cardan’s name is so elegant and beautiful, there’s something about it that gives me flutters every time i read it.

Cardan is derived from "Cardon" which means "thistle". a thistle is a pretty, albeit prickly plant with a purple flower–an apt description of our beloved High King, as well, i might add.

it's also the Scottish national emblem, and in Celtic symbolism, it has come to represent "nobility" and/or "graciousness". because of its thorniness and sometimes aggressive nature, the thistle has also been regarded as a cursed flower, indicative of a threat.

Okay I don’t know what you all are on but I loved the tail from the beginning. I don’t care. I think it’s cute, and I love that it shows his emotions. Cardan accepted Jude’s ears, which mark her as human, and I think we as a fandom need to accept Cardans tail, which mark him as fae. Also everyone thinks wings are hot so like?? What’s the difference????
