I’m trans but I instantly transform into a self righteous cis guy as soon as a white woman says something about men as if they’re a monolith

I AM FEMME AS IN GRASS AS IN DIRT AS IN TREE BARK AS IN WEEDS SPROUTING THROUGH THE SIDEWALK CEMENT. FEMME AS IN GENDER NONCONFORMITY AS IN FUCK YOU MY FEMININITY IS WHAT *I* SAY IT IS. FEMME AS IN DEPTH AND DARKNESS AND WARMTH AND TERROR. FEMME AS IN CAVES. FEMME AS IN LIGHTNING. FEMME AS IN AN AMALGAMATION OF TRAITS THAT I HAVE DECIDED ARE FEMININE REGARDLESS OF WHAT SOCIETY SAYS. FUCK IS IT THAT HARD TO UNDERSTAND?!???
#personal#i am emotional yes#over the years ive had this blog I've made a few posts abt being femme#nd whether they're serious or jokey..... inevitably someone in the tags goes “ohhh yeah bc pink”#or in the case of what inspired this post: someone going “what about the pink ones” on my praying mantis post#and im just.#sick of it. im sick of femme being equated to pink and frilly girlie behaviors.#im sick of femme being equated to skirts and heels. to makeup. to skincare. to pristine nails exactly almond shaped.#im sick of ppl acting like All femmes aspire to this shit. im sick of femms being reduced to this shit.#and i love pink! i love pink! my phone theme is quite literally just black and pink all over.#im just. so tired of any expression of Femme identity being shoehorned into being a Specific type of femininity#especially as someone who DOES get dysphoric wearing skirts. wearing dresses. embodying the femme aesthetic yall are so set on making#if u guys wanna rb this i truly dont care#i just needed to scream#and this is one small thing#but the 2nd largest category of anon hate i have gotten since making this blog is str8 up homophobia from other “queer” folks#saying i cant be femme bc of how i present. calling me slurs (and using them as such) bc they cant understand femme as anything but that#my wife and i have our users in our personal discord server set as 2 different things of anon hate ive gotten#i have had OTHER FEMMES tell me i am not femme. femmes who Know im femme who still call me butch. femmes who ive corrected and been blocked#-by bc of it. the number 1 largest demographic of queerfolk who have me blocked rn is TME femmes who embody pink also#and i dont think its a coincidence at all. (and i know this bc i go to try and follow these ppl bc they get rbed on my dash & i cant)#and ik their blogs arent deleted bc some of them don't block my wife (tall. white. butch) and it cant be politics cause her and i rb#a lot of the same political shit (fuck. i think she rbs More than i do even. this is genuinely mainly a nsft blog)#and usually i don't say anything but im having a bad day so i get to be angry about this and if anyone fucking tries me i will block u#idc if we've been mutuals 4ever. im judt so tired of feeling like i am not Enough as a femme bc i dont embody this shit#im sick of this lameass lip service to he/him gnc femmes etc when the thin white 50s housewife femme is still what is preferred and loved#im sick of this lamesss lip service when y'all feel entitled to theorizing on other femmes genders bc u cant conceptualize a femme who does#wanna be hypetfeminine. im sick of it. im sick of it. im sick of it.#celebrity bun

Begging, begging, begging people to stop associating aging and femininity in men/masculine people as Wrong and Predatory. Femininity has no age limit.
To any feminine man, masculine person, or really, anybody who needs to hear this: Your femininity deserves to be recognized and celebrated. Aging is a natural and unique part of life, and you don't have to sacrifice your femininity for fear of being "too old" to be accepted or seen as charming. You are already charming.
There is no limit to being who you are. No matter what you're told, you still deserve to completely claim yourself.

bisexuals i think we need to start being more aggressive and claiming characters as bisexual. even if it doesn't "make sense" -- unless canon says otherwise they're bi now. they're bi now

there is no true to the book movie adaptation of Frankenstein out there because then society would be confronted with the fact that it creates its own monsters by pushing non-normative people who are capable of love and kindness, to horrifying deeds. because at its core, Frankenstein's horror consists not of what the creature is capable of doing, but what pushes him to do it. and let's face it, society would often much rather be scared of 'the other' than of the cruelty in oneself.
also, Adam would have to be trans and autistic, but that's just my personal opinion

Other trans people are not your enemy.
This goes for both trans women & fems and trans men & mascs. There are popular trans women twitter accounts telling young trans women that trans men do not care about them and simultaneously denying trans men face any transphobia, there are popular trans men on tumblr telling young trans men that trans women do not care about our oppression, pointing to the lack of talk about murdered trans men as proof.
And some of these points are fair, we should listen to each other more about our struggles. But you are making that difficult. Do you think a trans woman wants to listen to someone who accuses all trans women of hating trans men and not caring about our struggles? Do you think trans men want to listen to someone who says tells people that trans men are future terfs and will never care about trans womens struggles?
Are we not all just sides of the same dice? Are we not all facing oppression from transphobes? Terfs write books about how trans men are mutilating themselves and articles about predatory trans women in bathrooms, republicans fund legislation targeting trans surgeries and hormones, which affects all of us.
And even if we did not face the same struggles, why are we divided? Again, are we not all the same, simply trying to be ourselves in our own bodies? We can each talk about our own struggles, the difficulties we face and the joys we experience without the opposite being true of the other, infact more often than not it's extremely similar and I think we'd benefit from listening to each other more.

Anyway… gender non-conforming teenage Billy discovering metal for the first time, seeing men in makeup with long hair and feminine clothes. Metal being a “safe(r)” way for him to express himself than outright saying he doesn’t want “to be a man” 100% of the time. He can deal with Neil thinking he’s a degenerate brat, but he won’t survive if Neil knows for a fact that he’s queer. So, he dresses himself up like his heroes and plays the part well. Girls flock to him because he breaks the mold and Billy likes girls in the way that he wants to be like them. Pretty. Dolled up with perfume. He envies video vixens and fantasizes about bassists. Metal allows him to walk the line between the safe and expected (masculinity) and unexpected and dangerous (femininity) he would love to embrace more.

Look you can't bridge the gap between Radfems and trans people because you let so many radfems be aggressively and violently transphobic. By siding with them you're siding with people who want me dead or as good as dead. They aren't good people. They're violent aggressive and bigoted.
i am sneaking into the territory and reforming it from the inside <3

#like please ask yourself#why is the MC getting walked down the aisle only cringe or problematic when its a non-female MC. do yall not hear yourselves.#i mean I'm not gonna pretend Choices doesn't or has never had gender coding problems#and I'm also not gonna pretend like Choices doesn't write with wlm routes in mind#PB seriously does need more variety and should let us have masculine MCs and feminine LIs#but when ppl are acting like it's only a problem for m!MCs (and sometimes nb!MCs) that's where I start to lose sympathy#Choices and tbh most content in the romance genre in general is already alienating to us GNC/genderqueer folks#+ ppl who like non-normative romance#and takes like these just further alienate us#like idk psure there are men who LIKE being treated as the bride (and their female partner being the groom if mlw) for fucking once#and you'd be hard pressed to find media let alone an interactive game that lets them live out that fantasy#these stories may not have been intentionally made for them but it'd still be pretty fuckin meaningful that they get that here#and who knows maybe it can pave the way for other media to do it too and maybe even better/intentionally#it's fine to want masc MCs but dont act like its not important for f!players too#because as a gal I'm still waiting on when these stories will let me watch my husband-to-be walk down the aisle :P#cop 3#cop 3 spoilers#crimes of passion#crimes of passion 3#crimes of passion 3 spoilers#choices game#choices#choices stories you play#choices stories we play fandom#choices stories we play#cadybear vents#cadybear rants

Any big butch ladies or non-binaries out there with good resources for picking out clothing that won't make me feel like a cow in a dress? Seems like everyone's got a style they like. I'm 35 and I still haven't been able to figure it out for myself.
I hate dresses. And skirts. Heels.
I like the idea of high-waisted pants and suspenders, but I'm not sure how that'll go with my big tits. Maybe if another curvy person could show me that it looks good, I'd try it. But then I don't know the best place to buy clothes like that for me bc I'm curvy.
No opposition to colorful clothes. But I'm not sure how good certain colors are with my pale skin.
Finding bras for my big chest that don't cost 60 bucks a pop is impossible. And it's just as hard to find an actual supportive bra for athletic activities. Just feels like it's not possible for me to look good bc the world hates fat people. Really discouraging.
Any advice or links to sites with clothes I could try would be great. I'd just like to be able to look at myself and actually like what I see for once.

the solution to the "are you normal about X people who turn out to be Y" debate is stop fucking assuming things about people
You wanna know what pronouns to use for an individual? Ask them.
As a general rule, don't make jokes about the identity you perceive of someone. Know your audience
How is that hard? Why do we all think ourselves such experts on the lives of other people??????

Also on a tangentially related note, regarding my last post. I need to have that gangly teenage boy build like my cis brothers. People only ever seem to take androgyny and gender nonconformity seriously when the person in question is skinny and already conventionally attractive to some degree. I am much better about accepting my body as it is than I used to be, truly, big progress has been made- but I can’t help but feel, sometimes, like I have to be smaller to start dressing ‘weird/cool’. Does this make any sense? Can anyone hear me??

I could get cancelled for this immediately, but does anyone else get really irritated when you see a certain subset of the queer community inserting themselves into other subsets’ issues?
Like when cis gay people think they can speak for trans folks just because “well we’re all lgbt.”
Or like gay men thinking they can make misogynistic comments about lesbians and use the word d*ke etc just because “well we’re lgbt too”.
Or (and this is a big one lately) queer women inserting themselves into conversations that are about issues specific to queer men, and acting like they have exactly as much credibility in the argument because “well we’re just as lgbt as you.”
It’s just like… yeah we’re all queer. But each individual group is their own mini community, and they all have their own things that are specific to them, and if you aren’t in that exact demographic then you don’t have the experience necessary to add your input on those topics. And if you go ahead and shove your way into the conversation anyway, then you’re like… only 5% better than a homophobe. If that.

I'm moody and grumpy and sick so I'm going to be a freak about writing for a bit.
I fucking love writing PEOPLE. like as a whole. I love writing little imperfect messy living moments. People aren't perfect. Never will be. Never SHOULD be. And I fucking LOVE writing that. Even the "unnecessary details" feel necessary to me because they're HUMAN.
Spilling food on yourself. Getting food stuck in your teeth and maybe making funny faces while you're trying to get it out. Mentioning a silly moment from their youth in teasing. A disagreement. Putting on clothes and getting your arm stuck in your sleeve at first. "Ugly laughter". Losing your train of thought and saying nonsense while snapping fingers to try and get your thoughts back. Hugging someone taller than you and maybe having to change how you stand to fit together. Accidentally stepping on someone's foot. Bedhead, fixing someone's clothes, double chins, clumsy moments, Shifting, fidgeting, having someone mimic another's voice to make someone laugh, LIVING THINGS lksjdf ldskjf THINGS THAT MAKE US HUMAN!!!
And like?? A small thing, as I said I love just writing PEOPLE. But I see posts sometimes about how people "have a hard time writing women" and I'm just sitting here like??? "She's a person?? You've met another person before, right? Write the same way." and just get boggled and even, I don't know, disappointed? Even if she's not part of the main "cast" have her be, idk human?? Not just cardboard you know?? Don't "girlboss" her but also just?? simply have her have life!
Or then I've seen people literally admit "Well with canon there's not much to work with the women" WELL THEN MAKE STUFF UP!!! Use your big brain and have headcanons for her! See the potential she already has and fly with it!!! :D
How many times has she spilled food on her clothes and groaned because it's her favorite? How many times has she had snarled hair? She's probably had something in her eye at some point. She's probably tripped and skinned her knee once or twice. Does she swear? How would she react in this situation?
And sometimes I'll see people use history as an excuse or whatever but like??? Even IF systematically women weren't treated well, that wasn't the rule for ALL. For example, in the USA, Women usually couldn't go out in public in pants during certain periods. Yet I have photos of family from the 1930s where there are women in pants. Little girls and their mothers literally using a two-person saw and on the farm in pants. Just because the system is sexist doesn't mean that men in women's lives always enforce it. Just like nowadays. Reproductive rights. That's systematic. Daily life? I feel plenty safe with a lot of regular ass dudes. SAME BACK THEN MOST LIKELY!!!
Idk y'all. I'm just... disappointed by how many times I come across this type of stuff :/
