My soap bar is in a little scrubby twine net bag so it's easier for me not to drop it (given tremors and grip issues) and it A) makes the soap suds up extra nice, and B) is literally the only soap scrubbing/massaging method I will use in the shower ever again because my skin seems to take to it way better than any other method I've tried (bare hands, washcloth/rag, loofah which is weird and terrible, those weird and terrible exfoliative gloves, sponges??????, and those weird lil kiddo scrubbie buddies which are actually my second favorite because they're so cute and also very easy to hang onto)

Very pro having a nice handy lil cotton twine net with a wrist ribbon to hold your soap. Super convenient physically, literally always end up with clean, healthy, non-distressed skin, no matter what I'm scrubbing off.

From Goats to Oats

With the coming of spring, personal care product maker Caryl B introduces luxurious and all natural oatmeal soaps. In addition to the goat milk soap that debut this past fall, Caryl Brandes, founder and owner of Caryl B products also offers a variety of bath salts, lotions and creams.

All of these products are intended to help cleanse and moisturize the skin naturally without harsh chemicals or abrasive additives usually found even in some of the most high-end brands.

With its nutrient qualities as food for the body, oatmeal has long been used to help skin soothe and heal. This has been known for not just decades but for centuries. The ancient Greeks and Romans noted using oats to help treat skin.

Even as far back as ancient Egypt and in parts of the Arabian Peninsula the use of oats on the skin was known.

One reason for oats having an effect upon the skin is because of its gentle but also its polyphenols of beta-glucan and peptides. These and other intrinsic properties within oats help the skin to hydrate, moistening to relieve abrasions, dryness and some forms of swelling.

Official standardized use of oatmeal in a clinical manner to treat and care for skin has been in effect for over 15 years, by the (FDA) - U.S. Food & Drug Administration.

Pointing out its ability to also help as a facial and beauty regime, Brandes noted. “Oatmeal Soap is creamy as it is moisturizing, with a gentle Oatmeal exfoliant."

Offered in Grapefruit and Tea Tree, the soap has oatmeal and ground sea salt. “The Citrus fragrance is refreshing, says Brandes. This is a lovely cleansing bar.”

These two new soaps are offered as a set of three in a cello bag, ready to make your bath or shower time special.
