💿 wooyoung's setlist 💿

“Thank you.” You sweetly smile at the security guard at the door, brushing your way past the hefty line that ran down the block with your bestfriend, Yeosang. The club is already incredibly packed from wall to wall, the music’s vibrations felt at the base of your feet. For a minute, you didn’t actually think you’d make it inside in time. The security guard at the door wasn’t taking your sweet smiles, frowning as you bat your eyelashes in hopes of letting you skip the line simply because you knew the DJ. He definitely didn’t believe you, nor was he trying to give you the time of day. You didn’t let up though, and as if on cue, he received confirmation from the team inside that you and Yeosang were a part of the DJ’s crew.

Thank god.

Because that line was not it.

“It’s so fucking loud in here!” Yeosang yells as he turns back to look at you amidst the crowd chaos.

“We’re almost there!” You squeeze his hand as he platonically holds onto yours, leading you to the front of the crowd and up to the DJ booth.

“Never invite me out again if you just plan on seeing your boyfriend or whatever.” 

“Not my boyfriend.”

“Yeah, whatever. Close enough.” You laugh when you finally approach the steps up to the stage, the security guard letting you slip through with Yeosang right at your hip. Heading up to the stage, you greet your friends Mingi, San and Yunho as they dance around with a few other familiar faces and sip on their drinks. Wooyoung is the main DJ for tonight’s event, and he’s having the time of his life— doing what he loves to do, with the people he loves most around him. The crowd is feeding into his energy as he smoothly transitions into the next song, dancing and singing along before finally breaking contact from his mixer and glancing over at you.

“Woo!”

“Whattup! You made it.” He smiles, bringing you flush against him for a hug and a chaste kiss to the temple. You blush at his attempt to subtly squeeze at your side, biting on his bottom lip before shifting his headphones enough to partially cover his ear. The thing about Wooyoung is that you adore him. You adore him because he’s been one of your good friends for some time now. You adore him because he brings you happiness, because he’s a good time. You adore him because of these unspoken feelings, that unlabeled ‘friends with benefits but everyone knows you two are feeling each other so why hide’ kinda thing. You haven’t done much besides innocently flirt around, make out a few times, dance at events together, engage in a few heated conversations over the phone, full send with the thirst traps. The chemistry is well and alive; you suppose by now you and Wooyoung would’ve figured things out since it was too obvious to your friends already, but the both of you seem to brush it off, still shying away from it— afraid of ruining the dynamic that’s already there with said label. Something that started off so fun, so innocent, ended up digging a little space in your heart, making you feel things you shouldn’t for your ‘lil past-time.

But, Wooyoung would move mountains for you, just so you know. He’s dying to make this different. Different from the others, different from anything he’s ever dealt with. Because you are different, and he’ll show you every chance he gets.

“Aw, look at you supporting Woo at his event.” Yunho pinches your cheek, his own painted with a red tint from the alcohol he’s been downing.

“Of course. He was so excited about it, ever since he started planning it out and everything.”

“You guys make things so complicated for no reason.” Yunho laughs. “Despite the friends with benefits bullshit, you know we can tell you two actually have feelings for each other, right?”

“Wow, I didn’t know I came to the club to be lectured by Jeong Yunho.” You laugh, gently pinching at his arm. “We don’t like each other. That’s all we are.” He rolls his eyes.

“Continue to convince yourself if that’s easiest, Y/N. Just want you two to be happy.” You lick your lips, jolting at the sudden roar that comes from the crowd when Woo transitions into another hype, upbeat song.

“Aye, can we get some shots, please? Gotta take one with Yeo and the pretty ‘lil thing right there.” He signals by making a glass-shape with his hand, tilting it back a few times until the bartender off to the side throws him a thumbs up. He looks at you with a smirk, quickly winking before he’s grabbing the mic and hyping the crowd up some more.

The shots turn into two, three, five maybe, before the world is spinning a little more than usual; off-balance and vision slightly blurry. You’re still coherent, and you’re still able to make sense of your surroundings. But the one thing you do find yourself struggling with is how good Wooyoung looks at the table. You try to brush it off, dancing around with your friends and loudly singing along to the songs that blast through the speakers.

“Having fun?” Wooyoung sets the headphones off to the side and steps back from the table to enjoy some company for a bit.

“Yeah, you’re not so bad after all.” You playfully punch him on the bicep and he laughs.

“You look so good tonight.” He says in your ear, pulling you flush against his body again— hand resting on the small of your back. “Gonna give me a bit of your time?”

“I don’t know, should I?” 

“Tease. All those pictures and you can’t even spare me a minute.” He taps your nose and heads back to the table. It’s a few more minutes of Wooyoung hyping the crowd, San and Mingi both welcoming lapdances from a few cuties they met throughout the night while exploring out on the floor. Before you know it, you’re pulled mid-conversation with Yeo and Yunho— familiar hands resting on your waist. You feel Wooyoung push against you, guiding your hips against him for a dance. You love dancing with Woo because it’s fun, and there’s no pressure or expectation to be a certain way with him.

You live for that shit.

And tonight, you need him a little more than usual. In more ways than usual. Tippy-toeing into dangerous territory that makes you wanna act on your feelings.

You’re having to hold onto the edge of the table as Wooyoung bends you over ever so slightly, letting you work your ass against him to the music. He bites onto his bottom lip as he focuses on you, only you, matching your rhythm to the beat. You change your position, no longer leaning onto the edge of the table; back only inches away from Wooyoung. You lean to the side in order to get a better view of him from over your shoulder as you work your ass in slow, circular motions against him. The both of you let out a few laughs in between, focused on each other as if no one else was around. The grip on your hip tightens when Wooyoung’s free hand glides down your back in an effort to bend you over again. Your hands fall to your knees, picking up your pace to match the new song that comes on. 

Wooyoung matches your energy so well it’s no wonder you never want to dance with anyone else the same way you do with him.

The dancing with Wooyoung continues for a bit more before he’s tapping out, tapping your hips once the song finishes. You stand to put some distance between you two, but he keeps you close; arm wrapped around your waist when you turn to look at him.

“I swear to God, Y/N.” He leans into your ear. “You make everything so difficult for me.”

“Doubt that.” He chuckles.

“Oh, you have no idea.” 

“The DJ is being fake and forgetting his set!” San teases. You blush and push him away, allowing him to get back to his craft in the meantime.

The next two and a half hours go by with a breeze, and you find your energy diminishing as the night continues to go on. You find yourself hugging closer to the wall behind the stage, leaning your head against Yeo’s shoulder— watching as San and Mingi continue to dance around and find a few pretties to get to know. Wooyoung turns over his shoulder a few times, tugging on your hand, flirting with you in a way he knows will get you to fold so quick; buckle at the knees, shyly giggle against him from all the cute ‘lil compliments that slip from his lips.

“Tryna go soon?” Yeosang asks near your ear. “Kinda over it.” He laughs.

“Yeah, I am, too! Let me just say goodbye to everyone.” You head to Yunho first, giving him a bear hug before letting San and Mingi playfully hug you and spin you around. “Hey.” You tug on Wooyoung’s hand, causing him to shift the headphones up so he could hear you.

“You’re leaving?” He frowns a bit.

“Yeah! Time for us to head out.” You smile, but he pouts.

“Where are you going?” He looks down at you, brushing the hair away from your face. “Don’t wanna stick around to grab a bite to eat with everyone after?”

“No, I’m tired. Yeo and I are probably just gonna grab something quick on the road before he drops me off.” He pouts even more.

“Gonna make me miss you.”

“Don’t say stuff like that, Woo.” He continues to pout anyway, hand coming to squeeze your side again in an endearing way.

“Can I text you later, then?”

“If I’m up.”

“I need you to be up. Please?”

“For what, exactly?” You chuckle.

“Your company.” He puckers his lips. “Tryna give me a kiss before you head out?”

“Get out.” You laugh.

“Just fuck and get together already!” Mingi says loudly with a hearty laugh. Woo turns to flip him off before shifting his attention back to you.

“Okay, please?” He repeats. “Promise me you’ll be up?”

“Get back to the crowd. I’ll be up.” You reassure him, gently pushing him towards the table. He nibbles at this bottom lip before heading back to his set. You nod over to Yeosang and start making your way out of the club, holding onto his hand as he leads the way again. Once you get outside, the cold air feels good against your sticky, warm skin. You let out a deep breath, keeping your body close to your bestfriend to keep some kind of warmth. 

“I don’t know why you just don’t tell him.” Yeosang says as he continues to walk alongside you on the way to the car parked on the opposite end of the block.

“I have nothing to tell him.”

“Y/N, please.” Yeosang chuckles. “We know.” You roll your eyes and sigh.

“Why is everyone on my case about him tonight?”

“I don’t know, maybe because you two should just quit the act and get together already?” He snorts. “You should at least try when you guys get some alone time later.”

“Who said we will?”

“I know you, you’ll stay up for him.” Yeosang gives you a look before gently nudging you. “Until then, what do you wanna stop by for?”

“I don’t know, I’m not too hungry. Truthfully, I’d be satisfied with some good ol’ fries and an ice cream cone.” You laugh and Yeo nods while swinging his keys around his finger.

“Got it.” He unlocks the door. “Get in princess, we need to get your fries and ice cream before Woo comes over.” You scold him as you settle into the passenger’s seat, recalling some events from the night as he drives off to the nearest fast food joint for the best fries nearby. 

When Yeosang finally drops you off at home, you’ve completely devoured your fries and ice cream cone, and you find yourself slowly dragging yourself up to your studio. The club had just closed, so you weren’t expecting to hear from Wooyoung for awhile. You let out a satisfied sigh when you slip out of your shoes, kicking them off to the side before tossing your bag and keys onto the table. You make a beeline for the shower, more than ready to wash off the club and get into something comfortable. It’s a quick one, though; a good 10 minutes under the hot water with that coconut body scrub you love so much before stepping out and lathering up with some body cream. You toss on an oversized shirt and crash onto your bed, feeling incredibly happy to be in your own safe space.

You wonder what Wooyoung is doing.

It’s crazy because at this point, it feels like the universe is listening closely to your thoughts— especially when a ding comes through on your phone and puts a big smile on your face.

It wasn’t anything new to have Wooyoung come over, but he usually comes to hang out for an hour or so before he’s leaving to head back to his own place. Amidst all your overthinking, you surprisingly do fall asleep in those 15-20 minutes. You’re awoken by your front door closing, along with Wooyoung’s loud ass keys dangling from his keychain and hitting his thigh with every step he takes. 

“Did you fall asleep?” He giggles when tosses his belongings onto your desk and plops onto your bed.

“I did fall asleep for a bit.” You yawn and fix your position a bit, Wooyoung laying next to you on his tummy.

“I didn’t even take that long, did I?”

“No, but I can’t be tired?! Damn.” He snorts.

“Sorry, sorry.” He kisses the tip of your nose, his arm draped over you. Hand caressing your side under your shirt. He looks at you for a split second before he leans in to peck you on the lips, smiling into the kiss just as he pulls back. “So, did you have fun?”

“I did. You played a good set tonight, Woo.”

“I did, huh?” You laugh.

“Did you have fun?”

“It was so fucking fun.” He laughs. “I just wished you stayed ‘till the end. Everyone seemed boo’d up and I was just the lonely ass DJ playing for the crowd.”

“Please. I’m sure you still had fun until then.”

“I did, but it wasn’t the same without you.” You give him a tiny, toothless smile, hand brushing through his soft black hair. 

“When’s your next one?”

“Why, huh?” He smirks. “An excuse to dance up on me again?”

“Excuse you, you pulled me for a dance!” You playfully swat him on the shoulder.

“Yeah, and? I’ll do it again at the next one.” He pulls out his phone. “I’m doing something next weekend with a few other DJs. Wanna come?”

“Sure. I don’t think Yeo would go, though. I practically dragged his ass out for this one.”

“Okay.” Wooyoung types something on his phone before tossing it aside, full attention on you again. “Promise me you’ll actually stay until the end. Gimme a chance to show you off, too.”

“Wooyoung.” You giggle. He tickles your sides, causing you to squeal and kick your feet before he lets you breathe. You find Wooyoung staring at you again, and it causes your heart to do major flips.

“You did too, I guess.” You tease and he bites onto his bottom lip, leaning forward for another kiss.

I want to answer these both for Luna & Willow but I’m going to make 2 separate posts because it’s going to be too long 😅 thank you for all of the questions at once fr tho because I’m laid up sick and this gave me some serious thinking to do 💕

First, WILLOW 🌿

1. What would your Tav’s greetings be (at different levels of approval)?

Neutral: Oh, hi! What’s going on?

Low: *crosses arms* Make it quick.

High: Don’t just stand there, tell me what you need.

Romanced: My heart sings just to look upon you. // I’ve been waiting to see that face again. What do you need?

3. What would their character quest be titled? Why?

The Lost Bard — I feel like most of the companion quests are based off of first impressions, and Willow would be very slow to give any information other than the fact that she is a bard who has only been living in Baldurs Gate for a short time and doesn’t really have a home she needs to return to.

7. Describe their arc. How would a player help resolve it? What choices can be made? Can your Tav be turned down a dark path, or pulled to a lighter one?

Willow is a bit like Shadowheart in the sense that she could totally go either way, down a dark path or a light path depending on how convincing the player is about it, but she would feel bad about the destruction of the grove. She doesn’t have an extremely strong moral compass from the beginning, because she had been living on the streets of Baldurs Gate and has never really had anyone to set an example for her. Her main goal is to get the tadpole out of her head. Her biggest story conflict would be deciding whether to stay with the group or wander off on her own, unsure if she really fits in with such powerful, strong-willed individuals.

13. What is your Tav’s main color palette? Why do they choose those colors?

Willow is so full of whimsy when it comes to clothing, so she loves to wear different shades of blue, light pinks, and metallic detailing. I spend wayyy too much time on Pinterest when it comes to Willow/dealbreaker outfit inspo.

I also love to dye the bard outfit from Volo light pink or light blue!! It’s so cute!

24. What does your Tav consider to be their own biggest character flaw?

Astarion, lol. Really, Willow is very self aware and knows that her lack of direction/conviction is a problem. She tries to make up for it by following along with those who she thinks are setting the best example, namely Wyll or Gale.

But if a particularly cute elf man begs her to do something that she knows is diabolical and the rest of the group disagrees with… well, she folds.

HM. YKNOW, with as many times as I've personally romanticized the story of Eden (in an ex-christian, probably heretical/blasphemous way) myself, you'd think I'd've realized sooner.

Her name is EDEN.

His is LUCIEN.

I'VE DEDICATED SO MUCH OF MY BRAIN SPACE TO THINKING, LIKE, "wow it was honestly based af for Lucifer to go and bring knowledge to the humans stuck in Eden, I'd smooch the fallen angel fr fr" AND YET. IT TOOK ME UNTIL THE LATEST CHAPTER TO REALIZE THE NARRATIVE PARALLELS FJJFJFND

god I do love the story so far tho 🥺 gnaws on my phone... we love the allegory. We love the themes (even if we're a little slow on the uptake lmao).

No one ever believes me when I say this but this was not 100% intentional lmao. 

Eden is an old oc, she's incredibly flawed and frequently has ill intent. She is selfish and values her own goals more than most other people’s well-being. I called her Eden not only to call to the faux sense of safety she inspires, but also bc more than anything it was important to me that she felt human. Not redeemable or misunderstood, mind you, but fundamentally human and flawed in ways that show aspects of her that are worthy of being understood (something that flawed female characters often do not get as much as male ones do)

For a long time her name was Eve actually, before her apprentice and Lucien were ever created, but it never felt quite right. I really like Eden bc it does give you that sort of sickly sweet sense while I think, also really rooting her in that story of base, fundamental humanity.

She is so incredibly flawed in the way that humans are wont to be. She thinks of herself first, she seeks power and control, and she does it in the name of her own base humanity. (just in the way that readers overwhelming sense of trust and empathy is in the name of hers)

All of that and the whole isolation thing and some other things that I can't mention bc they're spoilers are intentional. 

The Lucien thing fully wasn’t. When creating Lucien I had the reader character (she was not a reader character at the time lol, rip Valentine, ur still the same character but ur name was so cute) in mind and I wasn’t rlly thinking about the whole Eden situation lol, the fact that it lined up so well is either a happy accident or (more likely) my catholic upbringing doing a number on my subconscious lol. 

His name is so close to Lucifers bc I wanted it to feel like he was an archetypal demon, not some exception to the rule. I didn’t want readers to be able to dismiss that fact or distance him from it, it's my way of keeping that front and center.  

The connection between those two names is so serendipitous I frankly cannot believe it lol. Stories have a way of doing that, I’ve found. You form all the themes you can but try as you might, a story will form its own. You just have to adapt to it and make those themes the best they can be. 

So just know ur not alone in missing it for a little longer than you should lol, happens to the best of us my dear

Variety is the spice of life!

Wind was always going to be some kind of bird, and I considered gull for a bit, but I found the parrots and I was like "SCORE" lmao. Oh fr though, macaws can be scary, do not underestimate. XD

Once again I'm up late because I can't sleep, I have a headache, and I'm still freaking out about potentially not graduating this semester. What else is new lol. Like fucking hell will this trash ass period of my life just fucking END ALREADY????? I swear to God being in school for so long has felt like I'm living in some weird ass time warp. The worst part is seeing people my age who have been out for a few years and have been able to travel, build their own life, and actually exercise their independence. Not experiencing those things and not knowing when I will when I so badly want to is pretty embarrassing. It makes me feel delayed compared to my peers.

I know everyone's life is different and life isn't linear, but damn, at times I still feel like my childish, awkward 18 year old self. I think it's because I've recognized that I made a lot of decisions I wasn't actually ready for back then, and I'm realizing how shitty the consequences of that are now. I definitely picked the wrong major. However, there's no way I could've just not gone to college because what else was I gonna do. I didn't realize that I wanted to do fashion until that introspective period of the pandemic. I didn't realize that it was okay to change my mind about goals I once had and to potentially disappoint others in the process. Idk why exactly, but before then I thought that changing your mind, growing as a person, whatever you wanna call it was bad. Like it just made me "fake" or "indecisive" or something like that.

I was also still pretty heavily into manifesting/LOA/toxic positivity, which back then I didn't have the life experience, maturity, or desire to confront the fact that that was a bunch of bullshit that I was taught and that basing some of my life decisions on what I thought I was going to "attract" was dumb af. I only stopped believing in that pseudo-spiritual, pseudoscientific garbage about a year ago. Which by the way, leaving that cult (yes, it's a cult idgaf) after practically growing up in it was easily one of the most difficult things I did. Because it took me years to actually sit with myself and recognize that this was a belief system that was not only damaging, but also not at all science or reality-based like these fraudulent-ass LOA gurus say it is. That shit had a HUGE influence o on me, as well.

So I guess I don't necessarily feel like I'm still the dumbass teenage/early 20s that I was before, but I definitely feel like I'm forced to live as that person sometimes, because much of my external environment from that time period hasn't changed. I still go to the campus that I did when I was 18, I still have a lot of the same personal items (ex. clothes, school supplies, accessories, etc.) from back then, I still have to center my life around school like I did back then, etc.

That's why I feel so fucking trapped. Idk if I'll finish this semester. I really hope I do, but there's a chance that I'll graduate next semester. I dread having to do this shit for another semester, because I no longer want live as the sad college girl who's constantly losing her damn mind over grades and classes that I won't even use in real life. Tbh my entire educational experience hasn't been that great, and I've realized that academia just isn't for me. It's not an environment I thrive in and that's fine. For years I felt guilty about being one of those people who didn't live up to the "high school/college is the best years of your life!" ideal. But I don't feel that way anymore because I've realized there's more to life outside of those stressful, and quite frankly, OVERRATED years of your life. Like fr having gone through college and being almost finished, I can honestly say it's not a big deal if you didn't particularly like those years. Trying to get a degree while balancing a job, your social life, your health, and your sanity is fucking HARD and from what I've witnessed, damn near an impossible standard. I don't know a single person who had all of that shit together. There were good moments, but I would NEVER revisit this shit ever again.

I have a lot of plans for after I graduate. I plan on starting my own business and revamping some of the stuff I had for it before. I also plan on travelling more often and getting a new job. I'm most definitely throwing away a bunch of my old shit because I don't wanna be reminded of my unsure, awkward college self. I also plan on hanging out with new people and building new relationships, but this time being smarter about who I hang out with lol.

I know this weird lull won't last forever, but sometimes it doesn't feel that way. All I know is that I'm pretty sure that mid 20s, delayed teenage rebellion is probably gonna start after I graduate. Idk how crazy I'm gonna get (it probably won't be that bad lol), but after all of the fuckery I've been through over the years it's most definitely time to get lit fr.

Yeah, so i need to talk about my AUs more. That being said, i recently thought of a new one im so in love with.

Basically our dear villain Eggman kidnaps our beloved Tails, because “yeah, that little brat makes my life miserable, lets brainwash him and use him as a lab assistant.” yknow the trope,,

Why did he simply not kidnap Sonic since he makes Eggys life even more miserable? Easy, Tails is way easier to capture and two geniuses on his side is way better than one.

But of course, something backfires and Egghead can try all he wants, but Tails just wont listen and behave. So he dumps him somewhere far from Sonics last known location so he doesnt get back that fast.

And not long after that, Sonic finds Eggman and demands his little brother back. And what? Sonic doesnt know that Tails is free yet? Eggy needs to take advantage of that! “oh dear Sonic! Your little sidekick is dead! Couldnt handle one of my experiments, such a shame. He had a lot of potential.”

And Sonic does not believe him, but he does get mad and his rage probably results in Eggman dying lol. (I thought about him going Dark or smt, but im not sure about that. Eggman does eventually die not long after though).

But we know that Tails is alive, so why hasnt he got back yet?! Well, what Eggman didnt know was that his brainwashing DID kind of work and he got some kind of amnesia, where he forgot basically everything (except some pieces there and there). Plus since Eggman’s goal was for Tails to forget he is Tails and that he had some connection to Sonic, he absolutely REFUSES to acknowledge he might be that genius inventor. He gets all mad and crazy when someone mentions he does look a lot like his old self. That’s why Sonic or anyone else cannot find him. He made himself a completely new persona and avoids his old one at all costs.

He does eventually (dont know after how long yet tho) reunite with Sonic and his old friends, because he is a VERY complicated person. The after effects of the brainwashing include him having some kind of urges and impulses to cause chaos. He robs a bank, committes some kind of arson or property damage etc, but he ALSO stays true to his morals and old beliefs and helps others a lot.  Like fighting with some villages against the new villain (something like Tangle before she met Sonic and comp.), or generally fixing other people’s stuff (thats why hes still not in prison, because all his bad doings are forgiven for his good ones).

So he does something bad, gets arrested and for some reason, Amy is at the police station and is like “wtf ur Tails omg?? We have been searching for u for years??” but of course, Tails refuses, so she calls Sonic and hes all like “jesus amy i told u to give it up, hes dead and- woah he fr is Tails.” and Tails STILL does not believe them, so they tell him that because he did something bad, he needs to help them on their new mission so he doesnt have to go to jail and he agrees.

Sonic and others then pretend to think hes not Tails so he doesnt get, how i said “mad and crazy”, until they stumble upon Eggmans old recordings of his experiments on Tails and he FINALLY gets his memories back.

They then of course need to work on getting all the brainwashing from Tails’ head, because it cant just ✨disappear✨, but he does get better eventually.

Oh and do NOT get me started on how Sonic is through all of this. The only thing you need to know for now is that he gets EXTREME separation anxiety after finally finding Tails, and gets overprotective af even tho he tries to hide it.

This took me mf 30 minutes to write. I have no idea how i did that.

Not an Ask Albedo but its so cool that there's teenagers watching and loving Ben10 NOW, because to me Ben 10 fans now are either oldies in their 20s who've been watching it since 2006 or 10 year olds who loved the reboot. Also amazing that you crush and fangirl over Ben, as me and friends in the 2010s self-projected onto Ben instead, even now I watch OS and Omniverse and think 'he's just like me fr'. I never thought of him as 'attractive', so I'd love to hear what you find attractive about him!

oh yes, actually I've always loved the show since I was 6 (although begrudgingly at the time cause my brother's would tease me about it lol, as you probably read I was deeply affected by gender norms back then). actually I didn't know that there were so few teens nowadays that love hin haha, considering the entire franchise started in 2006, my birth year i thought that all that are left are the teens who connect with their childhood. but that guess it makes sense since any teen would be too young then to really comprehend the show all that well.

and yes, like you, i connect emotionally with Ben. He's just as emotionally driven as me, way too much for his own good. I get attached very easily, just like him, but also find it hard to commit to people when I have so many things on my mind/hands. (reffering to Julie)

but that, kinda embarrassingly lead to me having a crush on him lol ^^' ::

1- I just find his relatableness very endearing, especially for me who has his same qualities that I've been told are a burden. I love how romanticized (though in a good way) his faults are, because as the show progresses, he learns, and although stubborn and slow, he still learns. It's just a drive of affection that makes you feel proud of yourself, and seeing Ben have these qualities loved by everyone around him made me want to be like him.

2- I also love how confident af he is. I get that sometimes he's very cocky and arrogant, but then again, how else would you find the courage to win in a fatal fight? you need that confidence boost, or just the right about of positivity that'll get you to actually become determined when you're one step closer to your goal.

3- his freedom of will. actually, although silly, i always envied how easily he could manage anything he put his mind to. even if it ends up I him getting in trouble, captured or even imprisoned, I always love how open-minded he is.

4- I have this thing about me where I watch something just for the plot and never appreciate the little details. so one day I was on pinterest reliving and childhood and finding some pics of show and just went "wait the artsyle is so frikkin adorable, how did i never pay attention to that" and that applies to ALL the versions of the show. And since I'm a loser I also developed a crush on him :)) he's very pretty if you look at him well enough. it's a standard anyways: that cartoon characters should be attractive ideally, so it was bound to happen haha. but yeah, that's everything I love about Ben. overall his personality is what really captured my heart. his clumsiness, idiocy, himbo behavior always get ne screaming!!

USWNT V COLOMBIA pt. 2

Jane with the nod over Ashlyn and Aubrey. Obviously she didn’t have much to do. Maybe Vlatko wanted to try a keeper whose name didn’t start with an A.

Alana Cook with the start finally!! She was a really strong presence and it was cool to see her get up on all the set pieces. Header goal in her future for sure.

Baby T back out there for a full ninety! Thank goodness. Distribution was good. Becky vibes. If she can stay healthy, she only gonna get better.

Ali Krieger. The MOST beautiful on the field (fr can I get her skin care routine?) and one of the baddest bitches on the field. Still quick, still physical, still has those BOMB ASS CROSSES. The assist to Cat was a thing of beauty. Just like her.

Sonnett at the left (and the right because girl can play anywhere.) Good offensive push, solid crosses, and an nice awkward titty assist for Pinoe’s first goal. BUT. And this is nothing new. Can she keep her hands to herself?? She’s such a good defender and she’s fast. Except whenever she slightly gets beat, her immediate knee jerk reaction is to grabby hand pull the opposing player down. She doesn’t give herself the chance to actually defend. It should be a ‘no other option, last ditch effort’, not a go-to move. And her fatigue was apparent near the end with a few dumbass passes

Emily Fox coming in!! I know she’s had caps before but this is a fresh start for her. Not as seamless an integration as Cat, but did fine for limited minutes.

Julie I actually paid more attention to this time lol. Nothing crazy. Per usual for her. Strong physical presence. She seemed tired at the end though, heavy first touch. But her recovery is always very good so no serious issues.

ROSE. I think everyone likes to joke about Rose being a teeny tiny fragile being. But she really isn’t! She was shoving people over left and right with unsuspecting muscle. Her play was extremely unselfish and it was clear she really wanted to assist a Cat goal. She would look at the shot, decide against it, and immediately try and find Cat. It was v sweet but she could’ve taken a selfish shot or two.

Samantha. God. Could not catch a break with all of the fouls committed against her. She had a strong game and was breaking through lines with her run and was doing regular, wonderful Sam Mewis things. My heart DROPPED when she went down. Her ankle went crooked AF. Hopefully not a long term injury - I JUST WANT GOOD THINGS FOR HER.

Lindsey. Typical Miss Bulldozer out there. She’s so calm on the ball and her weighted volleys are beautiful. Her goal was sick. Idk if Julie hit it first with her head at all but I’m taking it as a Crystal assist.

Kristie! Came on under unfortunate hurt little sister circumstances but good to see her get minutes. She wanted a redo on that one header so bad. She had opportunities for sure. Her reign of goals is over BUT a solid showing nonetheless

Pinoe with goals on goals. She’s BACK. Maybe not full ninety back but certainly getting there. She’s such a god damn joy and her PKs are scary amazing. RIP to Colombia’s incredible goalkeeper, she had no chance. I know everyone’s putting her as a bubble Olympic player, but dammit. It would be tough to see the team without her.

Lynn! A better game than Monday for her for sure. I was as relieved as she was that she finally got that goal. One million attempts finally rewarded. There was more of an effort to fight for the ball but still, a lot of unfortunate missed opportunities.

Cat got her first USWNT goal!!!! Big YAY for that. Not surprising in the slightest. She’s just so smooth on the ball. And she was everywhere. She didn’t let playing the #9 limit where she set herself on the field. So smart and so refreshing. Wish she would’ve played longer.

Which brings me to Carli. And I don’t just want to rag on her because she is a good player. But idk why she went in. She offered some good offensive pressure, she’s great at pressing. Other than that? She fell a couple times? She did seven zig zag moves in the box instead of shooting or passing..?

And then CRYSTAL. Vlatko heard my pleas and out Crystal at forward. She was excited to be there and I was pumped to see it. Her technicality, her MOVES. So underrated. And she took all the corners and just. She’s just world class. I love her.

And LAST BUT NEVER LEAST, Midge! Catch me just like Pinoe yelling “Let’s go Midgey!” From my couch. She just went out there and proved she is wasted on defense. Her little shimmy move and end line drive, her crosses, her GOAL. Crazy how all those wonderful things came from her playing her actual position.

Super bummer we didn’t get to see Mal, Sophia, or Andi in these games. Truly. THEY NEED SOME MILK.

My hope is all the gals stay healthy and we can do this allllllll again for SBC.
