Can't stop thinking about Giratina and the player character of Legends Arceus. Giratina was so angry at being locked away and even though it tries to kill you and destroy everything you've helped to build you still go back for it and pull it from its solitude in Turnback Cave and allow it to live in Hisui and protect it together until the player character dies and Giratina returns to its world. And then hundreds of years later it meets you again as you were before being pulled from your first home and it helps you protect what became Hisui again and befriends you again, the first time to the player, but Giratina knows now where you came from and what's going to happen and it knows it's Arceus' fault that you were taken from your home just like Arceus banished Giratina from its home even if you both made a new one in Hisui and

Well I like it but it’s not very well written. Also it’s a visual mess. The plot doesnt make any sense and the creators suck and its politics oscillate from mildly problematic to frankly baffling. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. However. the character

Something that I have noticed is I know almost nobody my age that goes to a food pantry. I know people who regularly run out of money for food and in general have to eat an unsuitable diet because that’s what they can afford and they still don’t go to a food bank, im not sure if it’s because they’re embarrassed or maybe if you didn’t grow up going you don’t know much about it but if you’re financially struggling I really recommend it. And look into other options for food assistance too like community fridges and gardens and other programs that can assist you, where I live Salvation Army pays for an allotted amount of grocery delivery for low income people every month, in the summer farmers take excess produce to the library to be taken by anyone who needs it, etc. There are a LOT of resources for free food that you can look into especially if you are literally not eating because of your financial situation

do you have any thoughts on Hala or his team? :3
OH MY GOD DO I
Hala met his crabominable as a kid! When it was still a crawbrawler she was hoarding berries and attacking both kids and other pokemon who tried to shake berry trees, so Hala wrestled her into submission with his bare hands. She has a huge temper. Hala still has a tendency to take on pokemon by himself, especially if Kukui needs a hand with research.
Being a kahuna runs in the family dating back hundreds of years. It was a pretty big deal when Hau's dad dipped. He and Hala got into arguments pretty often, and Hala blames himself a bit for him leaving. Beyond scaring Hau as a kid, it's part of the reason he never tries to correct Hau even when he starts showing the same problems applying himself as his dad. I've mentioned this one before, but he also helped Hau catch his first pokemon, his pichu!
Veering a little more into Hau territory, Kukui wasn't too sure how feasible it was to have trial captains and kahunas act as elite four members with the duties they already had, so he considered some other options (this is how Kahili was picked). One of those was actually Hau, but Kukui figured he would probably want to shoot for the champion title and knew that Hala was eyeing him now that he was beginning to take battling more seriously.
Hala and his daughter-in-law are very close. They both really love cooking. Excluding when Hau was doing his island trial, he always makes sure to have time to eat dinner with his family.

not to sound like a boomer, but I need some people to learn how to write emails in a semi-professional (at the very least) format so you're not cold emailing a business/potential employer/any other stranger about formal matters in the exact same way you'd DM a close friend on instagram
the formality/language can loosen up in the email chain once you've established a rapport and you match the other person if they're being less formal, but please don't have the very first email you send a stranger be written in all lowercase ultra-casual sms slang with no greeting or signature and a billion emojis

Batman gives each of his Robins a different code to use when they’re in trouble and need immediate extraction. He promises that when they call, he’ll drop everything just to get to them, come hell or high water.
Jason, during his time with the League, shares his code with Damian, to be used “only in the direst of circumstances, when you have exhausted all other options.” He doesn’t know if Bruce will answer, given how fractured their relationship was before he died, but it is better than nothing. Every tool counts when they live such dangerous lives.
Damian uses it exactly once, and Bruce, who still feels the loss of his son like a yawning chasm in his chest, responds to it even though he knows it can’t be Jason because Jason’s dead. What he finds, instead of Jason, is a boy in League garbs, drenched in blood from the tips of his midnight-black hair to his too-small feet, with a face that Bruce sees himself and Talia in, requesting asylum from a grandfather who wishes to possess his body. Bruce doesn’t question how this boy who is so clearly his son knew the code. Talia al Ghul is resourceful and places family above all; the code is not beyond her abilities to discover, and she is not above using Bruce’s desperate love for his dead son to ensure that hers does not meet the same fate.
Bruce takes Damian in, because of course he does, and since Jason is dead he allows Damian to keep using the code. After all, it’s not like Jason is alive to use it, right? If someone uses the code, there’s no one it could be but Damian, right?
The next time the code is used, Bruce traces the location to Gotham even though Damian was supposed to be in Bludhaven visiting Dick. But whatever happened that resulted in Damian being in Gotham can wait, because he has already failed one son and he will not fail another, his son is in trouble and he needs to get to him, he needs to—
What he finds, instead of Damian, is a boy (just eighteen, too young, but also too old, but also he will always be a boy to him) in League garbs, drenched in blood from the tips of his midnight-black hair to his too-large feet (when had he gotten so big), wearing the face of his dead son.
(Who, maybe, just maybe, may no longer be so dead.)
