He let out a shaky laugh. This- this was so surreal. He remembered when he'd first kissed Toya (no, Toya's kissed him, cause he was a stupid fucking coward) and the stammering mess he'd dissolved into. It was very easy to turn Shinonome Akito into a stammering mess, it turned out, given two people had managed to do it with very little effort.

"So, um, ah, fuck, uh," he gulped. Great job at words there, mate. Granted, Kotaro was practically nuzzling him, and had just kissed him about twelve times. He was not currently occupying his skull, instead floating somewhere normally considered to be "over the moon". "Wh- what kind of kiss, uh, was that?" he squeaked. He was almost certain he had never made that noise before and was not planning on doing it again but that's all that would fit around the pounding heart banging away in his throat. "Like, um, up to you?"

Maybe three streets off Weekend Garage, (not too distant it'd take forever to get there, not too central that someone'd walk in on them - he'd thought this through) he was only somewhat obssessively checking his phone. (God knows how he got Kotaro's phone location but it did come in handy.) I mean, who wouldn't be anxious? They'd just proclaimed their mutual desire to kiss each other to the general internet and then arranged to meet up in person to talk it out. ...that did sound really gay when he put it that way. Fuck, now he was thinking about kissing Kotaro. What would it be like? Things had certainly been a little different between them since the café "date" they'd gone on. Would it be desperate, passionate, like his own longing? Or soft, fluttering, like Kotaro's constant affection?

He almost jumped out of his own skin when the man of the hour appeared before his eyes.

BUT ANYWAY SPEAKING OF THE DRAWING ITSELF, HOLY CRAP look at that BEAUTIFUL composition and color choices. The first is desaturated but calm, maybe a bit depressing in tone yet Stanley is happy. Then it cuts to the harsh black and red contrast of the second drawing and it's so UURGGHH

by himself not only with black, honestly i like their relationship but most of the time (i think early in their relationship) he always comes out injured or dead and the fact that he doesnt even care about his own safety most of the time just to (me thinks) make black happy makes me so sad/pos

Now that, that is an absolutely hot take and I am here for it OP!

Like, what's better than the power of destruction and earth? They sort of go pretty well together since they're both easily able to cause mass carnage.

And imagining the scene of Cole dragging the land masses together with his powers? He's on a beach on the west side of Ninjago, hands buried in the sand and it seems like there's a soft orange glow from beneath - clashing with the darkened haze of his purple eyes. Then the ground shakes, and the sand starts to drop down into deep fissures in the mantle below. Then the tide starts to shift, waves becoming more and more erratic as the Dark Island is dragged over to be joined with Ninjago once more.
