ngl i think one of the worst parts about being an anime fan (especially shounen) is that i'll see a ton of implied romance between two same sex characters and while that the fact that they love each other is never confirmed by the creator (BUT it is heavily implied through notes, additions, competitions etc.) it's still pretty damn obvious. the creator however cant do anything too explicit or else they'll likely get their series canceled by the people who run shounen jump. and so because of it they cant make it 'canon' but its so implied that it might as well be canon. but then there are people arguing against it and saying that it 'literally cant be possible' and that 'youre reading too much into it'. which while does happen with some communities i dont think is the case with certain characters. idk just some thoughts
