I’m trying to reteach myself a year of chemistry before I start AP chem next year but science is definitely not my thing. In other news, I finished Gentleman’s Guide (I highly recommend the audiobook on youtube) and the ending was delightful. I read the letter a couple times before I put the book down and it was definitely my favorite part. I just picked up The Importance of Being Earnest by Oscar Wilde a couple minutes ago and I’m pretty excited to get into it. I didn’t mention it in my last post but I’m also participating in 24 in 48! I don’t expect to get anywhere close to 24 hours but I enjoy pushing myself and I’ll continue updating as I get farther along.

One of the books I read this month was “The Gentleman’s Guide to Vice and Virtue” by Mackenzi Lee, and I just have to say I can’t believe it took me this long to read it. Really a fantastic book, and a good start to a new year of reading. Do you do Goodreads challenges? I did one last year and hit a whopping 42 books— which would’ve been fantastic, had my goal not been 50. And though I didn’t meet that goal, I’m aiming for at least 55 this year. I’m currently trying to finish The Gentleman’s Guide to Vice and Virtue by Makenzi Lee and I’m hoping to be done by tomorrow.
