I'm curious, what continuity errors do you notice in Doctor Who? Someone asked me the other day "What movie mistake is so glaringly obvious that you're surprised it made it into the final cut?", and my response was "Not sure about films, but I can name about 20 different continuity errors from Doctor Who alone".

Episode Summaries under the cut

59: Father's Day - Season 1, Episode 8: Rose asks the Doctor to take her back to see her deceased Father, so that make sure he doesn't die alone after he was killed in hit-and-run. Instead she saves his life, causing a paradox and angering the Doctor. She follows her father to a wedding, where she sees her mother and herself as a baby, and learns that her parents do not have a happy marriage. Creatures appear and start taking people. The Doctor explains that the paradox is like a wound in time, and the creatures are sterilizing it.

The wedding party cower in the church while the Doctor works to stop the creatures. Rose reveals to her father that she is his daughter from the future, but does not tell him he is dead. The creatures break into the church and take the Doctor. Realizing that the only way to put things right is for him to die, Rose's dad runs out into the street and is hit by a car, setting things back to normal while Rose holds his hand as he dies.

70: Once, Upon Time - Season 13, Episode 3: To save Yaz and Vinder from Swarm killing them she pulls them, herself, and Dan into a Time Storm, allowing them to hide, but each is pulled into their own time stream.

The Doctor is pulled into a memory of herself as the Fugitive Doctor working for Division when she originally beat Swarm and Azure. Dan explores different moments with a woman he is involved with. Yaz goes through various memories, including as a police officer and playing video games with her sister, each time seeing a Weeping Angel stalking her. Vinder relives becoming a guard for the dictator of his planet, who banished him to a distant outpost for questioning him.

The Doctor gets everybody out and they escape. The Doctor takes Vinder back to his home planet, and they depart. Yaz checks her phone and a Weeping Angel emerges from it and takes control of the TARDIS.

Happy 60th Birthday Doctor Who!!

I've been a fan for 34 years, child of fans for 60 years. Been watching longer than I can remember, I was born between episodes 3 & 4 of The Greatest Show in the Galaxy (both the story & show!)

I've been going to conventions longer than I can remember, was lucky enough to met Jon Pertwee (though the autograph has now faded quite a bit!) and have met (almost) every Doctor since.

I actually can't put into words how important this funny little show is to me. Here's to 60 more years (at least!)
