#genshin impact beidou angst
Text
What happens when someone hurts Beidou? Ningguang wants to hurt the person who did it. Espesically this time.
ship: beidou × ningguang word count: 1.2k warnings: mentions of r*pe, mentions of getting beidou getting drugged, cussing, crying lots of crying, Ningguang calls Beidou baby a lot, breast sucking as beidou falls asleep because she is still crying content: hurt-comfort, angst summary: Beidou ends up getting drugged while she is out in Inazuma. She ends up sexually assaulted. When she gets back to Liyue, Ningguang notices that Beidou is acting weird. When Beidou is making breakfast for them Ningguang hugs her from behind and that’s hen Beidou breaks down. note: I am truly sorry Beidou.
Beidou just got off her ship, basically running away from it since she was in it having drinks. She wished this never happened to her, it hurt knowing that it did happen to her. As she walked into her and Ningguang’s house she realized her girlfriend wasn’t home at the time. She changed into something more comfortable she layed down on the bed and tried taking a nap.
Luckily it only took an hour or two to actually get to sleep, which was progress from the last few times since her se*ual assault. It had been days since she had actually slept due to waking up to having nightmares. This time was no different. Beidou woke up in a puddle of sweat so she gets up and goes to the bathroom and takes a shower. The water that hit her skin felt nice since it was the first shower that she had had since she was in Inazuma. The water that h her skin made her think that the water was washing away his touches. The touches that she did not want but since she was drugged she couldn’t stop him. She washed her body carefully so that she could get out and put clothes on since the SA has her not wanting to be naked for a long period of time since she was naked for such a long time while being attacked. After getting out of the shower she dried her hair and ended up looking into the mirror for a long time. Such a long time that she didn’t realize when she started crying. When she came out of her zoned out state she realized that she was crying. Beidou quickly dried up her tears before going to her and Ningguang’s room and putting some clothes on. She didn’t know when Ninguang would be getting home so she made herself something to eat despite her not wanting any food or to take care of herself. She made herself some Cream Stew since she found it easy to make and she needed to make herself something to eat and because it's good. As she was waiting for her food to finish cooking she layed in the floor staring at the ceiling. When the timer goes off she slowly pushes herself off the floor and puts her food in a bowl. She sat at the dining table with her bowl of Cream Stew then went and grabbed herself a glass of water. Once she finished eating she went back to her and Ningguang’s room to lay down. After she layed down it didn’t take her long to fall asleep tucked away in bed not really excited to see her girlfriend due to what happened. Beidou was in such a deep sleep for once that she didn’t even hear when Ningguang came home and showered then went to bed. When she woke up she felt an arm around her waist which made her panic and shoot out of the bed. Once she realized it was only Ningguang she went to the living room to calm her nerves down and to get a drink of water. She sat on the floor in front of the refrigerator as she drank her water. After she finished her water she started making herself something to eat as it was around 8 in the morning and she was hungry from sleeping quite a long time and having an early dinner. While looking in the pantry to find something to make she felt hands wrap around her waist which made her scream and pull away eyes filling with tears as Ninguang pulled Beidou into a hug and telling her it was just her. “Shhh baby its just me. Why are you so jumpy?” she asked jokingly, kissing the side of Beidou’s head. Beidou started sobbing loudly as she sank to the floor bringing Ningguang down with her. She continues to cry while tightly holding onto Ningguang. Luckily Ningguang dosen’t ask any questions as she just wants her girlfriend to calm down and to stop crying before she makes herself sick. ‘Ning he hurt me” Beidou sobbed as she tightly gripped onto Ningguang. To say that NIngguang was shocked to hear this from Beidou was an understatement, “Who hurt you baby?” Ningguang asked, petting the crying woman's head while holding her close. “The man that drugged me” She cried out as she basically sat completely on Ningguang. Ningguang sighed as she finally got what happened “oh baby, I'm sorry. Do you need me to do anything?” Ningguang asked as she kissed the crying woman before tears gathered in her own eyes as she realized just how much the man hurt her baby. Beidou pulled away from Ningguang so she could wipe her tears but when she seen Ningguang had tears going down her face. Beidou hugged Ningguang again then sobbed into her shoulder “please don’t leave me” she said while crying into her shoulder. Ningguang sighed then pulled away slightly to look at Beidou in the eyes “I have no reason to leave you baby, it wasn’t your fault. It will never be your fault” Ningguang said, as she pressed a million kisses, Beidou's tears off of her cheeks. Beidou giggles tiredly while she continues to cry. “I will never leave you” Ningguang says again before pulling her into a hug again before pulling both of them up off the ground. “I will make us food and you will sit on the counter and watch me” Ningguang said jokingly before picking Beidou up and setting her onto the counter so that Beidou could watch her and help her if he wants Beidou continues to cry as Ningguang makes breakfast for them both. Every chance that Beidou got she hugged NIngguang wanting to make sure the man's touches were gone but she knew that she would always remember the man’s touches. Once the food was done Ningguang plated some for both of them and they ate. Beidou did eat as she cried and held Ningguang’s hand. After they ate their pancakes Beidou was still crying as she kept remembering everything that happened. Ningguang just let her cry, making sure that she drank water here and there so that she wouldn’t end up hurting her throat and being extremely dehydrated.  Beidou let Ningguang take her plate as she was finished. She watched Ningguang wash the dishes for a second before going into their room and laying down. Once Ningguang finished the dishes she went to their room and seen Beidou laying down holding her pillow as tears rolled down her face. “Oh baby” Ningguang said, laying down beside her and pulling her close so she could try and calm down. She seen how Beidou was struggling to keep her eyes open as tears occasionally fell down her face, “Do you want me to take my shirt off?” Ningguang asked as she played with Beidou’s hair. She knew that Beidou liked to suck on her boobs as she fell asleep, especially when she is upset when she first gets home. Beidou nods and Ningguang takes her shirt off leaving her in sweatpants. Her mouth immediately went to Ningguang’s nipple and sucked on it, closing her eyes in contentment. Ningguang’s hand went to Beidou’s head again, playing with her hair. She knew that it wouldn’t take long for Beidou to go to sleep since she had been crying and upset. As Ningguang watched Beidou she felt herself getting tired as she had also cried. She quickly fell asleep while watching Beidou while holding her close so she knew that Ningguang wouldn’t do anything to her and she wouldn’t leave her.

SO WE NEVER SAW THE START
synopsis: love just isn’t always permanent. or, in other words, the reason why you and them broke up.
characters: diluc, beidou, kujou sara, kazuha, ayaka, dehya, dottore, and childe x gn!reader (separately)
warnings: angst, hurt (no comfort), breakups
notes: this is like my second full angst piece which i’m writing because a lot of people don’t like that i rarely do full angst 👍 also i was gonna include zhongli since i haven’t written for him since july, but it was his birthday recently so i spared him.
(part two)
Tumblr media
diluc:
he’s too caught up in himself
not necessarily in a selfish or egotistical way, but more in a too independent way. it’s like he has no room for you in his life
between bar tending, running the winery, acting as the dark knight, and just his overall distant personality, there just isn’t much love to give
he loves you. he really does. it’s just he can’t express it in a sufficient enough way to make you feel loved
he doesn’t realize it either until it’s too late
it hurts him when you come to him one night crying silent tears with a broken expression on your face
“i’m so sorry, diluc.”
“why? what’s wrong? are you okay?”
“i just can’t do this anymore.”
beidou:
you two were just too different
you lead different lives. she loved the sea, you didn’t.
while you enjoyed the occasional boat ride, you couldn’t stand to actually live on it
and because she was away so often, it put distance between the two of you. distance far too great for your heart to handle
letters weren’t enough. souvenirs from different nations weren’t enough. only seeing her every few weeks wasn’t enough
and it hurt you to have to always kiss her goodbye at the docks or have to constantly ask when you would see her again
the next time she showed up at the docks, you weren’t there. the only thing she would ever see from of you again, was one final letter
if she wanted distance, she could have it
kujou sara:
her obsession with the raiden shogun was too much for you to handle
at first, it was fine. you actually admired her dedication to her and found it quite honorable
but over time, it was becoming more and more unbearable
raiden shogun this and raiden shogun that
it began to seem like she cared more about the shogun than you
honestly, did she love you or did she love the shogun?
it put distance between you two, something you had hoped would never happen. but deep down you knew it was inevitable
someone with admiration so deep, you knew she was bound to lose herself within it
and in doing so, she lost you too
kazuha:
like beidou, his life was far too different from yours
he couldn’t settle for just one thing, one place, one life
he always seemed to want more
it was just so irritating sometimes
he loved you, truly. he loved being with you all the time. loved every detail about you. but it always meant that you had to follow him on his adventures
sometimes it felt selfish
couldn’t he realize you had a life too? one that you couldn’t just drop and leave behind at any moment?
you were bound to what you had built for yourself and he was seemingly bound to nothing
a genuinely free soul
if only your relationship could’ve been bound to something too
ayaka:
it was mutual
ayaka was often busy. and when she wasn’t busy, she was spending needed time by herself
and whether by herself or with others, she had an important image to keep up — one that didn’t quite fit you
she just wasn’t ready for a relationship, and you understood that
you also had things going on in your life
luckily it wasn’t too far into the relationship, so it wasn’t awkward, emotional, or even painful
she was also one of the only lovers you had stayed friends with afterward
dehya:
there was a mix of reasons why it had ended
for one, work seemed to get in the way of your relationship quite frequently
it didn’t help that you were from the rainforest and she was from the desert
with you being an akademiya worker and her being a mercenary, you hardly saw each other at all
the nighttime was the only time you ever really got to see each other
having to spend all your time at night wasn’t fun for either of you
not to mention, she hated the rainforest’s humidity and overall climate. and you couldn’t stand the dry wind and constant heat of the desert
in the end, you both preferred your days as just being friends. and thus, the breakup was entirely mutual
dottore:
it was a difficult breakup for sure
as a fellow harbinger, you saw him all the time. so distance was never a problem.
you were surprised he was even interested in you at all, but much to your surprise, even the doctor had a soft side
but alas, you were never number one in his life. that spot was reserved for his experiments
dealing with his lies, his clones, his experiments…even for another harbinger it was far too much to handle. as powerful as you were, you were still only human
when you had finally voiced all of this to him and told him you wanted to breakup, you hadn’t gotten the reaction you wanted
in fact, he hadn’t given you a reaction at all
deep down, he was actually very upset over it. but his personality was far too much of a mask to ever reveal his true emotions to the world
childe:
he was too playful, too reckless, too selfish
but even through all of that, he was still someone you loved
that’s why it was hard to let him go. but day after day, you felt yourself worrying too much
stress would eat away at your skin and your thoughts. eventually, the cons outweighed the pros
your love for him was not as great as your stress was — at least, it became this way by the end of it all
dealing with his injuries was too frequent. not to mention the constant arguments and his provocative personality
what if he comes home too injured one night? god, what if he didn’t come back at all?
you didn’t know what you would do with yourself. and even worse, he didn’t seem to care. countless times you would tell him all of this, ask him to be more careful, but he just wouldn’t listen
“i’m done, childe. i can’t take it anymore. you’re hurting me as much as you’re hurting yourself, and i’m not even a harbinger.”

sworn on the stars ~ prologue - genshin impact // sagau // imposter au
01 02
summary: to know the one protected by the stars is to know the blessings of the very world we traverse on. to betray them is to turn our backs on the very notion peace.
ie. they say that with every terrible storm comes a rainbow infinitely more beautiful than the trials that one leaves behind. let’s test that theory, shall we?
————————————
You were tired of it all.
Perhaps you had used up all of your fortune in another life, or the universe simply held some sort of grudge against your soul. Either way, you found yourself sick and tired of everything that had happened in the last few years.
First came the death of your beloved parents. The ones who had tried to raise you with so much love until they were cruelly taken away by the hands of death. They’d left you with enough fortune to sustain yourself for the rest of your days.
Then came the new ones. The ones who had turned your life into a real Cinderella story, though this peasant would never meet their prince. The ones who had subjected you to so much abuse that you had nearly become numb to it all.
You’d moved from household to household throughout most of your life. The ones who were kind to you always met misfortune, and the ones who were cruel always seemed to have gotten caught far too late.
Five years ago, you became so dreadfully ill that no other family was willing to take you in, not even if you had offered them money to do so. It felt as though the world was rejecting your very being, like it had finally had enough of you being around. Your body gradually shut down, despite your youth. The doctors could not diagnose you, for there was nothing that seemed to be wrong.
Except everything was wrong. You could feel your life fading, though you were never one to care much about the prospect of death. You’d just assumed it would’ve come later.
In the worst moments of your life, you’d come across a game called Genshin Impact. You’d come across it just before it’s official release: the new and hyped up game from Mihoyo that would soon have its’ players entranced.
Perhaps you were desperate for another outlet. You were a smart child, yet there never seemed to be enough media in this world to properly stimulate your mind. Storybooks had stopped bringing new adventure into your life. In the world of academics, you had studied nearly everything that you could possibly get your hands on up until the end of secondary school.
You wanted to immerse yourself in a world where you could be free to walk and run and perhaps find something of interest. To finally reacquire that spark in you that had been lost so long ago.
‘An open-world game, huh? Might as well give it a shot.’
And so you did. And you’d fallen in love for the first time in your life. With the characters and the story, for they always did bring excitement into your dreary days. But most of all, it was with the world you had explored. There was always something new to catch your interest when you were in Teyvat, and you’d gradually grown fond of the characters behind the screen. They were life your family.
Sometimes, the people of your world would forget about your existence. You’d started as an anomaly of the medical world, but as the years passed you became nothing more than a forgotten presence that once had meaning; a myth.
As the game updated each time, you were always eager to indulge for the characters with the money you knew you’d never be able to use otherwise. When you wear Teyvat, all felt right with the world, as if a dirty fog had been cleared from your mind.
Those days, when you were left alone in your very own hospital room, you’d pull up the character’s voice lines and speak back to them, or absentmindedly run throughout the regions.
Sometimes you imagined being able to comfort Zhongli and Xiao, old souls that had gone through so much throughout their long lives. You dreamed about exploring the vast seas with Beidou and her crew. Wishing about visiting the city of freedom and feeling the wind on your face as Amber instructs you on how to use a glider. Wanting to visit the beautiful city of Inazuma and bring relief to all those that had needed it.
But those were merely the dreams- perhaps even delusions- of a person nearing the end of their life. The years had passed, and many regions had become unlocked since you had begun. But now, you could barely stand to open your eyes, let alone admire the beautiful scenery in Teyvat.
‘Soon I’ll be gone from this sorry room, I guess. I just wish I could be in that world one last time.’
You silently thanked the stars for the last few years, dreadful as they were.
And so the young soul was taken too soon. Their body was taken by death, but their soul? Their soul was taken by another world entirely.
But perhaps this world isn’t so new as one might think. Maybe, just maybe, the world would help you solve the mysteries of your life, just as you had helped build it up from the very beginning.

Note
ok but what if traveler took reader away from arle and gave her a room in their teapot👁 and then she met the most random person imaginable?
Tumblr media
While traveler picks out a safe place for you, they made you stay at their teapot temporarily.
Which is when you found…
Beidou!
A lively captain, with their other title as ‘The Uncrowned Lord of the Ocean’!
She became very close with you because of her extroverted and joyful personality, even striking up conversations with you the second you stepped inside the place.
You two were like peas in a pod, never leaving each other’s side.
That is when Beidou was not on her ship, so sometimes she’ll be gone for months.
But she'll make it up!

Whumptober day 4 with Beidou!
Prompt: "I can see the danger, it's written there in your eyes."
Whumptober masterlist
Summary: Sometimes Beidou worries about the jobs you go on as an agent of the Tianquan.
Warnings: death and corpses
Tumblr media
Life as one of the Tianquan’s agents was never easy.
You knew this when you accepted the position.
Your lover Beidou also knew this.
When Ningguang offered you the job, you and the pirate had a discussion about what it would mean for the two of you.
Considering Beidou also works closely with Ningguang, you decided it would be fine. Ningguang agreed to make as many of your assignments place you wherever Beidou would be, while Yelan handled the other jobs.
It worked out great- You and Beidou got to stay together and work together for Liyue’s most powerful figure, and you both got great pay, plus you got to keep the best job you’ve ever had.
However, despite often working jobs that Beidou could help with, being a secret operative for the Tinquan would always have its risks.
Occasionally, you’d receive a confidential mission from Ningguang. Ones you can’t tell Beidou about.
Beidou knows this, and she’s usually fine with letting you go for a few weeks to handle whatever needs to be handled.
Unless the job poses considerable concern for your wellbeing. Which was almost all of them.
After a few too many missions resulting with new scars adorning your body, Beidou started insisting she came with you to complete your missions.
You know she can’t go with you. She knows too.
But she can’t stand the days waiting for your return, wondering if you’ll come back at all, not even knowing where to search for your corpse should it come to it.
She knows she can’t go with you, but every time she asks all the same.
Now, you’ve resorted to not telling her about missions.
It hurts, and you feel guilty, but it’s the only way to fulfil your mission on time without Beidou relentlessly asking to go with you.
That brings us to now…
You had been given what you would call your most dangerous mission yet.
You were preparing to leave immediately, leaving a note for Beidou informing her of your departure and an estimated time for your return.
You didn’t manage to get very far before your lover in question stopped you.
"Leaving for another mission just like that darling? Not even a goodbye?"
You stay facing away from her.
"Is it dangerous?"
You don't answer her.
"Is it more dangerous than others?"
You don't answer again.
A silence that seems to stretch on for hours fills the air.
She grabs you and turns you around to face her, looking you in the eyes.
"I can see the danger, it's written there in your eyes."
Before you can open your mouth to speak, she continues
"There's something different about this mission isn't there? It's going to be even more perilous than the last. Please love, you have to let me go with you."
Her eyes plead with you as her grip on your shoulders tighten.
"Beidou... you know you can't. Ningguang can't this information to be known-."
"I don't give a damn!"
You mouth falls agape. You had never heard Beidou even remotely disagree with Ningguang.
"I couldn't care less if Ningguang sends an army to kill me, I'll do anything to protect the person I love dammit!"
You think you see tears forming in the corner of Beidou's eye, but you look away before you see them fall.
".. I'm sorry Beidou."
You walk out the door, ignoring Beidou's calls.
"Please!" You she ran to you and grabbed your elbow, pulling her into you.
You could feel her desperation seeping into your bones.
"Even if you go I'll follow you!"
You let out a dry chuckle at that. You both know damn well she wouldn't be able to.
You were a trained agent who's skill set was designed for stealth opperations. She wouldn't be able to follow you.
She's just trying to comfort herself.
And maybe you too.
"Again... I'm sorry Beidou.. I love you."
You shake her off and this time she doesn't go after you.
By the time she's out of her melancholic gaze, you're too far away to hear her whisper.
"I love you too..."
You'll never get to know how much she regrets not telling you when you could hear.
She carried that regret with her for months...
She kept telling herself she'll tell you the second she sees you again.
Even after 7 months...
8 months...
12 months....
it was 15 months before Beidou saw you again.
"I love you."
You never got to hear her say it.
But hey, at least your remains did...
Tumblr media
note: I didn't mean for that ending to be so macabre... sorry guys</3

Telling them “Only after meeting you did I discover that it is so simple to be happy.”
Genre: fluff, a little angst on Xiao's part, established relationship
Characters: Beidou, Amber, Xiao
Tumblr media
Beidou:
She doesn't understand How can a simple phrase carry so much meaning? So many swears? That make the strong tides of her mind calm. That make her strong heart finally ease?...
Maybe she'll never understand, maybe she'll always feel, but she sure as hell won't forget.
And now she has a triumphant smile, like a pirate's when he finds his long-awaited lost treasure.
After a few seconds of silence, she said " Hahaha… I've been making a contract with myself every day, saying to make you happy. Now I'm finally sure that I fulfilled it well"
Tumblr media
Amber:
Red cheeks. Heart almost out of mouth. eyes looking for something
Oh my Archon Amber's gears have stopped
At that moment she was on the verge of thinking that it was a dream, an illusion, a utopia…but it wasn't
BUT IT WAS NOT
It was real life and you were there truly saying words Amber would never get tired of hearing.
Ah~ she wanted so much to scream how much she loved you but unfortunately she held back
"Since the day I looked at you I thought the same thing''
Tumblr media
Xiao:
At first, Xiao would call anyone who said those words a fool, but not you.
Because you are the one who puts up with him every day, who teaches him, who consoles him, who kisses him, who loves him, who shows him every day that life is not just the past, that its meaning is not just hunting to the demons that surround Liyue, who understands him. Who does everything for himself without being openly reciprocated.
''And even after all that effort, are you happy?'' he thinks with dark clouds cluttering his head
The only thing he can do now is thank you
''Thank you…thank you so much….I love you…'' he says without the courage to look you in the eye

Reminders of Existence
Pairing: Beidou x Ningguang
Tags: Angst with a Happy Ending, Angst, Epic Battles, Vaginal Fingering, Oral Sex, Injury Recovery, Banter, Injury, Dildos, Biting, Spanking
Summary:
When Beidou is seriously injured protecting the children of Liyue during an epic battle with a fearsome sea serpent, Ningguang is devastated. In a desperate plea for her to wake up, she says something she maybe shouldn't have. After Beidou wakes up, the two remind each other of what it truly means to be alive.
Read on Ao3
It was a busy day as usual in Liyue. The hustle and bustle of people roaming the streets buying from merchants and making their way to various restaurants was typical for the port city.
Ningguang sat in her chambers overlooking the city. She gazed out at the water as Captain Beidou’s ship bobbed among the waves. Thinking about the rendezvous, or rather, “business meeting,” they had planned for that night, visions of Beidou’s strong arms wrapped tightly around her waist while pressing her up against the wall flashed in her mind. The Tianquan shook her head to rid herself of such thoughts and returned to the stack of papers before her.
Beidou, on the other hand, stood on the deck of her ship looking up towards the beautiful floating structure in which Ningguang sat. She’d never tell her this, but she enjoyed being a guest at the Jade Chamber as much as she loved sailing the seas. Or was it more just being with her?
She thought of stolen kisses and breathless nights, the sweet sound of Ningguang moaning her name over and over. As Beidou stood lost in thought, she sensed the wind pick up and gave orders to close the sails so they didn’t drift away to Inazuma.
On the dock Beidou could see three children, Little Lulu, Little Meng, and Little Fei, playing out by Liyue Harbor. They always made their way onto one of the docked boats and pretended to be pirates, often recreating one of the many stories of the courageous Captain Beidou.
Usually, at least one adult would be out there watching them. However, on this day, the three snuck onto the boat without anyone noticing…even after they were told to stay away when the winds picked up for their safety.
A strong gust howled and whipped through Liyue. The boat the children were playing on suddenly freed itself from the dock and quickly made its way out to sea. Headed straight for the massive wall of waves that would easily swallow such a small ship, the children screamed for help, catching Beidou’s attention.
Without thinking, she jumped off the ship into one of the smaller boats, her crewmate Sea Drake right behind her. The two made their way to the children as quickly as they could. When they finally reached them, they pulled each onto the boat right before a wave swallowed the vessel whole.
“What were you kids thinking!? It’s much too dangerous for you to be out here today,” Captain Beidou reprimanded.
“We’re sorry! We only wanted to play,” the three of them said in unison, tears pouring from their eyes.
Captain Beidou sighed. “Alright, we’re gonna head back in and tow what’s left of this boat with us,” she said as she patted their heads.
They had started to make their way back to shore but were completely unaware of what lurked beneath the surface of the choppy waves. The commotion of the kids yelling for help had captured the attention of something sinister. As Beidou stood at the back of the boat, she noticed the normally crystal-clear water had turned dark.
A shadow bigger than the Alcor herself emerged from beneath. It rocked the boat back and forth before rising from the deep: A sea serpent with teeth sharp as a blade stared right back at them.
“Oh shit!” Beidou whispered under her breath.
The creature bashed its head into the boat, forcing everyone to hang on for dear life. The serpent let out an ear-splitting screech before repeating the action once again. This time, Captain Beidou was launched overboard with a splash. The monster followed after her. She swam as fast as she could back toward the boat when the serpent popped its head out of the water, crashing against her.
One of its bottom teeth slashed her head, causing blood to run down her face and completely obscure her vision in her left eye. She waded in the water as she tried to catch her bearings. The creature once again lunged at Beidou but missed and quickly darted behind her. The tell-tale scent of iron drove it mad. From behind, it latched onto Beidou’s shoulder and pulled her under. A patch of crimson bloomed in the deep blue. Attempting to scare the monster off, Beidou’s crew shot off warning flairs.
The Jade Chamber was jolted by the sudden, loud booms echoing off the walls. Ningguang jumped from her seat to the window to survey the source of the ruckus just in time to see Beidou dragged to the depths of the ocean. She threw her hand to her mouth and gasped.
The crew stilled their firing, waiting to determine the fate of their captain. A ripple formed at the water’s surface before the serpent emerged once more. Beidou hung from her claymore lodged in its side before crashing back into the sea.
It was now eerily calm. The waves slowed, the wind died down, and the water became still once more. The crew waited in silence as they stared at the blood-stained surface, their faces reflecting back at them like a gruesome mirror. In the distance, Beidou clung unmoving to the wooden remains of the smaller vessel that had been torn apart.
The crew quickly made its way to her, carefully dragged her aboard, and headed back to Liyue as fast as the ship would carry them. Having watched the entire battle play out, Ningguang rushed through the city streets to meet them at the harbor. Her heart felt like it was going to rip itself out of her chest as she made her way through the crowd of on-lookers.
The ship pulled into the harbor, and a few crew members carried Beidou out on a makeshift stretcher. Ningguang ran to her, looking at the damage in absolute horror. There was no doubt Beidou would never see out of her left eye again. Her shoulder was torn to shreds and her leg had undoubtedly seen better days.
“Lady Ningguang, the surgeon of the ship doesn’t have what we need to care for her,” one of the crew members stated hastily.
Turning to one of her assistants, she ordered, “Fetch Baizhu, now! Go! Hurry!” The young woman ran as fast as her legs would carry her toward Babu Pharmacy.
Beidou was brought to the Jade Chamber and placed in Ningguang’s private suite. When Baizhu arrived, he used his medicinal arts on her, and, with the help of the crew’s doctor, was miraculously able to patch her up. The two exited the room to inform everyone of the captain’s condition.
“She’s lost a lot of blood and there’s no saving her eye. The other injuries should heal by the end of the week with continued magic infusions. She’ll be sporting some major scars here and there, but I think we are past the worst of it. However, we can’t be sure how long it’ll be before she wakes,” Baizhu said, the ship’s surgeon nodding alongside him.
Ningguang turned to the crew. “I’ll ensure she gets the best care mora can buy. Let her rest here. You should all go and get some sleep as well. I’ll send notice if anything changes. The ship’s doctor, Yinxing, is, of course, welcome as often as needed. If any of you need anything at all, please let me know and my assistants will be at your beck and call.”
As the remaining members of the crew took their leave, Ningguang closed her chamber doors and made her way to Beidou’s side. It was just the two of them in the quiet room; there would be none of their usual banter or witty remarks…only deafening silence. She leaned down to kiss her forehead and placed the palm of her hand on the back of Beidou’s, lacing their fingers together. No longer under the scrutiny of her subjects, she allowed the tears she had been holding back all afternoon to flow like rivers.
Sobs wracked her body as she choked out, “Please…wake up…I’d give up everything…everything. Don’t you dare leave me. There’s no point in me being Tianquan if you’re not here by my side.”
———————————-
Ningguang canceled all her meetings for the week. Over the next two days, Beidou lay motionless on her bed except for the subtle rise and fall of her chest. From time to time, Ningguang would place her hand there to ensure she was still with her. Yinxing would come to the chamber every day to dress her wounds, administer medication, and monitor her condition.
Baizhu’s advanced healing techniques were nothing short of a miracle. One night toward the end of the week, Beidou opened her eye for the first time. Ningguang nearly launched herself out of her seat and grabbed her hand.
“Beidou! Can you hear me?”
“Hey, Ning. Yea, I can hear you. I lost an eye, not my ears,” she joked. While she was relieved Beidou still had her goofy sense of humor, she felt rage begin to bubble inside her. If she hadn’t been so grievously injured, Ningguang would have punched her in the face.
“What in the seven hells is wrong with you!? Are you an idiot? Do you have any fucking idea how worried I was when I saw you out there? You’re lucky to be alive, Beidou,” she screeched, tears breaking through her normally ice-cold facade.
Witnessing this reaction, Beidou fully snapped back to reality. She rolled her eye. This wasn’t the first time they had had this argument. It was, however, the first time she had come back this wounded.
“And what was I supposed to do, Ning? Let those kids die? I don’t have the fucking luxury of sitting up in an ivory tower watching the world pass me by. It may have escaped your notice, Lady Tianquan, but I have a duty to the people of Liyue, myself be damned,” she turned her head, refusing to meet Ningguang’s gaze.
Livid, Ningguang grabbed her by the chin and forced her to look into her eyes. “The ONLY duty you have is to come back to me alive.”
The events of the last few weeks had taken their toll on both of their sanities. Beidou honestly couldn’t believe how good she now felt despite how dire her injuries had been. She’d have to thank that doctor with the creepy snake the next time he stopped by.
The two women stared at each other in silence, chests heaving. Emotions swirled. The air thickened. Rage, spite, worry,…need. Running on pure adrenaline, Beidou seized Ningguang and hauled her onto the bed. Trapping her underneath her, their mouths violently crashed together. Ningguang grabbed her by the hair, forcing Beidou to plunge her tongue deeper into her mouth.
The need they had for each other was so intense neither of them was thinking straight. When Ningguang bit her lower lip, Beidou felt fire course through her veins. Clearly, the medicine Baizhu had been administering was restoring her strength by the minute. She grabbed the opening at the top of Ningguang’s dress and ripped it straight down.
Beidou felt her gasp beneath her. A sly grin spread across her face. “What, you don’t want to yell at me and call me names anymore? Tell me then - what do you want?”
“What I want is for you to shut up and fuck me,” Ningguang bit back.
“That I can do,” Beidou said as she wrapped her fist in Ningguang’s hair and tilted her head back. Trailing kisses down her neck, she moved back up to her ear and growled, “Well then, get on your hands and knees for me, bitch.”
Ningguang reached up and grabbed Beidou’s face firmly with one hand. “I’m sorry, I don’t think I heard you correctly. What did you just call me?”
Beidou knew she was the only one Ningguang ever allowed to speak to her this way, which only excited the both of them all the more.
“I said,” Beidou grabbed the wrist of the hand Ningguang held her with and pushed her back down into the mattress by her neck with the other, “Get on your hands and knees for me, bitch. I’m not gonna tell you a third time.”
Ningguang did as she was told. Assuming the position, she felt Beidou’s hand strike her ass. That was going to leave a mark.
“Aghhh!”
“That’s better,” Beidou said as she soothed the now-reddened skin beneath her palm. She leaned forward and kissed down her back.
“I know you like to act like you’re in control at all times. It must have been real hard for you to keep it together with me down for the count like that. But as you can see, I’m fine. Let go, Ning. Let me make you lose control.”
Beidou had made her way to the back of her thighs. Ningguang could feel the heat of her breath on her pussy and it took everything in her not to reach back and pull her face in. But that would be proving Beidou’s point.
As if reading her mind, Beidou chuckled knowingly. “Wow, I’m impressed. You must have really been worried about me to actually let me boss you around like this,” she said. Her fingers now hovered right at her entrance.
“I was only worried because it would have been a shame to lose you after all the time I spent training you to fuck me exactly how I prefaghhhhhhh!” Ningguang screamed mid-sentence as Beidou plunged into her.
“Wrong answer, baby,” she chastised. Her practiced fingers worked their magic as Ningguang writhed with need. “You know, when I was out, I could hear you the entire time. Are you fucking crazy? I’d never forgive you if you gave everything up for me. It may have been said in desperation, but this city needs us. Both of us. You on land, me by sea,” she said, teasing her relentlessly.
Ningguang felt the familiar warmth start to build deep within her. “I love you…I only want you to be safe…I’d walk away from it all…” she muttered between thrusts. “Ughhh…yesssss…right there…don’t stop…”
Beidou slowed. “I need to hear you agree that you’ll never try to make a deal that stupid with the archons again.” Ningguang was so frustrated she could cry.
“You would have done the same. Don’t lie to me,” she started to say as she moved to try and regain momentum.
Beidou grabbed her by the hips with her free hand, stilling her. “You’re not getting off until I hear you say you’ll never utter something like that again. You’ve worked too hard to get here. I won’t have you throw away your life’s ambition for someone like me.”
Ningguang whined in response. Still not willing to give in, she retorted, “Bite me.”
“Have it your way.” Beidou sunk her teeth into the juncture of her thigh.
“AHHHHH!! F-f-fine! But only if you swear to me you’ll never do anything so dangerous ever again!” Beidou could tell she was holding back tears once more. Their little game was over.
“That’s fair. After all, I can’t savor the way you taste if I’m dead,” she agreed. Flipping Ningguang on her back, she dove in. Their banter was done. They needed each other more than they needed to determine who was in the right. The only word left on Ningguang’s lips was Beidou’s name as she found her release.
———
Beidou rested next to her as they both took a moment to catch their breath. Once their heart rates returned to normal, Ningguang was ready to show her how grateful she was that she was here in her bed and not on the ocean floor.
Careful not to agitate her remaining wounds, Ningguang climbed on top of Beidou, straddling her waist. Beidou looked into scarlet eyes that seemed to bore straight into her soul and raised her eyebrows in surprise.
“Hey, now! I’m fine. You don’t need to-“
Ningguang interrupted her with a slow kiss powered by need, sliding her tongue between her lips. Never fully entering her mouth, Beidou could feel her licking back and forth. Her breath caught in her throat and turned into a deep moan.
Ningguang only stopped when the need for air became too much to ignore. She took the moment to study Beidou’s damaged eye, gently moving the patch up to view the injury. The pupil that used to match the color of her own was now cloudy. Afraid to upset her, Beidou quickly shut her eye so as to not ruin the mood.
“Ning, don’t-“
“Oh, hush.” She leaned down to kiss her eyebrow, then under her eye, before gently making her way to the injured lid. She needed no words to convey that she adored her for who she was, not her outward appearance. Every time her lips met Beidou’s skin it was as if she was trying to confirm she was really still here with her - that this wasn’t a dream.
Placing the patch back in place, she then alternated licking and kissing down her neck to her now nearly-healed shoulder. Beidou’s breath hitched when Ningguang started to suck on the area. Satisfied with the mark she had left, she looked Beidou up and down. Beidou gulped as she felt her mouth go dry.
Ningguang got up and moved between Beidou’s already wet thighs and nipped at her hips. Beidou bucked in response to the action. Ningguang halted her movements and looked up through her lashes at Beidou with a smirk.
“Since you love to argue with me, I think it’s fitting I make you moan so loudly you won’t be able to talk tomorrow.”
With a chuckle, Beidou smiled back. “I’ll enjoy watching you try. Challenge accepted.”
At that, Ningguang licked Beidou’s wet folds while pinching her clit. Beidou inhaled harshly at the sudden and unexpected sensation. With her thumb, Ningguang circled the sensitive nub as her tongue entered her. With her free hand, she slid past Beidou’s toned stomach up to her breast where she pinched and pulled at her nipple.
Beidou let out a soft sigh but refused to give in completely. Her breathing was quickening with each dart of her lover’s tongue. Gripping the bed sheets to ground herself, she screwed her eye shut. To watch the deliciously filthy image of Ningguang going down on her would certainly be her downfall, and she wasn’t about to give up without a fight.
Unsatisfied with the response she was getting, Ningguang plunged two fingers into her while continuing to suck and swirl on the bundle of nerves. Her exaggerated slurps and moans only brought Beidou nearer to her undoing.
“Mmmm…Captain Beidou…you taste so good,” Ningguang groaned seductively. She knew it drove her crazy when Ningguang called her by her title. “Tianxian…look at me.”
Beidou couldn’t take it anymore. She opened her eye to see Ningguang staring straight back at her, pumping her fingers in and out with the evidence of Beidou’s arousal dripping off her face. Ningguang’s tongue darted out to lick up what remained. Beidou’s head shot back into the pillow. Turning her head, she bit the cushion to stifle the embarrassingly loud moan that had started to build in her throat.
Ningguang could feel Beidou’s legs shaking but knew this wasn’t going to be easy. Her practiced tongue spelled her name on her clit, the pressure fluctuating with each letter. Beidou, still biting the pillow, threw her hand into Ningguang’s white locks and pressed her deeper. Ningguang halted her movements.
“I’m not going to give you what you want until you’re a moaning mess. Let me hear the big, strong Captain Beidou who thinks she’s invincible moan like a little bitch,” she taunted. The two fingers that were inside her opened and shut, stretching her.
A growl erupted from Beidou. She was teetering on the edge, her lower abdomen contracting uncontrollably, the familiar build-up ever so close yet still so far away. Tears pricked at the side of her eye. She still refused to cave.
Ningguang sighed and pulled out of her. Grabbing her chin, she made Beidou face her. She whined at the sudden emptiness and abrupt movement of her head. Ningguang maintained eye contact as she sucked her fingers clean. Beidou’s jaw clenched in response.
With the flick of Ningguang’s wrist, she used her elemental abilities to create a thick, elongated piece of ore. Beidou looked at her questioningly. Without saying a word, Ningguang gestured with her finger and the gem slowly entered her. A simple snap of her fingers controlled the pace at which it pumped in and out. Ningguang then made her way back up to Beidou’s neck allowing the ore to take care of her lower half. As she bit her neck, she could feel a low hum buzz against her lips and knew Beidou was about to break. With another snap of her fingers, the ore began to vibrate.
“OH shit!” Beidou yelled in surprise at the new sensation and sudden intrusion.
Ningguang slyly smiled against her neck.
Beidou let out a loud moan that echoed off the chamber walls that sounded more like a scream.
“I see…you learned a new…AH…trick,” she breathlessly gasped. Ningguang hummed in response and kissed Beidou deeply, playing with both breasts.
“Archons…Ning…”
Another snap of her fingers and the smooth stone moved faster. Beidou started thrusting in time.
“Fuck! Ningguang!” Beidou screamed as she came. Shaking, she arched into her lover’s body as she held her close. Ningguang loved watching her come undone knowing she was the only one who could bring Beidou to her knees.
Their foreheads met and, once she caught her breath and the stars dancing above her head disappeared, Beidou leaned up to kiss Ningguang, pulling her down on top of her. She buried her face into the crook of Beidou’s neck and felt her arms wrap around her tightly.
“You know, I was pretty sure I wasn’t going to make it back. When that serpent pulled me under the only thing I kept thinking was, ‘if this thing doesn’t kill me, Ning will,’” Beidou said, trying to lighten the mood.
“That is an astute and altogether accurate concern,” Ningguang replied as she lazily traced her fingers across her chest. “I’m much more fearsome than a sea serpent.”
Beidou barked out a laugh but then turned eerily quiet.
“Love? Is everything ok?”
“Uh…God, this is going to make me sound so stupid…”
Worried, Ningguang sat up.
“What’s the matter? Did I hurt you?” The tremor in her voice frightened Beidou.
“No! No. I’m fine. It’s just…”
“Just what? You can talk to me, Beidou.”
Beidou heaved a sigh. “I know I made light of the whole eye situation, but it’s good to know you still find me…attractive,” she said with a blush. “Thank you for not treating me any differently despite it.”
Ningguang laid back down, carefully caressing Beidou’s cheek. “I didn’t want to ruin the moment, but it killed me inside when you said you didn’t want me to give everything up ‘for someone like you.’ Why? Why would you say such a thing, darling?”
Tears silently fell as Ningguang’s voice choked with emotion. “I love you for who you are, not who you appear to be. As enraged as I was at the thought of you sacrificing yourself for others, I was also extremely proud. Your beauty lies in your selflessness, my love. I see it in everything you do. You have been and always will be my hero. Only…don’t be so rash next time, okay? I know I seem like I’m a calm, confident, and capable leader, but I have a heart too, you know. It belongs to you. I can’t do this without you, Beidou.”
The room that had once bore witness to the sounds of unbridled passion now beheld a truly rare spectacle. The two strongest women in Liyue had fully let down their guard. Having put responsibility and duty before their own human desires for far too long, they found solace in each other. Their touches were no longer driven by a lustful need to confirm the other’s existence, but instead, tender affection and gratitude for the grounding presence they brought to each other’s lives. Their formidable strength as individuals was not their own but bestowed upon them by their inability to live without the other.

Ayo heard you want horny brainrots well I (🦝) have been summoned.
I don't know what your preferences are. Men, women, both, neither but personally I would fuck just about anything that is off age and willing so that being said
I absolutely adore Beidou. She is so fucking hot. She's powerful, strong willed, breathtakingly gorgeous and overall just step on me, captain I am actually begging. On top of that, she wields a claymore, the back amd shoulder muscle she must have? On God?? Yes, MA'AM.
Realistically she probably has a bunch of scars and a sun tan and overall I think Beidou might be the hottest woman in all of Genshin. Genshin has many hot women but no one surpasses her. My queen. My goddess. My love. My main since day ONE. (that's a lie but she was in fact the forst character I pulled)
Alright I'm going to take my brain and wring it out like a wet towel to give you some more asks. Cya in the next one

Celestial Blessing..
Request: How would the liyue characters react to their s/o receiving a vision! Vision type and why.. very plot heavy.
This is quite a long fic, hence why it took me long to write it! Please i would love feedback if you want to give some, re-blogs appreciated!
Characters: Zhongli, Xiao, Beidou ( I will release another part with Yelan and Ningguang within!)
Warnings: Injuries, may be a little graphic. Mentions of forced marriage and parental issues (Beidou’s). This is from my interpretation of how visions are received and may not be canon, will vary on the vision!
Terms you may not of heard of… Kwoon- A training hall for chinese martial arts, liyue is quite obviously inspired by china!
Tumblr media
Zhongli
Geo- Immovable will and determination, hardworking and fixated.
•Being a lead martial artist and founder of your rather large kwoon meant that you required not only strength but incredible knowledge of the arts and weaponry. Which you thought you fulfilled, if your lover’s opinion did not seem convincing enough. You continued with your family’s legacy and you wore your last name with utmost pride.
•Zhongli and yourself have been a couple for just nearly two years. The opening of your training hall was a joint effort between the both of you, zhongli often printing and scripting the agreement and safety contracts, terms and conditions along with all other formalities whilst you planned the architecture of your kwoon, along with the uniform you required your students to wear, ensuring their comfort was your utmost priority. About a month before the event, Zhongli suggested the idea of opening your training hall on your anniversary.
•‘My love, how do you like the idea of celebrating two ceremonies at once?’ Of course, his cryptic wording left you confused, however the more he explained his point, the more you liked it, clasping your arms around his waist and cherishing his warm loving embrace as he hugged you back, caressing your hair and peppering gentle kisses upon your forehead and cheeks.
•When the day arrived, you found yourself in a rather restless state of perfectionism, darting from place to place at the location and ensuring everything was errorless. Speech stand? Zhongli’s handling it. Refreshments? Upon the banquet table to the right. Decorations and banners? Prepared previously, am i forgetting something?
• The only person who could inflict serenity upon you was your husband himself, lightheartedly reprimanding you to remain tranquil and to take better care of yourself whilst fondling your temporarily calloused hands, guiding you to the stage provided by Yun-Han Opera Troupe.
• Delivering your speech was far from difficult with the support Zhongli gave you, constant reassurance allowed you to deliver it to a flawless standard. Many from the crowd cheered and encouraged you on, strings of melodic praises derived from their kind admiration-driven hearts. Your dearest’s sincere wistful smile accompanied by your gleaming irises was a sight to behold.
• Zhongli may be perceived as forgetful, yet he would never omit to anything related to you, his primary priority. Lightly latching onto your wrist, he whisked you away into a nearby stairwell, to which he deemed would provide all the privacy he wanted. You stared up at him in mild mystification, about to part your lips to question his bizzare actions yet you were stopped with one of his fingers gently upon your mouth, gesturing you to wait.
• From behind his lean form, he presented to you an intricate puzzle, a catalyst of sorts, complex rings of jade orbiting the main section of it, while it rotated and spun slowly in the breeze. Saying you were awestruck was a severe understatement, your eyes sparkled with infatuation at both the weapon and the handsome expression on your husband’s face.
• ‘My dearest, put your palms out before me.’ He requested. You obeyed his instructions, gradually opening your hands from the tight clasp they were in formerly. Zhongli placed the treasure in your hands, and watched how it’s spinning motion significantly increased until it was a blur, glowing in its glory just as cor lapis would do in the moonlight. ‘I knew you were the one the moment i laid my eyes on you, love.’ A burning sensation coursed through your palms, a surreal type of feeling you could not explain in words. There before you, was a golden vision.
• A geo vision. Shining and enlightening the dim alleyway, exactly matching the resplendent hue of Rex Lapis’ pupils, which now was reflected in you. The puzzle levitating to your side, metaphorically representing a promise of protection from the Lord of Geo himself, a faithful weapon. The largest of smirks plastered on your darling’s face, which you couldn’t help but cry delighted sobs into the nape of his neck.
Tumblr media
Xiao
Pyro- A burning, scalding passion, a fierce debate between the arts and fitting within society.
• Xiao first met you a year ago, battling and training against two ruin guards and a ruin hunter, casting an abundance of seals and spells at your disposal, trapping the entities and healing the damaged ley line attracting all of them. For a mortal, he was incredibly impressed, who gave you these adepti spells and casts? Xiao questioned himself, continuing to watch you, who was occupied with aiming arrows at numerous weak points, from a distance.
• He instantaneously materialised infront of the adeptus’ abode, unequipping his luminescent polearm before approaching the edge of the cliff, glancing around for a specific white crane, whom he found in the distance and began to approach.
•’General Alatus, is there something you may need? Why am i graced with your presence?’ Cloud retainer spoke, her formal, transcendent voice awaiting for an answer, azure sky-like wings glowing and rustling against her pure bodice of feathers. ‘Not particularly important, but i’ve noticed a young mortal utilising the arts of the adepti.’
•Cloud retainer followed his query with curt nod, elaborating on how you were her newest follower, a protector of the history of liyue and needed means to protect yourself with such valuable knowledge. Xiao’s misjudgement of you lead to him believing you were a human, when in fact, you were the preserver of Juyeun Karst. Blood of the Adepti coursed through your veins, a valuable life form not to be undervalued.
•From then on, you began to notice a omnipresent individual beside your master, who was willing to aid you with combat training when not protecting Liyue and continuing the legacy of the yakshas. You valued his help, expressing how you felt honoured and how this would boost your progress. What you may not have took note of was the short-lived smile which was present upon his lips, heart warming at the sincere praise.
• As your andragogy continued, so did your contact with your now lover. His unexpected gentleness and calmness brought you both closer and let him alleviate the state painstaking loneliness. He assisted you with combat while you educated him on humane emotions and social ques, which compelled him to focus on his own, the one fluttering in his heart.
•Months later, with your established relationship still flourishing, you found your skills with the bow has dramatically increased, utilising other weapons was a suggestion of Xiao’s, one which you felt uncomfortable to at first, yet decided it would be preferable to increase mastery. According to cloud retainer, you have reached peak performance, the ability to destroy large mechanical anomalies in less than minutes, and to seal ancient threats found spiralling in instability underground.
• The time for your final test has arrived. Careful planning and consideration lead you outside the once sealed domain of Morax’s Creation, Azhdaha. A fierce dragon with ruby bloodlusted vision, a entity with such a reputation that the most seasoned fighters shivered at the mere mention of. Why put you up against such an opponent, surely it would be dangerous? Well, risk is the only lead to development.
•Xiao’s calamitous aura was sensed by the reptilian creature from the moment he entered. The adeptus with such a disastrous, protective nature followed by a determined and ambitious one, gently grasping onto your wrist as if he was afraid regarding your safety, to which he was.
•’Such a powerful, dreading emanation, who dares enters my domain?’ Azhdaha thundered, remaining in his spot, demanding an immediate answer. Xiao knew already that this was one of the leviathan’s tactics, the use of threats to force one’s opponent into submission, even before the duel commenced.
•‘Your intimidation will not work on me, i have already previously discussed the conditions of this spar. If any terms shall be broken, you would wish a fate decided by Morax, rather than with me.’ Alatus retaliated, before turning to you and placing his hand onto your shoulder and the other below your chin, caressing your skin and though he did not speak, his message was clear. ‘If anything goes wrong, do not restrain from calling for me.’
• ‘Begin.’ He declared, and with that, Azhdaha spent no time at all breaking his temporary seals, and emitting a outcry of war and destruction. You swiftly reached for your bow, analysing the dragon’s every move, determining when to use which seals and where.
•A thunderous wave of energy oscillated across the ground, followed by a large leap into the air from you, aiming precisely for the geo insignia upon its chest. The arrows fired at incredible speed, piercing through the tough flesh of the creature, forcing a strained howl of anger from Azhdaha. It seemed it’s fury was released in outbursts of explosive icicles derived from its cryo infusion, targeted directly at you. Whilst you managed to avoid the first wave, the second batch took you by surprise.
•The biting, glacial blades stunned your movement, sending you plummeting into the soil beneath yourself, a cry of affliction pulled from your throat, leaving you immobile and wounded momentarily as the dragon approached you. Your admirer clenched so tightly onto his jaded spear that it was struggling to remain intact in one piece, you had previously assured him that if you really required his assistance, you would ask, which compelled him to stay put.
• Strings of vulgar curses left your mouth, summoning a catalyst to speed up your recovery before the entity reached you, prompting you to mount yourself upright. Once again, unsheathing your weapon. From what you could tell, Azhdaha seemed too consumed with his foul move and revenge that he ignored his unprotected limbs, revealing a chance almost too well timed to be real.
•Fuelled by the years of practice and sparring, you chanted a incantation before charging towards him at full agility. Behind your form was a grand seal, expeditiously approaching Azhdaha. A final gesture of your hand set the domain up into chaos.
• A monumental vermillion fulmination descended to the ground and emitted a force so great you lost your footing, stabbing an arrow to the ground to prevent being blown away. A harsh blood-curdling roar sounded, signifying the downfall of your opponent.
•Fog occupied the atmosphere, a maze of unpredictability and mystery. A minuscule faint glow guided you to the centre like a lighthouse to a boat lost at sea. The closer you got, the more luminous the crimson glow became. Kneeling down, You clutched the embellishment tightly within your hands. A blessing from the gods, an achievement so noticeable, your heart swelling with pride.
•A radiating pyro vision was cradled in your arms. Your form now could be seen by Xiao, who rapidly crouched beside you, he held your jaw, ensuring you looked up at him. Your lover had the warmest grin you had ever seen grace his face, to which you immediately hugged him. A soft gasp was heard from him, yet no complaints..

Beidou
Anemo- The loss of those dearest to you for personal freedom and progression, individuality.
• Many who walked this land of liyue gazed at you, hearts dropping in sheer jealously. A rich socialite was what you were to these people, nothing else. A heartless mortal with a mind set on business and riches. In fact, you were quite the opposite, but why does it matter? Everything happens behind closed shutters and shadowy doors.
•Authoritative and superior were your parents, admired by all, associates with each end of Liyue’s exquisite corporations, right and left. Unbeknownst to citizenry, cynical and inconsiderate were their true faces. Many would consider you privileged, you’d call yourself unfaithful and hopeless, projections of your parent’s language inculcated into your brain.
• ‘We will not stand for such behaviour, do not dare tarnish our reputation with such problematic requests.’ They scolded, persuading you to do what they asked of you. Hopping from ‘buisness meetings’ when infact, they were arranged proposals.
•It just so happened that today was one of those events. Donning exquisite attire and elegance, much to your disliking. Gracefully seated within the outside quarter of Xinyue Kiosk, timorously searching the pedestrians below you for your 3rd proposal.
•An older man appeared, a crooked grin plastered on his faintly wrinkled profile, eyebrows furrowed in interest before situating right next to you. The sudden approach and confidence of this man made your ailing stomach churn even more, a nauseous feeling emerging from your throat. ‘So, I assume your parents have already introduced me as your..suitor?’ There was that feeling again, utter disgust, your windpipe seemed as if a pair of hands constricted your breathing, scrambling for an answer.
•Choking out a meek ‘excuse me, sir’ was enough of an excuse to hurry down the steps and through the back alley, avoiding the gaze of citizens from possibly questioning you. Gaining momentum, you sped down the harbour behind stalls as cautiously as one could in such regal clothing.
•One occurrence you initially thought was a mistake turned out to be your saviour. You collided straight into another person, gasping as you hit their perceived chest, spewing apologies profusely. Just as you were to begin escaping into the opposite direction, a hand grasped onto your wrist, pulling you back towards whoever gently yet firmly. You focused onto her appearance.
• ‘Hey! Where are you going? I haven’t…’ Her deep voice and rich accent trailing off. A brunette woman with concerned, fuchsia eyes, the other covered with a scarlet eyepatch. Her eyebrow raised with realisation, gazing down at you closely, watching the way your own pupils dilated in horror, frantically scattering and searching the surroundings but why? Oh…
•Her expression immediately softened, mouth slightly ajar, attempting to recollect her thoughts. Weren’t you the reputable, prestigious child of Liyue’s most affluent buisness partners? What were you doing in a place like this, even more so with such a petrified expression?
•’Calm down sweetheart, come with me for a bit..You seem too uneasy.’ Her soft, amiable tone soothing your racing heart, a gradual calming effect induced onto you. She surveyed the harbour, deciding where you take you as she held your quivering hand and drew circles onto them, her long nails pleasantly tracing patterns which pacified you.
•She sheltered and handled you as if you were a treasure to a pirate, precious and careful. Ultimately choosing to take you aboard the Crux, which was currently empty due to her crew being occupied with business affairs. Every small considerate smile she gave you made your heart flutter, faint shades of blush dusting your complexion.
•Removing you from publicity, she guided you to her deck and to her cabin. Within it laid a medium sized bed, adorned with soft bedsheets and pillows, a desk with an abundance of organised stamped papers in stacks, with a few clothing racks and luscious carpet. She gestured you to rest upon the bed, putting a pillow under your head, as you laid down, ignoring your polite protests. She momentarily left the room.
•What was this feeling? Such warmth and peace, contrasted with the flittering of your pulse. A quiet squeak of the door and sound of rushed heels against the wooden deck alerted you and pulled you from your thoughts. You knew her as Captain Beidou, partly from associations she had with your parents and others from her appearance, fitting the strong figure of a mighty woman with a carefree benevolent heart.
•’ Believe it or not, dear, i do know who you may be and i have deduced what kind of situation you are caught up in.. yeah, not a pleasant one yet i still hope you can open up to me? Please?’ Beidou comforted, placing her palm on your forehead, sweeping the strands of stray hair to the side. You emitted a small sigh, gradually giving such details, you could trust her. Who wouldn’t?
•’I do not want to cause additional issues, plus your parents know me quite well, why don’t i drop you off to your estate, hmm?’ The captain suggested, awaiting a response. Regardless of how you arrived, you would be in dire trouble. You uttered a small agreement, lifting yourself from the bed. ‘I’ll deal with him, don’t worry.’
•A arm latched onto your own, encasing you in a protective stance, she walked you back, stopping occasionally to check up on you. You may not of known so, but your exhaustion worried her deeply. Once you reached your estate, the guards situated outside, looking rather exhausted and latching onto their polearms for support, swiftly corrected their posture and bombarded you with questions. Beidou intercepted their questions with a answer of her own. ‘She was not feeling well, I am here to bring her back to her parents.’ She resonated, rubbing her index finger along your cheek affectionately, a curt nod to the guards before spinning on her heel and retreating back to the harbour.
•Days of lying in complete rest at home told you that Beidou’s lie deceived your parents perfectly, for once they treated you with adequate care as a person, not a utility. You missed her dearly, yearning for her comfort the longer you stayed at home.
•You were interrupted one morning by a guard briskly walking into your room to leave a letter in your hands. ‘I’m doing you a huge favour, please don’t mess this opportunity up.’ was all he said, shutting the door behind him. Sliding your fingers underneath the envelope to reveal the letter. The handwriting was gorgeous, professionally cursive and legible.
•’ The Crux will depart at midnight, i hope to see you aboard it, with me. This situation you are in clearly is not what you desire, i can help you build a new life elsewhere.’ Stunned was what you felt now. A new life? This could solve all your issues, you could be away from your parents, away from your troubles and finally be free.
• Dusk had fallen upon Liyue, luminescent lanterns and burning stars lit up the night, guiding and coaxing those to admire its beauty. You wore your combat uniform, the golden trimmed sleeves that flared matched the torso and bottom half. You sneaked out of the room, heading directly to the unarmed museum of your estate. Inching the door open and peering in, the coast was empty of guards, you slipped in through the doors and glanced around.
•Assortments of family heirlooms, categorised in a organised order. You knew exactly where to go, straight towards the weapons, which you took your time admiring, elegant catalysts, worn yet precious swords and the sharpest polearms. Weapons were essential, especially these, they could have multiple uses, if you were short on mora you could even sell them. You latched your fingers around the smooth lapis polearm, tracing the intricate patterns around it, lifting it from the wooden stand and ultimately deciding this would be what you took. Lightweight yet deadly, a perfect combination.
•You swiftly escaped through the window to your right, dropping down onto the street, bolting towards the docks with the night concealing any traces you left. You reached the familiar ship, using the ladder to hoist yourself up into it, catching your breath and looking around for Beidou. A few calls of her name and she noticed your presence, quickly pacing towards you, swinging her arm around your neck.
• A glad smirk occupying her features, grasping your hand and bringing you up onto the higher level of the deck. She gestured you to sit on the floor with her under the makeshift canopy, brushing your hair with her fingers and fluttering a gentle kiss on your nose.
•The grand cruise abruptly lifted its anchors, leaving the docks and sailing further away. You turned back to her, eyes tearful and wrapping your arms around her neck. You allowed your tears to flow, cascading your face and when you left Beidou’s hold, onto your hands as you bowed your head with a solemn smile.
• Your final tear dropped into the palm of your hands, followed by an intense gust of wind, glancing up you saw a firefly, it’s verdant trail descending to engulf it’s surroundings with blinding light. It circled your hands and eventually took its own concluding flicker, a blazing teal luminosity burning up, inducing a shock of ignition through your nerves, eyes glowing a deep turquoise. When you gained your sight back, you turned to your lap.
•There was a Vision, placed into your hands by the God of Freedom, in all its glory. Caressing the smooth glass-like orb, bringing it up to your ear, rushing gales heard within the distance, laughs of your lover and quiet sobs belonging to you. A pair of hands encased your face, drying away the remnants of teardrops.

[read it on ao3]
“Do you remember how we first met?” Ningguang is careful about the way she asks the question, her hands balled into fists against Beidou’s bare chest, her head pillowed against her shoulder. Beidou’s fingers graze up and down her back, it’s the only way Ningguang knows she isn’t sleeping.
Those fingers draw to a stop in the middle of her spine, Beidou’s thumb digging in without the force it would take to actually hurt.
“You threw a rock at my head.” Beidou answers simply, “Is that what you’re thinking about with such a serious look on your face?” They’d been children then, not that either of them got much of a chance to be children. Beidou had been hellbent on her own survival and Ningguang had walked all over Liyue, from the harbor to wharf, selling her wares just so her family might have a little extra money. Ningguang hadn’t thought about why she decided to throw a rock at Beidou back then, she just felt compelled to do it. Something that Ningguang hadn’t had a word for back then had masked itself and paraded around as childhood cruelty.
“I threw a rock at you because I thought you were pretty and I wanted you to look at me.” The truth doesn’t come out easily, her eyes focusing hard on the expanse of skin between where she lays and Beidou’s shoulder. She can still faintly pick out where she’d sunk her teeth into Beidou earlier, a punishment for straying so far for so long. She doesn’t expect Beidou to snort and laugh, but she isn’t surprised either. The only reason she still sits up on her elbows is because she knows Beidou expects her to.
Ningguang lets Beidou follow after her, the blankets falling away from the both of them as Beidou sits up and holds Ningguang against her chest, one arm draped over her back while the other hand brushes hair from Ningguang’s face. Ningguang can’t stop herself, she’s already reaching for Beidou with both hands outstretched. “I thought you were dirty and loud and I didn’t want you to look at anyone but me.” Beidou’s cheeks are warm in Ningguang’s hands, her thumbs tracing over her lips.
She’s always been possessive and selfish, but both of those things took new levels when it came to Beidou. The rest of the world could look, Ningguang wouldn’t care just so long as Beidou never looked at anyone else. Men and other women alike, none of them were allowed to have the kind of warmth Beidou looks at her with, it was Ningguang’s to keep like a hidden treasure.
Beidou’s fingers splay wide against her back, tangling in Ningguang’s hair and tugging at the ends as she’s pulled in, their lips crushing together. It lacks the desperation and the heat from before, but Ningguang still moans into it. She can still taste herself on Beidou’s tongue. She’d ridden Beidou’s face for what seemed like forever as a punishment for sailing so far away from her reach. Beidou had proven her apology by digging her fingers into Ningguang’s thighs, holding her in place long after Ningguang had granted her forgiveness. Beidou had left Ningguang aching and bruised. Beidou took Ningguang into her hands and made her tender in ways no one else could. Ningguang knows she should hate her for it, for knowing her so well and so completely, but it only makes her want to keep Beidou closer. It only makes her more selfish.
Ningguang sinks her teeth into Beidou’s bottom lip to prove it, shifting herself over until she straddles Beidou’s thigh. “NingNing’er,” Beidou teases, a drop of blood clinging to her lips before Ningguang leans in to lick it away, “you’re acting like I’ve ever so much as glanced at anyone else.” Ningguang hates that nickname, she hates that Beidou uses it so fearlessly, she hates that Beidou is already dragging her back and forth over her thigh before she can object. “I’m only interested in treasures, after all. You said so yourself, didn’t you?”
“Liar.” Ningguang sighs and wraps her arms around Beidou’s neck, pressing herself closer. She grinds herself harder against Beidou’s thigh as a punishment, wrenching the control away from her all too quickly and biting her own lip. “You brought back that girl from Inazuma and acted like you were over the moon for her.” They hadn’t been children back then, but they still hadn’t been old enough to know better just yet. They’d still been young enough to play games of the heart with each other. Ningguang can’t claim full innocence either, she’d played with Beidou more than enough all on her own.
Two of Beidou’s fingers drag slow, heavy circles over Ningguang’s clit as a grin blossoms on her face, “I forgot about that. You looked like you wanted to claw her eyes out.” The memory of Beidou pulling that stunt felt as if it were a lifetime ago now, it was before Beidou was a captain, it was shortly after she’d started making her way, Ningguang hadn’t been the Tianquan then, either. A kiss, light and feathery, lands against Ningguang’s cheek as a moan slips past her lips.
“I was going to.” Ningguang says it without an ounce of guilt. That girl had known what she was doing, she’d even had the audacity to look smug while she hung over Beidou, her arms around her waist rather than around her neck the way Beidou preferred. She’d done everything wrong and Beidou had still brought her all the way back to Liyue. “What were you thinking?” There’s hostility in her voice as Ningguang catches Beidou’s wrist and drives her hand forward, needing to feel Beidou inside of her. Beidou’s thumb picks up the abandoned post her fingers left, the three appendages working in tandem to soothe Ningguang’s temper.
“You broke my heart, Ning. What else was I supposed to do?” The wound is old, long since scabbed and scarred over, but there’s still something tender and painful in Beidou’s eye when Ningguang pulls back to look at her, her hips going still and her arms tensing around Beidou’s neck. It gives Beidou the opportunity to snatch control away from her yet again and push her down onto her back. Ningguang spreads her legs and wraps her thighs as tightly around Beidou’s waist as she can manage. It’s a silent plea for Beidou to stay, to not get up and walk away from her, for Beidou to stay where Ningguang can reach over and feel her too warm body and lay her head on her chest.
Beidou’s fingers and thumb are still damp with Ningguang’s slick as Beidou wraps her hands around Ningguang’s wrists, pinning them to the bed while she looks down at Ningguang. The expression on Beidou’s face would be unreadable to anyone else, but to Ningguang the hurt and desire mix into something tumultuous, like crashing waves during a storm, like a hurricane about to deliver itself onto the shores of their hearts. “I lived for your letters. At every port we stopped at, I hoped that you’d written to me and that you’d sprayed the paper with your perfume so I wouldn’t have to try and remember what you smelled like when I held you in my arms.” Ningguang had convinced herself that she was the cruel one, but what other name is there for the way Beidou grinds them against each other? “I thought about you day and night, about how we were going to get married just as soon as we’d saved up enough mora.”
Ningguang can’t help the way her body jolts in response to Beidou’s weight against her, moans ripping out of her faster than she dares stop them. “Beidou,” Ningguang tries, but Beidou interrupts her with a snap of her hips and the tightening of her hands. Ningguang thought she knew what agony was, she thought it was waiting through storm after storm, hoping against hope that Beidou hadn’t been dragged to the bottom of the sea. She thought agony was repeatedly peeking through a door she’d slammed shut.
“I knew your mother hated me, that she thought I would ruin you. I just never expected you to agree with her. I never thought your next letter would say that you couldn’t marry me. I never thought you would send your engagement necklace back.” It hadn’t been easy, Ningguang hadn’t taken off the pendant since Beidou draped it around her neck. The noctilucous jade had been heavy, but it had been Ningguang’s prized possession once. She thought sending it back to Beidou would kill her, or if it didn’t, it would kill Beidou instead. The thought alone almost made her keep it.
Beidou’s throat catches, dragging out something between a moan and a sob as she hangs above Ningguang, her breasts starting to bounce as she picks up the pace of her grinding. “You wouldn’t even tell me why, you sent back all my letters without even opening them, Ningguang.” They never talked about it. It was an unspoken agreement, it was the kinder thing for both of them, at least Ningguang had thought so. “I couldn’t even get you to see me when I got back.” Beidou’s words get tighter and tighter the closer she drags the both of them to orgasm, her grip on Ningguang’s wrists loosening and then tightening again at intervals.
“What… What did you do with the pendant after… after I sent it back to you?” Ningguang asks, breathless but still desperate to know. She’d always wondered, but she’d never been able to ask. Not until now.
“I threw it into the ocean.” There’s an angry edge to Beidou’s voice, angry enough that Ningguang thinks it might be a lie, that the pendant might still be laying in the bottom of Beidou’s desk drawer aboard the Alchor, waiting for the day it would be returned to Ningguang’s hands. “I was too drunk to care.”
Wrestling her hands free, Ningguang drags Beidou down for a proper kiss, before the anger has a chance to sink in fully. Beidou would stay away out of spite if it did. Ningguang couldn’t bear that. She barely survived it all those years ago.
Her kiss is Beidou’s undoing, it often is, but Ningguang clings to Beidou through it, refusing to let her pull away again. Her nails dig into Beidou’s back and her scalp as Ningguang comes hard again, she’d already lost track of how many times Beidou had brought her to orgasm, though her mind still goes thick and sluggish as if it were the first time.
For a long moment, Ningguang wonders if Beidou has gone sullen, her eye angry and her mouth refusing to open, but then she feels it. Something hot and wet burns against her shoulder and Ningguang tightens her arms where they lay instinctively.
She would marry Beidou now. She would wear the green and gold wedding robes and the heavy crown atop her head. Ningguang would buy Beidou three more ships as a wedding present because she could. But the Beidou who would hold Ningguang’s hands in her own and ask her in a soft voice, both of her eyes shining, if she would marry her is gone. That guileless Beidou lays at the bottom of the ocean with the pendant she’d worked day and night for three months to buy.
Ningguang had drowned her and then she’d fallen in love with Beidou all over again. She’d accepted and loved this new Beidou who’d never let their knees brush while she asked for her hand. Before she can stop them, tears spill out of her own eyes and drip onto the top of Beidou’s head, her breathing turning loud and rough.
“Ning?” Beidou calls, her voice wobbly, but strong as she fights past Ningguang’s arms. “Oh fuck, Ningguang, I’m…” Beidou starts, but trails off, her hands reaching for Ningguang before stopping and restarting again. They didn’t do this with each other, it was how Ningguang liked it. Beidou’s hands, callused and wonderful, find Ningguang’s cheeks and wipe away the tears.
If she had any sense left, Ningguang would push Beidou away and kick her out for the night, but she can’t, she might die if she had to watch Beidou’s back get smaller and smaller as she walked away from her again. Instead, against her better judgment, Ningguang leans into Beidou’s hands and breathes hard to try and pull herself together, her eyes squeezed shut.
“That girl from Inazuma,” Ningguang starts, her chest still heaving, “it wasn’t because you…loved her, was it?” They aren’t young anymore, Ningguang won’t beat around the bush. She forces herself to say the word. “You only carried on with her because you wanted to bother me, didn’t you?” No matter how old she is, the memory still makes Ningguang feel juvenile enough to froth with jealousy.
Beidou could have done more with that girl from Inazuma, she could’ve played the game longer. She could have let that girl lean in closer and kiss her neck like Ningguang did, she could have sat her in her lap at Wanmin Restaurant like she used to talk Ningguang into doing and she could have held her tight around the middle, but she hadn’t. The second Ningguang had stormed over, cold indifference in her eyes towards the girl, Beidou had let herself be dragged off and pushed against the wall of some alley. Ningguang had intended to argue and raise her voice, she thought she was shaking with anger, but she’d collapsed against Beidou’s chest and realized too late that she’d been shaking with envy and heartbreak all at once.
“I don’t even remember her name, Ning.” Beidou answers and Ningguang can’t find a single lie in the depths of her eye. It shouldn’t soothe her as much as it does, but a knot works itself loose from between Ningguang’s shoulders. “She wasn’t you, that’s all that mattered to me back then, and it’s all that matters to me right now.”
The girl’s name had been Haruka, and she’d thrown a fit when she caught the two of them kissing as though they were the only two sources of air for each other in all of Teyvat. Ningguang doesn’t feel an ounce of guilt for keeping tabs on her even after she’d gone back to Inazuma.
“How fickle the great Captain Beidou is.” Ningguang says, her thumb tracing over Beidou’s bottom lip as it swells. She’d been cruel, but she knows Beidou can handle it, she knows how much Beidou looks forward to it.
Never again would Ningguang deprive her of it.
