Leorio easily became distracted by the bartender taking his empty glass and walking away. He turns in his chair to face Kurapika, hopefully asking, "Oh, do you think she would give me her number?"

The blonde-haired man casts a glance towards the bartender then back at Leorio who keeps trying to make flirty eye contact with her. He sighs lightly and takes another sip of his whiskey, "Leorio," He starts in his usual stern tone, "Your chances would be better if you behaved more maturely."

A presence in the seat beside him and an all too familiar voice draws his attention, "Kurapika, I didn't expect to see you here."

She looked up, it was her brother, Kurapika. He had a worried look on his eyes and was panting from running. She immediately got engulfed in his hug and he said how relieved he was to know that she was safe, away from the village’s tragedy.

On her brother’s back, she awoke to his gentle voice. Kurapika stood in front of a door to an inn that he said he was staying in temporarily. He carefully set her down to unlock the door.

The girl sat in the warm water-filled bath tub with her knees held close to her chest. Her brother gently washed her hair, it reminded him of back then.

Whenever Y/n gets dirty after playing outside, sometimes he would help bathe her. They sung songs and splashed water at eachother. They sometimes would take baths together too. But those happy times were gone.

After she dried up and put on clothes, Kurapika made toasts with fried eggs on top and prepared cups of water. Y/n finally ate after days being in the forest. She devoured the bread quickly that her brother got worried.

“Hey, slow down! You’re gonna-”

Kurapika went to grab the used tableware and looked at the items on the table that Y/n had with her when he found her. A doll made by their father and a hat knitted by their mother. They were both gifts for her 7th birthday. With both of them gone, those were the things that they had left of them.

Her sobs slowly became quiet and soon stopped. She returned to sleep peacefully, this time clinging to Kurapika.

Being the only Kurtas left, Kurapika had to be the one to care for Y/n. He’d make sure she eats well, he’d make sure to teach her things, he’d make sure to protect her.

Uvogin rant

People need to stop underestimating Uvogin just because he got killed by Kurapika so early on in such an decisive manner. Uvogin is an extremely strong character, he is the only human we’ve seen that was able to take a constant barrage of bullets, snipe to the head, and a bazooka round to his hand with no damage whatsoever while he’s only at less than half of his full power, except netero and adult Gon. Pure power isn’t everything in a fight. Kurapika won not because of strength, but because of his chain jail, a move that is basically kryptonite to any spider no matter how strong they are. Uvogin is no different. When I hear people say Hisoka can whoop him, or any Zoldyck can easily kill him, I lose a few years off my life. There is not more than 5-6 people in the series who have a 50% chance of beating Uvogin in a fight without using extremely specific conditional abilities that target him or traps that require him to fall for them in first place. Yet he’s super smart, so he’s not likely to fall for any of those traps. He’s a Troupe member, the guy loves to fight but he isn’t some big, dumb brute. Hes smart and he understands how Nen works, the fight between Kurapika does its best to show that. He can use In, which is a Nen technique used by very few in the series. He isn’t just using Aura solely to supplement his muscles. Uvogin is one of the GREATEST enhancers shown in the series but people don’t take time to realize that just because he got as they say “clapped” by Kurapika. Kurapika lacks the sheer power Gon and Killua, but he is one of the best nen users among the main cast. He is talented I’ll say that, he’s talented enough to create such strong restrictions. Kurapika had won the fight before it even started, if Uvo knew the chains were conjured I think he would have had a fair shot at killing him, but Kurapika’s clever little idea of always keeping the chains on paid off. Kurapika could’ve NEVER beaten Uvo without chain jail. -.- (not to mention Uvogin was also hella drunk during the fight)

Gon - Worst driver out of everyone, had to retake the exam MULTIPLE times and even then they only let him pass because no instructors wanted to drive with him anymore. he tries not to speed (key word being TRIES) and accidentally runs red lights all of the time but feels really bad for doing so. no one lets him drive... and for good reason too. although hed probably be an okay racecar driver though, he gets crazy when he drives

Killua - I think he'd be a good driver. Like he'd actually be responsible and wouldn't run red lights too often, although he would speed... he would definitely speed. He's go like 10-20 over the speed limit just for the fuck of it and he'd drive even faster when gon's in the car (he's trying to impress him... and its working). tbh it depends on the day if you feel safe with him or not

Leorio - He'd be a good driver, doesn't speed often and when he does its not that much about the speed limit around 5-10 over depending on the day and if he's focused he's a good and responsible driver... if he's focused. if he's on the phone or arguing with someone he tends to swerve quite a bit and sometimes people think he's drunk... but besides that hes fine! he'll run a red every now and then but never too often
