her heavy arm creating a warm tender weight to your shoulders, her musk relaxing you. actually it also, it also made a heat rise up in your belly, your pussy still sensitive and sticky from when you work abby in the middle of the night so she could stuff you full of her fingers.
and when she rests her hand on your thigh, your legs draped over hers, you can’t help but lean into her neck, an embarrassing heat rising to your face at your being so needy. “abby?” you whine and she can’t help but chuckle, her eyes going from the tv to you,
“yes sweetheart?” abby answers even though her hand is already on the inside of your thigh, gently raking up your wetness as you huff into her neck and grip her should and forearm. “y’need me?” you nod your head, huffing quietly and biting her neck when she brings two of her fingers wet with her spit to your cunt and gently prod your entrance while she rubs your clit.
“been so needy f’me lately honey, fucking love it,” she groans, feeling your sweet wet pussy tightening and pulling her fingers in, your wetness already leaking from you, “mmh-shit you feel so good,” she grunts, her fingers sliding in to the hilt as she sighs and curls them into you, making you squeal and tighten your thighs around her hand. your hips start to circle and ride her fingers, huffing and sighing for —
“more, please,” you hum and abby handles you onto her lap, “c’mere honeybun,” abby hums pulling her dick free from her sweats. her fingers going into your mouth so she can make you taste yourself, and gag you on all four of her fingers, her other hand cupping the back of your head so she can guide it down on her fingers until you’re drooling about them.
“spit,” abby demands, her waiting wet hand waiting and as soon you to do she’s fisting her strap and kissing you, lining you up with her.
“come on, take what you need baby,” abby whines as you sink down on her, steadying yourself with your hands on her abs as she strokes your thighs. “yeah, take it baby, good girl,” your girlfriend cooes into your ear and feels you humping and bouncing on her.
“please touch me,” you gasp and abby’s hands are all over you, coming to tweak and tug at you nipples until your wailing, your fingers coming down to rub your clit,
“that’s it baby, cum for me, wanna feel you cum around me,” abby grunts her arm wrapped around your hips, keeping you still as she bucks up into you, hard and deep slow thrusts that rub on your gspot and have you cumming around her.
I’m so needy for this bitch ohmmygod

*short fic alert* (fic under page break)
Hear me out. Is this….John Price?!
The 141 get home late from a mission, Johnny and Gaz go straight to the showers and Simon slinks off to wherever it is he winds down after a tough few days.
You have been sat on the proverbial bench for the past few weeks with a bullet wound to the shoulder. While rendered useless to the team, you decide to take up a new hobby. So far, the boys have been lab rats for the taste tests of whatever concoction you pull from the oven.
The burnt cookies (that you’d forgotten to put eggs in) that Kyle had whined about almost breaking his perfect teeth. Johnny managed to gobble them up and didn’t seem to understand what the problem was, leading Simon to joke that the man had no taste buds.
Or the time you accidentally used Salt instead of Sugar in the Victoria Sponge cake. Kyle subtlety threw his slice in the bin while you weren’t looking making sounds as if he had enjoyed in. Johnny ate it, making it look so delicious that you were getting confident that your baking skills were finally improving. Simon took a slice back to his room and in the privacy of his own bed, took a bite, and immediately spat it down the toilet. “Christ Almighty, that fuckin’ twat really doesn’t have taste buds” he cursed.
You perfect your skills over the next couple of weeks, with Johnny and Kyle remaining endlessly supportive of your new venture. But the entire time, John avoids your baking attempts.
“Need to watch my weight, love”
“Wish I could have a bite, but I’m on a diet, sweetheart”
“Can’t afford to pile on the pounds at my age, Dove”
They are John’s favourite excuses. You won’t admit it, but it makes you sad. You want to make all of your boys happy. Also, he isn’t even that old for gods sake.
Simon knows that the Captain is avoiding your god awful attempts. But even Simon notices that your skills are slowly improving. He keeps sneaking cupcakes and cookies into his room and this past week, especially, they’d been… alright. Well - apart from the horrifically deformed attempt of decorating a cake like Yoda. It looked like a slimy goblin with wonky eyes - but it tasted ok.
So picture this, they get home from a three day long mission. You’d missed your boys. You’d left your most recent cake on the kitchen counter before going to bed. You climb out from your bed when you hear their tired footsteps heading down the hall.
You poke your head out of the door. Johnny and Kyle come over and give you a soft hug. “Christ, you boys stink” you say. “Fuck off” Kyle laughs, before stripping himself of his shirt “gonna hop straight in the shower anyway. See you in the mornin’, yeah?” he asks. I nod and watch as he leaves towards his room.
Johnny stands, watching Kyle retreat. “I smell even worse than him, hen” he says, trying to shove your head into his armpit. You fight him off and shoo him down the hall.
Simon walks past and gives a small nod, “you might want to go and see Price. He made a beeline for the kitchen” he grumbles, continuing on his way casually.
That comment puts you on edge. Is John hurt? Is he looking for you? You quickly slide on your fluffy slippers and shuffle down to the kitchen as quickly as you can.
The scene that greets you is the last thing you expect to see. The Captain, in a wide stance, leaning one hand on the counter, devouring your Cake (the best one you’d baked so far!!!) with just a single fork. He’d polished off at least half of it, showing no signs of slowing down.
You can’t help but giggle at the scene. “Is it good…?”
“Fuckin’ hell, Love. It’s delicious”
The blush that erupts over your cheeks is immense.
“That was supposed to be shared..” you mumble.
“Not in a sharing mood” he says through a mouthful of cake.
“It’s rude to chew with your mouth open, Captain” you joke.
“Teach me some manners then, sweetheart” he teases, stabbing the fork into the top of the remaining quarter of cake before crowding into your personal space.
“Cakes almost as sweet as you” he whispers into your left ear before leaving the kitchen with a smug smile as you stand frozen in place.
“Oh, I’ve forgotten something!” He mentions from down the hall before turning back and snatching the cake box from the counter. He pauses on his way out, pecking you on the cheek and heading to his office as if that was totally normal behaviour.
You’d be lying if you said you didn’t stand touching the spot that he’d kissed for half an hour after he’d left.
Your phone interrupts your frozen state. It’s a text from the group chat.
………..
Johnny: “Kyle, d’ya think Cap told her how he feels yet?”
………
Johnny: “c’mon ya cunt, don’t ignore my message. I know your out the shower I can hear you laughin through the wall”
………
Simon’s voice bellows throughout the hallway “wrong fuckin’ chat, you moron” followed by Kyle cackling and Johnny swearing loudly.
You’re still standing in the doorway of the kitchen, in shock, when the door to John’s office opens.
“Guess you saw that, eh?” he asks, sheepishly.
You nod your head, zoning in on a piece of icing on the corner of his mouth. As if on instinct, you reach up and wipe it with your finger, sticking it into your mouth, before freezing again, realising what you’d just done.
Johns eyes follow your finger, hungrily.
“If you wanted to taste it, you could’ve just asked, love”

In your debt
Young druid Halsin x Reader
Ever since I saw the young Halsin art above by @ozumii-fucking-wizard, I have been obsessively staring at his gorgeous damn face (thank you so much for this version of him, I am hopelessly in looooooove)!
Enjoy young Halsin healing you~
Part 2
Warning: Blood, Violence, Swearing
-----
You ventured through the forest, wanting to escape the loud bustle of the city. Carrying your heavy instrument on your back, you strode through the man-made trail into the thicket, to your usual spot you decided was your permanent hideaway.
You knew the forest was home to a druidic group, who adopted young lost children. You never encountered any druids on your many trips here, but you knew they were aware of you: sometimes you found some foraged fruit and vegetables at your spot, packaged neatly with strings or in small sacks. Someone left you these gifts. You assumed they liked your music, since you often came into the woods to practice some new songs you were crafting. You weren’t sure if the children were this fond of you or if it was some druid who kept leaving trinkets. It didn’t matter really, you were grateful nonetheless.
Today, you hadn’t found anything left for you. This wasn’t too unusual; you never ventured here expecting to receive anything. You let the strand of your instrument slide down your arm, placing it next to your seat by the large oak. It was clear this spot wasn’t really used by others, the print of you sitting in the dirt only really matched yours. It always seemed undisturbed, like you left it, with the occasional gifted sack placed there.
You gazed at the lake, where fireflies danced happily over the dawn lit water. It was another pleasant morning and you took a deep breath, enjoying the lovely fresh air you rarely got to inhale. Baldur’s Gate was lively and exciting, but you were always drawn back to this place.
You started plucking the strands of your lute, absentmindedly, taking in the sunrise as the rays warmed your face. You felt the trees sway with your music, as if they were welcoming you back. The forest seemed more alive here and had a distinct personality. Childlike glee vibrated through the branches. The tranquility of this area made you sink back into the tree, leaning against its strong body.
Something boomed in the distance. You sat up with a jolt. Normally, the only sounds you heard here were twigs breaking or the wind whizzing through the glade. You looked around, trying to locate the source of the noise.
Another blast. This time, there was shouting that followed. Some sounded panicked, some aggressive.
You got to your feet, frantically, staring into the distance where you thought the brutal noises were ebbing from. There were screams now. And they sounded young.
Without really thinking, you started sprinting towards the cries. Clutching your lute in one hand at your side to keep it from knocking your hip, you darted through the brush. There were children screaming and wailing, getting louder and louder the faster you ran towards them. A loud, ugly voice was yelling at them.
There were other more distant shock waves bellowing: an ambush? Were the druids under attack?
You heard the angry voice thunder in front of you, as you slid behind a birch tree.
“Move it, you little shits! Or I’ll cut yer hands off!”, a goblin with a bloody handprint across his face snarled at a group of mixed children, who were huddled together, sniveling and trembling uncontrollably. He pointed a curved, dirty blade at their backs, as they sheepishly shuffled along.
“Can’t we just kill them and drag their corpses? They’re so fucking slow…” Another smaller goblin groaned, walking in front of the hostages.
“No, the drows say they need new slaves. We need ‘em alive,” he pushed a small tiefling in front of him, who let out a terrified shriek, “Faster! Before the stinkin’ druids catch up.”
They passed the birch tree, which was rooted opposite a cliffside. The rapids below reverberated up, making it hard to hear clearly.
Goblins were attacking the druids, the far sounds of crashing and clanging meant a fierce battle was commencing.
“They won’t be able to hold them back much longer, Izick,” the short goblin at the front was standing close to your hiding spot. You peered through the branches and saw the poor souls quivering wildly. Their faces were cut and stained with blood. You deduced whoever was watching over them had been murdered in front of them.
You weren’t a fighter. But you couldn’t let them take the children.
The small goblin turned to face the group; his back facing the tree. You grasped your lute hard, making the skin around it paler. You took a deep breath, preparing yourself for guaranteed pain.
This was an expensive instrument, too.
You pounced out of the woods into the clearing and slammed the lute onto the head of the unassuming goblin. It broke over his fat head, but the velocity had done its job. He fell to the side with a loud thud, letting out a last, gurgled groan. You kept hitting him with the remaining pieces of your improvised weapon, making sure he was dead. The blood pooled around him.
Izick was already running towards you, having pummeled through the victims without care, who all fell to the ground and held their heads to the dirt, whimpering and horrified.
You dodged the first swing of his blade, but knew instantly this wasn’t a fight you could win. You had nothing to fight with, except your fists, and you dared not get close to him as she flourished his disgusting weapon.
The goblin roared as he jumped towards you. You collided and felt a scorching pain in your stomach. He had gotten you, deep in your belly. You screamed. You both fell to the ground near the edge of the cliff. The goblin tried to pull the blade back out while he sat on top of you, but it was stuck. Izick cursed at you, although no insult really reached your ears. Your entire body centered around the searing wound in your abdomen.
The children were petrified. You saw the tears roll down their faces as they watched the pathetic scuffle. If you failed, they would suffer endlessly. You couldn’t allow him to kill you, before you saved them.
He lifted his fists to pummel you. His face was etched with determination, he would beat you to death if he had to.
Your arm moved instinctively. You grabbed his collar, before his fists met your face, and leaned your entire body weight to the side, where the roaring river called to you. It was the only way.
You felt the wind whistle past your ears as you fell with the goblin in your grasp to the depths. You both crashed into the icy water and you felt him drift away, as the muffling water slowed everything. Your body was being pulled to the side, the current dragging you uncaringly down the river. It pulled you violently from one side to the other, not tiring of its new toy, pushing you up and down like a ball. Weightless, you floated and let it take control, unable to do anything else.
Your thoughts silenced. The cold of your surroundings embraced you and you had no strength to resist. The pulsating pain from the blade kept you awake, barely.
After a while, you felt yourself bob up, your head bracing the surface. The sudden blaring of the river crashed into your ears as you gasped for air. Your eyes blurred. The water seemed to settle into a lazy tempo. You didn’t know how, but you kept your head above water. You saw red puddles waft after you.
The current carried you to a small bank, discarding you there as it continued on. You lay on the muddy earth, motionless, staring at the piercing blue sky that seemed to beckon you towards it. The blade still stuck out of you, you saw it move up and down as you breathed shakily. You couldn’t keep your eyes open much longer.
Your heavy lids fell, darkening everything. The pain slowly left, too.
You were dying. And you were accepting it.
Before the complete darkness, you felt tiny hands pressing on your aching belly. That spot felt warm and kind, as the last of your wits evaded you.
Quiet. Emptiness. Nothing.
Halsin’s lips clasped yours, as he breathed into your mouth, holding your nose. The moss on your puncture was absorbing the excess blood. The vile blade lay discarded to the side, already carefully pulled from you.
You convulsed and coughed out, life filling your face first and then gradually seeping into your weak limbs.
You blinked hard and opened your weary eyes.
Halsin met your gaze and placed a hand on your cheek, as his other etched glyphs into the air.
“You’re going to be alright…”, he said softly, as a green mist appeared suddenly from his hand, which he lowered down to your injury.
“Breathe…”, he commanded gently. You obeyed and took a shaky breath. Your body felt heavy. Even breathing was difficult.
You felt his hand pressing on your abdomen. Whatever he was doing, the agony was quieting because of it slowly. You watched him as he attended to your mortal wound.
He was beautiful. A few braided pieces of his long, honey hair fell effortlessly next to his face. The jade eyes were focused, but there was an air of kindness about them. You squinted at the embroidery on his attire. This was one of the druids. He looked young, but the elf ears suggested he might be older than he appeared.
You attempted to speak, but could only let out feeble coughs.
“Don’t speak. This will take a bit to close up”, he looked down at you and smiled kindly. You blinked as a response, taking another deep breath as you felt the pain flee your body.
There was a brief silence, the only sound was the hypnotic whirring of his enchantments.
“You did something truly courageous back there. The children told me. They recognized you, the singer in the woods…they often spoke about you at bedtime”, he chuckled briefly, “Didn’t expect I’d meet you under these circumstances.”
You watched him, as he seemed to reminisce fondly. So, it was the children who left you gifts at your spot?
His other hand swished and another cloud of green wafted out of it. He placed that hand next to the other on your stomach.
“I am in your debt. You saved the little ones, when they were not your burden. Truly, you’re a real hero.”
You didn’t know how to respond. You were also more than confused as to how he found you so quickly. You felt like you had been drifting in that river forever. And the druids lived deep within the forest.
Who in the Hells was this elf anyway?
“You are exceedingly lucky. Thaniel found you and tended to you before I made it here.”
You raised an eyebrow, coughing again.
“Oh, haha. Thaniel is the forest spirit here. He seems quite fond of you.”
A forest spirit? Your exhausted brain couldn’t process that thought. You couldn’t really contest the idea either.
The druid lifted his hands briefly, checking how far along the healing process was. Deciding it needed more time, he repositioned his palms. You observed him for a while in silence as he concentrated on the regeneration of your tissue. He was huge. You felt like a child next to him.
“Wh-who are you…” you croaked out faintly.
He turned to you, his eyes softening with a calm smile.
“I’m Halsin,” he put one hand on your shoulder to keep you down, as you tried to sit up at the response. It didn’t take much strength to keep you there. He smiled more widely, then turned his attention back to his task.
Halsin. You had heard that name before. Whispered by folk in the area, he was famous for his incredible healing abilities and knack for getting captured. You only knew one druid by name and that was him. A druidic protégé, yes. A fierce warrior, yes. But a bit different. People in town talked about the impulsiveness of the young druid, which caused the other, older druids to scratch their heads in frustration at his unpredictability. And that‘s who was healing you right now?!
Gods, you never imagined he’d be this dreamy.
You were probably dreaming. No, you were dead. Definitely.
No being was this beautiful.

before i never really interacted with blogs(cuz anxiety and very toxic friends had my tumblr, who ive gotten rid of now) but now i literally interact with every post bc of you, you are god and i will worship you, your smut is poetic af and has my legs SHAKING(.literally.)
i am ON MY KNEES❗
also, alastor and his rivals(vox or lucifer) x reader smut? like i know alastor would be petty asf and have them watch as he fucks the living out of their beloved, im curious, do you have any ideas regarding that?(cuz your ideas are delicious and im hungry for that)
You’ve left me speechless which is quite the accomplishment, Darling. I am just a little goblin! Or like the tooth fairy, but instead of teeth I take praise and instead of money I leave filthy smut 🥺 I am so glad you removed the toxic friends and are interacting more. 💖 you deserve better and your interactions are a joy. Thank you for brightening my day! I am so far away and yet you’ve got me blushing like a fool.
oooh yes okay so! Here’s some ideas 👀
•───⋅⋆⁺‧₊👑₊‧⁺⋆⋅───•
Energy for me is Lucifer: Here to please. Alastor: Here to win. I imagine Luci brings you to the hotel for Charlie’s Birthday party, already having a precious casual fling once or twice before. All the guests are there, everyone is dancing and drinking and having a good time. Alastor notices how you call him Luci, how Lucifer cant keep his cool when you lean closer to him when you speak. Naturally, Alastor sees an opportunity to fuck with Lucifer so he asks for a dance. He is uncharacteristically sweet and loving, willing to do anything to get under the king of hell’s skin. He changes the music to something slow, holding you close he whispers in your ear during your dance, “How can any man maintain composure around you? I feel my manners slipping through my fingers every time you look my way.” When you leave the party to cool down, Alastor follows, finding you in an empty room trying to decompress. “Would you hate me if I kissed you? Be forewarned, once I start, I’m not sure I’ll be able to stop…”
Lucifer walks in to see you absolutely melting under Alastor, lipstick smeared and face flushed. But Luci adores you, your pleasure is his pleasure and he’s compelled to stay and watch, even as Alastor makes you moan and scream his name. “Who do you belong to, sweetheart?” “Whose cock are you made for?” You’re reduced to incoherent babbling by the time Alastor is finished toying with Lucifer. Lucifer can’t take it anymore and finds himself crawling onto the bed to swallow your moans and shower you in praise.
•───⋅⋆⁺‧₊🖥️₊‧⁺⋆⋅───•
I can see Vox bringing his beloved personal assistant to an overlord meeting for note taking, and Alastor notices your glances to him. Vox adores you, and is always on his best behavior around you to impress you. Alastor waits for you outside of Vee Tower that night for a “chance run in”. “What luck! Allow me to buy you a drink, as a welcome to hell.” Charms you as any good southern boy could, and suggests you both go back to your office for privacy. Knowing full well Vox has cameras all over the office, Alastor fucks Vox’s assistant on his desk while maintaining eye contact with the massive collection of screens there. Vox catches sight of this while skimming through the feeds but can’t break away from the video. Alastor keeps your back to the displays while bouncing you on his cock, smirking at Vox the entire time as he leans back on his desk chair. Vox is seething and finally rushes to his office to find Alastor gone and you lying on your back, still out of breath and cum dripping onto the desk.
Vox keeps you, but gets rid of the desk. He can’t let Alastor have the satisfaction of making him lose his prized employee. For weeks after, while zoning out in board meetings, his screen flashes images of Alastor smirking from over your shoulder as you ride him. He’s entirely unaware that it’s happening and everyone is too scared to tell him.

Bound For Life - Chapter 1
Pairing: OC!Orc x Human Female Reader
Summary: Your life is nothing exciting. Until one day when you encounter a creature in the forest and your life is changed forever.
Warnings: Nsfw! Smut, Orc Sex, Monster Sex, Unprotected Sex, Rough Sex, Size kink.
Author's notes: Okay, so this is my first time writing and posting anything original. I hope this is good enough to post and that a few out there will like it.
Chapter 2 Chapter 3 Chapter 4
Life had never consisted of anything exciting or interesting for you. As you grew up to be an independent young woman after the death of your parents, you found yourself living quite a boring life. Living alone in a small cottage in the forest outside the village, you worked at the local Inn. Every day was the same as the other. Meeting the same people, having the same dull conversation.
Little did you know, it was soon about to change.
You knew of the creatures in the world, of the elves and trolls, goblins ad orcs, but you'd never encountered one. Their lands were far away from the humans, so distant it felt like a fairytale red to spellbound children.
It was late at night after another shift. You walked through the dark and murky forest, following the stone path to your home. Suddenly, your skin tingled and your eyes flickered as your breath deepened, inhaling more air. Your footsteps slowed down as you listened with great intensity, couldn't shake the feeling that you were being watched.
You looked behind you, expecting your eyes to connect with a rodent, a wolf, or a bird, but nothing was there. Nothing but a lingering knowing. Looking onward again, you quickened your steps this time, hoping to escape the constant feeling of being followed by watchful eyes.
*
Yolmar hid in the darkness of the forest, watching the fragile, little female figure walking the path through the woods. He had never seen a human before. His head tilted, nostrils flaring as he felt the smell of your fear. It was almost like hunting a deer.
Yolmar had never been this far away from home. As he came of age, Yolmar was sent to explore the world to find a suitable mate. He never expected that it was the sent of a human that would awaken his interest.
A sudden crack made him look to the side, his pulse quickening at seeing the wolf sneaking up on you. His eyes snapped back to you, then back to the wolf, his instincts taking over when the animal suddenly lunged towards you.
*
It all happened so fast. Despite your senses being on high alert, you barely had time to react when you heard the crack of a breaking tree branch behind you. Twirling around, you stared at the wolf galloping towards you. Your scream didn't have time to leave your lips before the wolf was knocked to the ground by an enormous, green-skinned humanlike creature. You stared at the scene before you, unable to move as the creature wrapped his muscular arm around the wolf's neck and broke it. The green beast dropped the lifeless wolf to the ground, its chest heaving with heavy breaths as he turned his attention to you, staring at you with yellow, intense eyes.
From the stories told to you as a child, you knew that it was an orc.
You thought you would die on the spot as the orc moved closer, its heavy footsteps booming in your ears in pace with the sound of your own racing heartbeat.
"You okay?" the orc spoke, his voice guttural as he struggled to speak your tongue. You blinked, once, twice, as you stared up at this monstrous beast before you. His yellow eyes examined you with what you could only describe as...concern? He was tall, probably close to 6,6, his bare-chested upper body flexing with muscles as he breathed heavily.
You nodded at his question, couldn't find your voice as your gaze dropped to his loincloth, your face heating up as you imagined what was hidden beneath. What on earth possessed you to think such inappropriate thoughts in the face of death? You looked up again, your eyes following the shape of the black mohawk on his head, down his pointy ears, and the two tusks protruding from his bottom lips.
"Good," the orc answered to your nod, his gaze slowly roaming down the shape of your body, and you found yourself blushing. Why did he make you feel so utterly naked and bare?
"Uhm...t-thank you. For...for saving me," you finally managed to say, your voice shaking as much as your heart pounding in your chest.
The orc nodded, a smirk ghosting across his lips as he looked back up to your face and met your gaze.
"W-what are y-you doing here? I-I mean, s-so far away from your homeland?" you asked, not knowing where you got the courage to speak. Good lord, this was so unreal. Were you actually having a conversation with an orc?
"I left my clan to search for a mate," the orc replied, taking a step closer to you as he gazed at you leeringly. "I am Yolmar. What's your name, little human?"
You stared up at him, unable to breathe at his closeness and the lustful glimmer in his eyes.
"Y-Y/n...," you croaked and wetted your lips, scared of what might happen next.
"Well, y/n..." Yolmar placed his forefinger under your chin, lifting it up and forcing you to hold his gaze. "I believe you owe me for saving you."
Holding your breath, you felt a heat rush through your core as you looked into his piercing, yellow eyes.
"I-I...w-what do you want?" you whispered, barely loud enough for him to hear.
"You. As my mate."
Your eyes widened as you kept staring up into his eyes. Your ears were buzzing, mind unfocused on everything except the word coming from his lips.
Mate.
"W-What?" you flickered your eyes, the nervous beating of your heart increasing. "W-What do you mean?"
"It's your scent. I could smell it from miles away, the way only a mate could sense it. You and I are mates, destined to be together. I must confess I was disappointed at first that you're not an orc. But now that I see you, how tempting your soft and tiny body is, I can't wait to claim you. To make you mine."
Yolmar smirked and leaned down to your ear, inhaling your scent. A growl of appreciation rumbled in his chest, and the sound along with his hot breath on your skin caused a trail of goosebumps down your body. You couldn't believe this was happening, couldn't believe how willing your body was to accept him when your mind was still trying to protest. Yolmar's finger left your chin and slid down the nape of your neck, sending another wave of goosebumps down your skin. A keen whimper slipped from your lips and you became shamefully aware of the arousal pooling between your thighs. Yolmar growled at the sound coming from your lips, his hand landing on your waist, covering your entire hip.
"P-Please don't, I can't...," you begged, hated the uncertainty in your voice and how your body betrayed you, aching and throbbing to feel him inside you.
"I can smell your arousal, human," he growled, digging his fingers into the soft flesh of your hips, coaxing an embarrassed moan from your lips. Yolmar snickered. "You want me as much as I want you."
His hand found its way underneath your dress and undergarments, two of his long, thick fingers slipping between your soft folds and into your wet, spongy core. You gasped and grabbed his big arms as his fingers stretched you out.
"So wet and tight," Yolmar mumbled and started moving his fingers inside you, grunting at the squishing sounds your pussy was making. His cock jerked at the feeling of your wetness, twitching, and hardening to life, eager to fill your tight, little cunt to the brim.
"Oh fuck," you gasped at the feeling of his fingers thrusting into you, didn't understand why you didn't stop this stranger, this monster, from doing this to you. Most of all, you didn't understand why you wanted him to do this, why your body seemed to crave his touch. Maybe it was true what he said? That the two of you were destined to be mates.
"Such foul words coming from such a sweet, little thing," Yolmar chuckled, the sound vibrating through your core. "Tell me, my little human...Do you crave my cock inside you?" At the last word, he pushed his fingers deeper inside you, pushing against your g-spot and you screamed out in pleasure.
"Y-Yes! Please, yes," you whimpered, tears welling up in your eyes as he repeatedly thrust his fingers into you at a rapid pace.
Yolmar grinned and took out his fingers from your pussy, his hands violently ripping the dress from your body, leaving you only in your undergarments. You gasped, wanted to cover your bare chest when the orc stared at your breasts but didn't have time to react before his calloused hand cupped your tits. "Pretty," was all he said and kneaded the soft flesh, felt the weight of them in his hands, and rubbed his rough thumbs across your nipples that hardened at his touch.
"P-Please," you begged, bit your lip at the feeling of your pussy aching and clenching desperately to be filled.
Yolmar lifted his gaze, his yellow eyes filled with hunger as he removed his loincloth. Your gaze dropped, widened when you saw his enormous, engorged member pulsating and leaking with precum as it stood proudly in a curve up against his stomach.
"Oh, fuck...," you whispered, wondering how it would ever fit inside you at the same time as your pussy twitched at the sight of him.
Yolmar chuckled at the frightened wonder on your face. "Don't worry, little one. It will fit. If we take it slowly. Now, get down on your hands and knees."
You obeyed on trembling legs, jerked and gasped when he ripped the undergarments from your body and grabbed your hips with both hands, pulling your ass up in the air. Then, you felt him at your entrance, slowly pushing the bulbous head between your fold and into the tight hole of your pussy. Your eyes widened, breath coming out in short gasps through your parted lips.
"So tight. So fucking tight and small," Yolmar mumbled and howled in pleasure when the head of his cock suddenly popped inside your warm, wet entrance. At that point, he couldn't control himself anymore. Grabbing your hips harder, he bucked his hips against your ass, pushing his cock into you halfway before pulling back. You cried out, back arching and head thrown back as his huge cock stretched out more than you thought was possible. Then, he thrust forward again and you screamed a silent moan, realizing he had only been halfway inside you and he was now fully seated in your womb.
"Feels so good...so good, my sweet, little human," he crooned, almost lovingly, as he started a slow and gentle pace of fucking you, claiming you as his mate. Your vision got blurrier with each of his thrusts, sending wave after wave of pleasure through your body. Soon, your mind became dazed and numbed, and a smile spread across your lips when all you cared about was how absolutely divine his cock felt inside you. You could feel the pressure building in your core with each thrust, bringing you closer and closer to orgasm. Then, the orc suddenly pulled out and you whined at the loss of contact, of feeling so empty inside.
Yolmar pulled out and positioned himself above you, on his hands and feet as he pushed inside you again, his massive frame hovering above yours as he thrust into you. You moaned when Yolmar pushed back into you again, smiled as you looked up at him over your shoulder. You looked into his eyes and held his gaze as he quickened the pace once more, rapidly shoving his dick inside you over and over until your senses were overflowing.
Yolmar looked back into your eyes as he slammed into you hard and fast, rougher with each thrust. The slapping sounds filled the forest, blending with your high-pitched moans and the orc's snarling growls above you. The pressure in your belly intensified and finally erupted just as you felt the orc pump into you a final time, burying himself deep inside you as he came. His cock twitched inside you and the feeling of his seed pulsing into you brought you swiftly over the edge, your pussy clenching and milking every last drop out of him. Yolmar threw his head back, his loud, guttural growl echoing through the forest as he emptied his seed inside your belly. You collapsed onto the ground, panting for air and your body becoming limp as you felt his cum flow out of you, creating a white river on the dirty ground between your thighs.
"Mine," he muttered quietly and out of breath as he picked up your exhausted body.
Yours. You smiled tiredly when Yolmar cradled you in his arms, and he started walking down the path leading to your cottage.

Unhinged totally unasked for thots about Riding Pedro Boys
Authors Note: So this came from me chugging entirely too many energy drinks and then projectile vomiting in Taylors inbox. I'd like to warn you that: English isn't my first language, I have never written smut before, I'm not a real writer, and also I'm trash goblin levels of unhinged about this. That being said; Enjoy and uhh. Forgive me Fandom
JAVIER PEÑA
Javier Pena doesn't let you do it.
Don't @ me LISTEN! (YES I STARTED OFF WITH A CONTROVERSIAL THOT FUCKING BITE ME.)
That man does not have the time, or the patience, or the good sense (the sense is at the other end) to let you ride. He needs the control okay? And sometimes it's not even about the control ! It's the frustration. It piles and piles and piles until he snaps. He needs to do. He will bend you over and work his frustration away until he has had enough and you let him because he needs it. (And lets be real he makes it worth your while every single time)
BUT. When he finally fucking retires, and gets a ranch, and breaths air not tinged with the smells of death, cigarettes and guns for the first time in however many years, and maybe drinks some fucking water, he takes you out on a date. He fumbles through the entire thing, panics because he thinks he blew it, still manages to get you home, gets ridden for the first time in like 6 years, and can't walk straight for an entire day and stammers every time someone asks him why.
JAVIER GUTIERREZ
Javi G loves it. He loves watching you. Gets all puppy dog wide eyed (remember the pool scene face??? Thats it.) and you have to really focus because his look of straight up wonder and awe and bright eyed eagerness makes you want to cry. He's panting like he's running a marathon, running his big hands EVERYWHERE he can reach. He makes you feel worshipped and adored and so very very loved. Thanks you after. For being so amazing, and so wonderful to him, and thanks the universe that he found you. Cause he's sap. You definitely cry after.
JOEL MILLER
(Watch me be controversial again) Joel is fucking tired okay? He has old man bones and creaky joints and his back is achy. Patrol was agony, Jesse wouldn't shut up the entire time, and Tommy was giving him shit, and he has no energy to drill anyone into the mattress (as much as we all want him to). He's just plain tired. He likes you on top. Likes it slow (like a roast chicken on a sunday slow). Enjoys the gradual build up, likes to lean back, watch with half open eyes as you take your time. Wants to indulge in something beautiful at the end of the world, and that something is you. He makes sexy grunting noises, mutters a whole lot of praise ~and filth~ and just y'know. Savours it. 🫠🫠🫠 savours you. 🫠
DIETER BRAVO
Dieter is a maniac. (Leave him alone he has adhd!!) He can't still still for the life of him so you best believe he changes positions 6 times and the only way you're getting to ride is if you're also putting some weight elsewhere. To hold him down! You squeeze his neck once and he MELTS. INSTANTLY. Loses all sense. Starts babbling and whimpering and making extremely pathetic noises. Will definitely buck up and whine. PRAISES YOU. BEGGING. LOUD NOISES.
MAX PHILLIPS
Max is a heathen. He just likes watching you bounce. That's it. That's the post :p
MARCUS PIKE
Marcus P is a romantic. He will be doing the whole "lean forward and try to get kisses in between" while also "moaning and maintaining eye contact" and he's holding you so tight , squeezing your sides and also muttering declarations of love. About how he wants a life with you, and a family, and a home, and a future. How he's going to "make you so happy baby, I promise I will, I swear to you". Doesn't let you off for from on top of him for atleast a half hour after; kissing all over your face and rubbing your back and petting your hair "I meant all of it sweetheart. I want all of you." shsbzgwgsvsg ilovehimsomuch and I've only ever seen gifsets of this man what is wrong with me
MARCUS MORENO
Marcus M is A MENACE. He wears his stupid glasses, and has his stupid shirt off, while he does stupid taxes/meeting plans in bed. You keep throwing side glances and getting increasingly wound up and he just has this gentle smirk but he's mostly ignoring you. You sidle up to him and maybe start kissing his jaw, laying gentle pecks down his neck, and he's still fukcungh working "Baby. I need to finish this. I'm sorry, you need to wait." But that smirk is still there and it's driving you crazy and maybe you keep kissing until you reach his *coughs* and then you're working on getting him interested. You can still hear the fucking pen scratching though and so you go deeper, and he raises an eyebrow. "be good now honey" You're settling in his lap and he has you sitting there until he has finished his paperwork with you whimpering and trying not to squirm because you want to be good you really do and you know he'll make it so much better but he feels so good and when he's finally finally done you get to move but you're so wound up you can't pull yourself together enough to find a rhythm and you're nearly in tears and he has to grip your sides and murmur instructions in your ear and help you until you're satisfied and just when you think he's done, and about to flip you over, he adjusts his grip and starts moving from underneath you until you're crying and he's finished ~which doesnt happen until you've come 2 more times~
DAVE YORK
Dave. Oh my gosh Dave. Dave is a strict dom if ever there was one. With him it's a punishment. He'll tell you to hold off until he's done which is freaking impossible with how deep he gets, and how he likes to warm up his hands on your butt while you're trying desperately to hold onto that last thread of control. He is muttering absolute filth, holding your arms behind your back with one hand while the other is either laying smack after smack or rubbing you furiously all the while he's got the smuggest look. "Don't you dare baby. Be a good girl now. Listen and obey for once". But you can't because he's not fair and he knows it. And when you do finally fall apart he's clenching his teeth trying to hold back himself and his hands are holding you up as you gasp his name like it's the only word you know. He's running his hands down your back and kissing you softly and helping you catch your breath and when you finally get your heart to stop pounding and look up at him, he's watching you with this dangerously soft smile and he goes "oh you're in for it now aren't you honey?" and kisses your forehead while you try not to whimper.
FRANKIE MORALES
Frankie is a soft boy. He loves it. Craves it. He loves giving up control. Wants you to tie him up and have your way until he has no thoughts left in that pretty little head. He is swearing like an absolute sailor the entire time, calling you ma'am, begging to be released so he can kiss you and touch you, absolutely nearly breaks the head board once he was so desperate. Wants to be edged but also is the biggest WIMP about it. Will pout and swear and beg and plead but then want you to deny him again. Will definitely be mumbling absolute nonsense once you're done. Needs all the aftercare. Blushes pink when he gets it. Wraps himself around you like a HUGE koala bear after. ~and returns the edging favour 3 times over when he gets in his Captain Francisco Morales Mood~
JACK DANIELS
BONUS TWO I KNOW NOTHING ABOUT and tumblr won't let me put gifs for:
Jack makes every single cowboy joke known to man. You have to put your hand on his mouth to get him to shut the hell up. His eyes get all glassy when you do. He puts his hat on top of your head and busies himself in your neck (dual benefits: A. He shuts up and B. HICKIES) will definitely drag you on top of him in his Bronco (he likes to show off) will pull up on the side of the road almost 70% of the times you drive together. Bites you over your clothes. Loves the way you grab desperately at this leather jacket. Definitely makes you bend over and 'clean up the mess sugar' before driving like the hounds of hell are after him all the way back home and doing it all over again because "we gotta make you a mama now love"
PERO TOVAR
Pero got married after he came back and retired as a sell sword. His wife is a soft but sassy thing who's a little (read: not at all, she returns his snark twice over) intimidated by him but also thinks he's a good man because he saved her village from raiders. She has seen him grumble and snark at but then also share his food with the orphans who works at the village inn. She's inexperienced (let me live my victorian life) and he doesn't really think he deserves her but also he's not so much an idiot to say no to someone like her. She's the village "healer" and he met her when he got stabbed by one of the raiders (arm wound: not serious.) He has to teach her. She gets shy and flustered, which is a total 180 from her sassy self, and Pero loves it. She makes the most amazing sounds that have him thinking that maybe he did something right in his life to end up in her arms. She wants to please her new husband and asks her married friends for advice and they tell her about this new position. So she asks him, stuttering and tripping over words, if she could try something she heard about? From a friend? She straddles him and Pero loses his mind. He's closing his eyes and clenching his jaw so hard and she's whimpering in the most DELICIOUS way and he's trying so hard to hold back and let her take her pace and she's so worried "am I not doing it right?" Pero has to take 3 deep breaths before he's centred enough to answer and then he helps her. Puts his hands on her hips to guide her. Puts one of her hands on his shoulder "steady now pequenita" and puts the other low on her belly and presses in so she can feel him. Loves the way she cries out. Bends forward to leave little marks everywhere he can reach. She's scrambling at his chest, leaving nail marks he loves, and finally grabbing his hair and pulling until he groans. And when they're both done and sated and sweaty he kisses her, looks her in the eye and winks. "I'm going to have to go thank your friend now, mi esposa."
DIN DJARIN
Din and you dont have time. The razor crest is finally in hyperspace, you got shot at for the 50th time in 2 weeks, (because Murphys Law seems to be the only law Mando never breaks), you're exhausted, sweaty, and the giggly green monster of chaos only made you chase him down from the top of a weapons cabinet twice before he finally decided to take a nap. You're frustrated, and in desperate need of a shower, and a nap, but also you can't get the image of Mando fighting out of your head. Before you know it, the hormones have taken over and you're attacking him in the pilot seat. The bucket is off (I refuse to look at my own reflection in the tin cans helmet while we do the do), he's got you arching into him, your shirt is half torn from the top because Din refuses to wait for "so many fucking buttons Meshla" the gloved hand is squeezing the back of your neck, his mouth is on your chest, his other hand (you only managed to get one glove off) is splayed out on your back. You're riding him like you're trying to break him and his thigh holster? thing (do i look like i can figure out what they're called?) is digging marks into your skin but you're too turned on to care. It's frantic, it's messy, you're PRAYING the tiny green menace stays asleep as you do your best to muffle your sounds. The refresher isn't big enough for a round two, (you still do your best), and your legs feel like jelly, when you finally pass out; curled up on top of the human space heater while he hums Mando'a in your ear.

Drabble request: Astarion having to work through the logistics of kissing his much shorter lover (like a gnome or halfling)
Astarion x GN! Short reader
Fluff, silly, slightly ooc, mostly SFW - referenced past bedding together. NO BETA and very lazy proof reading.
-------
This relationship with Astarion was admittedly off to a strange start.
In the beginning, the vampire seemed to avoid you, his behavior uncertain whenever he was around you. He wasn’t necessarily shy, not exactly — but more so because he didn’t know how to behave around you…
Because you’re short.
More often than not you would find his eyes on you, and you thought that he might be sizing you up. Although you were strong, many thought you would go down easily based on your height. A judgment that would always end in their demise.
However, then the comments began.
“Such an adorable little creature, I wish I could put you in my pocket.”
“You know, you’re at the perfect height to— Hm, Nevermind.”
“Have you ever slept with someone taller than you? … Would you care to try it?”
And then you slept together.
Maybe it was after defeating an entire army of goblins, or maybe it was this building tension between you, but you were pulled together so quickly that you never had the time to figure out what this relationship was.
And ever since that first night… Astarion has been making excuses to kiss you, and it was always in the form of dropping something next to you.
Walking through the cities, hiking over a mountain, in the middle of battle, Astarion would ‘accidentally’ drop something next to you and take the opportunity to kiss you.
“Shit.”
Astarion stood next to your bedding, having just dropped a comb onto the ground next to you.
“Oh my. How embarrassing.”
Then he bent down, reaching for the comb but his gaze focused on you. He smiled, leaning close to you, his lips glossy and tempting—
“Well, I suppose while I’m down here…. I could kiss you.”
The kisses were always soft, filled with so much tenderness that you never expected with such a creature. A slight brush of his tongue over your lips, teasing you, daring you to deepen the kiss and take it even further.
‘Astarion.’
You place your hand against his chest, gently pushing him back.
‘You don’t have to keep dropping things to kiss me.’
Astarion narrowed his eyes at you, a slow creeping of blush blooming on his cheeks.
“Don’t be ridiculous. I’m just clumsy is all.”
‘Are you saying you don’t want to kiss me then?’
He sighed before dropping himself next to you and kicking his legs out in front of himself.
“No. That’s not what I’m saying at all, darling.”
Astarion chucked to himself, shaking his head as he did.
“I wasn’t sure what this was. Us. Together.”
‘I like you.’
He straightened up, clearing his throat and blushing even harder now at your blunt confession.
“Do you now? Well… in that case we could try being together.”
‘I would like that.’
“A good thing too, I was running out of things to drop. I was going to start making excuses with needing to tie my shoes…”
You both look down to his boots as he rotates them side to side in front of himself, and you can’t help but laugh.
‘Astarion, you boots have no laces.’
“Exactly. That would have been very embarrassing…”

Gilded Constellations | (wolfstar x reader)
Series Masterlist | Previous episode
Pairing: Wolfstar x Reader Word Count: 8.2 K Warnings: angst Prompt: After fighting some of those deamons, will the rest of Vixen's issues be resolved? Is there a way to be happy even without the boys? This IS a Wolfstar x reader fic, but it's incredibly slow burn. They won't start all dating each other until we're very deep into the story, but I promise the long wait will be worth it.Proofread by Lovely @aremuslupinsimp
You leaned down and took one of the Mirror shreds in your hands. Depending on where you moved it, you could see reflections from all the things you’d seen inside: Sirius crying, Remus desperate, your father crying for your mother, and you crying for Nina. You being dropped from your father’s arms and several other moments. You sighed, placed the shred in your bag, and walked towards the clock. If you had one of the parts, then not even the most expert reparo, and neither would all the king’s men, put Riapsed together again.
When you crossed over to the other vault, you took the three keys on the face of the clock and placed them in your bag alongside all the money you’d already taken. You gave one long look to the vault, at the books lying on the floor and at the harp singing its sorrowful song in the back. You didn’t understand why your father had created the riddle for you. You didn’t understand why he kept making things harder, but in the end, it didn’t matter.
Not as long as you didn’t follow the same steps he would, not as long as you made the choices he would scorn.
You walked outside of the vault, the goblin, Tharnock, was waiting patiently there for you. Your little odyssey through memory lane had eaten up about 2 hours, and you had to get out before people knew you were there, or before Thernock realised how weird the entire thing had been for him.
“Are you finished, Miss?”
You nodded, “Yes, thank you.”
Tharnock walked you back to the minecart and you were both back in the main hall in a matter of minutes. The goblin gave you the key as you walked past the golden gates, he went back to his desk and you walked the hell away from the bank. Once outside, you used the hairpin to blend within the crowd and walked towards a less transited street.
You still hadn’t eaten at all over the weekend. But the strong emotions revolting inside you didn’t make you want to go and buy something either. You checked the clock and decided it was about time to raise your wand. The knight bus appeared a couple of minutes later.
“Where to, Lassie?” the same pudgy guy that had picked Beth and Tom asked.
“Hogsmeade,” you replied.
“Hot chocolate?”
You contemplated the idea for a second. You had tried to drink the hot chocolate before and you didn’t like the idea of getting it all over yourself again, although it was quite tasty. “No thank you,” you said in the end.
“That’ll be 11 Sickles then.” You paid with a galleon. “No change, Lass?”
“Sorry, no.”
He grumbled something about people never carrying change and then handed you 6 sickles. One of them was sticky and you tried not to make a disgusted face as you wiped it on your jeans and walked into one of the few available seats. The trip wasn’t too long, but by the time you were in Hogsmeade, you wanted to puke.
“Thanks for using the Knight Bus, come back soon!” The guy said as you and a few other students you didn’t recognise got down from the train. It was cold outside, and you walked straight towards Honeydukes.
The train had arrived at Hogwarts about an hour before and plenty of students roamed around Hogsmeade, making some last-minute purchases and stocking up on candies and such. They all looked happy and carefree. You had been like that before, you sorrowfully wondered if you’d ever get to smile that big.
There was a couple kissing in the Alley behind the Three Broomsticks, and you flinched when you noticed the way the guy was holding her. It was a thing Sirius used to do all the time. You looked at them for more than would have seen appropriate, took a deep breath and continued walking.
“Hey, Starkeeper!” You heard someone calling from behind. Funny he called you that, you hadn’t been particularly good at keeping your star.
He ran up to you and stopped right in front of you with a frown. He looked all over your face. “Sorry, I thought you were…” You took off the hairpin, and Minho looked at you in shock. “I knew it was you!” he whispered-shouted as he leaned closer, placing an arm over your shoulder and covering as much of you as he could with his chest. “Why are you hiding, is it because of Christmas?”
“Nice to see you, Min” you said with a small smile. You were genuinely happy about not being alone. “Tom– Tom told you about Christmas?”
“No?” he asked, confused. “My parents did. They had been invited to the party, Arkalis is Dad’s coworker, but we were travelling back to Korea to visit our family for Christmas. Mum feels terrible about not going, they were told everything that happened, she wished she could have helped you.”
“Oh,” you said as you took a deep breath. You knew Minho’s parents worked in politics, his father was an ambassador from the Korean Ministry of Magic (KMM), but you’d also heard that in Asia there wasn’t as much prejudice against muggles as there was in England. In fact, much like the Americans, they didn’t have a derogatory term for them, but rather they called the 비마법사 or 비마법 for short, which basically translates to non-wizard or non-wiz. And there was no such term as Muggle-born either, a wizard was a wizard, that simple.
Obviously, Minho had been in shock when he found out such a term existed and that’s why he was such good friends with the Gryffindors and Hufflepuffs, he just didn’t understand the whole bIood purity bias some of the Slytherins insisted on, not even if he was also a pure bIood. Unfortunately, even if the KMM considered all wizards wizards, they did not see different sexual preferences as openly as the Eastern part of the world did. In fact, they deemed homosexuality as a “European deviation” even if it had existed in Asia for the same amount of time. Of course, Minho was horrified at the idea of being outed.
“Yeah,” he continued. “They think what you did was insanely brave. They were talking about you at breakfast. They recognised you as the Gryffindor seeker and I had to tell them you were actually the keeper instead. They came to our match a couple of months ago, the one where you threw yourself off the broom to beat Reggie to the snitch? You know, right?” You nodded, it’s not like you could forget about that. “Anyway, they said they thought you were really determined then, but that they didn’t know just how brave you were until they heard about the party.”
You swallowed, you had been told that by adults more than once in the past few days. Brave, determined, and you might have been all those things, but you were also alone now. Your bravery had charged a hefty price in return. Minho noticed you were upset, and he leaned a little closer, cocking his head as he looked at you. “Have you eaten? I’m going to meet Tom at The Three Broomsticks.”
You opened your mouth to respond, and then closed it again, shaking your head in response. You were pretty sure mentioning to Minho –Mr. Healthy– of all people that you hadn’t eaten since Friday would have you listening to a very long talk about the importance of food and how it fuels your body and whatnot.
“So it’s my treat then,” Minho said as he pushed you along with him. “For saving the world!” You were about to argue. “Don’t even think about it, young lady,” he retorted.
Minho had gotten a lot bossier since he started dating Tom. You sighed and didn’t argue further, which had him throw a weary glance at you. You almost always sassed him back in some way or another. By the time the two of you arrived at the restaurant, Tom was already sitting on one of the tables with two butterbeers ordered.
“Slysprite!” he said once he spotted you, and leaned in to pull you into a hug. He also gave an awkward hug to Minho, as if both wanted to stay together for longer but knew it wouldn’t be appropriate to do it in public. Tom waited for you to sit down and handed you his jug of butterbeer. He looked at you patiently as you took a big gulp. You were about to ask Minho if he could buy you something heavier when Tom spoke again, “What’s wrong?”
“Nothing’s wrong.”
Tom gave you a look. “Sirius and Remus were whispering to each other the entire train ride, James was clearly angry about it and you were nowhere to be seen. In fact, I’d dare say you left since the party on Friday. Effie said something about you feeling sick, but I didn’t buy shit. What happened?”
“Tom,” Minho said in a warning tone.
“Nope,” the blue-eyed boy said with a hand finger up as if to tell Minho not to meddle. “What happened?” he insisted.
You sighed and raised the butterbeer with your hand. “Do you have some real alcohol?”
“Minho, babe?” he said with a small pout, Minho threw him a look, but Tom called most people babe anyway. Even if Minho knew his was special. “Would you be a darling and bring this kind lady some whiskey?”
“She hasn’t eaten, Tom.”
“But she surely had breakfast, right?” You didn’t respond, only raised one of your eyebrows at him. “See, go get her some.”
Minho stood up and walked towards the bar, he was the only one old enough to buy Fire Whiskey, and he got two glasses since he knew Tom would want some, and he’d drink a bit from his glass. He also ordered fries and a dish to share.
“You look like shit,” Tom said.
“Well, thank you,” you responded and took a sip from the butterbeer, they had never felt bitter to you before, and yet this time it was almost hard to swallow the foamyness of it.
“I mean, why the hell did you leave the Potters’? Do you know how dangerous that is?”
“I’ve almost diеd plenty of times in the last couple of days,” not to mention the last couple of hours, you thought. “I had to leave.”
“Why?”
“Because!”
Minho arrived with the drinks and handed you the glass, you thanked him and dragged it to your mouth, drinking the double whiskey he’d ordered in one swing. Minho, who had barely let go of it, took hold of it again and pulled it from your mouth, as he placed the food on the centre of the table. He was sitting beside you now, using his body to cover your face from most of the restaurant “Ey, Ey!” He said. “What’s wrong?” He looked at you with genuine concern, both boys did, which only made you feel even worse.
You looked at them for a second and then turned to Minho with the hopes of changing the subject. “Tell me about your Christmas, Min. Did you see all your cousins?”
The boy sighed and turned to Tom for help. Minho would have probably responded and would have distracted you from everything that was going on, but Tom was more of the “no-nonsense” kind of guy. He looked at Minho sternly and shook his head slowly. Minho frowned at him in return, as if it pained him not to comply.
“Slysprite!” Tom chided. “You just downed a glass of Firewhisky like it was water, your face tells me you’ve slept like shit and Sirius and Remus are just as bad as you. James looks exasperated and I’m sorry to be the one to knock some sense into you, but you look like you bought a liquor store and drank it.”
“I’m not drunk.” That was true, the entire Gringotts adventure had been enough to sober you up.
“It’s not what I mean,” Tom responded pointedly. “You know it’s not what I mean.”
“I’ve had quite a fucking day, Tom.”
“Well then, go on and tell us about it. What the fuck is wrong with the boys?”
You sighed, if you didn’t say it then it wasn’t real. And yet you would say it now. “I broke up with Sirius.”
“What did he do?” Minho asked.
“Why does everyone assume it was he that did something?”
“Because it’s Sirius Black,” Tom responded. “If not then, why? You look miserable about it, so it’s not because you didn’t want to be with him.”
“Of course, it isn’t,” you said as you hid your head in between your arms and let out a sad groan.
“Then?”
“You can’t tell anyone.”
“Well, we’re both great at keeping secrets,” Minho said, and you turned to him with an incredulous look.
“That was an accident!”
“I’ll put a tongue twister spell on him after, you cool with that, babe?”
“For sure.”
You sighed, “It’s not because of what he did, it’s because of what he wouldn’t have done.”
“Which is?”
“Date Remus.”
Both boys eyed each other confused before turning to you again, your head was buried in between your arms, and you didn’t say a word.
“What?” Tom asked with a frown.
“I accidentally bumped into Remus jerking off to Sirius’ name…”
“Well, we’ve all jerked off to Sirius’ name,” Tom said as if it was a non-issue. Minho was about to protest, but after thinking about it for a second longer, he remembered he too had done it.
You threw him an exasperated look, “Maybe, but you don’t look at Sirius the way Remus does.”
Tom closed his mouth. Minho just frowned as he looked at you. What about the way he looks at you? he wondered.
“And then I felt like shit because Remus is my best friend and he likes Sirius and I was in the middle of that and–”
“But Sirius likes you,” Tom interrupted. “I’ve never seen him like anyone in the way he likes you.”
“Which is why he would have suffered in silence,” you added. “He likes Remus too,” you sighed. “After I found out, I paid closer attention. I was so bIoody blinded by his beautiful eyes, long lashes and prince-like looks. I was not looking at the way he always veered closer to Remus. Heck, I took a fucking picture of the two of them cuddling each other because I thought it was cute once I slept with them.”
“You… slept with Remus and Sirius at the same time?” Miho asked, confused.
“What? No! We were cuddling not shagging,” you said as if it made it more normal. “Anyway, I totally get it. I mean, Remus is tall and handsome and has those beautiful eyes of his that are always a different colour. He’s clever and brilliant and good at all the classes he takes, but also gentle and kind, not to mention he’s fucking ripped… I cannot blame Sirius for falling for him. And of course, I could never blame Rem for liking Sirius, I’m on the same fucking boat.”
Tom was looking at your problem, and all he could see was the solution and a very interesting one at that. But he wasn’t just outright going to say it, he had to allow you to discover it yourself. “And do tell, Slysprite, what else is there to like about Remus Lupin?” He asked sceptically. Minho looked at him with a frown and Tom gave him a reassuring nod.
“What else?” you asked in disbelief. “What isn’t to like about Remus? You know he is perceptive as fuck? He knew I was feeling down and helped me feel better, he’d met me a fucking week ago. He’s always three steps ahead of you, I swear I can never beat him on magic chess, he’s a brilliant duelist, and incredible at DADA. He knows the best book recommendations and he speaks so softly when he reads to you. When–” you hesitated. “When Nina and Mum diеd he was there to comfort me. He didn’t ask questions, he just hugged me and listened, he’d such an incredible listener. He can be moody sometimes but that just adds to how charming he is and I– I mean… he’s the best friend I could have ever asked for, I could not imagine how incredible he would be as a partner. Sirius will be lucky to have him. Anyone would.”
“Aha,” Tom said as he nodded and looked at you.
“What?”
Tom shrugged, “Nothing,” he said. “It just sounds to me that… you like him as well.”
You looked at Tom, your back straightened for a second as you pulled back, and you let out a hollow breath, then you gulped. If it hadn’t been for the dire situation you were in, Tom would have taken a picture of how hilariously dumbfounded you looked.
You groaned and buried your head in between your arms again. “Thanks, Tom! Way to make me more fucking miserable!” you mumbled.
Another thing you had been too blind to see. Fucking Ricchie had been saying that for ages, Reflection Nina had also mentioned something similar. The fox surrounded by the moon and stars? The lady at the three broomsticks? Symbolism was everywhere. Heck, you kept stealing his fucking sweaters because you loved the way they smelled.
“More miserable?” Tom scoffed a laugh. “Darling this is the best thing that could have happened to you!”
“How?!” You asked, turning back at him, tone angry and bitter.
“Well, simple: Sirius likes you and Remus, You like Remus and Sirius, Remus likes Sirius and you. It’s a throuple.”
“Remus doesn’t like me!”
“Oh, he does,” Minho said casually.
“What?” You asked as you turned to him, he seemed so sure about it.
“I’ve seen those loving eyes of Remus before, he’s smitten.”
“But that’s–” Impossible!
Is it? Really?
Remus had always been there for you. You remembered his worried expression when he found you on the snow, the hesitance by which he touched you, the way he looked at you back at the Halloween party, the way he would complain about you taking his sweaters but would always wear them after he got them back, when they still smelled of you.
The way he blushed when you teased him about Alice, how he always seemed slightly disconnected when talking about her, or sex, for that matter, with you. If he thought of you as a friend, and only as a friend, would he be uncomfortable over it? Had James ever been?
“Oh,” you said as realisation hit you. “Oh,” you said again when you realised how fucking miserable you had made them both. Of course, Remus would never go for Sirius, not if he loved you as well, it was the fucking reason you had –stupidly– broken up with Sirius in the first place. “I’ve been an idiot!”
“There it is,” Tom said with a satisfied nod and got head slapped by Minho who was a lot more comprehensive over your struggling feelings.
“Tom, you’re brilliant,” you said as you stood up from the chair and planted a kiss on his cheek. “I owe you big time, we all do!” you said thinking of your boys. Yes, your boys. Didn’t that sound delightful?”
“What are you going to do?” Minho asked.
“Find them,” you said matter of factly. “Find them and talk to them.”
“That’s the spirit,” Tom cheered and took out some parchment from his bag as the door shut behind you.
“What are you doing?” Minho asked him as he leaned over the paper.
“Writing Beth,” he said. “I think I won the bet.”
“What bet?”
“The one about those three having a very intense threesome,” Tom said casually and got another head slap from Minho.
“Oi,” he complained and pushed him playfully. Not that it did anything to Minho, Tom had always been smaller.
“Don’t bet on peoples’ feelings!” Minho chided.
“What about yours?”
“What about mine?”
“Can I bet on the feelings you have for me?” Tom asked almost in a whisper as he leaned closer to his boyfriend. He had a small smirk when he leaned back, it growing wider when he noticed the tip of Minho’s ears reddening.
“You’re such an idiot,” Minho said as he covered his face with his palms, maybe then it would be less evident how blushed he’d become.
Tom just smiled and patted him on the back, “That makes you a bigger idiot since you fell for me.”
You ran through Hogsmeade and used a disillusionment charm to walk through the back door and into the cellar. From there you climbed down the hatch and almost bumped into James as you turned to walk.
“Vixen?” he asked. He couldn’t see you at all. “Did you get an invisibility cloak or something?”
“What?” you asked, confused. “Finite incantatem,” you said and looked at him with a frown.
“It was a disillusionment charm? I couldn’t see you at all.”
“Maybe you should get your eyes checked,” you said as you leaned closer to Prongs and took his glasses from his face.
It was like you were surging with energy now, excitement and a bit of nervousness buzzing through your very atoms as you thought of being able to kiss Sirius again, of never having to stop. As you thought of how soft Remus’s lips would be on yours, how happy it would make him to know that he could have what he wanted without hurting anyone at all.
“Are you okay?” James asked, concerned. You looked nothing like what you’d sounded through the earrings.
“Totally!” you replied. “Do you know where Sirius and Remus are?”
“Well, I’m not sure… I think Slughorn wanted to talk with Remus about some potion he’s been working on with a student and he went there. Sirius…? I have no idea.”
“Do you have the map?” you asked. James shook his head and you handed back his glasses. “These seem all right to me,” you said with a shrug.
“Moony must have it,” he added, still confused.
“Oh, that’s excellent, I need to go to the dungeons then,” you said and turned around to speed off, but James caught up to you and pulled you to turn to him.
He was looking at you with concern. “Are you okay?” he asked solemnly, both hands on your shoulders as he stared at you attentively.
You were almost dragged back to reality by his question. Bad things still happened around you, dark and sad, and life-threatening things. You were still upset about what happened, but you weren’t hopeless anymore. There was light at the end of the tunnel and the fact that you wouldn’t be alone as you faced all of it was as comforting as it was thrilling. Your boys, you’d get to see your boys.
“Yeah,” you said with a small smile as you nodded. “I’m going to fix things.”
“The thing with Remus and Sirius?”
“Exactly that,” you added with a smile, James’ concern slowly turned into a small grin.
“You’re telling me you found a way to have them stop being all moody?”
“If the plan works,” you said with a shrug.
“You seem confident.”
“It’s a good plan,” you retorted. James nodded and you turned around again.
“Hey, Vix!” He said again.
“Yeah?” you asked as you turned around. James smiled from how excited you seemed, and then turned to his bag, throwing the cloak at you.
“Take this, might be useful.”
“And you?”
“I’ll disillusion myself to get out and walk back to the castle,” then he cocked his head to the side and bit his lip. “I heard Evans is going to be at Hogsmeade before dinner.”
You smiled, “Good luck!”
“You too.”
You took off again, the cloak in your hands and your small, expansion charm bag bumping against your hip as you rushed through the passage. It hadn’t been many times that you’d taken the HoneyDukes way to the castle, but it was narrower and somehow less moist than the one on the Shack.
You arrived at the one-eyed witch statue, took the cloak and wrapped it around yourself before speeding all the way to the dungeons. You stopped just outside the potions classroom. You could hear Slughorn’s voice from the door.
“So, would you be interested in taking the potion for a test?”
“You said Belby worked on this?” Remus asked.
“Yeah, I believe he collaborated with someone too, but that person didn’t want to take any of the credit. They made some kind of deal, I believe.”
“Okay,” Remus said as he took the potion in his hands and nodded. “I’ll tell you how it went next month.”
“Very well, I’d like to get all your thoughts on a paper so I can hand those to Dacmocles. You may change your handwriting or use a Quick-Quotes quill, I believe Professor McGonagall has one and will gladly lend it to you.” Remus seemed hesitant after that. “Of course, both you and your partner will get extra points for your work. Not that you need much of those.”
“Right, yes,” Remus said, trying not to grimace when the thought of you, still alone, Godric knows where, came crawling into his mind. “I’ll write the paper.”
“Brilliant!” the professor retorted and went back to check the papers on his table, which prompted Remus to exit the room with a simple nod. You smiled as you saw him pass by you, determined to get somewhere as he pulled a very familiar parchment from his sweater, and walked towards one of the secret passages you used all the time.
You walked right behind him and watched as he swore over the map and used Lumos to see the words that slowly appeared on the parchment.
“Who are you looking for?” You asked, leaning just behind him and looking at the map just from the side of his shoulder.
Remus almost jumped out of his skin, turning completely when he heard your voice, his shoulder accidentally hitting your chin since you didn’t have enough time to pull back. He didn’t notice though, too shocked about you literally appearing out of nowhere.
“Where the hell have you been?” He asked as he placed both of his hands over your shoulders and inspected your face thoroughly, trying to check if you’d been hurt.
Yeah, it could have been hell, you thought.
“We should talk.”
“I was so worried, we all were, you shouldn’t have left like that!” Remus responded, completely ignoring your words and pulling you into a bone-crushing hug. Remus was scared you would push him away, he was terrified it was the last hug he gave you so he squeezed.
“I thought I had to,” you said honestly. “You like Sirius.”
Remus pulled back, “Starshine, I don’t know how you got that idea into your head but–”
“It wasn’t a question.”
“Would you let me speak?! I’m telling you, that’s ridiculous, not because I like boys does it mean–”
“Remus,” you said a little more sternly. “You don’t have to lie to me.”
“Why aren’t you bIoody listening?” He repeated, exasperated, you saw the flash of gold in his eyes. Even then, you thought it was charming. “It’s ridiculous that you think I would–”
“I don’t blame you, I like him too.”
“For Godric’s sake! I said I don’t–”
“I saw you that night, with the coat,” you rushed out before he had time to protest again.
Remus’ frown deepened. The night with the coat? He wondered, and then the images came to him, and he paled. “Whatever you thought you heard–”
“You jerking off to my boyfriend’s name, you mean?” You asked with a knowing smile. Remus was utterly dumbfounded, you weren’t half as pissed as he expected you to be. Heck, you seemed diverted.
“Is this funny to you?” Remus asked, face cold and tears welling up in his eyes.
You instantly felt terrible for the way in which you’d said it. “NO! No, of course not,” you said and took a deep breath. “I was–” you bit your lip. “When I found out I was shocked– and pissed, because I hadn’t seen it before, because it was obvious that Sirius and I being together was hurting you and–”
“It is not hurting me!” Remus defended. “You and Sirius are meant for each other and–”
“So are you and him,” you said more calmly. “Perhaps more than me and him…”
“That’s bullshit, he loves you, you know that.”
You smiled again, that knowing sort of smile Remus couldn’t quite place, “He loves you too, you know?”
Remus clenched his jaw as a frustrated exhale escaped through his nose. How ever could he respond to that? He hated this, he hated having caused you so much pain, because he was stupid and horny due to the moon and because he quite literally couldn’t keep it in his pants and because he was an idiot and–
“Remus,” you called his attention, driving him away from his destructive thoughts. “Do you like me too?” He turned to you even more shocked at your question. His face was one of anguish and despair as if he didn’t know what to say, or how to respond to such a question. “Be honest,” you added, calmly.
Remus shook his head with tears in his eyes.
“Would you take veritaserum and deny it again?”
“Are my words not enough?”
“You didn’t even speak. And they weren’t enough for you when I told you I wasn’t afraid, nor were they when I told you I thought you were beautiful.”
Remus swallowed, “Even if I did–” You were biting your lips to stop yourself from smiling. “Even if I did, it wouldn’t matter, would it? You need to go to Sirius and–”
“Remus, I like you too,” you blurted out. “I don’t how I was so stupid not to realise it before. I mean the potion at the Slug Party, the way I cuddle with you, the way I’m always happy when you’re around. The way you make me laugh, the way you smell.” You had to take in some air from how fast you were speaking. “I was blind, completely blinded by Sirius to see–”
“Do you not like Sirius anymore?” Remus asked, almost reproachingly.
You laughed, “Of course, I like him still! He might be the love of my life, but we’re all a bunch of idiots, that’s what we are!”
“Little Witch, I don’t think I’m following,” he responded confused.
You took his head in both of his hands. “You beautiful, self-sacrificing idiot,” you said then. Remus wanted to retort with you being much worse than he was, but he wanted to see what the hell you meant by that more. You licked your lips, enticed to kiss his own, but you knew you had to talk to Sirius about it first. “Don’t you see? We’re all pinning for each other, mutually.”
He didn’t speak, so you took that as a sign to continue, “You like me and Sirius, I like you and Sirius and Sirius liked the both of us.”
“You’re saying–” he stammered, “you’re saying you want us all to be together?”
“Well, wouldn’t that be the only natural solution? We were already together all the time–”
“I don’t know about natural,” he muttered, you smiled.
“The only difference would be that you could act on your desires and Sirius could act on his. Wouldn’t that make you happy?”
“Would it make you happy?”
“It would make me ecstatic!” you replied with a smile. “And I’m sure Sirius even more so, he’s been pining for you while being with me, he must have felt terribly guilty about it, but he never had to be. Besides, it’s not like it’s the first time three people have fallen in love with each other.”
“It’s a love triangle,” Remus huffed a laugh as he rolled his eyes.
“But none of us has to be alone in the end,” you added with a smile, as you bit your lip, and then pressed a kiss to his cheek, right next to the spot your thumb had been resting on. Remus’ smile only widened and he leaned in to kiss you, but you turned your head before your lips clashed with each other.
You didn’t miss the hurt look on his handsome features and you pulled him into a hug. “I’m sorry,” you said, voice muffled by his shirt. “You don’t know how much I wanted you to do that, but we need to speak to Sirius first. No more lies, we all need to be honest with each other this time around.”
“Sirius is gonna flip out when we tell him,” he muttered into your head. “He’s been sulking over being an idiot for falling in love with me since you left.”
“Then we’re both idiots,” you said with a small smile, still hugging Remus tightly. “Did you guys figure each other out?”
Remus pulled back with a sceptical look. “Did you really think if you left, we were just going to start dating?”
“You didn’t?”
“Of course not!” he replied. “We were both upset, you left with no wand and alone! Nobody knew where you’d gone to, let alone if you were safe wherever you’d been and you were breaking apart because of Christmas. Sirius was drowning in guilt and to be honest, I wasn’t much better. We would have never been happy if we thought you were upset.”
You bit your lip, looking down and thinking how much quicker things would have gotten solved if instead of running away, you had faced the issue head-on. If instead of leaving, you had brought Remus to the kitchen and forced him to talk things through with the two of you.
Of course, you didn’t know he liked you too then, but perhaps you wouldn’t have had to go through Gringotts alone if you had. You wouldn’t have gone through those lonely, almost desolate days in which you drowned yourself in alcohol.
“I guess it makes sense,” you said with a sad smile. “I couldn’t have continued on with Sirius if I thought it was hurting you either. Of that I was certain.”
“As if you being with Sirius hadn’t already broken half of the school’s hearts,” Remus huffed.
You looked up at him with a smile, “Perhaps, but none of those hearts belong to my best friend.”
You saw the faintest blush creep up on Remus’s cheeks, you were again tempted to pull him into a kiss, and you willed yourself to stop. Not until we talk to Sirius about it.
“We should go to him,” you said with resolution. “Where is he?” you asked as you leaned down and picked the map up from the floor.
“I was looking for you,” Remus admitted, as he leaned closer to you, helping you open the map as you held it. “I wanted to find you as soon as you got to the castle so both Sirius and I could ambush you. I was going to try and convince you I didn’t like him.”
“More lies?”
“You told Sirius you didn’t like him anymore,” he sassed back. He didn’t have to say it, you knew how hypocritical it was.
You huffed, “Maybe being in love really does make you more stupid,” you mumbled as your eyes scanned through the map. You saw Peter in the broom closet again, which made you assume he was “greeting” Annie Doxon. James was not at the castle, so he was probably still with Lily back at Hogsmeade. Some of the teachers were in their classrooms, the prefects were helping some of the first years out, or so you assumed since most of them were walking at rather random places inside the castle. The kind of which only the newer kids ended up in.
“There,” Remus said. “Gryffindor tower, he must be in our room.”
“Looks like we’ve set direction, captain,” you said with a smile.
Remus smiled, but he faltered just seconds later. “Wait! How are you?”
“Very excited about talking to Sirius.”
“I don’t mean that,” Remus reproached. “I mean about Christmas.”
You swallowed, and you took a deep breath. “I’m better,” you said honestly. “Well, at least I think I am. Kind of? Something happened in Diagon, I’ll tell both of you all about it after we’ve sorted this out, does that sound fair? One problem at a time…”
“Will you actually talk about it?”
You nodded, “I think I avoided the subject so much that it came crashing onto me like a full-speed train, but perhaps I needed that.”
Remus gave you a weary look, clearly preoccupied with what you’d said, but he was certain he wouldn’t get anything else from you if you didn’t have that “Sirius talk” first. He nodded, still biting his lip as he placed a hand behind your shoulders and pushed you right in front of him, towards Gryffindor Tower.
It was almost as if going through that first time you met him, when he took you to the passages so you didn’t get busted for being out late. You smiled as you walked, and at some point pulled out Nina’s wand to get some more light out.
“Lumos,” you whispered. The light was blinding enough to illuminate the entire place before you managed to dim it.
“What the– you bought a new wand?” Remus asked.
You turned to him and showed him Nina’s. “Olivander refused to sell one to me, he said this one was meant to be mine.”
“It’s…” he hesitated, he wasn’t sure he wanted to say her name. Every time they mentioned it you would instantly shut them out and become distant, and last time he suggested you use her wand, you were pretty clear when you told him why you didn’t want to. You didn’t want to remember everything that had happened every time you made a spell.
“Nina’s,” you finished for him. “Yeah, a lot of stuff happened in Diagon.”
He placed a reassuring hand behind your neck, he was warm, and you hadn’t quite realised how much you craved his touch until you felt the pads of his fingers brush against your skin. You leaned closer to his hand almost instantly, relaxing into his touch.
He smiled when he noticed and started playing with the hair at the nape of your neck. Remus had always known you liked being coddled, but at the same time he tried to maintain a decent distance since you were dating Sirius, but the fact that he could give you the type of solace he yearned to give, was somehow comforting to him in itself. Like that time when he found you on the snow, but without feeling terrible for betraying his best friend.
He was soft as he made his touch a little more purposeful, finding the tense muscles and pressing onto them with his warm hand, it was delightful, to say the least. “Is that okay?” he asked hesitantly.
“It’s perfect,” you said honestly. “I knew you were good at petting, I mean you were brilliant with Vixen but –yeah there– I had no clue you’d be this good with humans.”
Remus laughed at your praise to hide his blush, not that you were looking at him, your gaze was still focused ahead of you and you were carefully counting the turns, not to get lost. It was something you did often when you were inside the passages, and Remus thought the way you muttered 2 left, 1 right, straight, etc. was adorable.
“I’ve got my hidden talents. Really good with my hands,” he replied with a bit of a smirk. “I’ll show them to you one day.”
“Godric, Remus!” you said as you turned to him with a shocked scoff. “Who would have thought shy old Moony could be such a flirt?”
“Only when it matters,” he said with a smile and then squeezed both his fingers onto a knot in your neck and you almost moaned. “I wasn’t lying.”
“Show off!” you said as you rolled your eyes and swatted him playfully on the chest. This is nice, you thought. You missed being able to interact with them so casually. It was like you’d been walking on needles for too long, and suddenly you were taken to a soft meadow.
By the time you were close to the exit on the passage, you unfolded James’ cloak again, and placed it around yourself, that way you could follow Remus all the way to his room without being spotted.
“Stand close,” he said.
You refrained from teasing him over it, deciding you’d tease him mercilessly once Sirius was in on the discovery. Remus walked inside the common room, greeted some of your classmates with a simple wave, and continued walking towards his room. The path you already knew so well, you could follow in almost complete darkness. Remus was about to open the door before he turned, looking over his shoulder before muttering, “Should I go in first or–”
You disillusioned yourself and passed the cloak over his head once you made sure there was nobody else in the hall. “I’ll go in first. I should probably apologise to him,” you responded. Remus nodded. “Give me five minutes and then come inside.”
You walked in, Sirius was sitting on Remus’ bed, head down and staring at his hands as he picked on his nails and bobbed his leg up and down. He didn’t look up when he heard the door, he seemed to be lost in thought. You saw a clear tear fall over his hand, and he was quick to wipe it out with his thumb.
“Puppy?” you asked as you deactivated the charm.
He sprung from the bed in a second, his eyes were red-rimmed and he looked as bad, if not worse, than when you left him crying in James’ kitchen. “Starshine?” he asked, as he spotted you, as if he didn’t believe his eyes. And just like Remus had done, he went straight to wrap his arms around you and push you to him. “I thought I’d have to go look for you as soon as you got here. Are you okay?”
“I’m fine,” you said as you hugged him back, tightening your arms around him. “I’m so sorry,” you said then, thinking of how sad he was and how much you’d hurt him. Thinking of the moment when he’d begged you to be selfish for him and instead of complying, you’d lied and told him you didn’t love him. “I lied, I do love you! Don’t ever doubt that.”
He pulled back, looking at you as confused as Remus had been earlier, more so when he was the tears pricking your eyes, “Starshine, what are you talking about? I’m the one that fucked up, I’m the one that–”
“You asked me to be selfish for you, you told me to stop being the hero and I ignored your pleas, I only succeeded in making all of us miserable and–”
“But it was I the one who fell in love with his best friend while dating you, It was I the one that… I should be on my knees beginning for forgiveness.”
“No!” you said then. “There’s nothing to forgive! I was the idiot for leaving, not you!”
“What?” Sirius asked, even more confused, and terrified that the inch of hope you’d created wasn’t real… What if he was dreaming of you again?
“I talked to Remus,” you said then.
“Wait, you did? Are you convinced he's not into me, then?”
“Godric, no! He definitely likes you.”
“So then… why are you– you don’t seem angry about it.”
“Yeah,” you choked a laugh, cheeks wet with some tears still, but stretching into a smile. “You see there’s one thing I hadn’t realised, one thing that was the key to solving this puzzle we’ve been dancing around for months, and I wish I hadn’t been as oblivious to it, we would have spared the three of us a heartache.”
Sirius looked at you as you rambled, not sure he understood what you were going on about. It was like you discussing muggle books with Remus that he hadn’t read, he understood the words, but other than that it was like you were speaking a different language.
“And I’ve always said I’ve been so good at reading people, I was embarrassingly stupid in interpreting my own feelings, to our feelings, that I allowed myself to wallow in my own self pity, and in my own little hole of darkness, too obscure to see the bigger picture and–”
“Étoile, you’re rambling.”
You shot your mouth and looked at him with an owlish gaze, you took a deep breath, thinking of how to break it up to him. “Sirius, when you think of me kissing anyone but you, what do you feel?”
“Anyone but me?”
“Imagine me kissing Peter.”
Sirius couldn’t quite hold back the sombering of his gaze. You had analysed everything that had happened since you met them, and you had a pretty good idea of what you were about to do, if things went awry though, you weren’t sure you’d be able to withstand the heartache that would ensue.
“Why do you–”
“What if it was James? Alex? Tom?” you pressed. Sirius gave you a sorrowful look now. Were you trying to tell him how upset you’d felt over the fact that he liked Remus? It was certainly working.
“Starshine, I–”
“What if it was Marlene?” His expression was still dull, although rather curious, “Beth? Sybil? Evan?”
He cringed at the last one, “I think I get what you–”
“What about me kissing Remus?” His expression changed, you didn’t need to prickle into his mind to know what he was thinking. Although you had been tempted to try legilimency, deep down you knew it would be unfair. “I’ve done it before, remember? At Marlene’s party near the beginning of the year?”
Sirius remembered it. Of course, he did, there was no way in hell he didn’t, you had been sitting on his lap while you made out with his best friend. That day he thought that might have been the hottest thing to ever happen in his life, but he assumed it was about seeing you kiss, and imagining himself in Remus’ place, rather than seeing the both of you kissing each other. He gulped.
“Sirius, how would you feel if I kissed him?”
He didn’t know how to respond. He couldn’t tell the truth, could he? Wouldn’t that upset you further? Make you feel like the entire relationship had been a lie?
“I mean–” he stuttered, “It would–”
“Sirius,” you said softly as you pressed your hand to his cheek. “I want you to be honest, above everything else. Does that sound fair?” He didn’t respond, he only gave you a pleading look. “We’ve lied to each other and ourselves enough.”
That was like an arrow straight to the heart. Cupid, you traitorous beast, how could you do this to us? he thought as he tried to find his words again. His tongue felt stale inside his mouth, his lips were shut tight like a statue’s, it was as if he couldn’t speak, even if he wanted to.
“Would it upset you?”
“No,” he mumbled, so low it was almost inaudible. “It wouldn’t.”
You nodded, and then leaned your head to the side, searching for his downcast eyes before you said, “It wouldn’t upset me either… I mean, it wouldn’t upset me to see you kissing Remus.”
“What do you mean–”
“Remember that night I took a picture of the two of you cuddling each other? I always found it adorable.”
“I was figuring out I liked him back then…” Sirius mumbled, and you smiled.
“Well, I was never jealous. I could never be jealous of Moony,” you explained. “The fact that he liked you and you liked him was not the reason I left.”
“Then why–”
“Cause I thought I was causing the both of you pain by being in the middle, the obstacle that prevented the two of you from–”
“You could NEVER be an obstacle!” he rushed out.
“I know,” you reassured with a smile. “Do you want to know what the last piece of the puzzle was?” Sirius nodded, and you smiled. “Turns out Moony dear, did not only have a crush on you.” Sirius frowned at that, about to ask what you meant but you beat him to it. “He likes me too. He liked the both of us, from the very start.”
“Moony what?!?” He asked, shocked.
“And really, we should have seen it sooner, I mean Remus is good at keeping his secrets, but Moony with Padfoot and Vixen? He’s absolute trash at it, it was as obvious as a Sytherin trying to pass as a Gryffindor. We should have known!”
“So you’re saying that…”
“WE’RE ALL INTO EACH OTHER!”

Before the Happiness
After developing feelings for Astarion, it becomes clear to you that this is uncharted territory...and not just for you.
Pairings: Astarion x female Tav
Warnings: smut, fluff, angst, dual pov. MINORS DNI, 18+
Word Count: 4.4k
Requested: yes
A/N: Graphic made by me, I do not give permission to share it without asking.
The conversation and laughter around you had lulled to a dull roar as the night sky darkened. Sitting diagonal from Astarion at the campfire, you watched his lips move, almost in slow motion. You couldn’t focus on anything else – the rest of the party were conversing over bottles of wine that you all had found earlier in an abandoned village’s pub. Deciding to stay in the same campsite for two days as an extended rest, Karlach and Gale had the big idea of taking it easy and getting drunk – “to relax, and build morale!” Karlach had claimed.
Too bad you couldn’t take your eyes off of the fair-haired vampire across from you.
What started as an innocent crush – who could blame you, with Astarion being so cocky, and so charming, and so handsome? – quickly turned into something more. Now, you were unfortunately dealing with what you were sure was an unrequited love on one of Faerun’s biggest lady killers.
Figuratively, and literally.
“What say you, Tav?” Wyll asked, elbowing you gently. Snapping you back to reality, you immediately brought your goblet of wine up to your lips to buy yourself some time.
“Sorry, what?” You asked Wyll, keeping your gaze on your goblet. You felt a blush creeping to your lips…hopefully, no one had noticed your total focus on Astarion.
“Gale here was just saying that he could easily have taken on that hoard of goblins we came across this morning by himself!” Wyll chuckled, nodding towards Gale, “Him! Against 20 goblins himself! I say bullshit.”
“Now, now,” Gale interrupted, readying to defend himself, “I said if I had the proper time to prepare my spells correctly, I could easily fight against them-”
“Well, of course, if you had time to properly prepare for battle, you are more able to fight,” Shadowheart retorted, rolling her eyes, “But that’s not the point of battle.”
“Well…” You started as the party erupted into conversations about the designs of battle. As mini discussions started, you swept your eyes across the rest of the party, all who were animatedly debating whether they were for or against Gale’s point.
All, except for Astarion.
Once your eyes met his, you were locked on. He was absentmindedly swirling the wine in his goblet, his eyes unwavering against yours. Face completely unreadable, he caused heat to rise in you. You looked away quickly, only to check again to see if he was still looking at you.
He was.
You felt panic start in your fingertips as you gulped down the rest of your wine and immediately put your goblet down next to you. Standing, you wiped your hands on your pants.
“I’m going for a walk – I need some air.” You announced to no one (as they were still engulfed in their can-Gale-fight-20-goblins discussion). Without hesitation, you made your way to the creek a little bit beyond your campsite. Through the trees, the only noise was the fading of voices and the snapping of twigs beneath your camp boots. Finally reaching the creek, you were able to breathe out a sigh of relief, leaning against the nearest tree.
Your infatuation with Astarion was a point of panic for you – having never been in love (nor never had a partner before), you found yourself in undiscovered territory. You spent your whole life training as a fighter, not a girlfriend. So of course, the irony of it all would be that your first love would be a man who had so much experience, he would make the employees at Sharess’ Caress blush. He also happened to be a man that, though kind enough, wasn’t exactly a buddy. Astarion wouldn’t be the first person you’d reach out to in times of trouble at camp, no matter how much you wanted to. You and Astarion hadn’t had any talks where you were able to divulge your backstories – the only thing you knew about him was that he was a vampire, and his past with Cazador, really.
Oh, and that he was really, absurdly sexy.
You had only hoped that the others around you – especially Astarion – didn’t notice the extra time you spent staring at his face when you hoped no one was watching. Or the fact that your laugh was the loudest when he told funny stories around the campfire. Or that when travelling, you often found yourself walking near him.
“Are you alright?” A voice asked, forcing your eyes to pop open. You whipped around from the tree, finding Astarion step out from behind the forest. A friendly smile played on his lips, putting your thundering heart at ease slightly.
“Oh…yes, I’m fine. Thank you…I think I’ve had too much wine.” You said, quickly making up an excuse, “I guess my body has forgotten how to drink since we started this journey…since…we haven’t really had any wine…since…we started journeying.”
Smooth.
Astarion let out a chuckle, meeting you at the tree you were leaning against. “Ah yes, that makes…sense.” He paused the same way you had. You locked eyes and he broke out in a smile, and you realized he was teasing you. Your heart sped.
“You know what I mean…” You grumbled, kicking a rock in front of you and blushing.
“Yes, yes. I certainly do,” He paused for a moment, looking out at the creek. He didn’t speak, and you were suddenly aware of how loud the running of the water was. “I was worried about you when you ran off so suddenly. I was hoping you weren’t feeling ill.”
“Oh! Oh, no, I’m fine,” You felt flustered – Astarion? Worried about you? “Thank you, though…for checking on me.”
His eyes flickered down to your lips for a split second before returning to your eyes. For a moment, his eyes seemed to change…were they darker somehow? But he blinked, and they returned to his normal ruby red. He raised his eyebrows and he nodded, gracefully slipping his hands into his pants pockets. “You are welcome.”
“I’m feeling better, if you wanted to walk back to the campfire…with me?” You asked hesitantly. Gods, he was just a man! He wasn’t some sort of monstrous creature…so why did he make you so nervous?
Smiling, Astarion raised his arm as if to say, lead the way, “After you.”
You nodded and walked past him, ready to shake off your nerves. You committed to yourself to go back to the campfire and not look at Astarion once. You needed to be objective about your feelings towards him, no matter how strong they were. After all, you all had a mission to complete, and falling in love would simply get in the way. Leave your thoughts of Astarion when you were alone in your bed, drifting off to sleep – not when you were needed to be present.
Suddenly, Astarion gently grabbed your wrist. His fingers were ice cold as you expected, but it still sent a shiver down your spine. “I want to say something to you.” He started. You felt a lump in your throat, unable to speak. You simply nodded, your nerves making you unable to look at him.
“I have noticed that you and I haven’t been able to…get to know each other as much as the others,” His voice, barely above a whisper, was confident and sultry. “I would like that to change. I do enjoy your company very much. And after all, who knows how long we will be spending with each other until we can reclaim our minds from these wretched tadpoles, no?”
You swallowed and nodded, turning to look at him. His eyes glittered, mischievously. His signatured smirk was on his face as he slowly let go of your wrist. Somehow, his icy fingers left your skin burning.
“I would like that,” You eventually say, over the pounding of your heartbeat in your ears, “I also enjoy your…” Gulp. “Company.”
“Wonderful,” Astarion said. “Well, now that that’s settled, let’s get back to camp, shall we?” And even though he originally had you lead the way, he started off to camp first, leaving you a few steps behind.
Not that you minded…you obviously had to use this time to collect your thoughts.
Astarion wasn’t quite sure what had come over him at the party’s get-together the previous evening, but once he had seen you (very obviously) fixating on him from across the fire, something in him snapped.
Sure, he had noticed you immediately when he had joined the party – your kind eyes, and beautiful hair. Not to mention your lyrical laugh, and curvy body…the same one where, the mere thought of could keep him up all night…
It was safe to say he had developed strong feelings for you, so Astarion decided to do what he did best – keep a safe distance, and play it cool. There was no way romance and love and feelings would be a good idea in any sense.
Especially when he knew that your feelings were probably just lust.
Love was something so far from Astarion’s lexicon, he couldn’t even remember the last time he felt it. No one could ever love him – not after everything he had done, or even because of who he was. Worthless, disgusting, abysmal…there weren’t enough words to describe Astarion’s shortcomings.
Astarion was very aware of what many others thought of him – his only redeeming quality to the world was his looks, so the idea that people only wanted to fuck and leave was not a new concept. Though he couldn’t necessarily get himself into that particular situation all that much while under Cazador (though he somehow was able to sneak away for an hour or two while completing a mission), he saw how people looked at him on this journey.
It would’ve been flattering to him if he didn’t hate himself so much.
So the idea that your feelings – which were always written all over your face – could be any more than a fantasy of bedding him, was preposterous. Up until now, Astarion would be able to push that aside for a night or two in order to satiate his (and your) need to get off, but something inside him told him that his feelings would get in the way. His fantasies about you weren’t just sexual…sometimes, his mind wandered to holding you in his arms, or simply eating a meal with you by the campfire.
Or even worse…a future with you. One that didn’t include tadpoles and battles, but of sleeping in a fluffy bed with you on a Sunday morning; of going to the town market together to complete your errands, and of owning a cat with you.
Which, truth be told, scared him more than anything.
So when he found himself following you to the creek after you had left the campfire that evening without even thinking about it, he knew he was in trouble. Gone was any sense in his brain; instead, he knew his heart was taking over, and for whatever reason, he decided to go along with it. Maybe it was because his feelings were too strong, or that he couldn’t help himself, but he knew he needed to finally be around you more.
Even if that meant you wanted nothing more than a dirty fuck.
A few days after the night at the campfire (and - surprise, surprise - another night of drinking the following evening), you found yourself once again headed towards Baldur's Gate, party and belongings in tow. Since then, you and Astarion had fallen into your familiar rhythm of what seemed like standoffishness, but now with more smiles and pleasantries peppered in. Which, was more than okay with you, since the very idea of Astarion becoming close seemed to scare you.
However, your heart couldn't help but flutter when the surprisingly flirty remark Astarion made was thrown your way. So much so that you didn't mind the curious glances from Lae'zel, or Gale.
"C'mon, you have to tell us!" Karlach pleaded while on the road, her voice a hoarse whisper as to not draw attention, "What is going on between you and Astarion?! Don't think I didn't notice, soldier...him running after you the other night? And now he's flirting with you...complimenting you?! The others may not be noticing all that much, but I certainly am!"
You laughed nervously and swatted your hand in the air as if to say, it's nothing! "Oh, you know Astarion. He flirts with everyone!"
"Yeah, but this is the first time he's flirting with you," Karlach retorted. "Which, took long enough since Gods, you're hot! But, don't think I haven't noticed the change in attitude between you two."
A blush crept to your face as you felt yourself unable to look away from the back of Astarion's head, who was walking a few paces ahead of you, discussing something with Halsin very intently. Your mind wandered to other things as your eyes scanned his body...his back, his behind...how both of them would look naked.
"Alright, I'm leaving you to whatever weird fantasy is currently going on in that brain of yours, okay?" Karlach finally said, pulling you out of your daydream. She playfully shoved your shoulder and walked faster, stepping in line with Shadowheart at the front of the pack. As she passed, Astarion slowly turned his head to look at you, Halsin still blabbering away in his ear. Your heart leapt to your throat as you locked eyes with him.
He had definitely heard.
The night had fallen silently, the only noise in camp being crickets chirping away. The oil lamp in your tent flickered as you pulled the blanket on your bed closer to your body. The book you were reading was propped up in your lap, and you reveled in the peace of the evening - retiring to your tent early, you heard exactly when everyone else had gone to sleep. Sure, you probably should have been sleeping already since Wyll insisted on an early morning start, but you wanted to enjoy your book for just a few more moments.
Suddenly, a rustling came from the front of your tent, the sound of someone announcing themselves.
"It's me," Astarion's voice called, "Are you decent?"
"Um-" You threw the book closed and swept the blanket off of you in a panic, though there was literally nothing to panic about. Rising from the bed quickly, you started to pace your tent, "Yes. Come in."
The flap to your tent was quickly undid and thrust open. Astarion strode in and redid the flap with ease. He looked down, and once he realized you had enchanted your tent with a wooden floor, slipped off his camp shoes. When he looked back up at you, he smiled.
"Good evening, darling."
"Good evening." You said, holding your hands behind your back. You plastered a smile on your face, trying to suppress the urge to smooth your hair. A moment of silence passed by before you snapped into action, "Would you like to sit?" You asked, motioning to your bed.
"Ah, yes. Thank you." Astarion said awkwardly, moving towards the bed. He sat at the far corner, causing you to sit at the opposite side.
How funny...with how badly you wanted to jump his bones, you'd think you wouldn't be on basically the other side of the world.
"Well, darling, I just came here tonight to...see how you were doing?" Astarion started, looking at you. You couldn't help but smile as he leaned back on the footpost of your bed.
"How I'm doing?" You clarified.
He nodded, "Yes, as friends do. That's what we're working towards," He paused, his eyes flickering down your body. Then, his eyes did the thing - darkened slightly, causing an indescribable look to cross his face.
Suddenly, you recognized that it wasn't an indescribable look.
It was lust.
"Friends, correct? That's what we're looking for." He finally finished, meeting your eyes again. This time, his eyes stayed dark, running his tongue quickly over his lips to moisten them.
You heart began to thud and you shifted in your nightclothes, arousal springing in your belly. Just Astarion's look alone and you were suddenly putty in his hands.
"Y-yes. Friends...that's what we are." You quietly confirmed. Feeling bold - you couldn't believe that Astarion was feeling lustful towards you! Could it be a mistake? - you scooted a bit closer and leaned in slightly, "Unless you had...other plans."
Astarion smirked and cocked and eyebrow, mirroring your body language by scooting closer. "Darling...are you coming on to me?" His voice was low, floating to your ears. You began to feel warm, a bit of sweat pooling on your brow. "If so...well, that changes everything."
"Does it now?" You murmured, staring at his lips. Your boldness surprised you - you were surprised that the first time you took a chance with Astarion was working in your favor.
Not that you were complaining.
As your heart started to beat faster, Astarion slid closer to you, closing the gap between your bodies. His hand slowly snaked up your side, his pointer finger lightly tracing your thigh. He moved in, his lips mere inches from yours.
"Say the word", He said, his voice ringing in your ears, "And tonight, I'm yours. But I will not continue unless you say it."
Your belly pooled with heat, and you couldn't contain yourself, no matter how nervous you were, "Then be mine tonight."
At once Astarion was on top of you, his lips pressed against yours. Spreading his legs so that yours were in between his, he pressed himself down on your body, his erection already prominent. You moaned into the kiss, causing him to deepen it.
"Astarion," You breathed as he pulled away slightly, starting to push your sleep shirt up from the bottom. He smiled as he quickly looked into your eyes, finally finding your lips with his again.
"If this is what friendship means for us, then I cannot wait to get closer." He spoke teasingly, his words sloppy, encased in your lips. You giggled through the kiss and suddenly gasped as you felt his cold hands on your sides, under your shirt.
You heart raced as your hands found their way to Astarion's shirt, pulling it above his head. You ran your fingers down his chest, taking in the sight before you. He paused, obviously loving the attention. A smirk played on his lips as he pushed your shirt above your head, eyes widening as your bare chest was finally on display.
"Gods, you're gorgeous." He purred, maintaining eye contact as he slowly lowered his head to latch his lips on to one of your erect nipples. You immediately moaned as his tongue swirled around your breast, leaving evidence of saliva around your nipple.
"Fuck, Astarion." You grumbled, your back arching into his mouth. He smiled but continued with his mouth, his hands finding their way to your soft pants. Without ties or buttons, Astarion was able to easily push them down, and you helped by kicking them off of your ankles.
"Darling, I can't wait to take you all in," He said, his mouth rising to yours again. One of his hands found its way to your neck, holding on to the side, while resting on his elbow. His other hand met your clit, immediately rubbing circles, "You're already so wet." He chuckled.
"You feel so good," You retorted as an explanation. Your thoughts were swimming overwhelmingly - you couldn't believe you were finally in bed with Astarion. You had fantasized about this moment basically since you had met him, and being here felt better than you could have ever imagined.
Say the word, and tonight, I'm yours. His words rang in your brain, causing your face to flush even more.
Tonight.
Tonight.
But what about after tonight?
You hadn't much experience with lovers, aside from the few and far between "relationships" as a teen, so you didn't know what was supposed to happen after this night. Were you supposed to go back to normal...as friends?
Suddenly, a pang of panic spread through you - the idea of going back to normal, as just friends, was painful to you. Here you were, with Astarion finally as a lover, someone you've come to care for deeply.
How deep it was going to hurt if you couldn't continue on with him. How deep it would hurt if you gave yourself to him like that, only to have him take you and discard you.
You snapped back to reality, realizing that many moments of silence from you had gone by. You hadn't even felt anything Astarion was doing, and he noticed, quizzically looking at you while continuing to work on your clit. You felt anxiety rise to the surface violently, and you suddenly sat up in the bed.
"Wait, wait, wait, wait, stop. Stop!" You said, immediately criss-crossing your legs. Astarion, shocked, sat back on his knees, his glistening chest heaving.
"I'm sorry! Did I do something wrong?" His lips were full and swollen, his eyes wide. You recognized the look of fear on his face, causing your heart to drop.
"I can't do this," You spoke frantically, sighing heavily. "I'm sorry I just...can't."
"Oh...kay," Astarion spoke slowly, seemingly afraid to startle you, "What's wrong?"
Your thoughts were still jumbled, the anxiety still at the surface, "I just...I just can't have you dismiss me after tonight!" Your voice was shrill, you knew it, but you couldn't stop.
Confused, Astarion slid closer. He was quiet for a moment, handing over your blanket. You took it, covering yourself, silently thanking him for the gesture.
"'Dismiss' you?" He asked, tilting his head to the side, "What do you mean, 'dismiss' you?"
"You know..." You said, almost panting from the panic, "Dismiss me! Like your...your other lovers!" You waved your hand in the air to accentuate the point, "Here I am, with true, deep feelings of love for you, and all I am to you will be another notch in your bedpost!" You sighed, finally catching your breath, "And I know I said yes to this, but truth be told I am not...experienced...with someone who is as experienced as you, and I know I said yes because I couldn't help myself due to my feelings for you. But I cannot go back to just friends after this, to party members after this. Like nothing had happened. I cannot be discarded..." Finally deciding to look at him, you felt tears spring to your eyes, "I think that will break my heart."
"Darling," Astarion whispered, taking your hand in his. "What makes you think I planned to discard you after this?"
"Isn't that what you want?" You asked, allowing the small tears to fall freely, "To just...fuck?"
"Gods, no!" Astarion cried, moving closer and smiling, "That's what I thought you wanted!"
"What?!" You asked, matching his smile, "What do you mean?"
"I thought you only wanted to bed me," He said, squeezing your hand, "That's why I came here tonight - because I thought it was what you wanted. My whole life, for as long as I can remember, my body has been used for others. I've never had someone bed me and want to stay...You know my history with Cazador...you know what I've been subjected to. I've never had anyone...care...for me before," He looked down, his voice softening, "...are you saying that you care for me?"
You nodded slowly. Bravely, you reached your hand to touch his cheek, causing him to look up to you again, "I care for you...deeply. I've fantasized about this moment since I've met you but..." You tried to find the proper words, "I'm not quite sure I'm ready for it. I have little experience and, I know that sounds young, but-"
"My darling, I would never ever push you to do something you don't want," Astarion interrupted, shaking his head, "If anyone knows about being forced to do things you don't want, it's me. Truth be told...it's quite a relief to hear you say that...I'm not...quite sure my body is ready to be touched in that way...right now," He smiled sadly, "Not by someone I care for deeply. Not in a relationship I want to grow more then just...sleeping with one another. I find that it is hard to think of myself sexually due to...my past. And I'd rather move past that before I..." His words trailed off, as if he didn't want to continue.
"Astarion," You whispered. "I won't hurt you like that. Just like you didn't want to hurt me."
He smiled finally, taking your hand closer to his mouth. Gently, he kissed your knuckles, a smile playing on his lips, "The last thing I will ever do is hurt you."
"So..." You gently nudged, "You're saying that you care deeply for me as well?"
Astarion looked at you seriously, continuing to hold your hand. He nodded, "I do. I'm terrified, but I do. I don't know what this is, and I don't know what it will become, but I've come to realize that whatever it is...I want to do it with you," He chuckled to himself, "A terrifying thought, my heart in your hands."
"And mine in yours." You spoke. Your heart was thundering with an overflow of joy - after all this time, this new revelation felt like a sunrise after a dark and stormy night. After a moment of silence, you tucked a piece of hair behind his ear, "Tonight, I think we just lay together. We don't need anything else. But I would like to spend time with you."
Astarion's eyes glittered as he nodded again, noticing your sleep clothes on the ground and picking them up. As he slipped his shirt back on, he laid beside you in bed, hesitantly putting his arms around you.
"I've never just...lay with someone before."
"There's a first for everything." You said mildly, turning to him in his arms. He smiled, gently kissing your forehead.
"I'm scared." He offered. You nodded, knowingly.
"I know. So am I."
"But before the happiness, there is always fear." He said. He looked at you, sincerity and kindness in his eyes. Gently, you met his lips with yours, trying to muster as much courage and support as you could through a kiss. When you pulled back, you smiled at him.
"And there will be a lot of happiness."

Okay, but like, what about Hobie x a reader who's like, super resilient? As in resistant to physical dmg. Like idk how to word it, but someone who like, accidentally chops of half her finger then is like, "Oh no, I'm fine :)" then puts rubbing alcohol on it. And he's just like freaking out like there's so much blood on the counter?? Idk, I just thought it'd be funny because I'm kinda like that irl ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Thank you so much for requesting!! I loved writing it ❤️
Pairing: Hobie Brown x gn! Reader/ Spider-Punk x gn! Reader

A/N: a bit late for another Halloween fic lol it's still Halloween somewhere right? (Wrong)
ʕ·ᴥ·ʔ
The cinnamon smelling cookies in the oven makes your stomach grumble. With your hands occupied with the pumpkin carving knives, you pout at the rumbling feeling. You and Hobie are speedily carving out pumpkins together during Halloween night. You would've done it earlier on your own but you wanted to carve them together with Hobie. Unfortunately, Goblin doesn't care about the holiday despite his pumpkin shaped bombs.
So you're carving away, chipping at the face you've doodled that Hobie lovingly told you that it looks eerily like you. Which earned him a face full of pumpkin guts thrown at him.
Hobie senses your hunger, and how you're carving away without care. “Love, it's not a competition.”
“I know, but the trick or treaters will be here any minute!” You huff, poking out a finished ‘eye’ in your pumpkin. One down, a few more shapes to go. “Besides, that movie we watched the other day fucked me up, I don't want to be murdered by a pumpkin demon for not having a jack o’ lantern on our doorstep.”
He chuckles, going around the counter and abandoning his own half finished pumpkin. “The little demon won't come ‘ere knowin’ that ‘m over ‘ere, lovie.” You give him a look as he slides his arms around your middle, chin perched on your shoulder as he rubs his chin on you lovingly. “‘sides, this was supposed to be fun, remember?” Pecking your cheek, you lean closer as he smothers your jaw in warm kisses. Who needs a chimney when you've got your walking furnace right beside you? “Slow down for me, yeah?” Whispering lowly in your ear that sends goosebumps on your arms, he rubs them away with an even warmer hand before he reluctantly moves away to check on the cookies.
“Yeah,” you say with a lovestruck smile, turning around to see Hobie bending down while cracking open the hot oven and shutting it off. “You're right, this is fun, Hobie.” You take the opportunity to ogle him with a tilt of your head. He senses your eyes on his behind of course, prompting him to quickly look over his shoulder, catching you mid turn as you pretend you weren't eyeing him down.
Hobie slides himself next to you on the counter, elbow placed on the cold tiles, chin resting on his palm with a smirk on his pretty lips. “Saw somethin' you like?”
You glance at him, trying to tamp down your laughter. “Well, your jack o' lantern isn't done yet, I don't like that.”
Hobie was about to steal a kiss right on your smug lips but the doorbell ringing and the unmistakable chime of children outside interrupts him. “Tight arse.” He says against your pursed lips before walking away to grab the bowl of candy on the table.
“Flat ass.” You call after him as he makes his way to the front door. He chuckles as he opens it, and the trick or treaters’ voices echoes inside.
Shaking your head with a grin, you continue to chip away at the pumpkin, following the zig zagged line of its serrated smile. As you chop and cut, you hear Hobie giving out candies.
“Nice costume, little man.” He says, and you're sure he's giving the kid a full sized chocolate bar based on the lilt of his tone. “Spider-Man himself would be jealous, eh?”
You wanted to see what the said costume looks like, so with a quick peek while you're cutting out the last bits of pumpkin, you smile at the kid's homemade costume. It's even complete with Hobie's signature spikes and leather vest. Your smile falters as you feel something warm trickle from the pads of your thumb, looking down, you see crimson ebb from your fingertip down into the jack o’ lantern’s grin.
“Oh.”
Hobie's senses tingle as he shuts the door with a quick farewell to the kid. Goosebumps rise on his nape, head blaring alarms in his ears. Turning around to see what his senses are pointing at, he almost drops the bowl of candy when he sees your blood flowing from your hand, pooling down on the white countertops.
“Shit, love.” He speed walks towards you, hands outstretched to cradle your bleeding finger. “What happened?”
“I nicked myself, I'm fine.” The amount of red flowing out from the cut says otherwise. “I just need to wash it.”
“Fuck, you're bleedin’ a lot.” He curses under his breath as he helps you towards the kitchen sink, opening the faucet to let the warm water wash the crimson away. “You alright? How do you feel?” The sink water quickly blends in with your blood as it goes down the drain.
“I'm fine—” Hobie's already grabbing a clean towel from the rack, “Hobie—” he's wrapping it around your finger, watching the blood stain the white cloth. “Don't worry, I'm really fine.”
“It won't stop.” His eyes widen at how fast the red overtakes the pristine cloth. “Shit,” he wraps it tighter, and you don't even hiss or groan. Flicking his worried eyes at you, he sees you shrug at him. “You don't feel that?”
“I told you, I'm fine.”
“Bein' fine and not feelin’ any pain ain't the same. What if you nicked a nerve or some shit?”
“I don't think so,” you take a peek at the now drenched cloth. “Can you grab me the alcohol, please?” You say, awfully calm about the blood you're quickly losing.
“Alcohol?!” He scoffs out, guiding you down on the dining chair, just in case you faint. “Love, that won't help the bleedin’, It'll hurt you more.”
You bat your lashes at him, smiling as if you're not bleeding profusely. “Please?”
He sighs, remembering the med kit you have in your cabinet for him whenever he comes home with various wounds after a harsh patrol. “No, I'll get a proper disinfectant.”
“But, alcohol works best on me—”
“No,” he chuckles nervously, feeling your warm crimson on his palms. “If this doesn't stop in a minute, ‘m bringin’ you to hospital.”
“It's just a cut, I need alcohol, that's all.”
Hobie stands up, hands on his hips. It's his turn to take care of you, no matter how stubborn you are. “Stay ‘ere, if you feel faint yell for me, yeah?”
You huff in your seat, surrendering to his coddling. “Okay,” he enters your bathroom, knowing what he's already rifling through. “I don't need stitches, Hobie!”
“If you keep bein' like this, I'll stitch you up.”
“Okay, doctor Frankenstein!” You blink away the sudden dizziness and black dots dancing in your vision. “Hey, Hobie.”
“Yeah?” He makes his way back to you with the med kit, senses blaring at him.
“I feel a bit light headed actually—” You fall forward, eyes rolling on the back of your head.
“Love—!” He catches you in time. Putting his arms around you to carry you in a bridal hold. Even with his thudding heart and heavy worry, he calmly brings you towards the front door. As he opens it, he's greeted by a group of costumed children, their screams of terror at your bloodied hand almost freezes him in place. “Shit, it's not—!” They run away from the house, still screaming in horror. “Damn it.”
As he carries you towards the car, he'll make sure you'll never hear the end of his teasing after you've come too and hopefully better after some treatment.

The echoing tick of the clock resonated in the walls that encapsulated the bedroom, you peeked your head through the lock to peer your eyes over the familiar carpet and the bed, seeking for the sight of your beloved human before returning inside of the closet after making sure none of your gold dust fell onto the floor.
You huffed when the only light given around the dark clothing items was the golden glow from your wings and body, irritation building up inside of your tiny being when the ticking gradually increased in volume with no signs of your human returning.
Surrendering after many hours by plopping down on the wooden floor of the wardrobe, paying no mind to the soft thud that rang through the room or the glitter landing besides you, you sat on the hardened surface, the slow vine of disappointment growing inside of you as you thought that your human was probably caught up in another extra class today.
And the second you closed your eyes, your fay ears caught on the familiar sound of a woman— “heeseung, why are you so late today?” Heeseung’s mom questioned him, the only response tumbling past heeseung’s mouth was an exhausted groan as his muffled voice claimed that miss Kim was questioning his questionable answers on his most recent quiz, you only assumed that he was rubbing his hands all over his face when he answered, a regular habit of his when he’s very tired.
The sound of the doorknob being twisted made your wings flutter before you could even sit up, instantly you were peeking your head through the small lock again and allowing the relief of seeing heeseung’s figure wash down on you, quickly checking if his mother’s figure also walked into the room before finally flying out of the keyhole when you couldn’t spot her and only heard her footsteps gradually fading away.
Heeseung was able to notice your gold dust before he was able to find your small body flying towards him, eyes traced on the glowing dust that decorated his carpet, leading his vision to the door of his closet where you were flying from, the second he was able to make out your glowing body in the dim light of his room he instantly opened his hands for your safe arrival in his hold.
“You’re not being that discreet with your hiding anymore, you know?” He chuckled when you landed in his soft palms, in the blink of an eye you climbed his arm to nuzzle closer into his neck while he gently caressed your back with his index finger, “I missed you!” You beamed around his skin, making his smile widen when he noticed your dust twinkling all over his clothes.
“I missed you too.” He whispered for you, his soft words fanning against your skin when you pulled away to gaze into his doe eyes, exhaustion and fatigue evident all over his gaze as he looked at you with his droopy eyelids. “Rough day?” You asked gently, your fluttering wings aiding you in separating from his fingers and moving towards his fluffy hair, where your tiny hands began to work through his locks and massaged his scalp gently.
Heeseung sighed at your touch, closing his eyes instinctively and almost loosing his footing when his knees almost buckled at the instant relaxation your magical touch granted him, he slowly nodded at your words careful to not move you around while you caressed his skin, “how about taking a nap?” You spoke, moving your body closer to his ear so he would be able to hear you better.
Heeseung sighed before placing his hand on the side of his head, palm facing above and inviting you to jump in and when you did he brought you to his eye level, where you could easily see all the twinkling stars in his gaze, “I think that would be a great idea.” He whispered, awestruck by your mere existence as it has always fascinated him.
He couldn’t believe his luck when you spotted you surrounded by a glowing cocoon of leafs, his eyes widening in disbelief while his feet stopped in his tracks when he realised the oddly glowing ball of leaf began to open up, his head spinning as he questioned reality when a sleepy and fragile you emerged from the small cocoon, a few lavender and rose coloured flower petals wrapped around your tiny body while your wings gently opened up, allowing countless glowing particles to fall beneath you.
His bewilderment increased rapidly when his gaze found yours, an instant invisible string extending from your chest to his pulled him closer to you, neither of you could explain what the sudden push or force was on that fated day, but you both knew that your meeting was written in both of your destinies.
And heeseung couldn’t have been more thankful for stepping out of class late that day and walking past the garden to spot you, as you had been the only person he completely trusted in his life. You were always there to help him to the best of your ability during his difficult days, whether it was by making a stupid human joke or just by decorating his studying table with your glowing dust— your presence significantly changed heeseung’s life in the best way possible.
He couldn’t imagine his life without all the gold dust now.
His gratefulness for the heavens above intensified when you eagerly nodded at his words before flying away from his palm, moving towards his bedside table like you had always done when it was time for him to surrender to slumber that always welcomed him with a warm embrace whenever you were around him.
He motioned for you to close your eyes as his hands reached for his discarded clothes on the bed, smiling endearingly when your face reddened while you covered your face with your hands, only opening them when heeseung plopped down on his bed, the air from his sudden jump fluttering your wings and petals making you glare at him to which he only laughed at.
“You’re so adorable.” He chuckled, his smile deepening as his eyes turned into lovely crescents when your blush deepened, “you should leave for now.” Heeseung spoke, his drowsiness heavy in his tone while his eyelids took longer to open up the more he blinked, “why?” You questioned, eyebrows furrowing as your heart thrummed in your chest, you knew exactly why he was asking you to leave.
“He’ll be here soon, so you have to go.” He nuzzled closer into his pillow, lips pouting against the soft pillowcase as he fought the urge to keep his eyes open longer, “but seungie..” you looked down disappointedly, fiddling with your fingers at the thought of not being able to see your love today, “no buts, sunshine. You have to go.” He replied, finality laced around his slurred words while his eyebrows twitched slightly, indicating his brewing frustration at the thought of you staying here when he was here too.
You knew about heeseung’s protectiveness over you, he preferred for you to only stay in his room, nervous about the reaction of other people to your existence especially when he didn’t know what they would be capable of, heeseung wouldn’t be able to forgive himself if anything was to ever happen to you, especially not when he would be the reason behind it.
So isolating you for the time being from the outside world was the best idea his stressed and anxious mind could come up with, his relief of knowing that your own fairy friends visited you sometimes gave him some sort of peace of mind and whenever the guilt became too much for his weak heart he would accompany you to trips into his garden where he would get mesmerised by your glowing figure passing by him in a blur, your excitement very clearly evident when your golden dust would turn a pretty, sparkling white.
He opened his blurry eyes to the sight of your head that lowered, his heart leaping to his throat when you looked up at him with your eyes begging him to allow you to stay, heeseung quickly shook his head in refusal, you had to understand that he couldn’t allow you to face any possible harm in any way, “no, sunshine. My words are final.” He finished before closing his eyes once again, a hidden smile etching its way onto his face when you huffed adorably and flew away, the only remaining bit of your presence being the gold dust that had a soft tint of crimson in it, expressing your frustration and anger before you sneaked inside of the lock in his drawer.
You decided to sit against the tiny mint box in the corner of the wooden drawer, a bunch of rings and discarded book covers tumbled and brushed against your legs on your way before you sighed in exasperation and laid back on the surface of the box.
How am I supposed to see him now? You wondered, your mood souring further at the realisation that he won’t even know that you’re in here, more used to visiting you next to the window or the wardrobe rather than heeseung’s bedside table. Your only hope suddenly becoming your gold dust that will catch his attention and guide him to the drawer.
You turned to your side, waves of disappointment and sadness crashing down your fairy body making your wings sink further and dim their light against the box, the glow in the drawer decreasing gradually which led you to close your eyes, wonders and thoughts of your love slowly dissipating from your mind..
And before you could get fully indulged in the quietness that filled the drawer along with your sadness, you heard the familiar distant rumble of thunder, a gentle whoosh of wind followed the sound indicating the arrival of the sandman.
Your body shot upwards from the box, sitting up against the object and not moving an inch further, anxious about heeseung spotting you the second you step out.
The wind increased gradually, a soft breeze neither warm or cold— one that felt like an inviting embrace of slumber, of deep deep rest that called to your mind tenderly.
That’s just how gentle he was. His whole presence was a mirror of his heart.
You heard the quiet twinkle that reached your ears easily, his pleasant voice wishing heeseung a peaceful sleep and sweet dreams. You wished and prayed in your heart that his eyes will search for you once heeseung’s closed completely, hoping that he will be able to spot the shimmering dust and locate the drawer.
Closing your eyes with silent pleas to the heavens above, prayers continuing to float up into the sky and pausing when you heard the faint stumbling of foot steps next to you.
Your eyelids shot open before your head turned, welcoming the sight of jaeyun sneaking quietly into the drawer from the keyhole, clad in his regular sandman outfit that consisted of a white button up and white pants, symbolizing an angel in your eyes rather than a sandman.
His fluffy hat and jacket got caught up in a rough piece of wood springing up from the floor of the drawer, slightly ripping through the fabric but jaeyun paid no mind to the ruined material, his features brightening when his eyes spotted you, “my love!” His voice beamed at you.
“My dea—“ you weren’t even given the chance to finish his nickname before he swooped you into his arms, warm embrace overflowing and buzzing with excitement whilst relief and joy rushed through your body at the contact.
“I missed you so much.” He whispered into your hair, arms wrapped around your waist with his fingers patting gently against your skin as if he was making sure that you really were in his hold, he rested his head against yours when you inhaled his comforting scent of rain and faint touches of citrus, nuzzling your nose to his neck the further he snuggled into you.
One of his hands then trailed upwards, gently resting below your jaw as he lifted your face to gaze into your eyes that always seemed to spill with the utmost amount of love and adoration for him, thankfully his eyes mirrored your own completely.
“I missed you too.” You replied quietly, suddenly shy in his hold as you two haven’t been able to float around each other’s companies for some time now, his smile widened at your avoidant eyes, nose scrunching before he allowed a soft laugh to tumble past his plump lips.
His hand trailed down from your jaw to your neck, index and middle fingers grazing your collarbones making you push yourself further against him as you sighed at his sweet touch, the one you missed the most that never failed to leave a trickling trail of fire behind it.
“You have no idea how long I’ve been waiting to see you again, my precious.” He leaned forward to whisper against your lips, both of your eyes instinctively closing at the close proximity allowing your senses to heighten and to bask in each other’s presence, “it’s only been four days, love.” You whispered back, lips slightly brushing against each other making your heart thunder in your chest.
“That’s too long, way too long darling.” His hand then moved to rest on the back of your neck while the other dropped to grip onto your hip, pulling your body flush against his and finally connecting your lips.
Quiet gasps fell apart from your mouths and remained silent, the contact sent sparks flying around your nerves as if it was the first time you kissed your love, heart hammering against your ribcage in sync with his own like your hearts were confirming each other’s existence, your hand lowered to interlace with his own around your hip while he tilted his head slightly to deepen the kiss.
His tongue teased your bottom lip making you smile against his mouth to which he found torturously endearing, he breathed you in like you were the last air on earth, the only oxygen his lungs desperately searched for while you melted in his embrace further and further, drowning in his presence that allowed you to sink deeper into the undying devotion you carried for him.
And just like that, it was only you two in the world, the tight space of the drawer long forgotten, so was heeseung’s peacefully sleeping body and so was the loud rustling of leaves against the window due to the storm that raged outside seemingly replicating the emotions in your chest.
You pulled away once the burning sensation of your lungs made your head become light, dizziness from both the lack of breath and from jaeyun’s lips searching for yours, head unconsciously leaning and following your movements with his eyes still closed, chasing after your touch when you only chuckled at his needy expression.
Quickly leaning back to peck his lips when you could no longer resist his pouty and slightly swollen lips, you pulled back just in time to see his eyes opening up, the view of his deep brown orbs that contained lifetimes of emotions swirling beautifully in them. Admiration, need, desire, care and tender feelings all decorated his pools like minute specks of stars in the vast wide sky.
Yet the one that stood out the most was his love that dripped like honey from his eyes.
“Can you stay tonight?” You asked in a hushed tone, somewhat expecting disappointment to follow your question yet that annoying cloud of dissatisfaction quickly dispersed when jaeyun smiled widely, “only if you make me tea.” He snickered, eyebrows raising expectantly at your response.
“Your favourite honey tea?” Smiling at the way he nodded his head in an adorable manner when you mentioned his most beloved beverage that he claimed only you knew how to create, stating that it was the special flavour of your gold test that sweetened the tea further than any sugar or honey could.
Before any other word could be exchanged between the two of you, your interlocked hand pulled him with you towards the keyhole of the drawer where the two of you sneaked out this time, careful and quiet to not make any sort of loud noise that could possibly disturb heeseung in his sleep, your wings quickly aided you in floating in front of the drawer as you waited for jaeyun to follow after you.
And when your dear lover popped his head outside of the keyhole with his doe eyes searching for you, the thunder rumbled outside again causing your beloved human to shift in his sleep, the sudden movement of his body caused jaeyun to quickly push himself back inside of the keyhole (bumping his head on the way as well to which you stifled a laugh at when he whined at the pain) while you quickly fled under the drawer in attempt to hide yourself.
Once heeseung’s movements ceased, indicating the safety of the area for you and Jaeyun to move, you hastily soared towards the keyhole and knocked on the piece to gather jaeyun’s attention, he peeked his glossy eyes out first before swiftly pulling out of the keyhole, fine glittery dust that shined in the colour of baby blue fell past his feet and landed against the carpet next to your own golden dust.
You reached your hand towards him once more when small fluffy clouds began to appear around his feet to balance him, your fingers laced once more while your wings fluttered and you both took off towards the window.
The moonlight illuminated your way, guiding the two of you to the small opening of the window to the outside world, your feet finally rested against the window sill where heeseung kept a few of his colorful plants knowing how much you adored flowers, thinking that this would be easier access for you than the garden whenever you felt like sleeping atop a flower petal.
Besides the few plant pots was where a small leaf and wooden table located, two small wooden chairs that were woven with vines and decorated with flowers were placed next to the table, the little glimmering dragon flies rested against the wood next to the tables providing both of you a cozy atmosphere even with the rain pouring a few feet away from you.
“Take a seat, I’ll be right back jaeyunie.” You spoke before separating your hand from his and smiling at the pout that almost instantly appeared on his face at the loss of contact, he looked up at your nodding and smiling face that reassured him which was enough to have him walk towards the chairs and patiently wait for your return with his eyes just trailing behind you and your golden glitter.
You noiselessly moved back inside heeseung’s room from the window, carefully flying towards the drawer and sneaking through the keyhole to find all of your discarded honey and herbs, collecting all the needed items for jaeyun’s tea to your best ability in your arms before peeking outside of the keyhole and soaring outside of the small window opening.
Jaeyun’s face visibly brightened when he spotted your glow returning from the glass window, a familiar ease settling into his bones at the sight of you carefully maneuvering around the plants and smaller tables that were placed on the window sill.
Some of them contained small versions of the larger flower pots with miniature sprouts peeking from around the dirt, while others contained small vases and tubes that were filled with colourful liquids to which Jaeyun assumed were your experimental spells and potions.
You moved towards one of the smaller tables, hands reaching towards a little dark oak box that had carvings and engravings of you and your fairies initials, opening the small piece of wood to allow the sight of the small cups and glasses to enter yours and jaeyun’s vision, glass cups that carried drawings and paintings of your boredom and random sparks of creativity that jaeyun absolutely adored with his whole being.
“I want that one!” He pointed towards the cup in your right hand that was decorated with countless pink and red miniature hearts, one that you painted when you had missed jaeyun heavily during the days when he was too busy to appear in heeseung’s room, coincidentally it also became jaeyun’s favourite cup to drink from without even knowing the story behind it.
Easily feeding further into your destiny and fated thoughts that tied you both to eachother.
“Okay, my love.” You chuckled at his excited tone before placing the two cups on the table and closing the box, unaware of the dopey and stupidly loving smile that painted jaeyun’s face behind you.
The second you started to prepare your tea by boiling the water on a small fire you started with the aid of the fire flies around you two, jaeyun got lost deep in thought, tangled between multiple memories of the two of you.
And his mind pushed him further back into his memory lane, where he was able to remember your first encounter with him that was engraved on the back of his eyelids now with how repetitively it played in front of his eyes.
The sun had just sank behind the horizon and Jaeyun had arrived in heeseung’s room, a new friend that he met a few weeks ago when the sandmen’s assigned rooms and friends were changed, he respected heeseung deeply and was able to tell that he was in the process of formulating a precious friendship that will for sure last a lifetime.
His clouds thickened around the soles of his feet and knees to balance himself above heeseung’s figure beneath him, hand sneaking into his small pouch that was wrapped around his waist, the navy blue fabric that was decorated with smaller yellow stars that were drawn very carefully by his best friend sunghoon, carried small golden particles that encapsulated his dust that he had spent day and night perfecting.
One that heeseung instantly fell in love with as he was able to instantly drift away into slumber the second jaeyun’s soft and gentle fingers poured the dust atop his eyelids, allowing him to experience the sweetest and deepest dreams in his life.
On that memorable day, jaeyun settled back on the bedside table to ensure heeseung’s sleep was successful by following his breathing pattern, one that he luckily memorised on his first day that he got confined between heeseung’s walls that held his captivating drawings and paintings about supernatural beings, once jaeyun’s eyes moved away from heeseung’s chest and onto his drawings, a glittery drawing that seemed to appear as a fairy caught his attention and—
Wait was it glowing?
Jaeyun could recognise the familiar golden glow of fairies from miles away, the warm light that he grew to find an immense amount of comfort and safety in, the sight easily made him get atop his clouds again and drift towards the painting.
Brushing his hand against heeseung’s own brush strokes made an exciting tingly sensation cascade down his spine, jaeyun’s mind rushed at the gentle and feather like flecks that now shined on the tips of his fingers.
And before Jaeyun could take in the painting more and focus on its details, he saw a large and questionable amount of floating gold dust in his peripheral vision, jaeyun was also able to tell that the dust was oddly enough getting bigger, almost as if it was coming closer before— oof!
A sudden quiet crash sounded in heeseung’s room, a blurry collision between two barely visible bodies resulted in a hushed thud on heeseung’s carpet that now carried both the sandman and the fairy, along with the sparkles and dispersed clouds surrounding them in a circle.
Surprisingly, the glitter easily got tousled with the remaining bits of clouds.
“Ouch!” The two creatures yelped in unison when they landed against the floor, one massaged his bottom while the other rubbed her head to console the throbbing ache that began to slowly diffuse.
Before you could lift your head up from the floor that appeared fuzzy in your vision now, jaeyun quickly got up on his own feet, the clouds beneath his figure swiftly dissolving at the sudden spike in his emotions, he anxiously cleared his throat in an attempt to gather enough courage before extending a hand to your figure that still sat on the ground.
And when you lifted your head to meet his own eyes, you felt the rotation in heeseung’s room slow. Out of nowhere the wind that whispered against the windows sounded muffled, heeseung’s shuffling in his bed went unnoticed when your eyes were locked on jaeyun, where thousands of thoughts swirled and swam around his iris, but both of your hearts slowed when the two of you saw way further than anyone else.
A clear pathway to each other’s souls.
“Are you okay?” He asked breathlessly, still under the trance of your presence that seemed to bewitch him entirely, “yeah…” responding with your voice distant, miles further away in a tornado of feelings before jaeyun shook his hand in front of you again which easily pulled you out of the hypnotic state he seemed to have on you.
The second your fingers interlaced his own, a sudden rush of electricity blasted against your nerves, sparks of excitement with bright glows that challenged your golden dust clouded your locked hands, you were able to feel all of these signs of the universe that stated your meeting with your soulmate, you were sure jaeyun felt it too.
The charming smile that spread across his face while his eyes poured love and adoration confirmed all of your thoughts.
God you two were so in love from the first second.
The quiet thud of the cup of tea in front of jaeyun popped his little daydream bubble and brought him back to reality, he smiled when he saw you taking your seat in front of him with your own cup filled with the hot beverage while you looked at him with your eyes mirroring his own fond ones.
Jaeyun was convinced that you had other kinds of superpowers besides being a fairy, one that had to involve enchanting him entirely and wrapping him tightly around your pinky finger, one that had to explain the reason why he could feel lightness spreading in his chest, extending along his body till the tips of his toes and his fingers.
“Is it good?” You questioned after having your own sip of your tea, expectancy laced your tone as if Jaeyun wasn’t going to have thee most delicious beverage to ever coat his tongue in a few seconds, god you didn’t even know how perfect you were.
He nodded to your own words without even paying any mind to the fact that he hadn’t even tasted the tea, making your eyebrows furrow but before you could say anything else, he spoke. “Did you know that sandmen exist because of fairies?” You hummed in confusion to his words to which he smiled at.
“The first sandman… was deeply in love with a fairy.” He began, his voice distant as if he was reminiscing the memory of his first love himself, the sight of him getting lost in his own thoughts at the idea of his own words were enough to have you blushing, cheeks tinted even with the cold air of the rain around you both.
“One night, his fairy had fallen asleep before him.” He swirled the hot liquid in his cup, “so he stared at her twitching wings that dripped with her dust as she dreamt.” You nodded along to his words, immersing yourself in the story as much as your lover has, especially since it seemed like a reflection of the two of you.
“What happened then?” You piqued making jaeyun hum before breathing in softly to continue, his eyes remained stuck on the moving tea that shined with your golden dust beneath the fireflies, “he decided to try something to hopefully put himself to sleep.” One of his hands snaked on the table to toy with your fingers before interlacing your pinky fingers.
“He picked up some of the magical dust from the bedsheets, they glowed a soft blue indicating that his fairy was in a deep sleep.” His voice picked up in pitch as he neared the point of his story, the smile that never faltered from his face stretched further while his fingers now grew restless against yours as you nodded along to urge him to finish.
“And he placed it on his eyelids.” He chuckled, the story now sounding adorably funny as it tumbled past his lips, the old story of how his own creation came to life seemed laugh worthy for him now, as the love in the story strangely resembled the one he held in his heart for you now.
You chuckled at the story, lowering your eyes shyly at the loving ending that also reminded you of your lover who sat in front of you, seemingly too busy interlocking his hand with yours atop the wooden table.
“Strange story of your beginning.” You spoke, eyes now trailing to the gold that continuously twisted in circular motions in the cup, “very. and it’s all thanks to you. ” He replied, his other hand reaching to grasp onto the cup and bring the rim between his plump lips.
“Seems like our kind have always been destined to one another.” He voiced out all the thoughts and theories that spiralled in your brain, confirming all of your suspicions and squishing all of your surprise at his words in a soft gasp that went past your throat, “yeah, always.” You spoke as he began to gulp down the tea.
It was moments like these that you appreciated your late arrival to heeseung’s room which allowed you to bump into the sandman that your whole life revolved around now. Moments where his chestnut hair glowed a breathtaking gold shade that made him appear more magical, where his eyes took the appearance of melted chocolate with stars swirling in them and when his mere smile was able to knock the breath out of your lungs.
“I love you.” You confessed, surprised by your sudden words but not regretting them, not after jaeyun’s beautiful eyes grew in size and his ears reddened. “I love you too, my precious.” He spoke.
And before the two of you could fully immerse yourself in each other’s company, get lost with the smell of rain surrounding the two of your bodies while the fireflies provided you warmth— a little spark appeared next to the window.
Where a small, shining yellow portal opened up to garner both you and jaeyun’s attention when your heads snapped towards the portal that revealed your friend’s exasperated expression, “we’ve been waiting for you two love birds to finish your stupidly cute date for the past hou—“ sunoo got cut off by a hand that quickly wrapped around his mouth before it pulled him slightly back inside of the portal, “take your time, don’t worry about him!” Jungwon popped up behind him to assure you to continue your ‘date’.
Their wings fluttered against one another, while sunoo’s was surrounded with a red glow, jungwon’s had bright pink falling off his wings, an indication of how flustered and embarrassed he was to interrupt your intimate moment with jaeyun, to which the two of you bursted laughing at.
And at the sound of your laughter, both sunoo and jungwon’s dust turned a hot pink colour.
Yet before the two of you could even respond to the fairies that stood stiffly with one leg inside of the portal to fairy land while the other was on the window sill’s surface, jaeyun’s fingers that interlaced yours got yanked out of your hold.
Your head swiftly turned to the sight of jaeyun’s bestfriends pulling his arms and body away from the table, with countless yells and protests being exchanged between the trio while you, sunoo and jungwon only watched in surprise.
“You said you’d be gone for only fifteen minutes you asshole!” Jay yelled, his grip on jaeyun’s arm tightening more as he dragged him towards their own blue portal while Jaeyun fought his hardest to break free from their grip, “it’s been an hour! Do you know how many people we put to sleep instead of you?!” Sunghoon added more fire into the fuel, “you both are acting like I’ve never covered for you!” Jaeyun yelled back.
“I think it’s better that we leave now.” Sunoo suddenly whispered into your ear while jungwon only nodded to his words on the other side of your ear, you shook your head before getting up from your own seat just in time to hear jaeyun’s “I’ll be back soon, baby!” And with that final yell, the blue portal that belonged to the sandmen closed with the final tufts of clouds dispersing behind it.
“You two get going, I’ll follow you.” The pair of fairies nodded before disappearing on the other side of the portal, you hastily moved to place the two empty cups besides the wooden box, walking to the window and fluttering your glowing wings to fly towards heeseung’s sleeping figure, your heart wouldn’t be able to rest well if you were to leave without checking up on heeseung.
“I’ll be back soon.” You whispered before placing a gentle kiss on his forehead, careful of not allowing any of your golden dust to land on his face before fleeting back outside the window and disappearing to the other side of the portal that closed up instantly.
Completely missing the quiet tsk that tumbled past heeseung’s smiling lips, you really weren’t discreet with your hiding anymore.
And jaeyun should also change his magical dust formula because this one clearly sucked.

In your debt - Part 3
Young Halsin x Reader
Art belongs to @ozumii-fucking-wizard, I also used their Young Halsin headcanon list as a reference :) i love the idea of him being a bit hotheaded in his younger years hehe
Find Part 1 and Part 2 here.
Slow burn, sorry. But the next part will get spicy, I promise. >:D
Song in this fic:
Warning: Swearing
-----
You awoke on a huge matt, covered in a thick quilt. Your eyes adjusted to the dim light as you scanned your surroundings. You were staring at a large tent peak above you, which swayed sleepily in the wind. You turned your head slightly, examining the area further. Smoldering embers cracked softly in the middle of the room, with various tiny cushions placed around it. A kettle peeped, hovering above the low fire, green steam escaping its mouth. Adorning the tent were many little trinkets: dreamcatchers, windchimes, wooden toys and engraved clay pots decorated the walls and small shelves. The ground looked slightly sandy next to you, furthering the softness of your position. The matt was far too big for you, so was the quilt. You looked like a little mouse had sneaked into the cat’s bed.
You noticed a stinging sensation and remembered what happened with the goblin.
Your hands drifted under the covers to your pulsating side. A thick piece of rough fabric met your fingers and as you pawed along carefully, you realized it was bandaging. The pain was dull, but made its evil presence known.
That’s right. You were with Halsin. In his village.
You had no idea what else the dreamy druid had done while you were knocked out. You must’ve looked like a corpse.
You noticed you were wearing different clothes. This long sleeve tunic wasn’t yours and neither were the wide pants you spied while lifting the covers.
Had he…had he changed you? You blushed at the thought.
Had he seen you naked???
You attempted to sit up, quickly, which turned out to be a mistake. Deciding to prop yourself up carefully, you hovered over your unwounded side, relying on the strength of your arm. You eyed the large mug of water close to you, bringing it hastily to your dry lips.
It tasted so clean. You realized how gross the water really was back in the city.
You finished the water in a few gulps and placed the mug back where you found it.
Just then, your ears picked up a distant conversation. The voices were agitated. You weren’t able to get up and walk towards the entrance, so you strained your ears to listen carefully.
You recognized Halsin’s voice, who sounded exceedingly frustrated.
“So, your solution is just to ignore the looming threat? How on earth can you be so thick?”, he growled at an unknown male speaker.
“That is no tone to take with me, novice. You’re in no position to question my decision”, the other man answered, his tone so low it made the hairs on your arm stand up. Who was this?
You heard repetitive, thudding footsteps. It sounded like someone angrily pacing.
Halsin spoke again, his intonation louder than before: “If they tried once, they will do so again. And with more devastation. More goblins! They want our children for some sick game and you would rather do nothing!”
“The only person making that claim is lying halfdead in your tent. You do not know them. I do not know them! I will not send a group towards certain death because a stranger made a groggy statement!”, the other man met Halsin’s tone, with warning etched within.
You felt your stomach drop. The terrified faces the children had made while Izick was fighting you flashed before you. You knew you were telling the truth, but how could they know that?
“Uncle, they are the reason our children are safely returned to us!” There was a slight pause and you heard him step towards the tent, perhaps pointing. “If they hadn’t intervened, the drow-“
“Silence!”, the man Halsin addressed as uncle bellowed, the echo reverberating through the area.
“I do not care what could or would have happened. I care about the facts of the situation. It was YOUR task to watch over them. And YOU left Zacharia alone so that you could feel like a hero. Zacharia’s death and the possible fate of your brothers’ and sisters’ is on your conscien-“
A mighty roar interrupted the uncle’s chastising. A second followed with thundering thuds and tremors. Slicing through the chaos, you heard an assertive, older woman’s command:
“ENOUGH! Halsin, Dafydd. Stop this nonsense!”
The vibration in the soil ceased slowly, with one still insisting on remaining.
“Halsin…!”, she threatened.
You felt the shaking of the earth stop, finally but reluctantly. With vicious pants from both of the arguing parties, you heard the woman speak once again:
“Halsin, go check on your patient. And you, Dafydd, go do something you deem important. We do not have time for pointless squabbles like this.”
A pause and finally a few grunts of agreement. You heard footsteps leaving and two sets walking towards your tent.
Why were you panicking? It was ok for you to be awake, right?
You hastily pulled the covers over half your face as you lay down a bit too bluntly. You didn’t want them to know you were listening.
The tent flap slid open and you saw Halsin hold it open for the other person.
An older elf woman walked in, her long grey hair tied neatly in elaborate braids. She had exceedingly kind, hazel eyes that met yours with a soft twinkle. Her dark skin glistened with tiny drops of sweat. Her attire was rather casual, it looked like she spent a lot of time outside, judging by her sun kissed, wrinkly nose.
She smiled and you returned it carefully.
“Ah, so this is the savior”, her voice matched the one who had scolded the two men before. Halsin didn’t say anything, but grumpily stomped to the other side of the tent to grab a piece of wood. He started aggressively carving at it with a knife that looked too small for his hands.
The elf lady rolled her eyes and kneeled beside your head: “How are we feeling this morning, duckling?”
You cleared your throat, blinking a bit confused at the last word, but sat up slowly, while she helped you up: “Uh… I think… ok?”
Your words sounded unrecognizably hoarse.
The older elf conjured a gentle, yellow light from her palm and lay her hand on your shoulder. Closing her eyes, you felt a wonderous thrum from her touch.
“Mmh, yes. Healing slow but nicely”, she opened her eyes, winked at you and turned her head towards the tall druid, who was still chopping viciously at the tiny block of wood.
“Good thinking with the ginkgo leaves, son. Their organs are healing quickly”, she kept her gaze fixed on him. He met her eyes briefly, let out a rough “Hm” as a response and continued shaving.
You looked at Halsin, too. His furious aura engulfed the entire tent. His brows were frowning so intensely that you could barely see his calming eyes. This was his mother? They looked nothing alike. And she was so much older.
The woman turned back to you, deciding to ignore the brewing giant in the corner.
“I’m Anwen, elder druid of the High Forest. I assume you know who the sulking moose over there is”, she gestured vaguely at Halsin, who grunted and continued whittling more aggressively.
You nodded, trying to stop yourself from laughing. The hissy fit was a bit comical coming from such a large man, but you understood where the anger came from.
“Y/N…” you lay a hand on your chest, indicating yourself. “Thank you for … uh…” you were looking down at the clean garb you were wearing.
Halsin blushed excessively in the corner of your eye, turning to face the tent wall.
Anwen grinned: “Well, well, now I know where my sleepwear went.”
You stared at her anxiously.
“Oh, don’t worry. You need it more than I do right now”, she placated.
Your eyes wandered to the back of Halsin’s head. You could see the blushing had increased. So, he had changed you…
“Duckling, I am beyond thankful that you came to my children’s aid. They all won’t stop talking about you and your rescue. I’m sure they’d be happy to meet you properly, once your strength allows”, Anwen tugged at your cover, pulling it over you more and forcing you to lie back down.
You obliged.
“Halsin tells me you overheard something from the goblins. Something about the children…”, she patted the cover close to your chest.
You explained what you had heard before you intervened. Elder Anwen listened intently, nodding along as you described the attire the goblins were wearing to the best of your ability. She thanked you kindly and exited the tent, addressing Halsin to join her in prayer at sundown. This left you alone with the handsome druid.
He finally placed his craft on the sideboard next to his carving knife, leaning against the board and letting out a deep, irked sigh. You didn’t know what to say, so you just watched him.
The silence lingered between you for a bit, when he finally turned to you and tried to smile.
“Sorry. I’m glad you’re doing better.” He approached the side of your matt and squatted down. “I should change your bandage…”
You nodded after realizing you had been staring at him for too long and pushed the cover off your upper half. Hesitating slightly, you lifted the tunic to reveal your nursed belly.
Halsin sat down on the sand and started taking the binding off carefully. You let out small hisses, as he pulled the adhesive off your wound. You saw leaves sticking to the side of the band that lay directly on the most sensitive area. These were presumably the ginkgo leaves Anwen had mentioned before. He grabbed the teapot from the fireplace and filled a goblet with steaming, green water.
You beheld his work in silence, as he dabbed a soaking cloth on your abdomen. He conjured more healing magic with his hands, which hovered over your belly for some time. The comforting humming of his incantation joined the low purring of the fire. The dull light of the tent danced across his face, which seemed absent and deep in thought.
“Thank you for…all of this...”, you cut through the quiet, realizing you hadn’t really thanked him for saving your life.
Your words seemed to snap him out of something. He blinked hard and turned his head towards you, as his hand floated above your stomach.
His smile grew warmer and your heart skipped a secret beat: “You needn’t thank me. It’s the least I can do.”
He returned his attention back to nursing you. Watching him work, you felt a gnawing in your throat that you couldn’t ignore any longer.
“… are you alright?”, You had been wanting to ask about the conversation you overheard since he walked in.
Halsin hesitated for a moment, his eyes flitting from your face to his hands.
“It’s nothing you should concern yourself with. You’ve done more than enough,” he murmured.
You thought about the words the other man, Dafydd, had chastised the young druid with. Halsin seemed to be struggling with immense guilt and a need to correct it.
You accepted his unsatisfying answer and let your eyes wander around the tent, as you heard Halsin sigh once more. You didn’t know each other. Why would he share his woes with you? You were just a useless bard that happened to stumble into an unfortunate situation.
You spent the next few days in his tent, having Anwen and Halsin visit you every hour to bring food, drink and give you healing sessions. You were feeling better every day, the throbbing pain slowly dissipating from your lower body. It got to the point, where you even forgot you were hurt to begin with.
Anwen told you stories about Halsin, whom she adopted as a young boy. Most of the stories were quite embarrassing and you enjoyed learning about his mischievous nature. He carried himself with immense grace whenever he was around you, but you secretly knew he had a massive fear of moths and used to hide in baskets or pots to avoid druid training. He grew more relaxed each passing day, as well, showing off his collection of wood carvings you’d been eyeing in the corner of the tent, realizing you were someone easy to speak to.
You left the tent from time to time, as well, and were allowed to join in meals and share stories with the rest of the villagers. The village had been damaged by the attack, but not by too much. The druids seemed organized enough to fix things swiftly. Everyone treated you kindly.
The children were enthralled with you. They had carved a new, albeit extremely creaky and sad-looking, lute for you as a thank you, which you accepted with warmth surrounding your heart. Their eyes stared up at you, adoringly, as you haphazardly played on your gifted “instrument”, the notes plunking out strained and harsh. Gods, it was ugly. But you loved it anyway.
You learned Dafydd was the archdruid of the High Forest and Anwen’s brother. He was a lanky, older, but tall elf with the same eyes as Anwen, yet lacking her kindness. He had an intense authoritative energy and barely smiled, only nodding to greet you when you joined the circle. The only person he truly listened to was his sister and he was extremely harsh with the rest of the novice druids whom he trained, especially Halsin.
The children begged you to join them in their barn one night, where you learned Halsin slept while you occupied his tent. They dragged you to the heaps of straw, showing off their own attempts at carvings. You spied a larger wooden object hiding under a thin, massive blanket. That was most likely where Halsin slept, judging by the size of the bedroll. You decided not to pry.
The kids requested you sing them to sleep, as the orange sunrays drifted through the small cracks in the wooden walls. They were all snuggled together, glittering eyes blinking expectedly up at you, as you sat on a large bundle of hay.
How could you say no to them?
You started humming softly, watching them curl up closer to each other and stare at you with their little faces. You thought back to a gentle lullaby you had thought of, while you were wandering through a small village, which had a tradition of burning old keepsakes, in order to release them to the spirit world. You had been writing it below the Oaktree you always visited in the High Forest.
You didn’t need an instrument to keep the rhythm going, as the music flowed from your lips naturally:
I smelt smoke
On the wheezing of the wind when I awoke
A pyre of memory
Some fly-tipped treasury
Out there burning slow
Dark soaked fields
And the snuffling wet noses at my heels
Suddenly hackles raise
At the crackling of the blaze
Out there burning slow
And sometimes I catch him
With his axe in
The shadow
So secretive and private,
But I’m breathing in his life when
He’s out there burning slow
You repeated the lines a few times, until you noticed every chest of the children moving slowly up and down in a sweet cadence.
You heard someone behind you and turned to see Halsin leaning against the open door, the dark night behind him, his arms crossed:
“Beautiful tune. Been long since I’ve heard it.”
You blinked at him in stunned silence. He had heard it before?
He chuckled, noticing your confusion: “I told you Thaniel is fond of you. He likes to sing me your songs. The children do, too. Now I’ve had the pleasure of hearing it from the origin’s mouth, as intended.”
“Oh, wow… I didn’t know a forest spirit liked music…”, you pondered that thought, wondering what this Thaniel being was. If he had been listening all this time, where had he been hiding himself while you played on the riverbank?
Halsin joined you, sitting down on the hay ball. The might of his body made your side move up a bit, leaving your legs to dangle. He watched the children sleep, with a permanent smile on his face.
“Aren’t they precious?”, he cooed and you nodded with a silent chuckle, as one ork boy snored gently.
“Oh wait, one moment!”, Halsin stood up and tiptoed to the large bedroll, pulling the woodwork from under the draping.
He hid it behind his back, which worked amazingly, since he was so wide.
“Close your eyes,” he grinned.
You complied and waited with a secret shortness of breath. He had made something for you?
“Open,” he purred, sweetly.
As you opened your eyes, you were met with a beautifully crafted lute. The wood had been engraved with lovely vines and flowers.
Your mouth dropped open.
Halsin hurriedly sat beside you again, the hay ball raising you once again, as he handed you the intricately constructed instrument. The feel of the soft oak gave you goosebumps and the redness in your face was impossible to hide.
The strings were firm and carefully strung into place. You plucked a few softly. It sounded heavenly.
“This- what- how- why-…” you couldn’t string a coherent sentence together. Halsin chuckled.
“The children told me you sacrificed your lute to save them. The one they made for you is ...cute... , but I thought you needed a proper one.”
You gaped at him. You had never gotten such a thoughtful gift in your entire life.
You felt tears bite your eyes, but you blinked them away.
“Gods…thank you Halsin…I- I don’t know what to say. It’s marvelous!”
His smiled widened: “It’s the least I can do, I’m in your debt, remember?”
You smiled back, gazing at the artwork.
Moments passed as you both watched the sleeping children quietly. Your heart was still racing from the tremendous gesture.
You felt Halsin’s shoulders tense up as his face collapsed into the thoughtful one you first encountered in the tent.
You gulped inaudibly and decided maybe now he would be more open to talking to you. You had this urge to soothe him, especially after receiving the lute.
“Are you still bothered by what the Archdruid said?”, the words just spilled out of you. You realized it would indicate you had overheard the conversation and your throat closed up. “I’m sorry, I don’t mean to pry…” your hands fidgeted around the lute as you nervously babbled on.
Halsin let out a brief gust of air between his nostrils. He nodded a bit, unbothered by your question.
“It’s just…”, he stopped himself. You saw his hands tremor slightly, “Dafydd is such a…such a…”
Your brows furrowed in concern.
Halsin took another deep breath, calming his slight shaking: “I didn’t abandon Zacharia. He told me to go and help. He told me he would take the children to the thicket and hide. I didn’t know those damned goblins were tailing us.” The words tumbled out of him with quiet agony staining his intonation.
You sat up a bit straighter, put the lute down on the ground and turned more towards him, unsure what else to contribute, but offering your ear.
Halsin balled a fist, as he watched one of the girls turn over in her sleep.
“Dafydd won’t go after that filth that tried to steal them. Says it’s pointless and risky and hotheaded. But what if they come back? Perhaps with an army of drow instead of stupid goblins. What if they get their hands on them and…” You heard his knuckles crack as he flexed his fist more.
He realized what he was doing with his hand and released his grip.
“I have to do something. I can’t just sit by and hope for the best.” His eyes scanned the barn floor, then finally met your worried gaze. The jade hue sparkled in the moonlight. You buried the thought about how handsome he was, while you focused on his problem.
You let his words swirl in your mind for a while. You never had any contact with Lolth sworn drows, just the kind ones that had escaped that fanaticism to Baldur’s Gate. At least you assumed they were Lolth sworn, you didn’t know of any other drow group that would do such a thing.
You agreed with Halsin. It was a terrible threat and a danger for the children to have the sheer possibility of another kidnapping exist.
“The thought haunts me, too. So, I understand how you feel”, your voice was almost a whisper, in fear of waking the sleeping souls, “It’s a huge risk to let them conspire in the dark.”
Halsin nodded. He leaned forward, holding his weight on his legs with his elbows.
He seemed to be at war with himself, unsure if he should tell you something. His eyes scanned you and you felt your body shake. A thought of what his lips tasted like invaded you, which you blinked away ashamedly.
Focus.
You attempted to hide your racy thoughts with a stupidly fake cough.
Halsin sat up again and bit his lip. Then he grabbed your hands and held them within his own. A brush of heat sizzled up your spine. He was so close to you.
“I’m going after them. I need a few nights to prepare, but then I’ll track those miscreants down. Frelma and Danan have agreed to come with me. Three is better than one. I have no idea if we’ll survive such an assault, but it’s better than sitting here and waiting for the next attack. We’re still concocting a plan. The drow are too dangerous to let live.”
His eyes bore into yours, a shred of relief after finally telling someone clouding them: “Please. Do not tell anyone, especially not Dafydd.”
You stared into his forest eyes, that quivered with anticipation at your response. You tried your absolute most not to lean in and clasp your lips in his, although every sinew within you yearned for it. Why was he so Gods-damn fine?
FOCUS.
“I’m coming with you.”
The phrase escaped from you. You couldn’t believe what you just said. Neither could the druid, who still held your hands gently.
He tilted his head, pacifyingly, his eyes softening sweetly: “You are braver than anyone I’ve ever met. But that would be quite foolish. No, you will stay here until you’re fully heale-.”
“I insist.”
OH MY GODS, SHUT UP.
Your insides were screaming at you, what the fuck were you thinking? What would you contribute? Battle music? You would only be in the way.
Halsin let out a soft laugh, lowering your hands but still holding onto them. He shook his head and gazed at you:
“You’re a fascinating person, truly. But I cannot allow you to-“
You released your hand from his grasp and held up a finger. An idea sparked within you. An extremely stupid idea.
“I know I can’t fight. But I can run.”
Halsin’s brow furrowed, waiting for an explanation.

Monstertober 2024 - day 22 [ Mommy's little monsters ] by @ozzgin
[ kobold & centaur x dom fem!reader ]
content: light femdom, cock/pussy spanking, sex toy (not really lol), orgasm denial
Calling them your little monsters isn't exactly accurate. Some of them, like goblins and fairies, truly are. But most of them are quite larger than you or any human you know.
But you take care of them. You make sure they have everything they need. And you don't tolerate disobedience. All the monsters in this building are minor criminals and you are their corrections officer.
"Hey, doll, come give me a kiss." One of the new kobolds smacks their lizard snout imitating a smooch. You stop walking and return in front of their cell. Kobold immediately retreats, seeing something in your eyes that scares them.
"You want a kiss?" You enter the cell and spin your baton. "Cock out, inmate."
Kobold immediately drops their pants and you use your baton to smack their flaccid cock. The inmate whimpers. You slap them a few more times until their phallus becomes more firm and erect. You smirk. "Don't ever call me doll, okay? I'm your CO, ma'am or madam, is that clear?"
Kobold with a now very obvious hard-on nods. "Yes, ma'am."
"Good job," you coo and lean downward to kiss them on the scaly forehead.
You move to the next cell, a lot bigger than the last one, where a pretty centaur girl was stretching. "Hello, inmate 889. How are you today?"
She doesn't reply so you lightly hit her horse ass. "I'm sure you just didn't hear me. I said hello."
She clicks with her tongue. "I heard you. I'm busy." And she leans her human part forward, touching her horse knees. She is covered with a special equidae type of scrubs, but hey are easily removable as any others. You pull them down a bit and rub your baton just below her tail. "Hey, what are you doing back there?"
"You are naughty, inmate 889." She huffs in annoyance, but doesn't change her position, staying bent down. You are sure she smirks, the brat. You hit her pussy with your baton and she jolts upwards. "Such a naughty girl deserves spanking, doesn't she?"
Looking over her shoulder she pouts in a most adorable way and you spank her a few more times before slowly pushing your tool inside her pussy. She moans. "Ah... yes..."
Her big centaur pussy needs a lot more than your short baton, but you two played many times and you know exactly how to please her. You keep fucking her puffy and meaty pussy, edging her. You always slow down just as soon as her panting speeds up. "Fuck... you..." she whispers but you hear her.
"Tsk, tsk, potty mouth. No, big O for you, inmate." And you yank your baton out with a moist squelch.
You lock the cell door behind you. Followed by angry centaur cursing and hoof stomping, you continue to the next cell and next inmate. How will they behave today?
