It did not take long.

The player focused on the NPC's muscular arms, while the character kept them in a flexed position up in the air. Player#A97F4 was starting to enjoy the conversation and knew exactly what dialog option he would choose.

but logan doesn’t fight back. instead, he takes several steps back when she tries to approach him, both arms darting out in an attempt to rile him up into a real spar.

“stop trying. i’m not doing this with you,” logan sighs, touching gloves with her everytime she tries to reach forward for him. “i know you were in martial arts growing up too, but i wasn’t. i’m just here because you asked me to be here.”

For the past few months, fans have been speculating when the artist would release more music since having been in a rumored relationship with the proclaimed gotham elite, Jason Todd. FNF CONNECTED UNIVERSE LINE UP Part 1: The Boyfriends

Chat. I spent 34 hours in this canvas. I am so tired.

Anyways, when I began working on Connected Universe AU, I already knew I'd be making line ups. Cuz I love making line ups and I also love suffering.

Alternate Universe Boyfriends

So all these guys, unlike the other BFs present on this line up, are actually BF but from different universes. They're the same dude.

I thought it'd be neat to display the fact that they're from different universes by drawing them all in different art styles. It was also a fun exercise to test my art style range.

So starting from the left, we got Base Game BF. The main universe one. He's drawn in my usual art style. Not much special about him. Boyfriend.XML my beloved. I will note here though that I did take some of the elements form my own BF design and threw them onto the AU BFs. So that's why they all have some sort of jacket/hoodie etc.

Then we got Yourself. I reverted to old tactics and used my sketch for his line art, which results in him having thicker line art in general. I also further distinguished him by giving him harsh black shading. He always has that. He already had it on his face, so I just gave it to the rest of his body too. Cuz silly. You. You could even say. Silly Billy- 💥💥💥

Then we have Funkadelix. Him and a few other BFs make use of the Blackburn brush for their line art, cuz idk I like that brush. I referenced the Mutant Mayhem style when making him, since in the Connected Universe, he's in the same universe as those turtles. His colors are mostly yoinked from the actual Funkadelix sprite. I think. I may have tweaked them a bit/eyeballed them idk. I prolly eyeballed them.

Then we got Monday Dusk Monolith (MDM). I really went with the mentality of "NO ROUND SHAPES" with this fucker. Just wanted him to look super sharp and scratchy, since that AU is literally dealing with an apocalypse. So sharp shapes just made sense in my brain.

I had a lot of issues settling on a style for Mix, so I just chose to take inspiration from the FNF loading screens, cuz it just fit in my brain, idk. His design also features present in my Pico design, like the stupid cleat shoes and stray hair lines. Yknow, since he's literally a mix of BF and Pico. He also uses Blackburn

Finally, HD. I decided to try and go for a semi realistic style for him, proportion wise at least. Cuz. Yknow. HD. He also uses the blackburn brush, but I also pulled an old tactic for him and made his sketch visible over his coloring. Cuz idk, I think it lends towards the vibe.

"Side" BFs

Okay, now we're REALLY getting into AU territory.

So from here on out, all the BFs are separate people from THE BF, and have their own names and shit.

So staring off, we got Blake. I was reading through his wiki trivia and saw them say his style was more "radical and funky" than base BF's. I saw the word funky and ran with it dawg. So that explains this clothes. I also tried my darndest to get rid of a lot of the BFs caps, cuz dude, I can't have that many fuckers having cubic backwards caps. So I gave Blake a pair of star shaped sunglasses cuz funky, chat, FUNKY. We decided that his stage name is Love Bird, and he chose that cuz that's a pet name his GF has for him, and if he had a band it'd be called The Birds of Paradise.

Then we got .XML. I immediately knew I wanted to give him a mullet. Look at this man and tell me he wouldn't have a mullet. Besides that, not much changed. Since he kept the name of .XML, I imagine he is actually related to BF in some way, and he just goes by his last name. They might be cousins or brothers or something idk. There's also more dumbass info on him here:

Then there's River, or G-Sides BF. I took a lot of inspiration from his teaser designs, cuz they were silly. Literally named his river after the dumbass river design on his sweater. I don't got much info on him besides that. I can't talk about River without including this image so here:

The New Yorkers

This group is literally named after the fact that they all live in NY in my AU. Technically, the Minus BFs should also be here, but they're their own group.

Starting with Bartholomew, or B3, I just took the shape of his glasses and ran with it. Chat I needed to get that shape language from somewhere. I actually drew him twice, since the first time around I really was not digging how I drew him. He's fine now tho. His ass only got brim, cuz he had to be different somehow. Other than that. not much changed for him.

Now Evan.. Evan gave me so many issues. Like, dawg I drew him three times. I kept on trying to make the orange in his upcoming design WORK but I just COULDNT chat i COULDNT

So, per @braveboiart 's request, I ended up getting rid of it entirely and replacing it with his blues and grays. They also gave me the advice of brightening the colors a bit, which was very easy for me to do, I love bright ass colors. I also touched up his design shape wise, since that was also lacking the first time around. So boom, zippers on the pants and baggy ass sleeves. I'm content with how he came out. Chat I did all his design touch ups while I was exhausted out of my mind. Sometimes you gotta be delirious with sleep deprivation in order to cook, kids, trust me (please do not be like me-)

Benjamin was pretty simple. Kept him soft, kept him round, kept him pastel. Got rid of the caution sign on his hoodie since .XML already had that, and just replaced it with paint splatters. Not much more to say.

With X's design, I got a lot of help from my good good friend @minxtheeenby , mainly when figuring out his hair style. Those braids are not actually his hair, and are fuckass cords that connect to his headphones and can move independently. Don't ask about the logic, I will not be thinking about it. He was born in Philly cuz of his fuckass white eyes. White eyes means Philly, I don't make the rules here.

Minus BFs

So. Beta. I had actually drawn him before this point, and he didn't change much from then

He has arrow shaped top surgery scars cuz I love giving constantly shirtless characters top scars and I just. HAD TO once I had the idea to make them arrow shaped. Main things to change since that drawing are some details on his pants and some of his colors; notedly the fact that his hat is a darker color compared to his skin to further distinguish it. Also Brave kept trying to get me to make parts of his design the same color as his nipples. So that happened /lh

Chat. I let my furry show with Blue. BUT CHAT HEAR ME OUT. On the wiki it's stated that he's a "Dog??". You think I could look at that and not go all the way? So yeah. Dog. He's silly and he got his weird ear ring things from his sister (Minus Miku).

Not much to say on Mean, he barely changed. I just drew him in my style and added a few details. He might also be an alien, idk.

Now, I posted about Golden a bit, but for those who didn't see that insanity: I made him an Alien Hominid. Cuz small yellow alien=Alien Hominid in my brain. Flawless logic. (Don't worry chat, I sat down and extensively researched the AH series to the best of my ability to check if it made sense. And I didn't see anything that would make it not make sense?) But yeah, silly. Him and Otis might be buddies, cuz goofy.

Who Fuckin Knows

These guys are just all the guys I had nowhere else to put. Miscellaneous group.

So first we have Bonnie, or Saturday Night Swappin' BF. He's another one that I had to go back and touch up. I actually touched him up the same night/morning as Evan. He ended up turning purple. The name we assigned him was an omen /j Chat I swear he was originally blue, I don't know what happened

HC that he just got really into FNaF when he was younger and has just been cosplaying a humanized Bonnie the Bunny ever since /hj

BIDU GAVE ME SO MANY ISSUES AND IDK WHY. It's prolly cuz by the time I got to him I was getting SUPER burnt. But I prospered and was able to finish him. And I don't hate how he came out, so bonus points there. Main change was replacing the prohibition sign on his shirt with a lightning bolt, cuz no one but BF is allowed to have that symbol, and Bidu already had lightning bolt imagery, so eh why not. His eyebrows being green, at least in my style, implies his hair is naturally green, and he just added the blue and pink, and I find that slightly humorous, idk.

Keith (StarCatcher) was another one I had to go back and touch up, but that's due to the fact that I was informed that him and his GF got a redesign before the creator deleted their FNF stuff. So I had to go back and fix my design according to that. I also leaned into the scape suit direction cuz SHAPE.

Now, you might be wondering, why is Flippin BF here and not with the other alternates? He was grouped with him in a previous post? Well, that's because after more assessment, I decided that Friday Night Flippin' is in fact, in the same universe as Base FNF and not an alternate universe like I had previously decided. So I changed his design a bit (mainly just getting rid of his hat and changing the color of his shoes) and boom. Different guy. He is staying pixel art tho. I do still need to come up with a different name for him tho.

Now this next one, Heath, is not from a currently existing mod, but from an FNF AU my friend Minx is making.

I decided to include him cuz he's silly and I love him. Their AU is canon to the Connected Universe.

Okay, so Cam (Hellbeats BF) changed A LOT. I let my furry slip out again. BUT I HAVE ANOTHER REASON FOR IT. See, in this connected universe, it's not just Newgrounds stuff that is canon. I also made other fandoms I'm in canon. So that means the Hellaverse is canon (specifically my rewritten version of it), and Hellbeats has to fit in with that. So I had to assign the characters species from that universe as well. So I made Cam a cherub, cuz I wanted him to stay short as fuck. He's also a raccoon cuz he's a lil shit and I thought it'd fit If ur curious, this is what everyone else is:

Ngl i would be constantly buying bullets for Mista because i'd be impressed and wanting to see him shot more, would compliment him and Sex Pistols a lot dawg like that's so cool my father tried to teach me to use a rifle and guns but i'm too much of a prude (and was 6) so didn't want to learn

(guns, even smaller ones are pretty weighty in my opinion…loud too for obvious reasons but kind of neat as a weapon. Another reason I like Mista and Sex Pistols, just from the ingenuity he has with them and his gun/bullets)

I’m certain he’d appreciate the extra ammo, (as do the pistols themselves). Of course if you’re going to be spending money on his gun and stand, he’s bound to make it up to you somewhere down the line. It’ll probably be some nice restaurant, not touristy at all and known for good food by the locals. Plus if nobody is really around besides others tending to other restaurant guests, the pistols might pop up and you get the extra benefit of feeding them again.

It’s totally not a round about plan to go on a date without calling it a date. It’s a win-win he gets ammo, his pistols and for you. (If you’re pretty straight forward with it being a date, he can finally consider himself your boyfriend officially).

Plus there is the occasion he does target practice too, so he could probably coax you along out where no one else is around to get hurt. I’m almost certain you can get him to jabber on how to properly hold/load his, not to mention how easy it is to screw up a shot. (He has the pistols for his backup). But he’ll shut right up and just let you dote over the pistols if you really want to.

Arthur Griffin had a weird obsession with collaboration projects for some ungodly reason. And this was the weirdest one yet. He found a grunge band that made it big in San Diego and signed them on. Either he was trying to push Big Time Rush out of the spotlight, or he really liked grunge was unknown.

This time, he demanded that Big Time Rush perform a cover with the grunge band's leader singer. The song would be taken from their second album and spun to accommodate all five singers.

No one was happy.

"You already have a pretty face! Why do you need another one?" James shrieked, gesturing to his face with fluttery fingers and a dramatic gesture.

"Hell no! I am not letting some boyband losers taint my song!" Drake snapped at Gustavo.

"We are not losers!" Carlos shouted.

Soon, the boys' voices overlapped with Drake's, echoing off the walls in the hallway. Ronnie held her hands over her ears. It was one thing when the four guys started arguing, but it was an entirely separate ordeal when a stranger was thrown into the mix. She was sitting cross-legged, looking through the sheet music to get a feel for the song and its subject. Pen marks covered the page. Notes were circled, and words in the margins were scratched out.

A girl with curly, fiery red hair sat next to her, idly scrolling on her phone. She was dressed in all black, with chains and safety pins holding pieces of her clothing together. Her face and shoulders were peppered with freckles, and her off-the-shoulder shirt made it easy to spot them.

"I need everybody to stop talking!" Gustavo shouted over the cacophony of voices. "You are singing with the dawgs!" He jutted a grubby finger in Drake's direction. "You- " He turned away from James, who deflated like a balloon.

"Do we have any objections?"

Drake rolled his eyes and scoffed, muttering under his breath. "This is such a load of shit."

The girl sitting beside Ronnie gently tapped her on the shoulder. Despite her punk-esque exterior, she had a sweet smile on her face. In a way, she reminded her of Callie—tough on the outside, gentle on the inside.

"I'm Marnie," the redhead extended her hand covered in black and silver rings.

Ronnie hesitantly uncovered her ears. She had forgotten her earplugs, but even with them, the guys somehow got louder in different ways. She stared at Marnie's outstretched hand, brows furrowed in confusion. No one had ever shaken her hand when they greeted her. Awkwardly, she shook the girl's hand.

"Ronnie, their songwriter."

"Oh, songwriter! Nice. I'm Drake's girlfriend," she shrugged. Her arms were decorated with way too many bracelets. Ronnie wondered if they ever got sweaty underneath it all.

"Cool." That wasn't a fact she needed to know, but perhaps the girl thought she would have a crush on her boyfriend. Either way, it was useless information. "Hey, how well do you know this song?" Ronnie thrust the sheet music in her direction.

"Oh." Marnie blinked twice, reading the title. "What exactly do you need help on?"

"Gustavo wants me to split it amongst the five of them,"

"That's easy, can I?" Marnie held her hand out. She gestured to the pen with her eyes.

"Uh, sure." Ronnie handed her the pen and leaned over curiously.

"The chorus should be the five, or maybe even layered. Oh! Wait, perhaps a call and response?"

The two girls huddled together, discussing ideas about the sheet music, while Gusvato got the guys together. He didn't like the collaboration idea either, mainly because the song they were signing was one that Drake had written himself. The guys were set up in the booth when he realized he was missing someone.

"Where's Vee?" He turned to Kelly.

"She's still outside going over the music." Kelly pointed over her shoulder out the door.

"We need that like yesterday!" Gustavo's face tinged red.

"It's okay, it's okay! I'm sure she's finished with it!" Kelly tried to calm him. The last thing they needed was for him to pass out before they started singing.

The door to the recording studio. Kelly poked her head out into the hallway. Ronnie and Marnie were still chatting, but from the looks of it, they were finished.

"Ronnie!" She whispered, gesturing over with her hands.

The teen got up and curiously wandered over.

"We're ready, " Kelly said with a tight smile. "Oh, and bring your roadie friend along, too."

Ronnie glanced over her shoulder, and Marnie gave her a wave.

Big Time Rush and Drake Parker had essentially divided the recording booth. They refused to stand next to each other. Drake and James shot each other dirty looks and even stuck the middle finger at each other.

The recording... didn't go as planned.

Drake interrupted the guys when they were singing, and James interrupted Drake. This eventually led to a competition between them to see who could sing the song better.

Out of embarrassment, Marnie covered her face with her hands and looked away. Ronnie pulled off her headphones once the two of them started arguing again. Gustavo was more than pissed.

Which resulted in them getting an early break.

"I'm telling Griff he can forget it. There's no way I'm singing with a zealous popstar." Drake took Marnie's hand and started walking away.

"Zealous?" Marnie laughed. "I'm surprised you know that worked."

"Hah. She just called you dumb!" James laughed. "Burn!"

"Okay, fuck you!" Drake turned on his heel and got in James' face.

Ronnie and Kendall exchanged weary looks.

"Seriously, I don't get why she's with you if you're such a jerk face." James spat.

Drake rolled up his sleeves. "First, that's a low blow considering I don't see your girlfriend."

"For your information, she is very famous-"

"Drake!"

Kendall, Carlos, and Logan went to James' rescue when they saw the ginger throw the first punch. Marnie eventually got into the fray, trying to pry the three of them off the singer. Ronnie went to grab the first-aid kit because she would indeed have to bandage someone's wounds.

Kelly had to break them up this time. She did not get paid enough to deal with all these teenagers. Logan had a busted lip, but Carlos and Kendall were relatively okay. James whined about how Drake punched him in the face and that it would ruin his beauty.

Marnie pinched Drake's ear like she was his mother. It was something she'd seen Audrey Parker do way too many times. With surprising strength, she dragged the boy to the band, sitting in semi-comfortable chairs.

"Apologize!" Marnie planted her hands on her hips.

"What? No, that's gay!" Drake grimaced.

"You're bi, now apologize before I make you."

Ronnie blinked twice. Okay, she could go for Marnie if they were both single.

"Okay, okay! I'm sorry!"

"Like you mean it." Marnie pinched his ear harder.

"Alright, alright! I mean it! I'm sorry!" As soon as Marnie let go of his ear, Ronnie handed him something for the pain. He snatched it from her angrily, and a muscle in Kendall's jaw twitched.

James narrowed his eyes. "I'm not accepting that apology. You ruined my face!"

"I made it look better- " Marnie elbowed him.

"I think it's best if we all put this behind us and get working on that collab Griffin asked for."

Carlos squeaked and nodded. He didn't know whether he was scared or turned on, maybe a bit of both.

Ronnie definitely needed tips from her so that she could handle Big Time Rush the same way that Marnie could handle Drake. They could go on a double date sometime, but she would probably have to bargain with Kendall if she ever proposed that idea. There was this glint in her eye that scared the blonde.

i think the biggest thing I didn’t like is that everything went by so quickly. Like characters talked so fast and it didn’t give me time to process what just happened before we’re already halfway into the next thing. Like give me time to breathe dawg. I really think the movie could have been much better if you added like 10-15 minutes to the run time

Art tips for beginners? :3

I'm gonna try n be helpful here, but please keep in mind that I've been drawing my whole life, so I can't give you the perspective of someone who is just startin out.

1: Don't give up. Cheesy as fuck, I know. But you are gonna get pissed n fuckin angry when somethin doesn't turn out how you wanted it to. Don't let this discourage you! Use your mistakes and errors to keep on improving. There's no need to tear up drawings or delete anything that you aren't 100% satisfied with because you are growing in your abilities. AND TRUST that it is so rewarding to see your progress over time.

2: Challenge yourself n expect to hate it. Try all sorts of styles (cartoon, realism, or even just photo studies), do few details, do loads of details, do timed drawings, etc. Test the limits of what you can do. Similar to the previous advice, you need to allow yourself to be angry n hate the product that comes from this because you will eventually start finding your own creative style n process.

3: Don't pressure yourself beyond belief. You will not be an 'amazing' or 'visually appealing' artist from the get-go. If you are gettin burned out, allow yourself to take a break from time to time. With this though, once you start gettin more comfortable, even when you're burnt out creatively- I HEAVILY encourage you to keep doing small drawings OR other creative things to keep your mind going.

4: Experiment wit different mediums n shit like that! Explore! There is so many different forms of art to fuckin enjoy. Digital, traditional, watercolour, acrylic, clay, fuckin anything. When you get into non-digital mediums, keep cost in mind, but there are plenty of cheap alternatives that are great when you're startin out (also once you get 'better', you can control these much better, n they don't look like the initial cheap product). I personally use a lot of dollar tree shit n I used to steal from the art class in my school (but that was more out of necessity, if you can avoid it, please do. You can get in HUGE trouble if you're caught). But the main message is to experiment n try new things because there's so many different mediums out there.

5: Take in the world around you. Look at everything n think about how you could portray that in art. Really study the world. The faces people make when they don't think they're makin any, the grime that most people ignore building up on everyday objects, how people's body language says a LOT about how they feel, the way light casts in obscure ways, etc. Instead of just viewing the things around you, really look and take in the experience of bein human. Even impressionistic art holds these intricate details. You just have to be open to the experience.

6: Appreciate, but don't compare. I cannot stress dis shit enough, your art is your own, it is no one else's, so there's no need to harp on "oh this person draws x,y,and z better than me" n blah blah blah STOP! Dawg, you are doin your own shit, don't worry about if you're not on the same 'level' as others, or don't have the same 'capabilities' as some mfs. When you see other people's art, appreciate the things that they can do, but appreciate what you can do too! Especially when you're first really gettin your foot in the whole art shit, it is important to not judge your abilities compared to others who may have a lot more experience under their belt. I think it's totally okay to look at art n be like "oh that's super cool, I'd definitely like to improve on things like that", but never use it to put down your own art. This shit is subjective bro, you'll get to where you want to be. It takes a lot of time, it's not linear, but you WILL. It may not be how you expected it to look at first, but that's okay! Give yourself grace. Art is for you, at the end of the day.

You are gonna fight with yourself n the art itself, but that's totally normal! Art is one of the best forms of expression n I really hope the best for you. I know I was vague as shit n this isn't no tutorial on how to draw a realistic portrait or some shit- but that's because there's no right way to do this. Go balls to the walls or just dip your fuckin toes in. Approach it how you want, there's no right or wrong way to do art. I hope that this was somewhat helpful n I wasn't just spewin shit outta my ass n I truly wish you a good art journey

I went out after watching Ghostblade's 2nd PV release, so I couldn't post in the morning lol. Ghostblade's PV is really interesting. My image of his backstory is so different compared to this. I thought that "oh, he's definitely gonna be mentally ill in some way like the loss of his wife or maybe even daughter.." Eh, but like.. That may be the part of that but not the main. I thought his lack of emotions was the result of the experimentations he suffered, but looking back to the 2nd PV, it looked like he was naturally like that. Being surrounded by multiple people that are sharing their joy, drinking, giving out food to each other while Ghostblade just sits there unfazed.

I figured that his parent or guardian thought there was an abnormality in him because how he wasn't like the "normal kids." They find it sick. Having a child that's incapable of expressing the emotions that a normal person has is sickening to them. So their solution was to take him to a doctor and perform what ever they do to "fix" him?? Dawg. He probably didn't think that lacking the most essential part of what makes human, "human", was a problem. He didn't know what was wrong with him-- what makes him different from other people. He never realized his symptoms were THAT bad. What he thinks of laughing, crying, smiling, or any other ways of expression always lead him into finding it "laughable." He literally can't find a purpose for those emotions. Anyways, speaking of that, here comes a person that changed him, his wife! His wife alone was able to affect Ghostblade to the point where it made him found what he was missing, and now he's unable to let go of it. Within just a day too, How romantic! /j... Too bad she died and his...eh.. possible daughter (Nuonuo) thinks of him as a stranger. Yes, just because she has grey hair and also had a scene together with Ghostblade..

His train of thought is so odd. It's no wonder why people didn't understand him clearly. Just him comparing the differences of animals' and peoples' cries and him being able to feel what they are is already weird enough. Go king! And comparing the peoples' tears to the oceans. Hello.. "Human tears are like waves of the ocean, carrying too many things that they want to leave on the beach." AND HIS IS EMPTY? GET OUT. This mf isn't letting anything go. Like, I have a feeling that there's gonna be a villain that uses this weakness as an advantage.. But Ghostblade will still find a way to win lol. I'm glad that we saw him crying at the 2nd PV though. It really shows us how much he changed. No matter who the person is, they will still be affected by the loss of a loved one. With a child is double the damage too, ouch! I feel like I'm gonna cry on his story. Just imagine being completely numb for your entire life then finding someone that changed you from that only for them to die, and then you can't respond properly to their death. Boo. How scary!

It looks like he's still getting check on everyday. Other than his disorder or whatever it's called, they could also be checking his abilities if it affected him?.. His powers looks like it makes him go in a crazed state. Make sure he isn't cuckoo always..

Hero Smile mentioned, is he also unable to make Ghostblade smile? It'll be funny to ridicule a hero that makes everyone smile not be able to make 1 person smile at all.. "Get a load of this guy." Ghostblade says while pointing at him in silence. (My thoughts on his character) Ehh.. to be honest I didn't really expect for him to be emotionless. (I've always thought of it but I lowk just discarded it..) I always thought of him as the "cold and silent killer" that they always use to describe him. Just giggling and pointing at him and saying "Oh yeah, that guy is just waaaaaay too nonchalant. haha!" Then I got STABBED today. Hello?? But he's cool. Definitely not letting something slide if it involves him, his daughter, his wife, and maybe something that's also responsible of changing him other than his wife! Quiet and all that, he wouldn't bat an eye to your direction. He isn't numb as before, he's able to show what he feels but can't express it very well. er. i hope. AURGH. Maybe....maybe..... also affected by the blood stained on his hands. It may be for good but sometimes, he just can't help but stare at it in a way.. Concerned looking ass 😭😭

I don't know what else to say about him since this is just a dilly dally whatever the fuck his 2nd PV contained and looking at the most interesting stuff of his character YADAYADA. I know that backstory is gonna be TRAGIC. I can't wait to see the angst edits out of this guy.
