the genshin fanbase really is like, the rwby fanbase of the 2020s.

both of them, at large, have a collective hatred for literally any other IP. both of them hold the belief that their favorite thing is better than every other thing in their respective mediums, yet simultaneously parade the fact that they've never actually watched/played anything else.

genshin fans will criticize other gachas like fgo, arknights, etc. for having overly sexualized designs, and then in the same breath they'll happily admit to having never played any other mobile game and also thirstpost over their game's own characters who all hardly look a day above 15. they'll call those other games glorified slot machines and then threaten to burn the entire world down, threaten the lives of the devs and VAs, and reviewbomb other games because they didn't like their anniversary gift as if they were entitled to more gambling currency.

in the same vein, rwby fans will act like their show is better than every anime because there's no fanservice, yet still jerk off to the girls anyway and will admit to have never actually watched a real anime, or literally anything else for that matter (short of marvel movies, and that's if you're super lucky). rwby being so openly and shallowly derivative of other media yet failing to surpass any of their inspirations pretty much inherently means that the whole point of being a rwby fan is that you've never watched anything else, because once you start watching literally anything else, you realize just how sorely lacking rwby is in like, every department.

both fanbases have a smug sense of superiority with no leg to stand on and wear their ignorance of other people's interests as a badge of honor, but at least to mihoyo's credit, i don't imagine they hold the same attitude as their fans do. not like rooster teeth making rwby talking like "we're not like those other cringey anime" or making gen:lock like "unlike other mecha anime, this one's about the characters" with no hint of shame or self-awareness.

these qualities are, i'd say, what makes both of them stand out as particularly bad and toxic fandoms, in a sea of fandom culture where you can so easily and casually say any and every fandom is toxic.

Convention Experience

Although I normally am not given the opportunity to indulge in fandom culture through anime conventions. I was given the rare chance of experiencing MomoCon 2023 in Atlanta, Georgia with my childhood friend! Since this was my first time going to a convention, I was honestly incredibly ecstatic, not really sure what to expect. Regardless, when I had arrived at the convention center, my expectations were completely exceeded! Seeing the Georgia World Congress Center was unbelievable due to its unexpectedly large size. Combined with its large size and the diverse crowds of people attending, MomoCon was a marvel to behold. While my friend and I share an interest in anime and gaming, we both have contrasting interests in that he reads media related to the boys’ love genre, whereas I indulge in media related to the girls’ love genre. Therefore, we both arrived at MomoCon seeking out differing things like specific fan art and merch from select anime and manga that we had previously enjoyed.

Since it was my first time attending MomoCon, I was given a “first con-goer” badge! Because I had never seen cosplay in person, it was honestly a bit off-putting experiencing it in reality. Regardless, numerous individuals were dressed in cosplay from games like “Genshin Impact” and anime like My Hero Academia. Overall, experiencing and observing the amount of people that put large amounts of effort in their cosplay was impressive. Being at MomoCon also taught me new things like, “posting up,” where cosplayers will stand in a nice place to flaunt and show off their cosplay! As i attended the conference throughout the week, I saw many unique and impressive cosplayers “posting up” in the courtyard of the convention center. Whenever it was hot, I also saw numerous cosplayers “posting up” inside the convention center!

Although I had heard of various different tournaments being held at anime conventions like cosplay or gaming tournaments, seeing it occurring in-person was surreal. The first thing I experienced at Momocon was a big arcade labeled as the “e-sports gaming hall.” As I walked into the hall, I saw various different arcade games like “Musika” and “Groove Coaster!” As an individual that indulges in rhythms games, I was completely encapsulated by my environment as I witnessed people dancing and competing against each other.

After walking through the e-sports gaming hall, I ended up in the hall where the dealer’s stuff was arranged. Walking through the hall, I saw a character from one my favorite shows: Jinx from Arcane! As I combed through the different booths in the dealer’s room, I saw different fan creations that were based off of franchises from various shows, anime, and games like Arcane/League of Legends. My previous experiences relate to the readings and lectures in that fandoms of these franchises foster and develop their own shadow cultural economy. As fans were exchanging fan produced texts and merchandise between each other, the shadow cultural economy was functioning independently from mainstream cultural economies as these individuals created and contributed to a distinct fan culture. In addition to the dealer’s room, I also walked through the Artist Alley with my friend. Walking through the Artist Alley was inconceivable in that it was incredibly massive and overwhelming. As I examined the booths, I saw different merchandise for various franchises like Pokémon! As an avid enjoyer and player of the Pokémon games, this was incredibly exciting.

Ultimately, MomoCon was an unforgettable experience as I was able to meet different cosplayers and experience the unique concept of fandom culture! I hope to attend even bigger conventions in the future like ComicCon and bring home more fan art and fan-made things like Pokémon keychains :).

before we start, the mimo gift package, for those who don’t know, is a box with a thank you letter signed by da wei, 2 bits of merch from each of mihoyo’s games (genshin impact, honkai impact 3rd, tears of themis) and a separate drawer underneath w/ an acrylic standee, photocards of lumi from nova desktop and some merch from houkai gakuen 2/gun girls z. it was given to content creators of all kinds to show their appreciation and gratitude for producing content !!

1. Submissions should be based on the Genshin Impact character Zhongli as the subject of creation. Creative content can be expanded based on the lore of Genshin Impact, including but not limited to the imagination of Zhongli in different time and space settings.

2. The finished works posted should be colored. Travelers should take note to retain pictures of their works-in-progress (drafts, sketches, etc.) for the Official Genshin Impact Community Team to verify that the works are original.

3. Aside from the artist's signature, the finished works must not contain any letters, words, or text.

4. Travelers should briefly outline the inspiration and meaning behind their artwork, as well as the time spent on its creation.

5. Travelers should sign their name in any of the four corners of the work.

* For participation to be valid, Travelers must adhere to all the above five criteria.

Cosplay:

1. The content of the submissions is non-controversial and does not involve pornography, racism, violence, pedophilia, or any content that is illegal or unethical.

2. Submissions should be based on the Genshin Impact character Zhongli as the subject of creation. Creative content can be expanded based on the lore of Genshin Impact, including but not limited to the imagination of Zhongli in different time and space settings.

3. Participants are not allowed to use the winning works of previous cosplay competitions organized by the Official Genshin Impact Team or other cosplay competitions to participate in this event. Upon verification by investigation or reporting, participants found to violate this criterion will be disqualified from the competition. However, previous winners can submit new works to participate in this event.

4. The participating cosplayer/photographer shall be held legally responsible for the copyright and portrait rights of the submitted works. Any legal disputes arising from plagiarism of others' works shall be borne by the participant, and is in no way related to the organizer or the host.

5. In the case that the copyright of the submitted work belongs to more than one person, including the participant, the participating cosplayer/photographer should ensure that the work has been authorized by other copyright owners. The organizer and host will not bear any legal liability for any dispute arising from the failure to obtain authorization.

6. All submissions will be judged by the Official Genshin Impact Team according to the creativity, degree of authenticity, expressiveness, completion, and other dimensions of the work.

Two fun weekends in a row (Tekko and Otakon trip ramble blog?)

Other than random sadness thinking about niche Etrian game issues /Nintendo shooting themselves in the foot by not taking advantage of their huge games library by offering official emulation support or anything even tho it would be IMHO a huge win win where fans can play older titles and Nintendo can get money, I am quite happy rn. For the first time in my life ice finally gone to another city!! Made the physically and financially tiring decision to join two friends to go transportation to Tekkoshocon and Otakon in a row lol. Literally just. Two weekends of con madness /fever dream lol. Tekko isn't much of an issue for my bc I love in Pittsburgh and can use the bus system quite well but my friend (I will call friends C) let me and another mutual friend (I will call friends F) stay at their house overnight and also their mom drove us to and from the convention (the night thing was big for me bc I don't want to ride city busses alone at night lol). So yayyy.

Tbh I like tekko being in April better just due to the temperature / air conditioning issues that convention center had. Plus it's probably better for cosplayers so that they can wear heavier costumes and wear make up without worrying about heat stroke or runny makeup. Loved the ribbon game. While I didn't do much of it, my friend C and their siblings loved it. I got 3 ribbons overall, but it was fun seeing ppl wearing long scrolls /scarves of ribbons lol. I'll have to post a picture of my tekko badges later lol. A little sad that I accidentally missed the FFXIV meet up bc an Emet Selch cosplayer was handing out Warrior of Light ribbons. Tbh I think I. Bought an ffxiv standee from them at the flea market on Thurs??? It was weird. At least I got the verlive verlaugh and verlove ribbon lol. Plus educational Charles Dunbar panels are always a highlight that I try to go to every year. More fun academic books on shinto and Japanese culture to add to my list to read at some point in life. Yayyyyyyyy? (Some books are expensive oof but like. The carnegie library of Pittsburgh is decent and maybe I can look into getting an alumni library card from my college so I can use the EZ-borrow system that all Pittsburgh colleges are share (thinking of the time I snuck into the big Pitt and Duquesne libraries, can't remember if I successfully snuck into the CMU one :/) or Iliad program (nationwide college library loan system (yes I was a student librarian I had to do shipping and packaging for these systems)).

Then my friends F is going to school in Baltimore and living with his aunt. So we got to see Baltimore and Washington DC, which I've never done. And go on the MARC and Amtrak trains, which was fun bc I've also never done that either. Basically sure to financial issues and other things I've never been able to see other cities or go on vacations ever. Like. When I do go places, it's usually my aunt and uncle taking me and my siblings to like. Weird hillbilly county fairs ans art fairs in the back woods of Ohio, Virginia, Pennsylvania, West Virginia etc. And we went to Erie once. That's like. That's it. I've literally never seen another huge metropolitan area before in my entire life except for my home city lol. Like. My friends C and F and their families have moved countries and traveled before so going on airplanes and trains and seeing big cities is like mundane to them. I told them that I've basically never done anything or been anywhere and the most I've traveled is like. Manually walking /house back riding in skyrim /genshin impact. And they were like "Oh no you poor thing" lol.

Anyways i had a fun time at the Smithsonian Postal museum that's right next to the train station and saw the incredibly beautiful Library of Congress. I feel like I could stay there and look at stamps or the ceiling for hours. Learned about Owney the postal dog too. What a good sweet boy. Then we got to the glass vase with him inside. My friend and i were like. What. Is that the dog. Google it. Is that a replica. No. Wait. It's the dog. The beloved adorable dog in many many stamps and postcards and stuffed animals in the gift shop. It's just a taxidermy dog. We had such a good laugh it was insane and surreal to see such a display in a museum lol.

The stamp collection is so fun and interactive you can pull out glass cases from the wall. Stamps from different eras of us history and from around the world. Wow.

Otakon was Friday and Saturday. So many fun panels! So many ppl! Turns out that this year was insane due to Anime Next bring canceled so ppl had the options to get a refund or have their tickets roll into Otakon. So. Yeahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. The wifi of the convention center both paid and free was awful with so many ppl using it and the escalators shut down at some point. Let's just say that the center's architecture had some questionable staircase choices of "how did this pass a safety inspection?" Also when not going to panels I hung out in artist alley most of Friday and then Sat I got hit with FOMO really bad in the last 20 minutes of the dealer room being open so I got a ton of merch. The funniest were the meme tip jars of artists. There was one artist that I gave like. $100 to in merch buying. I was the only one to recognize End Roll and the only one who wanted Pandora Hearts merch. Sadge kinda but also the artist seemed happy to at least see another fellow fan lol. Also. Literally the only pandora hearts merch I've ever seen so like. Yeah I snatched that up fast. Plus I got a lot of ffxiv fan merch. Happy that it's super popular and all so I could find it easily unlike my other niche interested or my friend F's niche gacha game Tokyo After school Summoner. Uggghh so much money spent. Like. $800+..... But also as a temp I keep getting stable for a few months boring office jobs. Like. Allegheny Elections division for 3 months during the primaries (sooo stressful it was call center for 3 months begging poll workers to get their shit together and actually show upto work or having g to break bad news to them that someone who wrote themselves in got like 2 votes and suddenly ppl who worked at a polling place for years lost their job bc they don't know how location elections work or they don't even work in the area or anything and then the last week I was manning the physical absentee ballot box downstairs. Ppl literally like. Yelled at me and everything I was scared tbh. Like. I'm just here to keep my job and all and like. It was physically in my face totally different and way more stressful than someone getting angry at me over the phone but with no physical way to hurt me you know. I hung up signs outside about turning in others ballots without a form filled out bc its not allowed anymore or something and ppl still played dumb or got angry and were like I wanna talk to your manager (she told them to complain to their congressman bc there's literally nothing us average govt office workers can do about it). My temp superior was like "wouldn't it be funny if I put you in the election office again in November?" (Plz no Amy my heart can't take it uuuu) at least this summer assignment is just. Mail room WIC FMNP stuff. Like. So relaxing. For 8 hours a day 5 days a week for $15. Yay for ok semi stable office jobs. I was the only person in my group of 3 with a semi "proper adult job" and saved money in my bank account and it showed in the amount of stuff I got compared to what they bought lol. But also if I get yelled at for like 3 months straight and earned money with blood sweat and tears I think I can afford to splurge a bit for like. 6 days a year for anime cons.

The most insane thing I saw was a prize figure of Joker Persona 5. I love prize figures bc every year the quality gets better and better but as prize figs and not huge scale ones they stay in an affordable range of $25-$50 rather than the big $100-$400 ones (deep sea girl miuk kill me lol). But like. The price on this prize fig was $95. Holy shit. I know that they just jacked up the price bc persona 5 is still popular and relevant. Even worse when we got back to stable wifi at friends F's aunt's house I looked up the figure and he's just. Regular prize figure price of $35-40 depending on the online store. Lmaoooo. Looking at the good smile pop up parade joker now as well bc again a nice affordable price of $35 (tbh might be $55 bc GSC uses a flat rate of $20 for shipping priority with tracking and all but it's still not too bad). I'll make a final decision later but first after work today I'll probably get an itabag so I can actually put this stuff in something to show off next year. Plus my friend C offered Anime Expo September bc its cooler and more affordable to travel and stay in a hotel in the boring month of Sept rather than the summer next year? I've never been to California (or on a plane but I guess we could take a train instead depending on prices?) so it sounds fun.

Things I realized about the fandoms I am/was in

Danganronpa fans and Touhou fans hate each other for some reason. (No idea)

If you are a girl or a fem aligned person who likes Touhou there's a high chance you're Not Straight™

There's is a lot of solidarity between Touhou and Mega Man fans.

Ace Attorney fans who like Danganronpa are cut from the same cloth.

And Danganronpa fans who like Genshin Impact are also cut from the same cloth.

Genshin fans and Ace Attorney fans usually aren't aware of each other's existence.

All three are insane. But Ace Attorney fans are usually the least unhinged.

If you like Danganronpa there's a high chance you listen to Maretu, Kikuo, or GHOST on repeat.

If you like Danganronpa, you either thrive on TikTok or hiss at it like an irate cat.

Touhou fans, Danganronpa fans, Genshin Impact fans, and Mega Man fans all try to avoid the fandom at large to keep what little sanity they have left.

Many Mega Man fans wear beating the games like a badge of honor.

Liking a straight ship in Ace Attorney is a rarity but most sane people won't jump on you for it. Be very cautious around Genshin and Danganronpa fans.

Touhou fans are either scarily amazing at the games or can't beat stage 3 on normal (I'm the latter)

📷📷 Poco X3Poco hasn’t been around for long and yet very quickly this Xiaomi spinoff brand has built a reputation for itself launching multiple products with “world’s first or India’s first” technologies. Starting off with the illustrious Poco F1, it went on to launch the Poco X2 (first phone under 20k with 120Hz refresh rate display) and Poco X3 (first phone with Qualcomm Snapdragon 732G system-on-chip). The freshly minted Poco X3 Pro, likewise, is the first phone with Qualcomm Snapdragon 860 SoC. More than the chip itself, it is the price of the phone that is grabbing headlines. It starts at just Rs 18,999 (6GB/128GB).Then again, if you know a thing or two about Poco, this is business as usual.Unlike the Poco F1 or Poco X2 or even the Poco X3, the Poco X3 Pro isn’t technically a new product so to say. As the name suggests, it’s a turbo-charged Poco X3. If the Poco X3 was a race car, the Poco X3 Pro with its more powerful hardware should be a rocket ship. That’s expected. But that’s not all that you probably expect from a phone launching in 2021, even if its costs so low. You also expect a little bit of polish and a little bit of promise of futureproofing to go along.High performance, delivered Like the phone itself, the chip inside it is also not completely brand new. The Snapdragon 860 is a Snapdragon 855 from 2019 with a slightly overclocked CPU. Think of it as a refurbished Snapdragon 855 Plus. Considering how fast Qualcomm keeps refreshing its portfolio these days, some might take that refurbished badge with a pinch of salt. Some might call it dated. But when you put a chip like that inside a budget phone like the Poco X3 Pro, all your preconceived notions are instantly blown away. Suddenly, things start to make a lot of sense.Make no mistake, this is the most powerful phone under 20k in the Indian market today. Period. As if it wasn’t already enough, the Poco X3 Pro also comes with UFS 3.1 storage, another first for any phone in this price range.The Poco X3 Pro story essentially revolves around this hardware combo. It is perhaps the only Poco phone worthy of being called a “spiritual” successor to the Poco F1, perfectly aligning with its “everything you need, nothing you don’t” formula which is probably why the brand is going all out on marketing it that way. For good reason. Next to the Poco X3, the Poco X3 Pro is a whole new beast. Like I said, it’s a rocket ship.And it performs like one, for the most part. There are two parts to this story.This is the only phone under 20k that can play a graphically intensive game like Genshin Impact (at medium setting) or Call of Duty: Mobile (all maxed out) effortlessly, which is to say that your experience would be very, very satisfying. The Adreno 640 GPU holds up well. Though it throttles from time to time, this phone latches on and gives you a steady 60fps in many supporting games. Something like this was not possible before. It opens new opportunities, the Poco X3 Pro, for those looking to get some sort of headstart into the world of competitive gaming without breaking their bank. But it is not perfect. The Snapdragon 860, like the Snapdragon 870, and even the Snapdragon 888, is prone to heating, sometimes alarmingly when stressed. There is a cooling system inside the phone — called Liquid Cool Plus — but it seems lifted as is from the Poco X3, a phone that came with a far less powerful chip in comparison. Whatever it is, it can’t hold the beast for long as the Poco X3 Pro gets warm quickly, and near toasty during extended gaming sessions. At this point, it can become uncomfortable to hold.Basic day-to-day tasks are handled well by the phone though. As an everybody phone, this is as slick as it can get at such a low price. Poco gives you an option for up to 8 gigs of LPDDR4X RAM. Storage is capped at 128GB, but the phone supports expansion by up to 1TB. This is via a hybrid slot.Beyond gaming Rest of the Poco X3 Pro is familiar territory. Be it design, display, or battery. Even the cameras. That is not to say there are no changes, but those changes have got more to

do with subtle refinements than anything else. Some choices work, some not so much but you can tell Poco has tried to add a bit of polish to the whole package. The Poco X3 was rough around the edges.This starts with the design itself. The dual tone look is being carried over, which is to say that the Poco X3 Pro — like its predecessor — is also unapologetically bold and flashy. There is a new bronze colourway if you’re into that sort of thing. The pill-shaped massive camera module stays put too. So does the recessed side-mounted fingerprint reader which is, expectedly, fast and responsive. The only change here is the slightly tweaked Poco branding that’s more “3D” than before, but still difficult to unsee — and in my case, difficult to get along with.One of the big concerns with the Poco X3 was its heft. It was big and bulky. A part of this was because of its huge 6,000mAh battery. Poco has tried to address those concerns by reducing capacity — the Poco X3 Pro has a smaller 5,160mAh battery — but the results are nothing to write home about. The Poco X3 Pro is still an all-plastic phone that’s almost 215 gram in weight and nearly 9.5mm in thickness. Not to mention, that watered-down battery means the Poco X3 Pro can’t last as long as the Poco X3 (battery life on average is good though). It’s one of those rare instances where Poco has backed itself into a corner.It’s barely touched that screen though aside from bumping up the protection which is Corning Gorilla Glass 6 now. The Poco X3 Pro has the same 6.67-inch IPS LCD display with 1080p resolution and dynamic 120Hz refresh rate (240Hz touch sampling) as the Poco X3. It works in the same way also which means it is good but not best in class. The panel does not get very bright, colours appear muted and viewing angles could be better. The phone can’t play HDR10 content off streaming services like Netflix despite support. Ghosting or random stutters are common across some UI elements from time to time or when you are browsing through a page that involves diverse elements like text, images/GIFs, or videos. Next to a phone like the Redmi Note 10 Pro Max, or Note 10 Pro, the Poco X3 Pro looks seriously underpowered in this regardThese Redmi phones also give the Poco X3 Pro’s cameras a run for their money. The Poco X3, even though it was a performance-oriented slash gaming phone, had a competitive camera setup. For some curious reason, its “Pro” version takes several steps back. It has a 48MP main (this was 64MP in the X3), 8MP ultra-wide-angle (13MP in X3) and two 2MP cameras, one for depth and another for macros. Output is just about serviceable.You can take good-enough shots with the primary camera (Sony IMX582 sensor) when lots of light is available, but the level of detail and dynamic range could be better. Colours are mostly true to source, which is nice. The ultra-wide camera lacks colour parity with the main camera, but it does a decent job offering a wider perspective when lighting is ideal. Details are still amiss in these photos, but it is what it is. Portraits shot with the Poco X3 Pro come out nice with good subject separation and creamy background blur. The macro shooter is a hit or miss affair. Low light photos (even with night mode which is also available on the ultra-wide) are disappointing, in part due to the aggressive noise reduction algorithm. Video recording tops out at 4K@30fps. The 20MP front camera is same as the one on the Poco X3. It takes decent selfies when lighting is good with occasional smoothening even when beautification is manually set to off.Software has always been Poco’s dark horse and while that’s largely true about the Poco X3 Pro as well, MIUI for Poco is clearly showing signs of ageing, already. It does not show any pesky ads like its other Redmi siblings which is well articulated and appreciated, but Poco needs to do more than that to justify its existence as an independent brand now. MIUI for Poco needs to be more than just MIUI with a Poco launcher to differentiate itself. With Xiaomi borrowing many of its features including the

hallowed app drawer and Google feed on the minus one screen, MIUI for Poco doesn’t really stand out anymore. If anything, it has become buggier by the day. The amount of bloat or unwanted apps has gone up. But the biggest problem is the lack of clarity on future updates. My review unit is running MIUI 12.0.5 (with the April security patch) when an even cheaper Redmi phone like the Redmi Note 10S has been updated to MIUI 12.5.4.An ode to a classic I write this review as I install Battlegrounds Mobile India Beta on this phone, and I can’t help but think how far Poco has come. How the Poco F1 turned the industry literally upside down. That phone was far from perfect. It had a wonky design and terrible cameras. The thing couldn’t even stream Netflix in high definition initially. And yet, here we are, three years later, still asking Poco to launch a successor. Not a lot of phones have commanded so much respect and adulation from fans and critics alike. It was truly one of its kind, the Poco F1, and I think it’s befitting it stays that way. Some things are just not meant to be replacedBut you can always have a product or two that could take you back in time. Something like the Poco X3 Pro. It is the only phone that has been able to recreate some of that lost Poco F1 magic for me.There are phones with better design, more colourful display, significantly better cameras, and longer battery life under 20k, but none of them can play Battlegrounds Mobile India Beta the way it is meant to be played like the Poco X3 Pro. If that is what you are looking for, the Poco X3 Pro comes highly recommended.But here’s the thing, nostalgia and power will take Poco only so far. Considering how a lot of people are still holding on to their Poco F1s, it would have been nice had Poco offered a 5G option (it’s possible since the Snapdragon 860 is compatible with an external X50 5G modem) even if it came at a cost.Pros: Most powerful phone under 20k, 120Hz display, Loud dual speakers, IP53 rating, Good battery lifeCons: Big and bulky, Cameras could be better, Slow Android update rollout

You pretty sum up everything. Not all players were like that though. So i think, we need a reward as well. It feels as if Mihoyo is giving themsleves a greedy image.

I agree with everything you. And no worries, i heard daily rants recently about kokomi. (Last time, its about yoi). Recently the kokomi bashing bothers me. Like sure she didnt crt she is made for it. Also, its Mihoyo's marketing strategy to either make you pull to test it, or skip it. I dont get why everyone make it as a huge fuss.

Re: voice actors

As a major fan of the eng va ( i love other vas too), this saddens me when aether's va suddenly burst out a tweet and open up about it. The kaeluc scenario also made me remember when diluc's eng va posted a pic and other players gone wild and commented on something. ( makes sense why Sean Chip is avoiding the genshin community) some players just dont get that they are the voice actors, and theres a whole mihoyo management or department working on and telling them how to do this and that.

The whole "if [insert character] didnt do damage, then its trash] idea from other players makes me sad. I guess every gacha community says that, but i dunno, here in genshin cummunity, it seems different. Also yeah, i have been avoiding genshin community pages or group, been seeing other rude f2p slapping their f2p badge as if they are all the best in everything. Im not saying to everyone, but some are just rude, and their way of saying it feels like an insult. Sure, they are lucky, some our lucky, but i hope they try to be more fair and understandble to other players who are playing the game in peace.

I dunno if im making sense here, but all i say is that i agree with you.

If we are given rewards, thats a plus, but yeah, at this moment, im not expecting any. I gone broke too, makes me wanna quit the game actually. I really love this game but the community, some players in it, makes me sad and slowing making me loose interest with the game.

I get that the anniversary rewards are bad but does this fandom even deserve rewards in the first place??
