Rlly needing someone older and wiser and you're the universal parent so can I receive a pat in the back and the reassurance everything is going to turn out alright? Things are kind... Hard and there's this whole deep down dread feeling.

Oh kiddo, this sounds really rough!! Things are pretty grim at the moment in lots of ways, but remember - your most important job is looking after yourself. That means taking breaks, celebrating little wins, and doing the things that bring you joy without worrying that you could be doing "more".

I wish I could say everything is going to turn out alright. The fact is, it might not. "Everything" is really, really big! I think a more important thing to remember is that you aren't responsible for "everything".

You're not (as far as I know....!) a superhero, or a billionaire, or a world leader. You're a single soul with limited resources and limited reach. Concentrate on making the best impact you can within that reach, and trust that the world is full of people doing exactly that.

Also, remember - the world is better just for having you in it. You don't have to earn your place in the world. You deserve to be here, and you deserve love and kindness - from yourself, as much as from anyone else xxxx

I'm mildly allergic to cocoa and lactose intolerant

Still just made a warm cuppa of hot chocolate because it's appropriately cold and perfect to accompany my book reading

Okay I get it because I do these things too but PLEASE take care of yourself. I have a lot of allergies and I truly understand the urge, but please be safe. The Interviewer also wants you to be safe.

Here is a cocoa recipe that you don't need milk for:

Oat-Milk and/or Oat-Milk-Cream (!!) There are recipes for making your own oatmilk from oats, if you can't find any! I found vegan heavy cream on the basis of oat at some point and it's been a lifesaver. Rice milk might work too, as well as almond, but I find it then to be very watery. I do stan oats though.

Boil and add dark chocolate: if you are allergic to cocoa, it might be that you are allegic to a specific thing that gets out due to processing it further. If you know what part is the issue, there might be ways to go around it. Melt the chocolate in the oat-milk and let it boil for a minute, be aware there will be foam but in my case, it actually makes things edible for me that I wasn't able to have before! You're the expert on your own allegies, so you know best.

Adding actual chocolate makes it thicker as if you used cows-milk.

Add some cinnamon on top, maybe some sprinkles of vanilla - especially the cinnamon is nice when it's cold and rainy!

So @ghostlycollectorchaos just reintroduced me to the world of Actor AUs and I am obsessed. So, here are some headcannons for Dungeon Meshi.

1 - Laios's actor is an Australian guy in his early 20s. He went to the US to pursue a career in modeling. It is his second acting gig.

2 - Marcille is a child star. She is primarily known for baby comercials and some indie films. She's from the Texan countryside and has a THICK accent OOC. Everyone in the cast is impressed at both hers and Laios's ability to switch accents.

3 - This is Shuro's first Hollywood gig, but he is BIG in Asia. I'm talking K-dramas, J-Dramas, BLs, small roles in Oscar and Emmy nominated stuff, variety show star, everything.

4- Senshi and Namari veterans. Not many accolades, but no one would be like, "Who are they?" When they walked a red carpet.

5 - Izutsumi is of Vietnamese descent. She is pushing 40, but she is like one of those actresses who just do not age, so she still plays a teen super convincingly.

6 - Chilchuck is a very bubbly and friendly teen boy who is the baby on set and has gone viral multiple times for doing the most unhinged shit on interviews. It's always him and 2 of the original 4 doing press together. Senshi keeps them under control, but when it's him, Laios and Marcille, shit goes down.

7 - Falin and Kabru are British.

I love this, though I can not say that I will be very good at this game.
