Sethos x Scaramouche/Wanderer (romantic)
Lee: Sethos
Ler: Scaramouche
Warnings: Tickles! Gey
___________________________________________
Rays of sunshine started seeping through the blinds, signaling the start of a new day. The warm glow embraced Scaramouche’s features, causing the indigo male to let out an annoyed grumble. He not so delicately rubbed the sleep out of his eyes, stretching out his limbs until they grew numb.
While ungraciously sitting up with a drowsy pout, he looked over to his side. A tangle of limbs and sheets, also known as Sethos, snored away without a care in the world.
It was quite the sight, some might even call it cute.
The Wanderer reached out, gently tugging down on the blanket to reveal his lover’s face. Letting out a soft chuckle at the bit of drool that dripped out of his mouth.
“Adorable…” the ex-harbinger murmured to himself, further tugging down the covers that encased his lover.
He watched as Sethos shifted in his sleep, goosebumps rising across his skin as the cool air hit bare skin.
Scaramouche couldn’t help drift his gaze towards the expanse that was his bare back. Such soft, supple skin. He couldn’t help but want to touch it. Without thinking much, he started to delicately trace his fingertips across the smooth skin, instantly growing mesmerized by the feel. Like a cat playing with a new, shiny toy.
He really had fallen down the deep end when it came to love. Not in a million years did he think he’d revel in something as simple as skin contact. His thoughts got interrupted as he heard a sound akin to a… giggle? He stopped his movements, glancing over to Sethos’s face, only to still see him out for the count. Though, there was now a cute, little smile stretched across his lips.
Wanderer didn’t think much of it and went back to mapping out his back, as if trying to memorize every curve.
“Hehe…”
Okay, that definitely was a giggle. Scara watched Sethos’s smile grow brighter, earning a smirk from the former.
“Finally awake, little bee?” There was a teasing lilt in hat guy’s voice, his fingers never seizing their movements.
“Yeah- Hehe! What are- what are you doing?”
“Simply admiring your back. Though someone seems a bit too ticklish for that~” His smirk grew more teasing before he leaned his face closer, placing a gentle kiss on the exposed patch of skin.
“EEP?!” Sethos squeaked, his eyes widening in shock at the embarrassing sound that escaped his lips. The blush on his cheeks not trailing too far behind.
“Heh, cute” Scaramouche started using both hands, trailing his fingers softly up and down the sides of his boyfriend’s bare torso.
“Oh c’mon honey, no- Hah! No tickling…!” Sethos whined into the pillow. Despite his protests, he didn't try to get away.
“Tch, don’t act like you’re not loving the attention. You could easily get away if you wanted to, little bee”
“But I’m sleepy- EHEEK?! WAHAHAIT!” The squeal that came out of Sethos probably resounded through all of Sumeru, having reached new heights in pitch when Scara started lightly pressing his fingers between his ribcage. Wiggling against the sensitive bones.
“NAHAHAHA! MOCHI, NOT THEHEHERE!” Sethos squirmed and writhed, his limbs flailing all over the place as he laughed his head off. He could feel his face erupt in warmth from the whole ordeal.
The Wanderer’s teasing expression softened up to a more endearing look, absolutely smitten by the mess of giggles and limbs he had created.
“Not here? Are you sure? It drives you insane with laughter though~” He cooed against the flustered man’s ear, earning another cute squeal.
“PLEASE, IT’S- AHAHAHA! IT'S SO BAD THEHEHERE!”
Scara couldn’t help but laugh along. Watching his boyfriend struggle to form coherent sentences was wildly amusing and adorable.
“Oh fine, I’ll go somewhere else then~”
Sethos missed the playful tone in his boyfriend’s voice as he made the mistake of relaxing once those pesky fingers stopped tormenting his ribs. He slumped down against the mattress, trying to steady his breathing. “Ahahah… thank you- WAIT! THAT’S WOHOHORSE!”
He could’ve sworn his soul almost left his body when he suddenly felt small, blunt nails scratching and wiggling away under his arms.
“What was that? I couldn’t hear you over all that laughter~” Scaramouche placed a small kiss on the warm shell of his partner’s ear, his fingers digging into the sensitive skin to draw out every last laugh, squeal and giggle.
“HYAHAHAH! PLEASE, MERCYHIHIHI!” Sethos threw his head back, and that’s when the world seemed to stop for Scaramouche. Time froze, his eyes widened as he saw his boyfriend’s crimson red face. Eyes squeezed shut and nose scrunched up, and that smile. Oh, that smile did things to him. It was so… pure, so bright and full of life. And that sweet sound of laughter that just seemed to scratch his brain in all the right spots. Everything about Sethos is mesmerizing, making Scara feel like a lovestruck fool. He was snapped out of his daydreaming when he heard the shrill pleas of his hysterical partner.
“EEEEHEHEHEHE! NO MOHOHORE!”
“Oops-” Scara slowed his fingers until reaching a full stop, pulling his hands away to allow his lover to recover.
Sethos took greedy breaths, his chest heaving as he looked like he had ascended on cloud 9. He opened his crinkled eyes, only to see Scaramouche staring down at him with a toothy grin. What was more flustering? All that tickling or that look that seemed to make his stomach turn? Perhaps both.
“You okay?” Wanderer’s voice came out oddly soft as he gently ran his fingers through Sethos’s long locks.
“Yeah… though, I think I’m ready for bed again” the latter spoke with a tired chuckle.
Without warning, Scaramouche crashed right on top of him. Earning a squeak as he nestled his face against his lover’s back.
“Good idea, wake me up later” he placed a kiss on his back before dozing off within moments. Sethos couldn’t help but chuckle in amusement.
“Alright, goodnight honey” he rested his head against the pillow once more, feeling his eyes growing heavy and his heart forever warm in the Wanderer’s presence. As he felt himself drift off, he heard a soft “goodnight, little bee”, causing a smile to blossom on his tired face.

A well deserved break
i lived😨 AHHHH missed writing so much ANYWAYSANYWAYS enjoy my rats 🫶🫶
paring: lee!reader x ler!venti
“Windblume..?”
You opened your eyes halfway, turning your head to look up. To see your favourite wind-wielding archon looking down at you, you couldn’t have had a better start to your morning. But, you had to admit.. it did seem a bit early. Looking out the windows of your teapot, you could see it was barely sunrise.
At this moment, you knew you wouldn’t be able to muster enough energy to talk at all. So instead of using your words, you decided to climb onto him and huddle yourself into his chest. Hearing him let out his signature giggle, you knew he approved.
“Love, it's only 6.. go back to sleep.” he murmured, stroking your hair. melting into the touch, you gave him a sleepy kiss on the cheek. “What.. what day is- is it?..” you said with a yawn, tucking your head under his chin. “its Wednesday.. why?”
“Wednesday…” you repeated, thinking to yourself for a second. Wednesday.. Wednesday…..
..oh.
God fucking damm-
You fully opened your eyes, letting out a long wine. “Windblume?.. What's wrong?” Your beloved asked, looking down at you for a moment.
As much as you wanted to lay in your lover's arms for the rest of time, you started to make your way to the door. Or.. tried to.
As soon as he heard you about to shift, he tightened his arms around you. “Huh?.. Where are you going love?” he asked, turning your face to meet his eyes.
“Just commissions.. and.. Lisa wanted me to help organise the library. Oh, and i agreed to help Jean with some knight work.. and-”
Suddenly, a finger pressed up to your lips. “Shh.. that's enough.” Venti hushed, “All of that stuff can wait until at least 10 in the morning, right?”
You sighed, “It can’t.. I still have to help Albedo with his experiment afterwards too, so I might take a bit.” You moved to get out from his hold, giving him a knowing glance when he didn't let go
“I’ll be back around 10-ish, okay?” You leaned in to kiss him again, this time on the lips. He melted under your touch, moving his cape to rest along your shoulders. “Now you have to stay in for a bit. C’mon.. just a few hours?...please?”
of course, you were honoured to be wanted by the anemo archon. In your defence, you really did need the primogems..
You sigh, turning your body towards him and hugging the god tightly. “I’m sorry Ven.. I really do need to go though. I’ll finish up as soon as I can, okay? I promise.”
Honestly, looking back at it,
you don't know why you thought that would work at all.
Him and you both knew that he was stubborn, and even more adorably grumpy when he's just waking up. Venti simply gave a grunt of disapproval, slipping his arms under yours and returning the embrace.
The bard tapped your back softly, alerting you to look up at him. You did as requested, only to be met with dove eyes looking back at you. “..Please? Come on.. please? pllleeeaasee? pleasepleaseplea-”
“Venti.”
You chuckled, pulling away to cup his head in your hands. “You know I love you, but you really can't reason with this. It's final, even your puppy eyes can't change fate.” you hummed, peppering kisses all around his face.
He quickly scrunched his nose up, smiling widely. “ehe- stohoap..” he giggled at the stupidness of his partner, his eyes squinting at you. You pulled back, returning the stupid smile. “Okay, now I really have to go. Want your cape back or am I leaving with it? Then, all of Mondstadt can know I'm yours~”
The archon blushed at the thought, looking back at you after averting his eyes on reflex. “You.. don’t know how much i’d love that..” he mumbled out, “But maybe.. you could just.. stay? only for a few hours..?”
You rolled your eyes playfully, “How many times have I said this? You can’t convince me Ven. People need help, and I’m here to serve their needs. I'm not called “honorary knight” for nothing you know..”
A small noise of dissatisfaction left Venti’s mouth, as he began to talk out his offer. “Just.. 10 minutes. Please? I won't whine anymore I promise!”
You thought about it for a moment, before giggling to yourself. “I suppose.. But, if I’m late I’m blaming it aaallll on my favourite bard you know~.”
Your partner shushed you, adjusting the both of you to lay back down as he wrapped you in his arms. “Is your plan to make me fall back asleep again? Because.. it's working..” you laid back, melting back into the pillow under your head.
Your partner moved closer, resting his head near your collarbone and leaned up to place small kisses around the area. Your shoulders slightly scrunched up, tightening your arms around the archon.
“hm.? ..oh. sorry, i forgot how ticklish you are~..”
The word sent a shiver down your spine, causing you to arch your back ever so slightly. Venti cooed quietly, “Don’t worry, don’t worry.. I’m not planning on completely attacking you. Just relax, okay?"
You couldn’t help but smile at him, well, literally, as he continued to dot his lips all around your neck and shoulders. “mmhp- Vehehenti..”
“Yess, my lovee~?” He giggled softly, pulling back and huddling you against his chest. Once he knew you were comfortable, his hands slowly moved to rub up and down your sides. “Yohohou..” Is all you could say in response, your brain short-circuiting from his movements.
“Awh.. are the tickles making your pretty little head all foggy, huh? You really need to relax more, you know..” He suggested, unknowingly teasing you. At his words, you let out a soft whine and tightened your grip around him; he's right, he was making your head all fuzzy..
His hands finally slipped under your shirt, causing you to gasp gently. You couldn’t help but try to twist away as you felt his hands curl into your sides, fighting the urge to slap a hand over your lover's mouth after he giggled at your antics.
“My dearest.. You really are rather cute, you do realise that.. right?” He said in a certain tone of voice that made you wanna hide under the covers and never come out, archons, he always knew didn't he?
“mmmph nohoho..” You whispered , unable to stop the sounds coming out of your throat. One of your hands held onto the back of his nightshirt, making sure your face was hidden into his chest and tucked away from his view.
“No? Are you sure?” He asked, taking on a fake confused tone. His nails began to trace circles around your sides, teasing the bottom of your tummy ever so slightly. You felt your body jump, unable to stop the giggles that poured out of your mouth.
“Fuhuck! Vehenti!-” You couldn’t help but yelp at his fingers, your body involuntarily squirming away. To no avail, he simply held you tighter to keep you in place to be able to continue. “That's me, your favourite bard~ How can I help you, sweetheart?”
You groaned in between your giggles, “Yohour so mean..” Is all you said, running out of things to say. “Oh, I’m the meanest am I? I'm just sooo evil, almost as evil as trying to leave me for 4 hours? Do you even realise how long that is? Hm?”
“Ihi dihidn’t mean to! I’m just buhusy todahAH-” You let out a loud sound of suprise, his nails trailing onto your stomach. One of his hands traced squiggly lines around the space and the other circled around your navel area.
“nonohEhaha!- fuhuck! Ihi’m sohorryy!-” You said, your body in a slight shock from the sensations. “plehehease! Ihi’m too tihired for this!”
“Your tired? Great! That means you’ll stay in today right?” He asked, not expecting an answer. After all, you knew that wasn’t a question, but instead a statement. “Buhut.. I have stuhuff to do..”
“I’ll take care of it, If they have a problem with you taking a rest for once then they can take it up with me.” He said, his index finger gently tracing just around your navel causing you to let out a soft squeal.
“VeheEhen! Ihi dohon’t knohow! Lehehet me thIHink!-” Your own laughter cut you off, trying to twist out of his hold. “Come on.. Just say yeess~” He giggled, using his other hand to move up to your ribs and digged in.
“FUHuck!- Ohokay! Whahatever! plehehease!” You resorted, moving both of your hands that you’ve been restraining the whole time to grab ahold of his. Finally, his hands slipped out from under your shirt and moved to hold you close.
“You work too hard, my love.. I know you don't think you want it, but your body needs this break. So.. Just this once?” He looked down at you with puppy eyes, his head tilting into the pillow.
“..I can’t say no, can I?”
“Precisely."
You sighed happily, rolling your eyes. “Fine, just this once.”
As you repeated his words, you could already tell this wouldn’t be the first time.. But, it wasn’t so bad right?

HI ANON! :3 thank you so much for the request! i hope u like <33
⊹ ⨯ ➜ lee: kaeya
⊹ ⨯ ➜ler: mika
(this is my first time actually writing something so bear with me)
warnings: tickles!! (sfw)
╭── ⋅ ⋅ ── ✩ ── ⋅ ⋅ ──╮
“captain kaeya?” he asked, knocking on the fancy wooden door. he fiddled with his yellow tie. a small shuffle was heard from kaeyas office. “captain? are you ready for our expedition?” he said louder, knocking on the door yet again.
“ah, my apologies, please come in.” mika slowly pushed open the door, seeing a puzzled kaeya in his chair with his hand over his chin.
“you look troubled. is something bothering you?” he asked, tampering with the cover on his book.
“i uh… it’s nothing, really. let’s head out.” he began to get up, tidying up his office before leaving.
“n-no, i insist. what’s wrong? maybe i can help.” kaeya paused, sighing. he turned to mika, who was now sitting on the couch in his office. “come sit, let’s chat.”
“i guess i should comply.” he chuckled, coming over to sit next to mika. the yellow haired boy fiddled with his fingers, although he wasn’t good at comforting people, he wanted to help kaeya, kaeya has done a lot for him.
“s..so.. what’s up?” he looked down at his book that was now on his lap.
“to be honest, it’s not something i’d like to get into.” kaeya said gently, putting a hand on mikas shoulder.
“ah.. i’m sorry. i-i shouldn’t have-“ “please. don’t worry about it, i’m going to be okay.” he reassured the young boy.
mika sighed, slumping back. until a brilliant idea popped in his mind. maybe he could do something else to make him cheer up.
“hey.. so.. there’s this thing my mom always did to me when i was a kid, it would help me a lot when i was sad.” he rambled, smiling at the thought of those cherished memories. kaeya cocked his head. “what might that be?”
mika laughed under his breath, opening his book and taking out his feather pen. “may i touch you with this?” he asked, not realizing how stupid it sounded until it came out. “i-i, um .. i’m sorry i’m not trying to be weird i just-“ kaeya cut him off, “i’m not sure what’s going on, but i trust you. go crazy.” he chuckled.
“o-okay.” kaeya stared at him, eager to find out what his plan was. mika took the soft feather, dragging it over his ear.
the sound that came out of kaeyas mouth was one he would never live down. kaeya wasn’t familiar with the concept of tickling, but something about it made him feel warm inside.
“ah..ahaha.. it.. feheels funny..” he scrunched his shoulders, embracing the joyful feeling. “it’s supposed to! laughing always makes you feel better.” mika said, more confidently. he took the feather and slid it over kaeyas side, he gasped, automatically flinching at the tickly touch. “come on.. don’t bottle it up, just laugh!” he smiled.
finally his laughter began to grow, he clutched his stomach, it felt like his worries were just evaporating. mika took his other hand and began to squeeze at the flesh of his other side. “GAH! AHA!” kaeya scrunched his face, laughing and squirming like there was no tomorrow. “my gohoodness!! ihihi thihink it’s working!” his laugh was deep and charming. mikas nimble fingers and the ever so light touch of the feather were driving him up the wall. his brain was overwhelmed with stimulation and joy.
“okahay!! okay plehease noho mohohore!” kaeya pleaded, mika immediately stopped, watching the captain catch his breath.
“so, did it work?” mika asked hopefully. kaeya nodded, still giggling. “yehes, it did. thank you mika.” he placed his hand on mikas head, ruffling his hair. he yelped, pushing away his hand and laughing.
“are you ready to head out now?” mika asked, he stood up, tucking his book away in his bag.
“you know it, could you go tell jean for me that we’re leaving? i’ve gotta pack a few extra things.” kaeya stood up as well, dusting himself off.
“no problem!” mika said proudly, marching out of the room. kaeya smiled to himself, mika probably had no idea, but that gesture of kindness made his entire day.

Lovelynim's tickletober Day 11: Noise
Sethoscara & Aether
A/N: late again but oh well~ this is my first time writing sethoscara (I think???) those cuties *sobs* I hope you enjoy this! 💖
"I s-swehehear! If y-you keep dohoing thihis I'll- AHAHAHA! Sehehethos, plehease!"
He had never hated anything as much as he hated the moment Sethos had found his weakest spot. And he hated even more that it had been during an intimate moment with the other; now he was in only his underwear and with Sethos between his legs, preventing him from closing them to protect the inner part of his thighs that the little bee squeezed and squeezed, making him laugh hysterically.
"Hehe, are you begging, Wanderer? I didn't think you'll be so ticklish here~!"
Wanderer threw his head back and arched his spine as his hands tried to blindly catch Sethos's hands; he even released small gusts of wind that only made Sethos laugh, causing his hair, that fell loose over his shoulders, to move back. If Wanderer hadn't been so busy laughing until his sides ached and his throat felt on fire, he would have become a little mesmerized, seeing how beautiful Sethos looked at that moment. Giggling and smiling like a child, his cheeks flushed and his hair an adorable mess.
Wanderer's laughter was more high-pitched, panicky as Sethos' fingers found that horrendous spot very close to his groin that almost had him screaming.
"S-S-S-BEEHEHE! S-Stop now-!"
"What are you guys doing?"
The laughter stopped immediately and two loud gasps echoed through the room. Sethos and Wanderer quickly turned their heads towards the door and their already pink faces turned crimson red as they saw Aether's head peeking out from outside.
"Tr-Traveler?!" Sethos was the first one to react, looking down at Wanderer, their position and then up at Aether again. "Wh-What are you doing here?"
Aether cleared his throat. "You guys are being a little too loud... Paimon won't be... uh... is- is Wanderer ticklish?"
Wanderer widened his eyes, quickly looking up at Sethos who was grinning mischievously at him. "Don't you fucking dare!"
A few minutes later Wanderer was screaming with laughter, writhing on the bed with Sethos' hands glued to the inside of his thighs and Aether's hands shoved under his arms, fingers wiggling against his bare armpits. He was sure he was going to die that night, he'd definitely-
"HEY! Paimon allowed you to stay the night, but now Paimon can't sleep because you're being TOO noisy and- KYAAAAAH! WHAT ARE YOU DOING?! PAIMON'S PRECIOUS EYES!!" Paimon covered her eyes and Wanderer went limp on the bed.
Oh, he had never been so happy to see that little flying thing as he was right then.

TickleTober2024/Day 08 - Exposed Body Part
Genshin Impact - Sethos x Wanderer
“H-hngh..! Pfft- c-cahan’t you- AHah, p-plehease..!” Sethos whined, his hands clenching at the border of Wanderer’s hat while its owner was sitting behind him. Fingers slid up and down Sethos back, following each curve of his tensed up muscles and making him squirm in his place as the ticklish sensation ran through all his nerves, straight to his brain.
Wanderer had a nearly sadistic smile on his lips, tracing a zigzag line over Sethos’s spine. “I suppose it makes sense for the desert folk to wear more… revealing outfits,” he commented, lazily scratching over Sethos’s shoulder blades, making the guy giggle helplessly.
“T-then yohohou could pahahay more attehenetion to my outfihihit!”
“But I am. This part, right here-”
“HYAHH!”
“-can, indeed, capture one’s eye,” he teased, grinning like a little devil at the other reactions.
To think Wanderer would get the chance to torment Sethos like this over the exchange of letting him ‘see his hat’s details closely’... What a deal, Wanderer thought. While Wanderer couldn’t really understand what was so interesting about his hat, there were certainly lots of interesting things about Sethos’s outfit.
Like his exposed back, for example.
“B-buhut it tihihickles! AHAHahah ~” Sethos laughed, curling up his body forward and tightly hugging the large hat, melting under the ticklish touches that went from the base of his spine all the way up to his shoulders, not even sparing the parts that weren’t exposed.
“I can tell it does,” Wanderer mocked, resting his head on his free hand while continuing to draw and trace shapes over Sethos’s back, alternating his tickles between lighter and rougher touches. “Such a sensitive bee you are.”
Sethos widened his eyes at the nickname, gritting his teeth and trying to stop that dumbfounded smile from spreading all over hsi face. “D-dohohon’t call me thahat now!”
“Hm? Why not now? You never complained about it,” Wanderer teased, sliding his hand inside Sethos’s shirt through the back window and reaching for his ribs, “oh, is it connected to the front side?”
“W-wahahait!” Sethos giggled while heat covered the whole length of his cheeks. He didn’t know which one was embarrassing him the most: the situation he was in or the idea of Wanderer simply tickling him silly.
Still, if it tickled that bad - which seemed to be the case - why Sethos wasn’t stopping him? Why didn’t he just get up and walk away?
Wanderer chuckled to himself, shaking his head. It was better to not jump into conclusions.
“Tsk, didn’t you ask me to check out your outfit? Get out of my way, bee,” Wanderer mumbled, his fingers digging into the spaces between Sethos’s ribs.
The attack over the new spot sent the guy into a renewed laughing fit, throwing himself back into Wanderer’s body as he laughed, trying to escape Wanderer’s hand. “P-plehehease, nOHOHOHOT THEHEHERE!!”
“H-hey!” Wanderer groaned, freezing on the spot as, in a matter of seconds, Sethos was now laying on top of his lap. “Y-you- agh, get off me!”
“W-wahahait.. l-lehet me just, hehe… r-rest a bit, Hat Guy… p-plehehease,” he asked, a tired smile on his lips with Wanderer’s hat still carefully held by his hands.
“...sigh,” Wanderer muttered something under his breath, barely making his complaint hearable. “Troublesome bee.”
A/N: Finally got to this prompt! Sethos's back window was the sole reason for me to choose this prompt, so - here it is!
Sadly, I still think I'm not that familiar with his character, so forgive me if he sounds too ooc here ~

Tickletober day #8: Nuzzles
Feels good to write for them again
@xsezzie This is for you 💖

_________________________________________
Alhaitham x Kaveh (romantic)
Lee: Kaveh
Ler: Alhaitham
Warnings: Tickles!
_________________________________________
The sound of keys jingling echoed across the house, signaling Alhaitham’s return from work.
Exhaustion was an understatement for what the scribe felt. He needed comfort, he needed touch, he needed… his partner.
Alhaitham made his way over to the living room, finding the architect lounging on the couch. The blonde perked up instantly when he heard familiar footsteps. “You’re back!- Haitham? You don’t look so good…” Kaveh’s initial excitement was quickly replaced by worry, seeing how worn out the scribe looked.
He opened his arms, gesturing to the silver haired man to join him on the couch, and that’s exactly what Alhaitham did.
Without a second thought, the sword user flopped down on top of his boyfriend, like an overgrown cat in need of affection. Kaveh’s arms automatically wrapped around him, while Alhaitham hugged his waist in return.
“Wanna talk about it?” the architect murmured softly, running his fingers through silver locks. A soothing gesture.
Alhaitham shook his head, whatever he said got muffled as he buried his face into Kaveh’s stomach.
“ACK?!” a startled squak surprised the both of them. Both men making eye contact. The blonde looked flustered beyond belief and the scribe, well… he was already plotting.
“Heh, I forget how ridiculously ticklish you are here” Alhaitham slowly rolled up Kaveh’s shirt, exposing the sensitive skin of his middle.
The architect’s eyes widened in horror, and maybe even excitement, but you don’t know that. “W-wait! Haitham, let’s talk about thihiHISSS!” pleading words morphed into hysterical cackles when Alhaitham struck again. The soft, messy locks brushing against his bare stomach made him want to crawl out of his skin. So naturally, he held onto the scribe’s shoulders for dear life. Practically keeping him there to continue his torment.
Between all the laughter, the occassional hum of Alhaitham could be heard. Mumbling stuff like “soft” and “cute”, as he nuzzled his boyfriend’s tummy as if it was the greatest pillow he owned. He even started adding some kisses into the mix that felt so sweet yet so unbearably ticklish for the blonde.
As if Kaveh’s laughter was a source of energy, Alhaitham could slowly feel all his tension and stress melting away with each giggle, snort and cackle he pulled out. It was like digging into a treasure chest, except it was full of Kaveh’s happy, unfiltered noises.
“GODDAMIT! STOP- STOHOHOP!”
“Don’t act like you hate it. You’re literally keeping me here” Alhaitham rolled his eyes fondly, before going in for a raspberry.
Kaveh’s head flung back as a girlish shriek forced it’s way out of his throat. It was probably loud enough to pierce through Alhaitham’s headphones, not that he minded.
Alhaitham lifted up his head, looking down at the mess he had created. Kaveh’s hair was all disheveled, face as ripe as a tomato, and a silly, giddy smile that he couldn’t get rid of no matter how hard he tried.
Suddenly, the scribe got up and hoisted the architect in his arms, bridal style.
A surprised yelp came out of the blonde “What the-?! Put me down!”
“I’m not done with you, I just wanna get comfier”
An audible gulp was heard as Kaveh was swept away into the shared bedroom.

Tighnari kept staring at his friend, not knowing what to say next. The situation wasn't that complicated, he just had to complete a dare...
[FLASHBACK TO 30 MINUTES PRIOR]
"Cyno, I'm absolutely exhausted... I yield, please show some mercy!" The fennec fox pleaded, his tail thumping nervously on the floor. It was the 10th match of Genius Invokation TCG he played with Cyno, and the 10th match he lost. He really needed a change.
It was in that moment that Cyno proposed a few rounds of truth or dare, just to get to know each other even better and have a good laugh together. Tighnari wasn't too fond of the idea, but he was desperate to stop playing TCG enough to accept without hesitation.
Things seemed to go pretty smoothly for a while... until the fox picked "truth" and a much-dreaded question came.
"Are you ticklish?"
The poor Amurta graduate tried to change topic by immediately switching to a dare, but Cyno was too cunning, too curious and most importantly too mischievous to let go such a fundamental topic that easily, which is why he chose a very specific dare for his friend: "I dare you to raise your arms for five minutes straight, so that I can get the answer to thw question I asked you by myself."
[END OF THE FLASHBACK]
And there Tighnari was, undecided about what to do. Stop playing? Cyno would ambush him. Answer the question? Cyno would use that info immediately, just to verify, obviously... Raise his arms? A literal death sentence, unless he managed to hold back his laughter.
He decided to risk it all and go with the third option, hoping that his friend would get bored by the lack of reaction, so he raised his arms all the way above his head, exposing his torso. There was no way that a forest ranger like him wouldn't be able to handle a little tickle, right?
Oh how wrong he was...
The moment Cyno's hands came in contact with his sides, he wanted to crawl out of his skin and screech. He'd never realized that those fingers were so nimble, strong and gracefully merciless.
"Hm- hmpfff-!" A few sounds came out and didn't go unnoticed by the General Mahamatra, who somehow seemed to know how to make this whole ordeal as unbearable as possible.
"Come on... laugh a little more, I don't understand if you're ticklish or not" Cyno purred, clearly in his element whenever it came to annoy Tighnari. "Am I hurting you? Do you need me to stop..?"
The black-haired guy felt the immediate need to reassure his friend, so he muttered a quick "N-no..."
If only he could've seen Cyno's ominous smirk when he gave that answer...
"Oh well, if you don't need me to stop, I don't see why I should~"
"Nononono Cyno be reasonable, d-don't do anything dumb you'll regr- AAAAAEEHHH-!" The unlucky fennec fox didn't even have the time to protest when ten mischievous fingers reached his lower back, right at the base of his tail.
"HAHAHAHAHA CYNO PLEASEEE MOVE ALREHEHEHEADYYY!" He scream-laughed on top of his lungs, trying to crawl away... only to have the General Mahamatra sit on the back of his knees to keep him pinned to the ground.
"I am already moving, Nari." The white-haired guy stated as if it was obvious, "Don't you feel my fingers move right here?" He poked the area he was targeting just to enjoy the squeals of his friend, "Should I move a little faster?" He didn't even wait for an answer, he started scribbling all over the sensitive area at full speed, hoping that no one would come after hearing the glass-piercing screech made by the forest ranger.
After a while, he decided to show some "mercy" and change spots, targeting Tighnari's palms, where he had smooth, soft pads like foxes have. Is it really mercy if the second spot is worse than the first one, though? It was no secret that Tighnari never let anyone touch his pads, due to their sensitivity, and he was right to do so, because the lightest, softest caress had him in tears, to the point that Cyno decided to have actual mercy and stop the assault.
The Spantamad graduate gave his friend a minute to recover, then he scooped him up in his arms and gave him some needed ear and scalp scritches, which never failed to make the dark-haired guy melt.
"I guess my question has found a certain answer," Cyno stated after a few minutes, "you are deadly ticklish... too much for your own good." He concluded, chuckling at the irritated thump that Tighnari's tail made.
Another five minutes passed, and both friends were absolutely relaxed when the fennec fox's eyes fluttered open, gazing at his friend's peaceful features.
"Hey Cyno, can I ask you something?" Tighnari asked while wrapping his arms around the General Mahamatra. "Sure, go ahead." The white-haired guy replied without even bothering to open his eyes, feeling completely safe where he was.
"Are you ticklish?"

Smile for me
(Ler!Gaming/Lee!Kinich)

Summary: Gaming tags along with Aether on his trip back to Natlan to meet one of his newest friends, Kinich. Though Gaming thinks the raven despises him and asks Aether advice on how to make him smile.
Gaming hums behind Aether and Paimon as they stroll around the grassy terrain of Natlan. Aether was visiting a friend of his and happened to run into Gaming who had nothing better to do but tag along.
“Tell me about your new friend, Aether!” The brunette exclaims.
“He’s scary.” Paimon answers and Aether laughs shaking his head.
“He’s not scary, Paimon.” The blonde shrugs off the girl. “He’s just quiet.”
“That’s okay. Chongyun and Xiao are pretty quiet too, if he’s like them I can handle it.” Gaming says thinking of his friends back in Liyue.
“And he has that awful disease of a companion with him too!” Paimon frowns. “What’s his name? Axel or something?”
“His name is Ajaw.” Aether corrects. “He may be a pain but he’s a part of Kinich so we gotta be nice to him too.”
“He better not cause any problems.” Paimon huffed.
“Wow this new friend sounds like fun! I can’t wait to meet him.” Gaming’s eyes lit up at the thought of meeting someone new.
The bi color haired boy is known for his extroverted tendencies befriending anyone he crosses paths with.
“There he is!” Aether spots Kinich standing near his tribe camp.
Ajaw is flying next to the raven scolding him about something.
Gaming is star struck by the raven’s emerald lizard like eyes and tan skin that glistens in the sunlight. He had to be his friend!
“Hey Kinich! I hope it’s okay that we brought a friend along with us.” Aether bows his head to the raven.
“It’s fine.” Is all Kinich says giving Gaming a look before turning his attention back to the fire.
“My name is Gaming and I’m from Liyue. It’s so nice to meet you!” Gaming holds out his hand towards the raven who just looks at it.
“Yeah nice to meet you.” The raven doesn’t return the handshake continuing to roast the fish over the fire.
“Remember I don’t like mine too crispy!” Ajaw orders to the raven.
“You will get yours how I cook it.” Kinich shoos him away.
“Whats that thing? He’s kinda cute.” Gaming widens his eyes at Ajaw.
“My nightmare, my headaches and my back pain.” Kinich answers glaring at the pixel creature.
“Hey! I’m not cute! Get that through your thick skull!” Ajaw snaps at the bi color haired boy.
“But you’re so small.” Gaming continues to tease the creature.
Aether and Paimon get started on the picnic laying out the quilt along as passing around plates and utensils.
During dinner Gaming tries to make conversation with Kinich but the raven would only give him one word answers. Though whenever Aether would tell a story at the picnic, he had Kinich’s undivided attention. Did the raven not like him somehow? It couldn’t be! Gaming was the most likable person on this earth. From what he recalled, he’s never had any enemies.
Gaming also decides to compliment the raven’s looks such as his headband and his boots. The raven only says a brief thanks not even bothering to look him in the face. Hmm, he’s never had anyone treat him like this before.
“Hey, does your friend not like me?” Gaming couldn’t help but ask Aether on their way back to their hotel room after parting ways with Kinich and Ajaw.
“What do you mean?” Aether raises an eyebrow tilting his head to the side.
“Well, he barely talked to me as if I didn’t exist plus he never makes eye contact with me. Did I do something wrong?” A pout forms on Gaming’s face.
A laugh escapes from Aether’s lips. “Kinich is just very introverted, don’t take it personally. If you think he has a problem with you, you can talk to him in the morning before we leave.”
“Oh I see.” Gaming hums tapping his chin. “I just never seen him smile so I don’t know if he’s happy most of the time.”
“He definitely smiles. It may not be big but it’s there.” Aether remarked. “If you want to see him smile, he’s quite ticklish.”
“Really?” A smug smile forms on Gaming’s face.
“Yep! Aether pinned him down one time in a tickle fight, it was fun to watch!” Paimon expresses.
“Oh shoot!” Gaming checks his pockets realizing he left his watch at Kinich’s camp. “I think I left my watch. I’ll have to go back and get it.”
“Do you want us to accompany you?” Aether questions and Gaming shakes his head.
“I remember where the camp is! Plus I’ll take your advice on making Kinich smile.” Gaming sends him a wave before storming out of the hotel room.
Gaming spots the familiar camp with Kinich’s tribe members a few feet away. The bi color haired boy asks the members if they seen a particular wrist watch and they shake their heads.
“What’re you doing back here?” He hears Kinich’s voice behind him and Gaming literally jumps three feet in the air.
“Oh uh I lost my watch and I was asking around if anyone’s seen it.” He anxiously rubs the back of his neck.
“You left it in the picnic basket.” Kinich hands the bi color haired boy’s watch which is unusually warm.
“Thanks so much!”
“Yeah, you should leave now.” Kinich gestures towards the pathway leading to the city.
“Is there a problem between us?” Gaming blurts out.
“Excuse me?” Kinich raises an eyebrow.
“Well you’re always so short with me as if you don’t want to be friends. Do you hate me or something?”
The raven pinches the bridge of his nose. “I don’t hate you. I barely even know you. So for you to make assumptions like that is unfair, don’t you think?”
“Hmm you’re right. You’re just so quiet around me but with Aether you talk to him a lot.”
“Because I know him.” Kinich states.
“And you never smile either.” Gaming squints his eyes at him.
“Sometimes there’s no need to smile.” The Raven nonchalantly shrugs his shoulders.
“ Aether told me something interesting about you. I hope it’s okay that I try it out to make sure he wasn’t lying.” Without another word, Gaming tackles Kinich to the ground catching the raven off guard.
“Hey! What’re you doing?” Kinich raises his voice at the bi color haired boy who has the raven’s arms pinned above his head.
“Making you smile.” Gaming smirks digging his fingers into the other’s armpits.
A soft chuckle is heard from the raven who bites his lips. Jackpot.
“So you are indeed ticklish.” The bi color haired boy ponders poking and prodding at the raven’s upper ribs.
“You proved your point, can you stop now?” Kinich tries to push him away with a tiny smile on his face.
“Get his sides.” Ajaw whispers into Gaming’s ears.
Kinich almost gasps at the betrayal and Gaming is on top of the raven straddling him as he squeezes at his sides.
The raven bursts out into bubbly laughter attempting to push Gaming’s hands away. The bi color haired boy’s heart stirs a beat getting a good look at Kinich’s smile. The smile could literally kill someone by how wholesome and sweet it is.
“What about here?” Gaming teases the other slightly lifting up his shirt to scratch at his tummy.
“Hah, no.” A small squeak erupts from the raven as he flinches from the other’s touch.
“Sounds pretty ticklish to me.” The bi color haired boy snickers continuing to assault his abdomen even wiggling a finger inside his navel earning a squeal from the raven.
Kinich is writhing underneath Gaming, his hair splayed out in all directions, and his eyes closed shut. This is getting dangerous.
Gaming also playfully experiments with the other’s hips as he squeezes the fleshy skin. Kinich literally spasms trying to curl himself into a ball. When that didn’t work, Kinich attempts to tickle Gaming himself poking at his sides.
Though the bi color haired boy’s will to make him smile was stronger as he blows a raspberry against his side. Kinich cutely giggles and squirms at the sensation clutching his abdomen.
“Wow you really can smile.” Gaming decides that the raven has had enough releasing him from his grasp.
“You say that as if I’m not a human.” The raven frowns at the other who puts his hands up in surrender.
“Never said you weren’t. Though you should smile more often, it looks good on you.” Gaming winks an eye at the raven.
“I’ll think about it.” A red hue forms on Kinich’s cheeks.
“See you tomorrow!” Gaming cheerfully waves at the raven before jogging towards the city.
Okay next step. Ask Kinich out on a date.

“can you really not keep any secrets from lesser lord kusanali?”
wanderer isn’t even surprised by the voice below him, not anymore. he opens one eye and glances to the ground, knowing exactly the sight he’ll see. and he’s right: a certain annoying desert-dweller, holding one hand up in a wave.
he closes it again. “she could find out whatever she wants, but she has the decency to give me some privacy.” unlike some people, he internally adds on.
sethos laughs. “so, i could just go to her with all the questions you refuse to answer? will she tell me about your family?”
wanderer stiffens. “i don’t have a family.”
he can sense the moment sethos realises he brought up something he shouldn’t have. awkwardly, sethos speaks again. “h-hey, just kidding! i won’t do that!”
“why are you here?” asks wanderer, lifting his head and looking down at him. a chilly breeze blows through the branches of the tree he’s perched in. sumeru is a warm nation, so even the cold wind only makes the average person shiver a bit and nothing more. it doesn’t affect wanderer, though, his resistance to temperatures higher than his peers. “or have you just come to pester me again?”
sethos grins once wanderer’s gaze is entirely fixed upon him. “actually, i had a question! i’ve known you for a while now, but i still dunno your birthday.”
wanderer scoffs. “pointless. does it matter?”
“yes! it does!” sethos huffs, hands on his hips. “c’mon, when is it?”
wanderer is silent.
sethos doesn’t move.
wanderer sighs loudly. “you’re so damn stubborn.”
sethos laughs at this. “so i’ve been told.”
he has a difficult choice to make here. if he just keeps quiet, then eventually sethos will leave, though wanderer can’t be sure how long that will take. and even if he does leave, he can always just go to buer to ask her, and she’ll undoubtedly tell him because she’s always talking about how he needs to play nice and make friends.
damn it.
“...today.”
sethos sputters. “w-wait, really?! hey, come down here! actually, i haven’t prepared anything…er, i’ll treat you to lunch!” he bounces on the balls of his feet, giving wanderer a pleading look.
wanderer rolls his eyes. sethos is like a little puppy. wanderer is not going to give in to that.
…he gives in to it.
only because buer would scold him otherwise, alright? that would be even more annoying than sethos’s pestering.
“so, how old are you?” asks sethos, swinging his legs. they sit on a bench not far outside the city’s port, watching the scenery while they eat. sethos had bought him some inazuman food, and it leaves a sort of bitter taste in his mouth.
he likes bitter things, at least.
wanderer stares at the fish in the water, two of them circling each other and jumping, like they’re playing. “i don’t know.”
“huh?” sethos turns to him, head tilted, a bewildered expression on him. “what do you mean? how do you not know? doesn’t lesser lord kusanali know, like, everything? she can tell you.”
wanderer kicks a pebble with the toe of his sandal. “i don’t care how old i am. i never bothered counting. most people’d probably lose count by now, anyway.”
if the fall of khaenri’ah was a little over five centuries ago, it would make him around the same age. he’s not sure how long after it that he was created, though, or exactly how many years it’s been. he’s five hundred something, at least. too old to celebrate pointless things like birthdays.
“aw, man!” sethos wails, tossing his head back in despair. “how am i supposed to know how many candles to put on your cake?”
“i don’t like cake,” wanderer reminds him, “and you wouldn’t get halfway before you’d burn down the entire nation.”
sethos sighs, resting his arm on the back of the bench as he looks to wanderer. “ugh, you really don’t ever smile, do you? not even on your birthday.”
“i’d smile more if you were funnier,” wanderer retorts, lowering his head to hide a smirk under his hat.
“h-hey!” sethos protests, leaning towards him. “i’m funnier than cyno, at least, you’ve gotta give me that!”
“the mahamatra? at least someone laughs at his jokes…even if it’s just him.”
“i bet i can make you laugh,” says sethos, and wanderer should have known from the glint in his eyes that this conversation is going somewhere very dangerous.
yet, he continues. he taunts. he can’t help it, teasing sethos is actually kinda fun. but—
“w-what the fuck?!” wanderer yelps, jolting away so forcefully he almost falls right off the bench. sethos stares wide-eyed for a moment before he bursts into laughter, doubling over and holding his stomach.
“i hoped you’d be ticklish, but i didn’t think you’d have that strong of a reaction!”
…tickling. wanderer knows what it is, of course, but in his long life he’s never once experienced it for himself. a part of him is curious, wanting to learn more, but he shuts that little voice down immediately.
unfortunately, sethos doesn’t seem to care about any of that. all he seems to concern himself with is that wanderer is ticklish, and tickling is a surefire way to make him laugh.
and…laugh he does, as much as he tries to hold back. sethos’s hands latch onto wanderer’s knees, squeezing playfully and it really, really tickles.
“s-stohohohop!” wanderer tries to growl, but between his squeaky laughter and steadily reddening cheeks, he doesn’t think it comes across quite how he wants it to. “i’ll—yohou! stop thihihis!”
he looks up to sethos, wanting to glare, but he’s met with a bit of an unexpected sight.
sethos looks absolutely entranced, eyes sparkling with glee. the wide grin upon his lips might just rival wanderer’s own.
“is this why you never laugh?” sethos asks, almost teasingly. “no one will ever be intimidated by you if they knew how cute your laugh is…”
the sentence, or maybe the tone he says it in, or probably both, sends a swarm of butterflies to wanderer’s stomach, though it’s very quickly drowned out by a bunch of pokes and squeezes to the area.
“shuhut uhuhup! i swehear, i’ll…!”
it’s so unnatural for him to laugh so freely, and he wants to hate it. in a way, he kind of does. this entire thing is driving him insane and he doesn’t know how much more of this he can take.
but when he manages to grab onto sethos’s wrists, he can’t bring himself to push them off.

Taking a Break {Kazuha and Scaramouche}
Squealing Santa 2k24!
A/N: Hey hey, happy holidays, @ticklish-n-stuff I was your squealing santa this year!!! :D I really hope you enjoy your gift, it was a joy to write hehe! I also hope that you have a wonderful holiday season and get cozy!! Huge thank you to @cantsaythetword for organizing the event this year, you did a wonderful job! :)))
Summary: It's a surprise!
Word Count: 1.2k (under the cut!)
“Scar, how much longer are you going to work on that?” Kazuha laid down on his back, staring at Scaramouche from his bed.
“Until I finish working through these equations,” Scaramouche replied after a moment, scribbling something down without even turning to face Kazuha.
Kazuha rolled over onto his belly and blew some hair out of his face. “And how many more equations are there?”
Scaramouche wrote something else down and then tapped his pencil against the paper as he counted the remaining equations. “Thirteen.”
“Ugh! That’ll take so long!” Kazuha whined, folding his arms as he buried his face in them.
Scaramouche chuckled dryly. “Well, I have an exam on this tomorrow, and I’m still struggling with derivatives. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I have to…”
Scaramouche trailed off, taken over by his homework before he could finish his sentence. Kazuha sighed and pulled out his phone, checking the time. It had been almost an hour since Kazuha had come into Scaramouche’s dorm room, and he was getting hungry.
Scaramouche’s roommate, Childe, was off at a sports meet, meaning they had the room to themselves, but all Scaramouche seemed to have been doing was studying. Kazuha was half tempted to just run to a nearby take-out restaurant to get food, but he did not know what to get.
“Hey, Scar, where should I get food from?”
“I don’t have a preference.”
“What about the Inazuman restaurant down the street?”
“I’m fine with anything.”
“Okay, we’ll get that then. What would you like to eat?”
“Whatever sounds good.”
Kazuha nodded, scrolling through the menu on his phone. He and Scaramouche would visit the Inazuman restaurant often since the food was cheap and reminded them both of home. They both had their regular orders, and no matter how many times they said they wanted to try more food from the menu, they always got the same thing.
Kazuha was about to place the order when Scaramouche groaned and laid his head down on the desk. “This is impossible.”
Kazuha shifted. “I’m not distracting you, am I?”
Scaramouche grumbled then shook his head. “No, I’m just– I’m at my limit. Heh, limits! Ugh…”
Kazuha rolled off the bed and walked over to Scaramouche, rubbing his shoulders gently. “You need to take a break and look at this again later. I’ll get some food and then you can work on this after you get something in your belly.”
“No, I just need to power through.”
Kazuha chuckled softly. “C’mon, take a quick break and walk to the restaurant with me. We’ll get take-out and eat back here.”
Scaramouche dragged his hands down his face and groaned loudly. “I just need to finish this, then we can eat. I’m not even that hungry, anyway.”
Kazuha folded his arms across his chest. He decided that the gentle approach was not working and that he needed to change tactics. With a sigh, Kazuha pulled Scaramouche’s chair away from the desk, making him grumble.
“Kaz, you need to let me do my work– Gah!! Hey, put me down!”
Kazuha threw Scaramouche over his shoulder and laughed when Scaramouche began to bang his fists into his back. He carried Scaramouche over to the bed and threw him onto the covers, which flew up a bit from the force. Kazuha jumped on top of Scaramouche and they wrestled for a little bit on top of the bed, but Scaramouche struggled to get anywhere with Kazuha on top of him.
Kazuha eventually managed to pin one of Scaramouche’s arms by his side with his leg. Kazuha held Scaramouche’s other arm above his head and the two of them panted slightly from the exertion. Scaramouche huffed in annoyance and squirmed under Kazuha’s weight, having forgotten again just how strong Kazuha was from his sports.
“Okay, Kaz, I get it! I’ll take– I’ll take a break. But can I just finish that one equation first?”
Kazuha shook his head. “One equation will lead to you finishing them without a break. If I have to keep you pinned here to let your brain rest, then that’s how it’s gonna be!”
Scaramouche rolled his eyes. “It’s hardly a break if I’m just thinking about how much work I have to do.”
Kazuha hummed in contemplation. “Want me to take your mind off of it, then?”
Scaramouche scoffed. “What are you gonna do? Talk my ear off?”
“I suppose I could. Or…” Kazuha grinned, raising one hand and wiggling his fingers.
Scaramouche’s eyes widened and he shook his head, giggling nervously. “Kaz– Kaz, no. Don’t you dare!”
Kazuha only grinned and slowly lowered his hand. Scaramouche squirmed and wriggled, trying to escape, but it was no use as Kazuha finally made contact with his tummy. Kazuha’s wiggling fingers danced across Scaramouche’s tummy, making him squeak and burst into an almost immediate fit of giggles.
“Kahahahaz!! Wahahait– Wait! I neeheeheed to finish my wohohohork!!”
“Nuh-uh, we’re not talking about your work right now! The whole reason I’m tickling you is to take your mind off of it, remember?” Kazuha chuckled, poking Scaramouche’s lower tummy as he squeaked. “Just forget about your homework and focus on something else. Oh, what did you want to get for food?”
“I cahahahan’t– I can’t think ahahahabout food right nohohow!! Stahahahap!!”
“Ohh, I see. We’ll figure out food after I’m done tickling you then. Is there anywhere you want me to tickle you?” Kazuha asked, trying to keep his tone neutral despite the wide grin of amusement on his face.
“NOHohohoHO!!” Scaramouche whined, squirming wildly. He finally got one of his hands free and tried to pry Kazuha’s tickly hand away, but he would not let up. “Kahahahaz– Kazuha, stahahap!”
“I feel like I’m giving your belly too much attention… What about here?” Kazuha began to pinch at Scaramouche’s ribcage, making him throw his head back and cackle. Kazuha chuckled at Scaramouche’s reaction. “Seems like a good spot!”
Scaramouche pushed at Kazuha with his free hand and bucked his hips. He finally managed to twist halfway around, making Kazuha grumble.
“You’re too squirmy! C’mere, you!”
“Leheheheave me alohohone!!” Scaramouche wailed, shrieking when Kazuha began to flip him all the way over onto his belly before straddling his back, pinning him back down onto the bed. “Kahahahaz!!”
“Aww, I can’t get your belly now. Well, that’s okay, I wanted to try another spot anyway,” Kazuha mused casually, making Scaramouche whine.
Scaramouche wiggled from side to side, trying to squirm Kazuha off of him, but he was planted firmly on top of him. He gasped when Kazuha dug his hands under his arms, then burst into a fit of renewed cackles when he began to tickle him.
“Sheesh, Scar, you’re gonna get a noise complaint if you keep that up!”
“Thahahat’s not my fahahahault! You’re tickling mehehehe!!”
Kazuha could not argue with that. Instead, he chuckled softly along with Scaramouche, tickling him a bit more. Scaramouche had his arms clamped to his sides, which did not help much with the ticklish sensations. Kazuha finally decided to let up when Scaramouche’s wiggles got less frequent.
“All good, Scar?”
“Hah– You’re evil, Kaz…” Scaramouche panted heavily.
Kazuha shrugged and got off of him, hopping down onto the floor. Kazuha patted his back until he seemingly recovered and sat up with a sigh.
“Do you still want to get food?”
Kazuha nodded with a small smile. Scaramouche had either decided to take a break or had forgotten about his homework altogether. Either way, Kazuha had succeeded. Kazuha got his coat and grabbed one for Scaramouche, and the two of them went off to the Inazuman restaurant to grab some food. Scaramouche would get back to his homework at some point, but for now, he would take a much needed break with Kazuha.

✨Thoma’s Troubles✨

Idk why Itto is so low-res bro
⚠️This fic focuses mainly on tickling. Please do not read it if that upsets you.⚠️
Thoma is sad until Itto makes his day better :)
a/n: the word “muzzle” is mentioned, but it refers to the body part of a dog. I’m pretty sure the nose / face area is called that? Nobody is wearing a muzzle, English isn’t my first language. Also, some swears appear.
Word count: 2908
It was a rather gloomy day in Inazuma. The sky was cloudy, the weather was cold, and the air smelt of rain. Most people preferred to stay indoors today, so the streets were emptier than usual. Unfortunately, mother nature wasn’t alone in her sadness; it affected some of the people as well. Especially Thoma…
He let out a sigh after the last customer of the day left Komore Teahouse, relieved to no longer need the customer service mood. He was meant to assist the loyal pooch Taroumaru today, as Ayato had noticed he needed a break from his usual duties.
“Won’t this rain ever end…?” He mumbled, petting Taroumaru’s head to distract himself. He felt grateful for the break, though he still had a lot on his mind.
“Woof!” replied the shiba, his tail wagging as he received pats. The two of them wouldn’t receive customers for a while, so they could just chill.
“Haha, you sure are cheerful today, buddy…” Thoma said with a small smile as the doggo gave his hand a reassuring lick.
“Hm? Ah, it’s nothing, don’t worry about me.” Thoma said, trying to smile in spite of his mood, but he still felt that nagging pain of Sadge™️ in his heart.
“Woof woof!” This clever dog saw right through him, and he was having none of his lies.
“Hey, I’m not-…!” But before the shiba could scold him further for lying, footsteps quickly approached the teahouse’s entrance.
“Hoo! Phew, finally some shelter! C’mon, buddy! Hurry!” The door opened, revealing a slightly drenched Itto with his little bull companion Ushi, both wet from the heavy rain.
“I-Itto?! Oh my! You’re- You’ll catch a cold…!” Thoma exclaimed, surprised to see them entering like that.
“Heh! Oh don’t worry, this is nothin’. Mind if we crash here?” Itto said with confidence, shutting the door once Ushi was in. “I’ve been through worse!” he added with a chuckle.
“L-Let me get you some towels. I’ll be with you in a moment!” Thoma sprung into action right away, leaving the room for a moment while Taromarou went to greet his guests.
“Hahaha! Thanks, man! You’re a real one.” Itto replied, chuckling as Ushi tried to shake himself off. “Hey, hey, be still. Gimmie a sec.” he said, kneeling down to remove the bull’s armor.
“Mooo…” Ushi moo’d with satisfaction, stretching a little before walking towards Taromarou, who had hopped off the counter to play with him.
“Woof woof!” he barked, happily wagging his tail as Ushi replied with another moo.
“Hah! You two sure get along well, huh?” Itto said, chuckling at their cute communication. “Aww, hello, boy! Workin’ hard today, huh? Such a good boy!” He knelt down once more to pet Taromarou, before being “attacked” with puppy kisses.
“Woof woof!” The shiba was happy to see him, licking the oni’s face affectionately, which made him stumble a little.
“Hahaha! Easy there, pal! It tickles.” He said, laughing as he played with Taromarou. “Mooo…” Ushi watched and yawned a bit before he looked around, wondering when the retainer would come back. He preferred to be without chaos for now, wanting to sit beside his master after he’d calmed down.
Meanwhile, Thoma had found the towels, but struggled to leave the room to join the others. He knew they needed to dry themselves, but unfortunately he felt like he couldn’t go back just yet. He knew he should, but the moment he felt tears in his eyes from all the built up sadness, he just wanted to hide. Hearing the fun Itto was having, he didn’t want to spoil it. He knew deep down the oni would understand, being as kind as he was, but he chose to stay to finish crying first.
The playful chaos in the other room lasted for quite a while before the trio realized Thoma hadn’t come back yet. Taromarou had calmed down by then, laying in Itto’s lap with a content expressionon on his widdle face while Ushi huffed to get their attention.
“Hm… hey, shouldn’t Thoma be back now?” Itto asked, petting both animals on their heads.
“Moo.” Ushi agreed, looking to the direction the human had gone.
“Uh-huh… Hey, Taromarou? Wanna earn yourself a treat?” Itto asked with a smile. The shiba perked up and wagged his tail. “Go find Thoma for us, alright?”
“Woof woof!” Taromarou barked with some excitement before he hopped up and sniffed to pick up his master’s scent. He didn’t really need to do this, since he knew where the towels were, but he did it anyway just to be sure.
“Damn it…!” Thoma muttered to himself, wiping his tears away to stop crying. Hearing the door be pushed open by Taromarou startled him, and he almost dropped the towels onto the floor. The loyal dog whined as he walked up to his human, sensing something was wrong.
“Ah-.. what’re you doing here, boy?” Thoma tried to act normal, but couldn’t hide his slightly dampened face from man’s best friend. Taro let out a small growl before barking, basically telling Itto to get over there. “Ah- shh, sshh, don’t-!”
“Woof! Woof woof!” Taromarou huffed and looked at him with big puppy eyes, his tail resting behind him as he felt worried. Thoma was about to say something, but Itto came in just then.
“Aha! You found him! Good boy!” Itto praised, chuckling before he noticed the lack of excitement in the shiba.
“Ah…! S-Sorry for the wait.” Thoma tried to act natural, smiling slightly as he handed a towel to Itto. “You must be cold by now. Please, take this.”
“Ah- thanks, heh!” Itto focused on drying his hair before anything else. He had to be careful not to rip the towel with his horns as he rubbed it against his head.
“Moooo…” Ushi closed his eyes and Thoma knelt down to dry him off. It felt good, he thought.
“There you go, lil- ah, I mean, big guy. Hehe.” Thoma chuckled at his error, but to his dismay started to feel sad again. Emotions are complicated, he thought. He couldn’t hide them from Itto, especially not when knowing he’s so kind and caring. The oni was talking about the weather, but Thoma wasn’t paying attention, trying to control his tears and distract his mind.
“…and it was cold, man! I usually try to brush it off… real men don’t carry umbrellas, I say. I’m starting to reconsider that, though… ugh…” Itto rambled, messing up his hair with the towel as he tried to dry it quickly.
Taromarou whined at Thoma while Itto combed his hair to fix it. The oni glanced at the housekeeper and noticed a sniffle. “Hey…? Are you okay?” he asked.
And that’s when the floodgates opened, of course, at that simple question. He trusted Itto, so his brain was simply wired to let go of his emotions now. He couldn’t say much as he wiped his tears.
“Thoma…” Itto knew Thoma liked hugs, so he sat down next to him on the floor and invited him into one. Ushi wiggled away from the towel to comfort the worrying shiba while the men hugged one another.
“There there, I got you…” Itto comforted, patting the other’s back. Thoma’s cries were mostly sniffles and hiccups. His voice was barely heard. He rested his head against the other, melting into the embrace as he sought comfort. “I’m just so tired…” he said, sniffling and wiping his eyes.
“I get that…” Itto couldn’t remember if he’d ever seen Thoma cry before. It worried him, but he kept focusing on comforting the other. Poor guy, thought Ushi as he stood by and watched, trying to comfort the whining shiba. Thoma calmed down after a while, feeling much better after letting his frustrations out. He wanted to pull away, but simply couldn’t as he rested against Itto, so tired from such a long day.
“You okay?” Itto asked, patting his back as he loosened the hug.
“Mm… it’s been a long day, I guess…” Thoma replied, wiping his eyes again.
“Yeah. Maybe it’s the weather? I mean, it’s pretty shitty today, isn’t it?” he said with a light chuckle, pleased to hear a snicker from the other.
“Heh, yeah. It’s been raining all day. I’ve felt down since I woke up this morning.” Thoma said, sighing. “I guess I got up on the wrong side?”
“Mm, maybe. I know how it feels. It sucks.” Itto replied, adjusting himself as Thoma pulled away.
“Yeah… one thing lead to another, and-… here we are.” Thoma said, hinting as if something else was wrong.
“Mhm? What happened?” Itto gave him a curious look.
“Ah, just… minor inconveniences building up.” He didn’t want to talk about it and hoped Itto wouldn’t pry.
“Ah, dude, I hate when that happens! And it’s always when we’re already upset- THAT’S when our clothes get caught on door handles.” Itto ranted, crossing his arms.
Thoma laughed, and Itto felt glad for that. “It’s true! It really is…!” the pyro wielder agreed, chuckling at Itto’s attitude.
“For real. Ugh!” Itto rolled his eyes before smirking and laughing it off with Thoma. They were still sat on the floor, allowing Taromarou to come cuddle his master.
“Y’know you can tell me anything, right?” Itto asked, patting Ushi who’d come over to join.
“Yeah… I just… I heard some whispers around the estate, and all… I kinda miss Mondstadt, too.” Thoma took a breath and explained as best as he could. Sometimes, certain estate guards were not kind to him. They didn’t think a guy from Mondstadt belonged there, working for such an important family in Inazuma. Their distasteful jabs really stuck with him today, since his mood was already down to begin with.
“It’s not the first time… I’ve already told Master Kamisato about it. Again.” he sighed as he said this, petting Taromarou while he spoke.
“Psh, then you gotta tell them to fuck off! Stand up for yourself, man! Those guards ain’t shit!” Itto said, angry that someone would be so mean to Thoma. He was such a kind soul! He didn’t deserve that!
“Ah, I know… but- well, they’re kinda intimidating, heh…” Thoma chuckled slightly, a bit embarrassed. Ushi huffed in response.
“They’re pussies, actually! What, they can talk smack behind your back, but can’t say it to your face?” Itto questioned.
Thoma chuckled. “They do, sometimes. It’s pretty back-handed.”
“The audacity! Ugh, when I catch them-…” Itto huffed angrily, clenching his fists.
“L-Let’s not escalate anything, okay? I’ll talk to Ayato about it…” Thoma said, smiling nervously.
“You still need to stand up for yourself and tell those guys to buzz off!” he said, now censoring his swears for Thoma’s sake.
“I-… I can’t do that, Itto.”
“Yes you can. Ayato wouldn’t fire you for that, y’know. He’s a chill guy.”
“That’s not what I’m worried about. Those guards just scare me too much…” Thoma frowned and looked away, getting nudged by Taromarou.
“Then scare them back. Tell them the big bad oni will come get them if they don’t stop!” Itto said, grinning with some amusement at his idea.
Thoma chuckled. “Itto, they’d arrest you on sight if I threaten them with that!”
“So what? I’m not going down without a fight!” Itto chuckled too, enjoying their newfound banter.
“And how do you think Ayato would react seeing you beat up his guards?”
“If his guards are asshats, they deserve it.” Itto shrugged. Thoma snickered and started laughing at Itto’s goofy arguments.
“Hahaha…! Oh you’re impossible to reason with~!” he teased.
“Pfft, so are you!” Itto struggled to contain his giggles.
“Touché. Hahahaha..!”
“Hahahahaha!”
Once they had calmed from their shared giggles, Thoma felt the weight on his heart lighten. Taromarou wagged his tail and nuzzled him to comfort further. Thoma giggled at the shiba’s antics, feeling ticklish from the way his muzzle rubbed against his neck.
“Aww~ such a good boy!” Itto cooed, smiling at the cuteness. Ushi agreed, giving a small nod he’d learned from the bipedals around him.
“Pfft~ Hehehey!” Thoma protested half-heartedly as Taromarou excitedly pawed at him, licking his face and wagging his tail. “I-It tickles!” Thoma giggled more as the dog managed to push him over.
“Hahaha! Yeah, get him!” Itto joked playfully, laughing along at the scene.
“Itto, help me~! Hehehehe!” Thoma laughed playfully, putting little effort into escaping.
“Haha, fear not, I’ll help ya out!” Itto said, with a rather devious expression which the housekeeper didn’t see.
“Ahahaha! Hurry!” Thoma laughed as the playful shiba licked his ear, trying to push the doggo away.
“Heheh, do I have to?” Itto took his time, giggling at the scene before scooping up Taromarou and placing him aside.
“Hehe…! Thank you…” Thoma chuckled, about to sit up before he suddenly found himself laughing out loud again as Itto betrayed him, tickling him instead. “WhAAHAHA!! Wahahahahait- nohohohohoho!!” he squealed with surprise, weakly pushing at his tickler’s wrists as he laughed and wiggled.
“Instructions unclear, couldn’t let him have all the fun!” Itto teased, playfully wiggling his fingers all around, gently but quickly tickling the other. Taromarou hopped around playfully as he watched, happy to see and hear Thoma smiling and giggling.
“Ihihittohohoho!! Ahahahahahaha! Plehehehease!” Thoma laughed, not squirming around as much as Itto had hoped he would. The tickly sensation of those nails combining with his shirt’s fabric was simply maddening, yet strangely fun.
“Heheh! You want me to stop?” Itto asked, targetting the other’s sides and ribs for the funnie.
“Ahahahahahaha!! N-Not thehehehere!!” Thoma squealed, his eyes squeezed shut as he laughed and wiggled. Despite how badly it tickled, Thoma didn’t squirm too much, but the teasing made him want to roll away and curl up. Itto snickered, finding him oddly adorable while tickling his tummy, making him laugh and flutter his legs. “Mhm? You want mercy yet?” he asked.
“Ahahahahahaha!! Y-Yehehes, plehehehease!!” Thoma finally pleaded, giggling his head off. He was a really ticklish guy; a fact both Kamisato siblings knew well before Itto found out.
“Hahaha! There ya go~ was that so hard?” Itto teased playfully as he stopped tickling. He reached out to help Thoma, pulling him up to sit.
“Haha… huff… haha… that was mean, you know…” He said, too shy to admit he’d needed it.
“Heh! Ya better keep on smiling now, or the tickle monster might getcha!” Itto joked, laughing at the playful shove he got in response.
“Don’t be so childish! Hahaha…” Thoma joked back, chuckling with amusement. Boy, he sure was lucky Itto had shown up.
“Hahahaha! I’m not being childish, I’m just warning ya.” Itto replied, sticking his tongue out in a playful expression.
“As if, you goof.” Thoma chuckled, feeling a lot better than he did earlier today. He was really glad Itto showed up, relieved to no longer have to cry. “Heh… thanks for cheering me up, though…” he said, a bit sheepish since he’d been tickled.
“Ah, no problem. I’m just glad I could help out!” Itto replied, grinning proudly. “And besides, it was really funny seein’ you giggle like that.”
“Oh, don’t even mention that!” Thoma blurted out, embarrassed by his teasing.
“Heh! Or what? What’re you gonna do ‘bout it?” Itto taunted playfully, giggling at the playful banter.
“Tch.” Thoma had to think of something…
“I’ll just tickle you agai-”
“Taromarou, get him!”
“Wh-What?!”
“Woof woof!” Itto’s confidence was short-lived as the shiba sprang up, wagging his tail as he unleashed his nuzzling attack. Ushi huffed and sat a bit further away from the chaos, knowing dang well his master wouldn’t last without squirming.
“Pfft- that’s not fair!” Itto protested, giggling his ass off already as he tried to gently push the dog away. The affectionate nuzzles and licks against his jaw tickled real bad.
“That’s how it started for me, so it’s plenty fair.” Thoma replied, chuckling with amusement. Unfortunately, he didn’t have the courage to tickle Itto himself, so he let his pupper do it instead.
“Hahahaha! Make him stop~! I- hahaha! I cahahan’t-! Hehehehe!” Itto struggled to speak through his giggles, and Taromarou pushed him over just like he’d done to Thoma.
“Hehehe, that’s so cute~!” Thoma cooed, adoring his dog’s antics. It was also really funny how such a small dog could bring such a powerful oni down like that.
“Hahahaha! C’mohohon! Stahp it!” Itto snickered and finally managed to convince Taromarou to let up, giggling as he caught his breath.
“Are you really that ticklish, Itto?” Thoma teased with amusement. He was genuinely curious, though.
“Tch, am not! Shut up…” Itto protested, though he struggled to act grumpy because that moment was simply too sweet not to smile at.
“You sure about that? Taro sure had you fighting for your life there.” Thoma said with a chuckle.
“Psh, that was nothing! It’s not like I was dying from some puppy love.” Itto scoffed, trying to save his pride.
“Mhm, sure…” Thoma chuckled and shook his head before standing up from the floor.
“I’m not lying!” Itto retorted, standing up as well.
“I didn’t say you were!” Thoma replied.
“You-…! Pfft-…”
Neither of them could continue their banter as they laughed at the situation. Itto never failed to bring joy and sunshine wherever he went, even on the gloomiest of days. Thoma felt grateful to have him as a friend; he was always so kind and loving to him.
Perhaps he should seek him out more often…

Lovelynim's tickletober Day 27: Picky
Kavetham
A/N: a big kiss to my baby girl kaveh MWAAAH
If Alhaitham had to describe Kaveh in one word, it would definitely be “picky”.
His coffee had to be made with beans brought from Inazuma (from Inazuma!), at exactly 67° degrees. No milk, two of sugar. His hair, although it looked messy, always took hin about two hours to get it just the way he wanted it.
And Alhaitham didn't even want to talk about how stupidly picky and perfectionist Kaveh was while doing his work. Honestly, Alhaitham didn't understand why he kept asking for his opinion if he didn't like anything he said!
But he was already used to it, Kaveh had always been that way, but there was something, a small thing that Alhaitham still didn't quite understand.
How could someone as picky as Kaveh like being tickled so much? It was the opposite of what Alhaitham would have expected. The ever perfect Kaveh, laughing out loud, pink-faced from lack of breath, his hair a mess and clothes in disarray, looking the happiest as his junior's hands tickled him all over.
"You really like this, huh?" Alhaitham asked with a soft chuckle as he saw Kaveh writhing in his lap, his hands clinging to Alhaitham's arms as the other tickled his tummy.
Kaveh nodded, laughing too hard to form coherent words.
"I wonder why. I never expected you'd enjoy something like this."
"GAHAHAHA! Thahahat tihihickles!" He cackled as Alhaitham's fingers moved up to tickle his lower set of ribs.
"It's because it's fun?"
Kaveh nodded again, snorting as the tickling climbed up his ribs and Alhaitham kind of understood. When Alhaitham tickled him, Kaveh didn't have to be perfect as usual. Hiding his feelings and emotions. When Alhaitham tickled him like this, he could let go of all obligations and thoughts and just let the sensation overwhelm him and make him laugh until he couldn't stand it any longer.
"You're adorable, Senior."
Please enjoy your tickles all you want. You deserve them.

May the best one win
Genshin Impact - Xiao, Aether, Albedo and Wanderer
A/N: First things first, I want to thank @eliankrios for his support, patience and - above all that - his trust. This is my first big project in a good while and I think (and hope) that I managed to do a good job so... yeah.
I'm not really used to larger fics, but before I noticed, I was already reaching the word count. This was trully a ride, hahah. Anyway, I hope you enjoy this, my dear, faithful customer!
Summary: One day away from starting the next cycle of his journey, why not gather a few friends - and a special person - to hang together?
Word count: 6605 words
Aether sat down and placed a bunch of letters on top of his desk, spreading them out in a fan. He couldn’t help but feel the expectation building up inside him, hoping for a positive outcome.
A couple weeks ago, Aether decided to promote some sort of gathering with his friends. A little farewell party before heading out to the next cycle of his adventure - after all, who knows for how long he will be away in Natlan?
So, with this thought in mind, Aether used his bestest writing to invite the ones he held dear over. Delivering the letters across all the continents he visited so far was a tough task, but Aether knew it would be worth the effort. Not only his friends, but he was also inviting him over, so of course he had to do each and every thing in his reach to make it work.
Back to the present, the replies to his invitations began to arrive, one after the other. The different seals in each stamp showed where they were from: Mondstadt, Liyue, Inazuma, Sumeru and Fontaine. Aether sighed, picking up the first one and carefully ripping it open.
His eyes scanned over the words written down, beaming with excitement with the positive answer by the foot of the page. A sense of relief and happiness filled his heart by the time he opened the second letter. And the third… well, the traveler pouted, maybe not everything would work out, after all. The fourth and fifth balanced each other out: both answers surprised Aether as they came as the completely opposite of what he had anticipated.
So far, Albedo, Xiao and Wanderer agreed to come over, while Kazuha and Lyney had to decline his request: one thanks to The Crux’s sailing plans and the other to his busy agenda. Still, managing to bring these three, with him included, was enough to fuel Aether’s imagination, dreaming of the day of the gathering.
He looked down at the letters, his mind now wandering to the second matter: what was he going to do with those three together? Thinking about it, would they even get along? Well, surely about was an easier person to be dealt with, but Xiao and Wanderer…
Aether shook his head. He shouldn’t be expecting the worst. What if they ended up enjoying each other's company? Or even became friends? Yes! The traveler stretched out his arms above his head, crossing his hands behind his head as he stared at the Serenitea Pot’s ceiling. He couldn’t wait for the day to come!
…
Well, they were talking to each other, at least. Not in the way Aether expected - or wanted, for that matter - but, still, a conversation, he supposed.
Clenching his hand around his cup, Aether peeked left and right, hoping to spot any improvement in his guests’ mood. So far, however, Albedo was the only one to be enjoying himself, it seemed. He sighed, a faint voice inside his head already telling this whole meeting was a bad idea.
It’s not like he could say things went downhill from the very start. At first, with just him and Albedo - the first one to arrive -, everything worked out just fine: they had a little chat, Albedo tried out one of his dishes and even complimented Aether on the whole idea. It, indeed, felt like it was about to work out amazingly.
However, it seemed like his plans shattered in front of his very own eyes from the moment his second and third guest arrived - both at the same time, coincidentally. As soon as Xiao and Wanderer landed eyes on each other, animosity and an ominous feeling began to fill the room.
For some unknown reason, they did seem to get along. Aether couldn’t recall a time where they could possibly have interacted before and, being in his right mind, he wouldn’t consider inviting them both together if he knew about any of this - so why do they seem to… hate each other?!
Still, at first, Aether tried to think that it was just his impressions. After all, they wouldn’t be at each other’s throats for the whole night, now, would they?
They would. In fact, they were still at it.
There was no need for words when the two anemo users stared at each other like that, silently threatening their opponent and throwing daggers with their piercing looks. Aether could barely breathe as the tension began to get to him. It felt like they would start to throw punches if Aether took his eyes out of them for a single second!
Suddenly - breaking the silence like a rock thrown at a peaceful lake - Albedo hummed, clearly pleased. “The tea is really good, traveler,” he said, taking the cup away from his lips as he lowered it, “where did you say it came from again?”
Aether’s jaw dropped. ‘My savior’, he thought, coughing to clean up his throat before proudly holding his cup up. “From Fontaine! It might be a bit too sweet, but I really liked it, hehe… I ended up getting a couple more, so drink as much as you want, ‘Bedo!”
“Huh, ‘a bit too sweet’?” Wanderer scoffed, leaning back in his seat and cocking his head to the side, throwing Aether a teasing stare. “You have such a childish taste, traveler. I bet you even added sugar to your cup, didn’t you?”
“A-ahah,” Aether giggled nervously, blushing slightly. He indeed added an extra sugar cube… “Well, I just-”
“You don’t have to drink it if you don’t like it,” Xiao interrupted drily, his arms crossed in front of his chest while his brows furrowed. Uh oh. “Aether had all the trouble in preparing it for us. It’s rude to complain like that.”
“X-Xiao, it’s not that ser-”
“So what? Why are you even hurting in his place?” Wanderer snapped back defiantly, barely shifting in his place if not for his head tilting back - moving it just to look down at Xiao.
This was bad. Really, really bad. Aether looked left and right, trying to utter something to ease the tension, but ending up just getting interrupted before managing to utter anything. He didn’t even know if he should step in at that point - what if they thought he was taking a side? Even worse, what if they wanted him to take a side?!
While Aether lost himself in a flurry of thoughts, with one idea running over the other, Xiao and Wanderer continued their ‘little’ bickering, getting more and more flared up with each other.
“You should show proper respect to your host - especially if it’s someone as Aether,” Xiao hissed, leaning forward in his seat as if ready to jump at Wanderer’s face within the next seconds.
Still, the other guy didn’t seem like he was planning to back down. “I can talk to him however I want. We are friends and he doesn’t mind. Why should I listen to you?”
“Apologize to the traveler. Now.”
“Or what, Yaksha?” Wanderer grinned. “Want to take it outside? I can b-”
Clap!
“Ahem.”
The two stopped, widening their eyes in surprise and turning their attention to Albedo, who still had his hands together. He also managed to call Aether’s attention, who watched him with expectant eyes - almost as if begging him for a solution. Someone as smart as him surely could come up with something, right?
“I didn’t plan to step in, but it doesn’t seem like you two will figure it out peacefully,” he sighed, his eyes scanning the room from one side to the other, making eye contact with Xiao and, then, with Wanderer. “Am I right?”
The two guys looked away, one puffing out his cheeks while the other clicked his tongue. Why did it feel like he was dealing with two kids..?
“He started it,” Xiao mumbled, saddened to see how distressed Aether was at the whole scene. “He was being rude to Aether.”
Wanderer sighed, rolling his eyes, “exactly, to Aether. Not to you. He doesn’t even care, you are the only one complaining.” Just as he finished speaking, Wanderer also shot a glance at Aether’s face and, despite his attempts to conceal his emotions, it was clear that it also bothered him.
However, even when they were aware of the consequences of their bickering, it didn’t seem to be enough to appease the mood. In a blink of an eye, they were about to start the whole discussion all over again.
So, for the second time, Albedo decided to meddle in their fight. “Do you two really wish to fight each other so badly?”
The unfriendly duo huffed, keeping themselves quiet, but clearly agreeing with Albedo’s statement.
“Sure, you can fight, then.”
“A-Albedo?!” Aether gasped, what was he even trying to achieve by allowing such a thing? Did he want to take notes on the results of Xiao and Wanderer’s falling out?! “N-no, you can’t fig-”
“But,” Albedo continued, skilfully capturing the attention of all the people in the room, “to prevent any harm to be done, you’ll have to solve this through a contest. And, whoever wins, gets to be ‘right’ about this matter. Good enough?”
Silence quickly sat in the room. Albedo could be a really mysterious - if not confusing - person when he wanted and, at times like these, it was almost impossible to figure him out. What was he even planning with this ‘contest’?
“Why would I even joi-”
“Fine for me,” Xiao abruptly cut Wanderer’s speech, looking at his possible opponent. “I can do it, no matter what it is.”
Wanderer gritted his teeth, growling quietly as Xiao managed to easily get into his nerves. “Ok, let’s do it. I can’t wait to hear the Yaksha begging for my pardon.”
Albedo smiled, looking at his side to meet Aether’s eyes. “Would you like to join as well, traveler?”
“H-huh? Me?”
“Yes, you can take part in it too,” Albedo nodded. “If you win, then they both shall apologise to each other.”
Aether furrowed his brows slightly, taking the offer in consideration. Certainly, winning on their terms would probably prevent Xiao and Wanderer from getting into another fight so it should be worth the try, right?
“Alright, I’ll join you guys too!” Aether clenched his hands, excited. This was getting interesting. “So, what’s your idea, Albedo?”
“Yeah,” Wanderer added, “what’s the ‘contest’ about?”
“Endurance.”
…
“What?” Xiao, Aether and Wanderer asked, almost in unison.
Albedo chuckled, taking back his seat and elegantly crossing one knee over the other, ready to start his explanation. “So, the main goal here is to prevent you,” he pointed to Xiao, “and you,” then at Wanderer, “to hurt each other. My proposal, then, is an endurance test. Whoever lasts longer, wins. Simple as that.”
“And how exactly do you plan to test our endurance? Making us run around the house?” Wanderer mumbled, supporting his head on his hand as he looked at Albedo.
“By tickling you,” Albedo said with a smile, contrasting the unsettled faces of the other three. “Whoever takes the longest time to yield, wins.”
It didn’t take long for a pink hue to cover everyone’s faces. While Aether’s eyes widened and his whole body tensed up with a shiver running up his spine, Wanderer looked away, trying to hide his blushing cheeks by pretending to cringe at the idea. Meanwhile, Xiao fiddled in his seat, trying to find courage to face such a trial while telling himself that ‘it was for Aether’.
And, just like that, no one dared to object to the idea - each of them with their own reasons to not do so. “It’s settled then,” Albedo said as he clapped his hands together, his eyes scanning the whole room while a subtle smirk planted itself on his lips. “Is there anyone that would like to go first?”
That question seemed to spark a whole new level of anticipation among the ‘contestants’. Eager eyes shifted back and forth between one and another, trying to read who was going to make the first move.
A sharp inhale, then, directed everyone’s attention to Wanderer. “Fine, I’ll do it. Just get over with this stupid contest already,” he groaned, throwing a deadly glare to the other three as if daring one of them to even lift a finger towards him.
And as expected, his silent threats seemed to do the trick for Aether while, as for the Yaksha, it seemed to make him hesitate - after all, he wouldn’t want to start a fight in front of the traveler again. However, during the few seconds Wanderer occupied himself with keeping an eye on them, Albedo made his move.
“AH!” Wanderer squeaked like a toy, quickly shooting his arms down and pressing them against his body as hard as he could, trying to stop Albedo’s hands from climbing his ribs any further. “Y-you- fuhuck! G-grhrr, I wihill f-fuhucking kihill you!!” He growled, leaning his head back into the chair rest, but further into Albedo’s grasp.
“You’re allowed to laugh, though. I think I forgot to mention that,” Albedo mused, his index fingers poking at different spots in Wanderer’s ribcage, prodding at the little spaces between each bone in search for a sensitive spot that would make him crack. “Just say ‘yellow’ when you can’t take it anymore and I’ll stop, ok? That’s also what will count as ‘yield’.”
“I d-dohon’t need a fu- pfft, d-damn it! A sahahafe word! I’m n-nohot tihihicklish!”
“Whatever helps you sleep at night,” Albedo mocked, digging into the back of Wanderer’s ribs with his thumb. Getting behind him was proving to be awfully convenient for him, he thought while making little notes in his head about Wanderer’s ticklish spots.
It was a sight to behold, from Aether’s and Xiao’s point of view. Albedo made touching someone like Wanderer seem easy, even casual, completely tickling his way through the threats and curses.
“You’re pretty ticklish here, right?”
“N-NOhohoh!! G-gehehet off, ahAHAH!!”
If it weren’t for the fact that they were up next in the line to get that treatment, it would be a pretty amusing scene to watch. As expected of Albedo, it seemed that every tweak of his fingers, every poke and every stroke were planned, calculated. Wanderer didn’t stand a chance as no matter what direction he arched or twisted his body, Albedo would already have his hands ready to welcome him with more tickles there. “Yohohou jehEHEHerk!! It tihihickles!”
Albedo simply scoffed a laugh and continued with the ‘contest’s trial’, his digits kneading at Wanderer’s lowest set of ribs. “Of course it does, that’s my goal.”
But despite how hard he tried to make it tickle or how bad Wanderer claimed it to be, he was still not yielding - which meant it wasn’t time for Albedo to stop or let him go yet. A small pout took place in his lips while he pondered if he should try a different spot or, maybe, look around Aether’s place for a quill or a brush?
Then, feeling the gazes of his audience upon him and the current contestant, a different idea popped up in Albedo’s mind. Right, why didn’t he consider asking for some helping hands before?
“Would you like to join us?” Albedo suggested, cocking his head to the right while one of his hands managed to sneak under Wanderer’s arm, managing to tickle the smooth skin with the tip of his digits even with Wanderer clasping his arms down as hard as he possibly could. “Oh, did I hit a good spot?” He mused, looking down to the one squirming in his grip.
“NOHohohoh!! I-it’s ahAHAHahwful!!” Wanderer whined, his feet kicking up as he threw himself back in his seat, hoping to make Albedo lose contact with him, even if it was just for a split of a second.
Back to the other two, they pondered about Albedo’s offer - after all, that seemed to be a double edged knife: if they did join, that meant Wanderer would also get to join when it was their turn to get tickled? But wouldn’t that also mean they had the chance to make him surrender faster? Well, it was worth the shot, Xiao thought, while Aether only considered that it would make things more fun - and that should be enough to outweigh the cons.
Wanderer - too busy laughing and squirming in his seat, trying to fend off Albedo’s skilful fingers - barely noticed the two figures walking towards him. Not only that, but it wasn’t like any other sound besides his giggles could make it out of his mouth at that time.
All he could pay attention to was Albedo’s fingers trying to move and wiggle their way further up his torso, still managing to tickle him under his arms even when he tried so hard to protect that spot. Each move sent that awful signal that made him want to smile and laugh through his nerves and straight into his brain, over and over.
He wasn’t even human, so why was he so sensitive?
Suddenly, that and other inquiries that crossed his mind lost all the room they had inside Wanderer’s mind. With his eyes still pressed shut, he could only feel - as focused for a brief moment - that Albedo’s hands managed to… multiply? Wait, that didn’t make any sense. If he was tickling his armpits, then who the hell was holding him down by his waist?
Oh.
“W-wahahait!! I didn’t sahahay you’d gehehet to join!” Wanderer whined, pulling his knees up close to his stomach as his in a vain attempt of stopping Aether from joining in. “GeEHEhet ahaway frohohom me!!”
“Stop squirming,” Xiao groaned coldly, grabbing one of his ankles and forcing him to stretch out his leg, “Albedo said we could join. You weren’t already thinking of yielding, were you?”
“Don’t be mean to him, Xiao,” Aether said, but didn’t complain about the extra room Xiao provided him. His fingers roamed freely, wiggling over Wanderer’s lower sides and stomach.
“YOHOHOU!! AHahAHaha, y-you suhuhuck!” Wanderer laughed, scrunching up his shoulders and thrashing his head left and right.
Albedo tickling his armpits and ribs from behind, Aether playing with his middle like an instrument and that stupid Yaksha holding his legs down. This couldn’t possibly have gone any worse, Wanderer thought while a wide, careless smile bloomed into his face.
“Tickle tickle tickle! ~” Aether cooed, repetitively poking Wanderer around his navel, circling his stomach and even going down to tease his sides as well. “I think I’m better than Albedo at tickling you, won’t you agree?”
“That’s bold coming from you, traveler,” Albedo snapped back, “I would say he is barely feeling your hands.”
It was hard to even process what was happening around him. Wanderer’s body mostly moved out of reflex, barely having room to ponder about his actions. He arched his back, tried to kick his feet up and even twist his torso, swatting his hands at any ‘threat’ within his reach. “S-stohohop it!! Y-yohou ahHAHare all s-so- aHAHaha, so l-lahahame!”
If this was how things went, Wanderer could probably achieve a decent score with much effort. However, there was a missing piece that he failed to notice: Xiao. The Yaksha, while keeping Wanderer’s legs held down, watched the whole scene carefully and plotted his strategy - the main goal was to defeat him, after all. Why show him any mercy?
“I tohohold you to stahAHAHAH!!”
Aether and Albedo widened their eyes as his laughter soon rose a pitch. Maybe even two. To their surprise, the ‘best tickler’ wasn’t Aether nor Albedo, but Xiao. “This is the weak spot,” Xiao muttered, his eyes coldly staring at Wanderer’s laughing face. He kept one of his legs outstretched while, with his free hand, he squeezed the spot just above Wanderer’s knee, sending him into hysterics.
Simple. Effective. Even a bit cruel, if you asked Wanderer. The tickling from Albedo and Aether even slowed down a bit, but Wanderer’s laugh only seemed to grow more and more frantic.
“NOHOHOH MOHOHOREHEH!! AHAHAhah, f-fiHIHIHINE! AHAH ~” He whined, desperately trying to pull his leg out of Xiao’s grip, “Y-YEHEHEHELLOW!! StahAHAH-”
Clap.
Xiao lifted his eyes from Wanderer’s to Albedo’s face. The alchemist had a pleased smile on his face while holding his hand out in front of his chest.
“A-ahah… ah… y-you freheheak…” Wanderer cursed through tired giggles, his body going limp on top of his seat. His disheveled hair sticking to his forehead while his chest waved, trying to catch up his breath.
“Well, that wraps up our first round,” Albedo explained.
A cocky smirk took place in Xiao’s lips as he looked down at his main opponent, almost as if mocking him. Meanwhile, Aether’s eyes opened wide, beaming with excitement and anticipation - as that was probably what would wait for him. “H-how long was it, ‘Bedo?”
“I can’t say it yet, traveler,” he chuckled, “I don’t want anyone trying to push themselves beyond their limit just because of a silly game. So, let’s just stick with the rules for now, yes?” With that said, Albedo slowly walked around the chair, letting Wanderer rest while looking at Xiao and Aether, “should I decide who is going next, now?”
If it weren’t for Wanderer’s heavy breathing, the room would have been engulfed by silence again. However, just as Albedo was about to say something else, his attention shifted from the pair of “upcoming contestants” to the one next him. “Wanderer, what are you-”
“The Yaksha is going next,” Wanderer said as he got up, walking towards Xiao with bloodlust in his eyes. Did he really remember the goal of this contest was to not use violence?! “Come here!”
“G-get away from me!” Xiao groaned, trying to step back just to be tackled down into the soft carpet. Before Aether or Albedo could express their concern, Wanderer was already… tickling him. “S-stohop it! I dohon’t want y-you to doho it!” Xiao whined, kicking up his feet and swatting his hands at Wanderer's in a rather careless manner - it was not like he would bother himself with trying to not hurt him by accident.
Wanderer, with a wicked grin spreading over his face, continued to knead into Xiao's sides, determined to break him into laughter as soon as possible. “What do you mean? You wanted someone else to tickle you, you freak?” He mocked, pushing his hands away before dig into his lower stomach.
“S-shuhut it!! This ihihis nohohothing!” Xiao laughed out loud, caught off guard by the sudden change of spots. A faint blush began to spread over his face as he realized Aether had been watching him all this time. “I c-cahan tahahake it,” he boasted, almost as if trying to impress the traveler.
Wanderer, however, wasn't going to let that slide off easily - he was also one of the contestants, after all. “Suit yourself, Yaksha,” he muttered, half annoyed by Xiao's stubbornness, half amused by the whole situation.
Xiao was fighting not only one battle, but two. One to restrain himself from laughing, to make that revengeful tickling a bit more bearable and last the longest among them - or, at least, longer than Wanderer. The second was to maintain a collected image in front of Aether - the one he was ‘fighting’ for. It was just a childish, stupid game, not something that could beat a Yaksha. It was just tickling - he could, and would, take it, yes.
“I-ihihit’s useless!” Xiao mumbled through gritted teeth, trying to mock Wanderer’s attempts to crack him up. “Yohohou are teheherrible at this!”
And as much as he would hate to admit, seeing Xiao taking it so well was starting to get on Wanderer's nerves. He tried tickling his sides and ribs, scratching his stomach and even pinch his waist, but couldn’t find a spot that really worked: all he could get from Xiao was those quiet, annoyed chuckles. “It doesn’t sound like you agree with that, Yaksha.”
“Are they always this competitive?” Albedo muttered to Aether with a surprised smile on his face, unable to do anything but be amused by the whole scene. “I didn’t expect they would take it so seriously.”
“W-well, they never hung together before,” Aether chirped, scratching the back of his head in surprise. At least no one was getting hurt and they were… enjoying themselves? Having fun? Something like that, he thought. “But I think it’s a good thing they… are sort of getting alo-”
“Hey, you two,” Wanderer groaned with a frown, “aren’t you going to help me as well? Or did you suddenly decide to not get involved?”
“H-hah, I knehehew you cohohouldn’t do it b-by yohohourself,” Xiao taunted again, a confident smirk taking space in his lips amidst the restrained giggles. He, however, kept a tight grip around Wanderer’s wrists, limiting a good amount of his moves. “You ahahare not up fohor the tahask!”
“Shut it, Yaksha,” Wanderer groaned, growing frustrated. He moved his head left and right, switching his attention between Xiao and the other duo, “I’ll make you eat your words, j-just you- ugh, let go,” he hissed, yanking his hands out of Xiao’s wrists before latching them at his sides again, making the latter arch his back and kick his feet as a loud fit of laughter nearly broke through his throat.
Aether and Albedo couldn’t help but to snicker at the scene. Nodding as if in some kind of silent agreement, they decided to join Wanderer’s efforts in making Xiao laugh.
Albedo first positioned himself behind Wanderer’s, further restraining Xiao’s legs. Despite the whines and protests, he managed to pull off one of his boots and pin his leg into the soft mattress to scribble over the socked sole with his free hand. Albedo’s fingers wiggled upwards, stroking from Xiao’s heel up to his toes.
As for Aether, he took upon himself the task to take care of Xiao’s hands, taking a seat right next to the Yaksha’s head and allowing him to use his lap as a pillow. With a bit of Wanderer’s aid, he managed to pull Xiao’s hands up, exposing more of his torso for Wanderer’s merciless tickles. For some reason, having Aether holding his wrists down was flustering him the most among everything that was happening around him.
With the ticklish feeling running back and forth all over his body, Xiao thrashed his head, pressing it further into Aether’s lap as he laughed brightly. His free leg kicked and his back arched - his defenses had, indeed, crumbled. Still, the whole point wasn’t to make him laugh, but to make him surrender.
“T-thahAHAH- that’s unfahAHAhair!!” Xiao laughed, a faint red shade covering the whole extent of his cheeks. “L-lehehet go, trahAHAhaveler!” He pleaded, his hands clenched into fists while he desperately tried to pull down his arms, only to have Aether stopping him midway and pinned down again
“Not so cocky now, eh?” Wanderer grinned, his fingers digging into the side of Xiao’s ribs while his thumbs prodded at the spot below his chest, determined to find that spot, that sweet spot that would make Xiao apologize for nagging him. “Tsk, just yield already, stubborn Yaksha,” Wanderer groaned, quickly shooting his hands down to pinch Xiao’s sides, “you are clearly at your limit.”
“It would be wise to not push you to your limits, Xiao,” Albedo said, barely bothering himself to look back at the whole scene as he was too entertained with Xiao’s foot trying to squirm away from his fingers. “If you feel like it, just say the word.”
“I’m doHOHOhon’t neh-HEHEHEH NEEHEHED IT!”
The three sighed, something giving them the feeling that Xiao would rather have his brain melted by the laughter than admit defeat. “Oh, Xiao, why are you always so stubborn?” Aether chuckled, his fingers itching to do a bit more than just holding Xiao down… but, if he were to join, he should pick a good spot - but where?
His eyes roamed from Xiao’s flushed cheeks down to his neck, then up to his ears and to his arms, which were held up next to his head. Oh. Aether smirked, letting go of one of Xiao’s hands and reaching out for his exposed underarm, clawing at it with his free hand. “Come on, Xiao ~ I know it tickles too bad, even for you ~”
Just as expected, Xiao bursted into a louder fit of laughter as soon as Aether joined the efforts into cracking him up. The Yaksha’s banged his free hand against the soft mat underneath him, clenching it into a fist.
His cheeks and the sides of stomach were hurting from laughing so much and he couldn’t even make some meaning out of the conversation that was happening around him. It tickled so, so bad… Xiao pressed his eyes shut, trying to ignore the tickling, but each second of that electric feeling running all over his body felt an eternity. He couldn’t take it.
“AHAHAHAH, YEHEHELLOW!! YehEHEHEllow, plehehease!!” Xiao barked out among his cackles, turning his laughing face to the side and trying to bury it into Aether’s legs to hide his blushing cheeks. It took his brain some solid seconds to process that the tickling was over and, after all that “torment”, he was free.
“H-hehe, are you ok, Xiao?” Aether hummed, brushing his hand through Xiao’s head and wiping out the little tears that clung to the corner of his eyes.
“Tsk”, Wanderer pouted, totally not jealous of the little aftercare the Yaksha was receiving, “it’s just tickling. What kind of warrior would he be if he can’t take it?”
Albedo chuckled, but spared Wanderer of the reminder that he was the one laughing his head off just moments ago. “Don’t be mean, he did a pretty good job at this round,” he added, sliding off Xiao’s legs, “now… there is only one contestant left, right?”
That comment seemed to switch something inside Wanderer and Xiao’s heads. While Albedo displayed a playful smile, the other two locked their gazes into Aether’s face, one from below and the other in front of him, the latter just a half-a-Xiao away. “A-ahm… wait a second, I-”
“You’re not going back on your word, right?” Wanderer said with a smirk on his lips, already moving off of Xiao’s lap. Before Aether could even think of arguing back, the Yaksha was already sitting back up, staring at him with his golden eyes.
Aether swallowed, already accepting that there would be no way out for him this time. “F-fine, you cahAHA! W-wahahait a second, Xiao!”
“No,” Xiao muttered in a quiet, almost serious voice tone while he shyly pawed at Aether’s exposed sides, kneading into any patch of skin he could reach.
Truth to be told, Aether would have to deal with both him and Wanderer tickling him from the start if it weren’t for the way Xiao looked at the other two - like a wild animal fighting for its territory. Still, Aether was too busy laughing and trying to defend himself to notice those bits of possessive behavior. “You shouldn’t have agreed to this, traveler,” Xiao hummed, his words as firm as you’d expect from a warrior, but still… gentle somehow. “You’re too ticklish for it, it’s unwise.”
“I wahahanted to try!” Aether giggled, letting himself be handled by the Yaksha and comfortably placed on Xiao’s lap. With one arm around his back, Xiao continued to tickle Aether, smiling fondly as he managed to hang this close to the traveler. “X-Xiahahao,” Aether whimpered, scrunching up his shoulder, “n-not my ehehehar!”
“But I’m not tickling you there, I’m just breathing,” Xiao chuckled, his fingers dancing around Aether’s stomach while he nuzzled his face against the side of Aether’s neck, “I told you, you’re too ticklish for this contest.”
While Xiao insisted on teaching and lecturing Aether about the sensitive spots in his body, Wanderer and Albedo exchanged glances, watching from afar as Aether laughed out brightly. “Doesn’t this count as going too easy on him?” Wanderer pouted, crossing his arms in front of his chest as he sulked against the couch.
“Let him have it,” Albedo sighed with a slight chuckle, “and I’m not talking about the traveler,” he added quietly, making Wanderer arch one of his eyebrows. Well, at least someone in the room knew how to read in between the lines, after all. “Besides, don’t you think you’re taking this competition a little too seriously?”
“What?” Wanderer huffed, entertaining himself with the conversation while Aether’s laughter grew in the background, “do you expect me to compete for the second place? Someone needs to teach that Yaksha his place.”
Albedo laughed, covering his lips with the back of his hand in a charming manner. “Well, if you say so,” he shook his head, returning his attention to Aether - who was already blushing from laughing. For some reason, Xiao was also blushing just as much, if not more, while tickling the traveler.
“Xiahahahao, n-not thehehere!” Aether giggled, tugging at Xiao’s wrists and leaning his head back into Xiao’s shoulder while Xiao pinched and squeezed his waist, prodding at the soft spots just above his hip bones. “I-it tihihihickles too bahahahad!”
“I-it’s supposed to,” Xiao nodded, resting his chin by the side of Aether’s neck and allowing him to sink deeper into his embrace, “but you’re d-doing quite well, traveler. I expected you to tap out much faster than thi-”
“It’s because you’re going too easy on him,” Wanderer interrupted with a smirk, pushing himself back up into his feet and walking towards the little couple duo. Xiao frowned, too greedy to share his precious traveler with that… guy.
“I know how he likes it,” Xiao snapped, making Aether groan in embarrassment. Did he really need to say that out loud, the traveler thought, but didn’t voice it. “Unlike you, it seems.”
However, against what he expected, Wanderer chuckled at his snark. He shook his head and clicked his lips, almost as if spotting a fatal flaw in Xiao’s method. “That’s the problem. He shouldn’t like it, right? He needs to beg!”
“AHAHAH!!”
Xiao widened his eyes as Aether bursted out in a loud, unrestrained fit of laughter - and only then he realized the traveler was only giggling all this time, and not laughing for real. “He is pretty ticklish all over, all somewhat the same,” Wanderer scoffed, pushing his hands under Aether's arms and clawing at his ribs and the sides of his chest, “you need to go harder or you’re not going to make any progress.”
As much as he hated to admit, Xiao couldn’t deny that Wanderer seem to be… right. Could he actually have been going easy on Aether all this time without notice?
Despite the little bickering happening around him, Aether could only mind the fact that it tickled. Xiao’s gentle, playfully tickles around his stomach and hips made him feel lighthearted, made his heart flutter. Meanwhile, the restless, almost maniac-like touches from Wanderer’s fingers around his ribs made his head spin and even made his chest hurt a little from the lack of air. “A-AHAHAHALBEDO,” Aether cried out, pressing his arms down against his sides as he tried to protect his vulnerable torso from the tickles that seemed to come from all sides, “HEHEHELP MEHEHE! AHAHA!!”
“I can’t,” the alchemist said from the distance, his voice barely audible among the loud cackling, “you didn’t say it yet.”
Right, the word. That word. Aether shook his head, gritting his teeth as he tried to gather strength to say it. “Y-YEHEHE- AHAHAH!! Y-yehehell- hhahAHAH, I CAHAHAN’T!”
“Come on,” Wanderer mocked, “it’s a simple word, how come you can’t do it?”
“I’M TRYHIHING! AHAHAH, PLEHEHEASE!” He whined, shaking his head while tears of mirth clung to his lashes, “Y-YELLOW! YEHEHEHELLOW!”
Wanderer grinned triumphantly and Albedo sighed in relief, but Xiao pouted slightly, feeling like his fun was ruined by that other guy - even though he was still glad he managed to have Aether for himself, even if for just a bit.
“A-ahahah… o-oh my…” Aether giggled, nearly melting over Xiao as the tickling finally came to halt. His head was spinning and he could swear he almost ascended to Celestia right there and then. “T-thihis was fun, heh…”
“It’s not supposed to be fun, it’s a competition,” Wanderer corrected him, that self-assigned superiority back in his eyes. “Now, alchemist, who wo-”
“Wait,” Aether stopped, shaking his head as if to force himself to recover, “it’s not over yet,” he smiled, taking one last gasp of air to stead his breath. “It’s Albedo’s turn now.”
“What?” Albedo blinked in confusion, pointing to himself with one of his hands as if to emphasize his shock. “But I’m not participating,” he said while letting out a small giggle, trying to hide his nervousness.
“How come?” Wanderer added, reading through Aether’s intentions and deciding to encourage them for once, “it’s only fair you get a turn too, this was all your idea, after all.”
Albedo’s eyebrow twitched slightly while his body leaned back into the couch, the apprehension growing within his chest. “M-my idea to solve your conflicts, I’m not part of the deal. W-what would I even win by beating you?”
“That’s up for you to decide,” Xiao added, standing up again before helping Aether to get back into his feet, “but I agree you should participate.”
Aether looked at Wanderer, at his right, and then at Xiao, at his left. He didn’t expect them to join or support his plan - he only wanted an excuse to tickle Albedo, after all - but this whole ‘contest’ thing seemed to, indeed, have made them closer. “Get ready, ‘Bedo! ~”
“A-Aether!” Albedo gasped, trying to get up in a hurry to evade Aether, but only managing to get a few meters away from the couch before being tackled down by the traveler. “S-stohop!”
“I didn’t even start,” Aether laughed, straddling Albedo’s back before starting to tickle his sides and lower ribs. “Show them how it’s done, ‘Bedo!”
Damn it. Of all the things that could’ve happened, a turn of tables against him - with even Xiao and Wanderer fighting on the same side - was the last one Albedo expected. “Nohoho! I dohohon’t wahahant to pahaharticipate!”
Aether smirked, shaking his head, “too late for that! But don’t worry, I’m rooting for you,” he said, letting out a short giggle while trying to move his fingers towards Albedo’s armpits - an attempt the alchemist promptly blocked, stopping to flail his arms and using them to try to protect his body instead. “You two,” Aether called out, looking over his shoulder, “aren’t you going to join?”
Xiao and Wanderer nodded, walking towards where Albedo had been restrained, “of course, he is the ‘most promising contestant’, after all, “Wanderer commented sarcastically.
“W-wahahait! Yellow! I-I quihihit!”
“That’s not acceptable,” Xiao added in a cold voice tone despite the warm, playful smile on his face, “you’re clearly not being fair with us. You should always give it your all, no matter the circumstances.”
“Nohoho! W-what ahahre you two doin- aHAHAH! H-hehehey, lehehet me go! ~” Albedo laughed, feeling some more weight against his legs before the new sets of fingers began to roam and tickle any spot they could find around his legs. If they were already so determined to tickle him, Albedo didn’t even want to imagine how they would react when they found out that there was no true winner - after all, he had never timed their turns to begin with.
Sigh, at least they seemed more friendly towards each other now, Albedo thought while trying to sound “genuine” enough in his attempts of yielding between his laughter. This was going to be a long - but fun - night…

______________________________________________________________
Beidou x Kazuha (platonic)
Lee: Kazuha
Ler: Beidou
Warnings: Tickles
______________________________________________________________
What better time to strike some sweet revenge than spooky month?
Beidou surely hasn’t forgotten about Kazuha’s prank during his so-called massage. She had been plotting her move for a while. As everyone knew, the samurai was very perceptive and catching him off guard is no easy task. Though, if Beidou was anything, it was stubborn. But most importantly, she tackled each task head on, much like now, literally.
“Boo!” she yelled out like a war cry as she swept Kazuha off his feet, carrying him bridal style, much to the samurai’s embarrassment.
“Captain? What are you doing?”
She could tell that Kazuha had gotten flustered from that, but was still hiding it well behind his polite tone, that wouldn’t do.
“Teaching you what happens when you mess with this ol’ captain~” with that, she threw the boy over her shoulder. Chuckling in amusement when she heard a startled yelp. She carried him like a sack of potatoes over to her quarters, ungraciously dropping him into a pile of pillows.
A small ‘oof’ could be heard when Kazuha fell on the ground. His face slowly grew red like maple leaves after being carried like that with such ease. Beidou truly was something. “Captain, let’s talk about thihiHISSS!” a squeal emitted from the samurai’s mouth when Beidou pounced on him, her fingers getting to work swiftly as they made contact with the anemo user’s sides. Scribbling softly over the clothed skin.
The captain let out a low whistle, amazed by how easily the usually calm samurai could crumble from a few wiggly fingers. “My, my, who knew that the ever strong Kazuha was as ticklish as a little boy~”
“Ahahah! Beidou, plehehease!” a whine came out of the white haired male. His brain felt so scrambled up in ticklishness that he didn’t know whether to cover his face or try pushing at Beidou’s hands, resulting in an adorably funny Kazuha flailing his limbs all over the place.
“Please what? Please keep going? Gladly~ I’m having the time of my life watching you lose all that composure” Beidou has her usual grin on her face, or at least that’s what most would say. There was a softer, endeared look, one that the samurai would’ve noticed if he wasn’t so busy laughing his pretty little head off.
His breathy bouts of laughter grew more frantic and squeaky when he felt Beidou’s fingers lightly pressing between each rib. Each jab made him want to jump out of his skin. “You know that’s nohohot what I meheheant! Ack! Beidohohou!” Kazuha’s hands finally settled onto weakly gripping Beidou’s wrists, practically putting no effort into getting her to stop. If he could talk, he’d probably brush it off as him having lost his strength from laughing so much, but I doubt that explanation could’ve even fooled himself.
“No? But you sure seem like you’re enjoying yourself. Just look at you! All smiles and giggles, without actually trying to stop me~” her fingers managed to reach the soft spot under his arms, watching Kazuha double down into another fit of laughter.
The samurai could feel his head grow all fuzzy. The teasing on top of the tickling was doing a number on him. The embarrassment of the captain having figured him out so easily made him feel even more vulnerable. All he could really do now was allow himself to take it, leaning his head back as those joyful titters fell out of his mouth like cascades.
“See? Much better when you let yourself enjoy it” yeah this was supposed to be a sort of punishment as revenge, but getting to hear Kazuha’s unfiltered laugh for once was way better. At most, all she had heard from the samurai were the usual polite chuckles. Seeing that persona slip out felt more rewarding than any treasure.
Her fingers eventually stopped tormenting the samurai’s underarms. Instead opting to slip under his garments to reach his bare middle. She let out a chuckle when Kazuha flinched over the cold fingers touching his warm skin.
“Eheheheh! C-Captain, not thehehere…!” Kazuha would arch his back before falling flat again, the feeling of the captain’s fingers softly tracing around his sensitive stomach really drove him up the wall.
“Pshh, stop denying it already. You ain’t fooling me.” Beidou smirked when Kazuha squealed, a whine getting mixed into it when her index finger slipped into his navel, causing him to giggle up a storm.
“Nohohoho! I cahahan’t! Plehehehease!!” Kazuha pleaded desperately, but the joy in his tone was unmistaken. He was just that ticklish.
“It’s like a giggle spot… or a giggle button! Just have to press here and you giggle like a madman!~” she kept playfully poking and prodding at the small indent until Kazuha started to hiccup through his giggles. Absolutely adorable! Could make a grown man squeal from cuteness.
With that, Beidou finally relented on the ticklish torment, letting out a hearty laugh when Kazuha desperately gasped for breath between his hiccups. “You okay there, kid?”
Kazuha responded with a shaky thumbs up, too embarrassed out of his mind over what just happened, and his unstopping hiccups. He really was turned into a mess of a person. Definitely going to keep this in mind next time he decides to mess with Beidou.
“Good~” the electro user playfully ruffled his hair, her smile turning more fond as Kazuha’s hiccups slowly subsided, leaving behind a blinding smile from laughing so much. It was very different from the usual smiles he gave, which were normally more reserved and small, but this one could put a diamond to shame from how valuable it was. “Not gonna lie, you can be pretty adorable~” she teased, chuckling when the samurai let out a flustered groan.
Looks like there’d be only tricks during this spooky month, not that Kazuha minded.

it was only days after their contract had been made that kinich asked the question.
"why did you choose that form?" the cave is silent, almost, aside from the crackling flames they're using for light. if not for such quiet, ajaw probably wouldn't have been able to even hear the question, the younger kinich's voice so timid.
"huh?" ajaw pauses, turns from where he's busily munching on a quenepa berry.
kinich isn't eating, knees to his chest as he stares at the ground. he's too damn thin; his body will be of no use to ajaw if it's going to be so weak. "i know you can't go back to your real form, but why this?" he draws aimless shapes in the dirt with his finger. "a human form would be more convenient, wouldn't it?"
"stop with the questions," ajaw grumbles, taking another bite. kinich obeys.
a minute later, ajaw breaks the silence again. "it's more convenient. uses less phlogiston." he sighs. "to think the great k'uhul ajaw has been reduced to this..."
kinich says nothing for a moment. "so, you could change forms if you want?" he finally looks up. "what does your human form look like?"
ajaw scoffs at that. "ha! like i'd show you. maybe one day, if you're not dead yet."
that day came one rainy night when kinich was stuck in bed, burning with a fever, and it was much easier to care for him with real hands. though maybe care isn't accurate, because ajaw doesn't care about kinich's wellbeing. he just doesn't want his future body to be so frail.
similar situations remain the only times kinich has seen ajaw's human form. he never says anything, but ajaw can always feel him staring. it doesn't come as a huge surprise when kinich, one day, specifically asks for ajaw's human body.
ajaw sprawls out on kinich's bed, closing his eyes with a sigh. this form feels more comfortable than his usual one, but at the cost of more of his strength. he flexes his fingers, runs them through his messy blond hair. kinich sits on the edge of the bed, watching silently. then, suddenly, he reaches out.
"what the hell are you doing?!" ajaw jumps away, sitting up, rubbing his arm where kinich had just touched. kinich's hand is frozen in the air, and he blinks.
"your skin feels real."
"huh?" ajaw rolls his eyes. "of course it does. what were you expecting?"
kinich crawls closer, reaching his hand out again, but this time, ajaw lets him. "more...synthetic?" he runs his fingers along the green marking's on ajaw's skin, up the insides of his arms until ajaw slaps him away.
"cut that out," he demands, not liking the oddly tingling feeling that follows kinich's touch.
but when has kinich ever listened to him?
ajaw discovered long ago the unfortunate reality; that with a human body comes human weakness. his sharp fangs have pierced the inside of his lip a few too many times. human bodies are so damn fragile. this, though? it's new. it's uncomfortably foreign, and suddenly he understands why kinich never lets ajaw touch his neck.
"agh! what the fuck!" he tries to escape from the hands squeezing the sides of his waist, but kinich has always been faster.
"if only you could stay in this form all the time," kinich muses to himself, making quick work of turning ajaw into a shrieking, laughing wreck. "this seems effective at reigning you in."
"k-kihinich!" ajaw screeches, head tossed back, electric shocks shooting up his body. "stohohop this ahat ohohonce!"
but, as usual, kinich doesn't listen.

The chase
Hi guys, I am madly in love with this character. And guess what, this is Naruto and Sasuke'a VA! In Japanese. I seriously wrote this tk fic as they speak in Japanese. Omg! I love them even more. Ps. We need more lee!kinich... I summon it!
Summary: Paimon is convinced Kinich is scary, but Aether thinks otherwise. It was a quiet day in Natalan until Aether started a bet with Paimon to prove her wrong. New discoveries were made, and unsurprisingly, a certain dragon lord commits betrayal.
Warning: Spoilers for the nataln archon quest and Kinich's quest, tickling, cuteness overload, Aether and Kinich are very close, but mind you, it's a platonic relationship (can't ship them yet)
"So you Paimon is supposed to believe that Kinich is actually... uh... a sweetheart?" Paimon crossed her arms in confusion. Floating around as Aether walked through the city of mountains, the scion of the canopy.
Aether shrugs, giving her a confident smirk "Well... he may appear blank but he's very nice and he doesn't hide it... not like a certain wanderer ..."
Paimon guessed Hat guy from Sumeru might have sneezed by that mention.
"But he's so cold and Paimon can't really see the guy smile..." Paimon huffs now, as if its the biggest worries for her, "its frightening how blank Kinich is..."
"What's frightening about me Paimon?"
A soft voice made Paimon shrill in surprise making her gasp and wheeze. Aether mildly turns back with a less-reactive surprised expression at seeing the saurian hunter.
"Hi Kinich,"
Kinich greets them politely, "Traveler, Paimon how do u do?"
Paimon recovering from her shock, groans, "Jeez Paimon almost got a heart attack! Stop sneaking up on us like that... your quiet anyway unlike your pixel-poop-mouth!"
Ajaw snarls, "Who are you calling poop-mouth, tiny ant?"
"Oh and Paimon's bigger than you!"
They continue bickering making Aether sheepishly give Kinich an apologetic look, "Sorry about that..."
"I should be the one to apologise..." kinich replies solemnly, making Aether like this guy more for his awkward informal side.
"Ajaw, do you want another time out?"
Ajaw turns to kinich, his mouth dropping in anguish. "Grrr! Fine, fine! I won't torment the anaemic ant!"
"Hehe" Paimon smirks. "Know your place little dragon lord!"
Aether rolls his eyes, "Paimon... behave"
Paimon pouts, looking sideways, "awww alright im sorry Kinich... and maybe Ajaw"
"Maybe??"
Ignoring Ajaw's short snap, Kinich shakes his head, a hand to his chest. "Don't be Paimon. You're actually a kind companion to the traveller..." he adds deliberately after casting a look at Ajaw, "It makes me jealous"
"Huh? I'm more powerful ya know! Oi! Kinich!"
Aether hears Paimon floating towards Kinich, "Kinich, you don't smile much, do you?"
Kinich slightly astonished responds, "I beg your pardon? I do..."
"When?" Partly challenging and partly curious.
"Like... right now?"
They all stared. Even Kinich seemed uncertain about what he just said. Paimon huffs, mildly irritated, "OK so... laughing? Ever dont that before..."
Ajaw floats around Kinich, his pixel hands patting his shoulder, "Haa hahaa would love to see that embarassing sight."
Kinich shrugs him off, the bandana making him seem like he's angry but he's just frustrated with Ajaw.
"All the more reason why I should not"
Ajaw being slightly pushed away but regains balance in air comes swirling back to him with a cunning sneer, "Uh oh someone's a little defensive... afraid I'll exploit a weakness?"
Aether sense tension, usually he would've stepped in to stop Kinich's discomfort with Ajaw but knowing the topic he was curious where this was going.
Paimon is no better now - contrast to Ajaw's scheming malice - she steps in to prompt Ajaw's hint, "Oooh does this mean he does laugh?"
Kinich folds his arms, somewhat wary where this was going. Yet he failed to notice where Ajaw just disappeared.
"I do, but not all the time -"
"Yeah, just poke him like this, and he'll go gyaaahaahaa!" Ajaw swiftly pokes Kinich around the waist close to the small of his back, making him spasm in shock, gasping, "Oi!"
Silence. Paimon's eyes widened, and so did Aether's. They all exchanged glances. Now Ajaw proudly danced and shook his tail, as if he got the best victory after 500 years.
"Kinich?" Aether smirks, now barely hiding his excitement, "Are you ticklish?"
The saurian hunter now stared, knowing there's no other way to dodge the question. He swiftly seized Ajaw's tail, now activating his grappling hook. He swings off till he disappeared through the clouds.
His flight instincts kicked in. Paimon stared in bewilderment, but she was the only one until Aether began to take the one-sided challenge.
Somewhere by the top of the mountains in Scion of the canopy, Kinich cautiously looked by the trees, hoping he had escaped. He knew now or never... and his experience in running away has been helpful.
"Baa! You coward..." Ajaw scoffed, now teasing, "Were you that scared?"
"It was not fright... I just don't like the thought of showing the traveller such an absurd state" he sternly added "and you're officially in time out"
Ajaw grumbled now, waving his small pixel arms "Grr... whatever, but you know Kinich"
"What?"
"Running away doesn't always help ya... when there's a good seeker"
He frowns, looking somewhat confused by this indirect analogy. "What do you-?"
"Gotcha!" Aether swings by instantly now tackling (not on purpose) Kinich as they both tumbled to the ground.
"J-jeez traveller be careful" Kinich groan, now sounding concerned. "Don't use that hook, so lightly"
Aether chuckles straddling him. "Thanks your a nice guy... now ever heard of the saying "you can run but you can't hide" Kinich?"
Before he could struggle he already felt nimble fingers attacking his sides.
"O-ohokay w-wahait tihihihime ohohout!"
His giggles are soft and yet very childish. Aether stares in wonder... he had heard many sweet voices but hearing Kinich like this is like a dream in Nahida's world.
"Wow.. you're sensitive, Ajaw wasn't lying"
Ajaw smirks "Hehe that was one of the weaknesses that I'm proud of exploiting in him"
"You mean the only one?" Paimon scoffs.
"Ah! Took you long enough useless ant"
"You! You pixel weirdo!" Paimon stomps her foot on the air angrily and begins bickering with Ajaw.
Kinich and Aether... well they have other better matters to attend to.
"So tell me, is this spot worse than this?" His fingers creeping towards his hips making him buck in surprise, grabbing Aether's wrists which didn't help, "Ah! Aether!"
"You said my name! Nice!" He gets his hips and then back to his waist... slipping the jacket down a little bit to access the skin.
"Ahaharchons juhuhuhust stohohohop a mihihinute plehehehehease!" Kinich curls to the side, suddenly his laughter getting louder when Aether targets his ribs with swift unpredictable speed.
"Uh oh ribs? That's not good... especially since your swinging around..." Aether smirks, now tapping and prodding his ribs as Kinich jerks to his back to protect his sides. His long lashes damp with tears.
"And you won't be able to swing comfortable knowing how vulnerable here..." he pinches the highest set ribs with indication "Oh and perhaps under here?" Slipping his fingers right under his arms making Kinich let an (honest to archon) a squeak.
"You're a sweetheart"
"Ihihihi ahahahahappreciahahahate the cohohohompliment buhuhuhut y-yohohohour kihihilling mehehe!" He giggles now. Trying to cover his worst spots as much as he could.
Aether laughed, now pausing a little, instead keeping his wrists pinned on either side of Kinich's head to keep him in anticipation.
"OK ok! Sorry, I always had to break the serious guys in this world."
Kinich groans, slightly huffs of laughter now calming down at the small break.
"Ajaw said Kinich has a weak neck!"
Paimon's sudden outburst on that fact made Kinich shiver. Aether turns to her first then back at him, a very mischievous smile that made Kinich shake his head a little, somewhat pitiful.
"Tch! The mighty dragon lord knows what a whimp he is but he still refuses to die.. bahahawahaha" Ajaw cackles in a sinister tone "Oh laugh to death Kinich!"
Aether rolls his eyes, "we are not killing him, just playing around... like friends"
Kinich's eyes that used to be blank slightly glistened with brightness, "Friends?"
"Yup and friends... make friends happy!" Aether wiggles his fingers right over his collarbone and throat lightly. Kinich knees kicked up in reflex, but they didn't stop Aether's fiery determination to tickle him.
"Ahaha Aetheheheher hehehee cuhuhuhut ihihit out! Hahaha ok ok y-yohohohou won! You won! Ok! Just mehehehercy! Mercy!
After that implore, Aether stopped tearfully laughing as well, falling next to Kinich, eyes bright golden and with bliss, "ohoho man that was so funny... im glad I saw this side of you..."
Kinich's breath was somewhat heavier as he managed to grab his composure swiftly as an amazing athlete "I-I uh... thank you traveler... I guess it wasn't that bad"
Ajaw growls, "Awwww, come on! I bet if you got his armpits more seriously next, he might not say that! Come on, traveler, I'm begging ya! Tickle this guy to death -g-gaaaaaaah curseeeee youuuu!"
Once more he just got confined into a space suddenly gone. Kinich sighs as he puts Ajaw away easily, resting an arm over his hip as he gets up now tired but somewhat... relaxed?
"Hey Kinich..."
He jolts when Aether poked his armpit that was exposed, making him stare in surprise "That's round two the next time we meet? And don't listen to Ajaw... tickling isn't something bad... its what friends do to have fun"
Kinich silently debated this answer... smiling genuinely. Perhaps Mualani was right... friends are amazing.
"Well come by traveler... its much livelier here with you around" Kinich offers, now giving an awkward smile.
"Aww miss me already?" Aether grins, then nudged him, "or the tickles"
"Just... you" he grunts, but looking sideways, with a timid look that seemed to have never appeared until today.
Aether will cherish that moment forever and also his laugh.
