My oven and microwave are not working and i need another day or 2 to clean enough to feel comfortable letting maintenance come into my apt, and both my roommates are unavailable (one activly has covid and is quarentining in another household another is out of state for the week) and im really struggling to feed myself. Its been months since we've done a proper grocery run and not just a few staples from my parents (financial help from them is limited), and i need some help.

$100 should keep me fed for the next couple weeks between paychecks.

do you think you could skip part of your criteria by just slapping "(GOLDILOCKS AU)" or something after the actual fic title? it's not quite as neat, but it'd get the right information across, right?

for thematic names, i'm trying to think of something with "golden lock(s)" for that sweet double interpretation... golden locks on a golden boy. gold locks for a silver tongue. dunno how well that one works lol. i saw the "goldilocks zone" idea after i started thinking about this, and i'm a fan of that, but i don't have anything to add yet... 🤔

slapping on "(GOLDILOCKS AU)" is the coward's way, i intend to die with honor

I don't think the gold locks/silver tongue imagery quite fits as the fic's overall title—Bill's charisma & manipulation is a peripheral part of the fic, not a main theme—but i do like the vibes of it, very poetic

#(also i don't consider the fic an au. to me a story's an AU if it diverges from the canon universe. this fic's rigorously canon compatible.)#(Every single canon event happened. Eddie's will doesn't give Buck jack shit as far as rights are concerned as long as Eddie is alive. he is not Chris's legal guardian or anything at all at this point. unless Eddie made some other legal arrangements that he also did not tell Buck about, if Eddie is incapacitated Chris goes to his nearest family. that's his grandparents. periodt

Fans: Can we please learn about the Philip and Caleb/Evelyn drama because it contextualizes Philip's actions and it is honestly the most interesting part of this show.

TOH: Mm, nah, we're gonna meander around for the majority of the first season. We're not even gonna have Belos interact with Luz until the season one finale LOL.

#oh. ok i guess.#i guess we dont have to know why the villain is in the demon realm or why he has guilt over murdering his literal brother #I guess I'll just sit here and wonder why Philip is so adamant about having his brother - who was his caretaker - by his side that he #will clone him AND he will keep making clones of Caleb despite the fact every Grimwalker inevitably ''betrays'' him #I guess we dont need to understand why Philip keeps cloning his brother /sarcasm #And I guess we don't need clarification on the Wittebro statues in the human realm neither /sarcasm #like seriously what is up with those statues... the Wittebros were the founders of Gravesfield #but then TTT said they came to GravesField as children #Them being founders of GF does contextualize Belos' need to be a hero... but then HM and TTT shoots this idea down #by showing us GF was already established and they came there as kids #so I guess we dont need to have a solid backstory for either Caleb or Philip /sarcasm
