Ging

You met him strictly by chance.

The most likely way you came in contact with Ging is when he finally decided to let loose and make his annual appearance to the world — so basically when he was drinking.

While sitting at a bar, he glances over to notice your silence and casually starts a conversation with you. A stale one-liner such as “You come here often?” or “That drink looks awful, you should give it to me” leaves his lips as he's already become tipsy.

He jokes a lot with you throughout the night, will probably read you like a book if you came to drink away your problems, and pulls you onto the dance floor if he's really had too many drinks.

Ging has a hard time getting close to others, so if he does find you attractive, it simply stops there. Though, Ging is often riddled with boredom, so if your personality does manage to intrigue him that night he would be drawn to you and want to stick around for the thrill.

It’s hard to get in contact with him afterward, but he always remembers you after that encounter. 

Silva 

Silva is hard to just... meet. He keeps his life very private and rarely makes an appearance unless absolutely necessary. You have to have some sort of connection such as being an esteemed assassin with affluence or working in his estate to be noticed by him and even then it is unlikely. 

If you were to take the assassin route, you would need outstanding talent to catch his eye. Maybe you’d meet in a business meeting, your confident posture and demeanor catching his attention instantly. He most likely already read your file and was thoroughly impressed at what he found and saw in person. 

If you took the estate route, you would have to be really good at your job to stand out to him. You would have to be skillful in combat, or if you visit his hideaway and serve him often, you could possibly spark a relationship in that way. Though, if Kikyo is in the picture, you would be an immediate target simply for being too close to Silva.

Kite

You would probably meet in an outdoor setting. Maybe Kite stumbled upon a floral shop just as you were browsing the shelves of flowers, or maybe he saw you sitting peacefully at a park feeding the birds just as he was studying the different insects in that area. 

Regardless, Kite would like that you appreciated nature. He probably wouldn't speak first because he's more on the introverted side, and if he did finally come up to you, it would take him a while as he had spent his time observing you.

Kite's impression of you would be that you were sweet, and he would be delighted if you shared the same interests as him. Overall, if you guys happened to run into each other again, Kite would see it as fate and more than a coincidence and likely ask if you'd like to go on a date with him sometime.

I believe that he can do math simply because he doesn't seem like he can do math. He's more "party tricks and shock value" than "genuine human person" and i think that seeing him solving equations for fun would send someone into cardiac arrest instantly

He could do math, but it's not super relevant to his everyday life so he usually doesn't bother. literally just get a calculator it's not that serious. there are way more useful skills to have. like invulnerability to every poison.

Chrollo

Can do math in practice but not in theory. Like he could probably do some pretty sophisticated calculations in his head mid-battle to figure out the trajectory of his opponent's attack based on the initial velocity and the angle the projectile was fired at (of course taking weather and other external conditions into account), but wouldn't be able to complete a timed multiplication worksheet for children

Kurapika would be one of the most protective ones seeing as though his half of the villains in this au are his enemies 😭

he won’t want you to go out a lot at all so I hope your not one for adventure, preferably an introvert too so you aren’t always super hype to see others and maybe a little skeptical like him

With your permission he’ll put a tracker on you just in case, he seems to be surrounded by kidnapping-🗿 so he can’t risk that happening to you

even more so if the troupe finds out about you, which he really really really hopes never happens even tho it just might

i don’t think it’ll be anyone’s fault if they do, unless Kurapika kidnapped you and you try to escape, then Shalnark likely just found out about you through research

And the chances of Chrollo not taking you hostage to use against Kurapika are almost 0%

if that does happen Kurapika will do whatever it take to get you back, even if it means telling the troupe they can have his life as long as they set you free (which Kurapika is smart so he’ll get his friends/Allies to help make sure they actually set you free in case it was a set up, he comes up with a very detailed plan and it’s success rate is pretty high since he’s managed to outsmart Chrollo before using the element of surprise. I’m not sure where he’ll send you but if Gon suggests Aunt Mito’s house he’ll likely take the opportunity seeing as though he has no family to send you to himself).

but if that doesn’t happen! (Thankfully) he will constantly move every few months and make to sure keep lots of locks and passcodes wherever you stay at the moment. He also has lots of security cameras, but don’t worry! He’s a good boyfriend aside from all the crazy stuff you have to go through from his wild life so he still gets you gifts and spends all his free time with you when he’s home! 💗

when the topic comes up in conversation and you eventually open up to him about what you've been through, he listens intently. no matter how much or how little you tell him about it

when you've finished telling him, he doesn't have much to say about it. he nods and hums to let you know he heard you.

his reaction might come off as him being disinterested or not wanting to know about everything you've just unloaded onto him, but he really REALLY does care, and he's glad you felt comfortable enough to open up to him about it

you might apologize for trauma dumping on him, but he'll quickly shut you down.

"don't you dare apologize."

he'll hold your hands, gently rubbing his thumbs against the back of them

if you start to cry, he'll wipe your tears away and pull you in to hold you close (if you're okay with it at the time) while you let all the waterworks out

again, he won't have much to say about it. he doesn't want to pry for more details than you're willing to give, either.

he isn't the greatest at talking about feelings and putting things into words, but he'll make sure you know he cares through his actions

he'll hold you for as long as you need to be held, then do something nice for you. like get you some of your comfort food and put on a nice movie you two can watch together on the sofa

after you open up to him about your trauma, he's more attentive to your comfort when being physically intimate. not that he wasn't before, he just pays extra attention to it now. it's sweet

and ofc when you tell him he keeps that in mind as well and makes sure to avoid the things that make you uncomfortable

he listens quietly as you tell him however much you're comfortable with telling him.

he falls silent for a moment after you finish telling him. you can tell he's thinking.

you start to worry that you should've kept your mouth shut. feitan can be really hard to read sometimes.

though, if you chose not to answer any of the questions he had, he'll likely find out who it was that hurt you one way or another

but he continues to be extra mindful of your comfort when you're being physically intimate

he might ask less questions overtime as he learns more about what you are and aren't okay with, but he'll always check with you when necessary to make sure you're doing okay

imagine you two are either going on a scenic walk together or laying in bed preparing to sleep when it comes up and you tell him what you're comfortable saying to him

he listens to you intently

he might ask you a few questions about it, but only a couple. he doesn't wanna pry too much.

"when did it happen?"

"was it just the one time?"

"who was it?"

once again, whether you answer any of those questions is entirely up to you.

he doesn't act weird or uncomfortable about it, and gently changes the subject when he sees you're ready to move on

the rest of your day/night continues normally without it coming up again

the next day, chrollo gets to work on finding out everything he can about your abuser(s)

completely without your knowledge

it wasn't that difficult to get the information he needed

once he has what he needs, he tells you he's off to an important meeting and leaves

you didn't bother asking who he was meeting with. knowing the kind of shit he gets involved with, you wouldn't have expected him to tell you anyway.

once he's gone, he wastes no time in disposing of the human garbage that is your abuser(s)

then he cleans up, comes home, asks you about your day and treats you to a fancy dinner

he never tells you what he did

if you do somehow find out, though, he'll be completely honest about it and tell you what you wanna know

and as for physical intimacy, nothing really changes

during the chimera ant arc kite let gon braid his hair at one point and didn’t take it out for like a week

kite kept getting asked around that same time if he and killua were related because of the hair mainly, but he got really annoyed with it so he just started saying yes

kite used to use the top of ging’s head as an armrest just because he’s tall and ging is short and it would piss ging off so bad

kite got along well with old ladies for some reason. they always told him he’s too skinny and offer him food and he just took it.

also little kids and babies really liked kite. even though he’s deathly thin and has awful dark circles they are inexplicably attracted to him. kite used to avoid them because the toddlers kept trying to climb his legs and would pull on his hair, but later he warmed up to them and started going out of his way to be kind to them. but he only really likes old women and little kids and that’s all

ging hates kids and kids hate ging. that’s it that’s the headcanon

ging is one of those people who is just always in the most random places. imagine you text him or something after not hearing from him for like an hour and he just sends you back a picture of him in some obscure location all the way across the planet. nobody knows how, when, or why he got there but there he is

kite never killed any insect he came across. he has a lot of sympathy for animals and non-human creatures. with the exception of the obvious chimera ants. he would see a snail or something and move out of its way but then ging swoops in seconds later and dropkicks it

ging for whatever reason gets a lot of women. literally no idea why he just has this charm and spontaneous air that attracts people to him. but you definitely don’t want to start anything with him because as it literally goes in the story he just fucks and leaves

kite used to be really into painting and was weirdly good at it despite never actually receiving any lessons. he loved to paint scenery mostly involving water

kite’s hair has pretty much been the length it is in the chimera ant arc since he was like 10. he used to have a problem tripping over it but when he hit his growth spurt it stopped becoming a problem

ging never had an awkward phase growing up. one day he was a little kid and the next day he was a whole man. just like that for no reason

ging likes to turn on shows he knows he doesn’t like just to yell at the television and criticize everything the characters do the whole time

at one point during ging’s time with the zodiacs the public started a rumor that he and pariston were an item and once it reached the zodiacs ging didn’t show up to a single meeting for a month

same thing happened a little bit later except it was cheadle with ging instead and then ging disappeared for like three months

Since Anon asked and this might need a little more room for explination: Why does Senritsu becomes to uncomfortable with the idea of having children / does not want children herself?

Senritsu likes chlildren, she likes to watch them grow up and lead them along the way and finds pride and wonder in helping and supporting them to become one day adults with their own passions and interests. But thats not the same as beeing a parent. Thats just beeing a decent adult who wants to see the next Generation find joy in their life and support whoever needs that Support.

For one: Obviously Senritsu knows that her vitals are not in the place or form they should be after she was ripped appart and mended back together. When already her facial muscles are on some parts not where they should be (leading to the ptosis in her left eye), she really does not trust her organs to do anything resembling a healthy pregnancy. And even if that would work, it would still have the same risks and problems as any pregnancy of a person with dwarfism. So pregnancy would be lifethreatening for her in any way. This could be of course avoided through adoption, but it is by all means not the part of having children that worries Senritsu:

She knows that she might not live long. Senritsu had accepted that destroying the sonata would very likely be her end because even if she is turned back to her original body, the only reason why she survived that first time was because the sonata of darkness mended her back together so she would carry the melody back into the world, and that would not happen if she would destroy it. So she would either die working in the mafia, or consumed by the cursemarks on her left arm or eventualyl when she destroys the sonata, so she is not aiming to put children in the world she can not look after.

Also: Anyone can have children, but not every parent deservse children. Having children is easy, yet raising a child needs a parent to not only make sacrefices but also to focus their life and their needs around this child for in any other way the child would feel unwanted. And a child feeling unwanted and beeing too young to understand that it is not their fault, but simply their parents not putting that child as their priority, is torture for this child. And Senritsu knows that she would love that child, but that there would always be that little voice in her that she should go and continue hunting. Love is not enough, in this manner, a child needs regularity and support. And as a Hunter who had devoted her life to beeing a hunter, she can not give that to a child. She would never be completly there for the child, physically yes, but also she would mentally count every day down until she knows that the child would be ready to start their own life so she could continue her hunt, knowing that child is safe.

And Senritsu would never want to force a child - biologically or adopted- in this kind of situation where they would not be the priority. In other words, she would never be so cruel to pull a Ging Freeccs.

I was just randomly thinking about this but can we like unnormalize making characters homophobic for "angst purposes" ? Like Kurapika would NOT get pressed just because Leorio has his contact name as "Sunshine" 🙁‼️ it isn't just Leopika this happens with Killugon and other ships as well😭 not trying to start any drama or anything like that but it's a bit concerning that so many people think Kurapika and/or Gon is homophobic? They've literally never shown disdain for LGBTQ+ people (especially Gon) so idk where people get the idea that they are homophobic?? Don't get me wrong I'm all for angst and I don't wanna seem like I'm policing headcanons but in this case it's just weird, I don't understand hcing characters who've never shown disgust or irritation to the LGBTQ+ community be suddenly homophobic 😓 even if it's like a internalized homophobia thing (as someone who had that in the past + internalized transphobia) like again if they don't show any negative emotions towards the LGBTQ+ community then I don't understand someone hcing a character as homophobic! Honestly this isn't even about ship angst anymore it's just characters in general 😭 I saw someone say that they don't like Ging (I'm sorry I always come back to this fucking man I just have to include him somehow) because he apparently "would be homophobic irl and not support Killugon"..?? Which makes absolutely NO sense??? That's another thing too, headcanoning characters you dislike as homophobic. Like okay.. You don't like Ging, whatever.. But hcing him as homophobic?? What??
