i love the search for spock so, so much but something i’ve always found funny is how they got spocks genesis body off the planet at basically the exact same age at which he died. like he’d been on there for a while they just found him and got lucky.
they where biding their time ageing this guy like a fucking cheese wheel you don’t understand he was a CHILD like 4 hours earlier lmfao

I Need You
277 years ago, Humanity’s hubris created the Nexus. Every 39.1 years it circles the Galaxy, carrying with it an incredibly powerful Anti-AT Field and intense gravimetric distortions. Thanks to Kirk, the Enterprise-B is able to barely escape— at the cost of his life.

It’s time for another Star Trek movie as we talk about Star Trek III: The Search for Spock in Casual Trek!
We’ve got a weird planet, Spock’s rapid-fire journey from baby to weird feral child to Leonard Nimoy. Also Christopher Lee’s glorious Klingon acting.
We also have another time one of the crew nicked the Enterprise with The Menagerie. We revisit the zoo for space perverts from The Cage and the unfortunate fate of Captain Pike.

in my head i somehow combine “dead fish” characters together, and then need to remind myself that, no, spock does not have any connections to rei ayanami.

i wonder if they didn't find spock's body in tsfs if the transfer of spock's katra from mccoy into a katra stone (if that even was a concept at that time) would be equally as dangerous for mccoy
because spock's katra would still have to be extracted from his mind

OK IVE SAID IT BEFORE ILL SAY IT AGAIN
so au where they adopted her during the 2nd 5 year mission and after it was over and kirk became a desk jocky he was depressed with nothing to do and so he just started highkey smothering her. like he becomes a helicopter mom.
and the entire time during the wrath of khan he has NO FUCKING BOUNDARIES!!!!! and spock has to constantly holds him back. like "ashayam she is an adult. please do not infantilize her."
he's the type that licks his thumb and starts wiping his adult childs cheek, and he probably fucking does just that while theyre eating in the genesis cave.
Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan is about James T. Kirk being a husband and a father, actually.
And I'm not talking about Carol and David Marcus.
