George “Georgie” Cooper Jr.
ESTP
Dominant Se (Extroverted Sensing) / Inferior Ni (Introverted Intuition)
Georgie is impulsive in ways the rest of the family is not, and has the ability to react quickly and without question. This is a trait that was initially portrayed as negative, but the older he gets, the more useful it is. He lies to Mandy for the sake of his own sexual pleasure, but once he gets her pregnant, he is able to react immediately and without question. He quits school to work, which ends up working in the long run. He decides to marry Mandy, which is seen as impulsive to many. He is also able to negotiate very easily and quickly, which makes him a good salesman.
Auxiliary Ti (Introverted Thinking) / Tertiary Fe (Extroverted Feeling)
Georgie doesn’t obtain a lot of knowledge from books, like Sheldon, so he relies on his own set of knowledge. Because of this, Sheldon, George, and even Mary sees him as kind of stupid. While lying about his age, he sees it as wrong, but he is able to reason it by saying Mandy lied about her age first- even though Georgie lied about being an adult, and came clean before anything happened between them. He also cares very deeply for his family, even Sheldon, trying to protect the peace. He gets Connie when Mary begins to fall apart, comforts Missy at their father’s funeral, and hides what’s going on from Sheldon, as a means to protect him.

In a previous episode, adult Sheldon said in narration that Georgie married his first wife at 19.
Georgie just turned 18, so hopefully that means that Mandy will have enough sense to say no to his marriage proposal.
At least for now.

OMG SHELDON’S BIG BROTHER GEORGIE LUV HIM
I am very biased with oldest sibling characters
Alec was my favourite from moment one
Wylan, sign me up
Pip needn’t say more than “her little brother” for me to instantly think she is one of the coolest MCs
Tori springs older sister magic🫡
Micheal Afton=Oldest Brother=Cool
Uenoyamas’ big-sister is really cool the five seconds on screen she gets
Itachi might have murdered some people, but he is big bro, what was he supposed to do?
Yor Briar/Forger is very cool, she can’t cook for the life of her, but big sis is always big sis<3
#georgie cooper#George Cooper Jr#Young sheldon#big bang theory#Missy is also queen but tein and not elder sibling

IF (2024) review
Seems like John Krasinski wanted to apologise to his kids after scarring them for life with A Quiet Place.
Plot: After discovering she can see everyone's imaginary friends, a girl embarks on a magical adventure to reconnect forgotten imaginary friends with their kids.
One must ponder the question WHAT IF John Krasinski decided to make a good movie? Okay, that’s harsh, but in all seriousness IF isn’t a great film. About 30 minutes into watching this, I realized it wasn't going to have the broad, universal appeal of many films in this genre. It's extremely sad in parts, and then shifts to total silliness, then back to sad again. Films can be a lot of things at different times, but it was sort of whiplash here going from silly to sad and back again. As such it begs the question who this movie is intended for? Naturally one would think children as it’s got goofy imaginary characters and a lot of slapstick and stupid jokes, but then there are genuinely depressing and hard-hitting moments where it seems to connect more with adults and their traumatic experiences. The film suffers a huge identity crisis that is its primary downfall.
Also IF is boring. The plot just sort of wanders and things happen that bear no purpose towards progressing the primary narrative. The characters are also poorly written without, dare I say, much imagination, with Cailey Fleming as the little girl protagonist being extremely monotone and lifeless, and for someone who’s supposed to be inspiring and helping these imaginary friends find a new home, she lacks any energy to motivate. I recall she was way more likeable and charismatic as Judith Grimes in The Walking Dead and it’s not like that show is known for great writing, especially in the later seasons, yet there she left much more of an impression than in this film. Ryan Reynolds is enjoying his cool uncle era, yet even he felt really restrained here. Like it is still Reynolds doing his shtick, but it was missing something which I can’t put my finger on. As for the imaginary friends themselves, there are lots of voice cameos featured throughout, but again not many of these creatures actually had that memorable of a personality. Steve Carell is trying his upmost best as the big purple fluff that’s walked out of Monsters Inc., but I was finding him irritating more than anything. Of the more amusing ones there was Richard Jenkins as an Art Teacher and he has the most delightful voice, Bradley Cooper as a glass of ice which I found more entertaining than I should have, and Sam Rockwell as a superhero dog deserves a movie of his own. And again why the hell is Awkwafina in this? She’s voiced characters in like a gazillion animations in the last decade but her voice is so grading.
Usually I would admit to not being the right target audience for a movie that’s billed as for children, however in this case I feel the movie doesn’t really fit for anyone per se. It does seem that John Krasinski works best when there’s less dialogue like with his spectacular horror A Quiet Place, yet here IF seems to miss the mark. I’m certain this is done with good intentions, and maybe I’m being overly cynical here, but IF does not paint a solid case for imaginary friends.
Overall score: 3/10

@anon cam gigandet sucks wbk!!!! he’s always spoken about how dickish the core four actors were but also comes off dickish himself so i don’t fully trust his judgment. whereas mischa has kept her mouth shut when i’m sure she hated working with him (note: careful pod editing)
ah yeah i did reluctantly love GoT for a time. then s8 happened and it honestly made me depressed so i’ve almost fully divested myself of it. it’s good to hear that actor is nice irl!!! i’ve heard that about him. and i’ve heard the opposite of the actor who played b***

What does it look like when a Hollywood insider has the executive and connection-based goodwill to make a family movie that’s distinctly in his own nostalgia cycle but has a tone and feel that has resulted in it being broadly mismarketed as something beyond the very broad imaginary friend concepts? Say hello to John Krasinski’s decidedly misjudged family weepy IF. Sold as a star-studded imaginary…

IF (2024) Review
Charming and whimsical to a fault, John Kransinski's IF is a lovingly rendered ode to childhood and imagination.
John Kransinski all but weaponises whimsy in charming but slight fable IF Writer/ Director John Krasinski has a passion when it comes to his projects, and that passion is family. You can see it in A QUIET PLACE and its sequel, and it forms the beating heart of his latest offering, IF. Determined this time to make something inspired by and – crucially – for his children, IF ushers audiences into…

IF (U): Splashes of Spielbergian Magic But Trying Too Hard To Please All Audiences.
#onemannsmovies #film review of "IF". #IFMovie, #ImaginaryFriend. A family film that's good fun but didn't blow me away. 3.5/5.
A One Mann’s Movies review of “IF” (2024). “IF” stands for “Imaginary Friend”. If in a year or twos time you are a parent picking a DVD for a sleepover, it’s vitally important that you don’t get this film muddled with either Lindsay Anderson’s “If” from 1968… or even worse, “It” from 2017! Of all the films previewed in the first half of the year, THIS is the one that all of my older…

Congrats to the ultimate winner of the Hot & Vintage Movie Men Tournament, Mr. Toshiro Mifune! May he live happily and well where the sun always shines, enjoying the glories of a battle hard fought.
A loving farewell to all of our previous contestants, who are now banished to the shadow realm and all its dark joys and whispered horrors—I hear there's a picnic on the village green today. If you want to remember the fallen heroes, you can find them all beneath the cut.
What happens next? I'll be taking a break of two weeks to rest from this and prep for the Hot & Vintage Ladies Tournament. I'll still be around but only minimally, posting a few last odes to the hot men before transitioning into a little early ladies content, just like I did with this last tournament. The submission form for the Hot & Vintage Ladies tournament will remain up for one more week (closing February 21st), so get your submissions in for that asap! Once the form closes, there will be one more week of break. The first round of the Hot & Vintage Ladies Tournament will be posted on February 29th, as Leap Year Day seems like a fitting allusion to leaping into these ladies' arms.

“¡Ay Dios Mio Georgie!” Y/N exclaimed, looking for the curly-headed boy, who, by the way, fell off the couch from being surprised.
Georgie looked frantically, rubbing the sore spot as he accidentally hit the table. “What? What?” He repeated, standing up quickly. Truth be told, he’s nervous; he doesn't know what he did wrong… again.
Y/N frowned, quickly helping the boy sit down again before going in front of him, tapping her foot relentlessly. “What did I say about shoes inside the house?”
Georgie sighed before slowly taking off his shoes. "Yes, yes, mi luna.”
"Oh, don’t you sigh at me, George Cooper Jr. You know that I don’t like that in my house.” Y/N raised her eyebrow, “No matter how much you speak Spanish to me, mi sol, no shoes inside. Entiendes?”
Georgie sighed with a smile before wrapping his arms around Y/N’s waist. "Yes, ma’am.” He stood up, towering over her. “To make it up to Mi Luna, want to go on a date with me?”
Y/N crossed her arms and pretended to think about it, but laughed when Georgie nipped her neck to her jaw. "Alright, alright, fine. But where?” She wrapped her arms around the boy’s neck, stepping closer to him.
“It’s a need to know, Mi Luna, just get ready.” Georgie kissed her cheek before sitting back down on the couch.
"Okay, give me...”
“Take all the time you need, darlin’; I’m in no rush.”
