hiii ! 😘 💐 🥂 for hux? if that’s too many you can just pick one no worries !!! i love love love your work <33
send me a headcanon request 🥰
hello my dear! ☺️ no worries at all – that's definitely not too many! in fact I'm very excited to do them! ☺️💕 and thank you so so so much for your super sweet words! 🥰🥰 I genuinely am so touched that you enjoy my work that much! 🥹🥹🥰🥰 I hope you enjoy these headcanons as well! ☺️💖
putting them below the cut because they got long (whoops!), but under the "read more" are:
what would they look for in an s/o?
would they give their s/o gifts? if so, what kind?
what are dates with them like?
for Armitage Hux!
General Armitage Hux
😘 – what would they look for in an s/o?
I think Hux would look for two conflicting things in an s/o: ambition/drive and the ability to relax and not take things too seriously. on one hand, I think he does really need someone who can match his energy. his whole life is about working in dogged pursuit of his goals, and I think he would find it hard to relate to someone who didn't share that sense of drive, at least to some extent. I don't think they would have to be in the same field as him (in fact, it's probably better if they're not so that no competition emerges), but I do think that Hux would look for someone who takes their goals seriously and has a lot of passion for their work
on the other hand, I think he also needs someone to temper that impulse in him. everyone around him expects something of him, and his work is constantly under scrutiny. it would be nice for him to have someone who he didn't have to perform around, someone who would encourage him to take a breath and just be for a moment. so I guess what he really needs is someone with perspective; someone who can appreciate and empathize with his ambition, but also remind him that there's more to life than constant work
💐 – would they give their s/o gifts? if so, what kind?
again, I think Hux would be of two minds in this regard. on the one hand, he grew up in the imperial remnant where supplies were hard to come by, and I think that instilled in him a sense of austerity and distaste for clutter and wastefulness. in that sense, he certainly wouldn't be giving "useless" gifts, like things that would just sit and collect dust. even for sentimental things, I think it would be hard for him to overcome that idea that everything needs to have a functional purpose. he might make a couple of exceptions for really meaningful things though
on the other hand..... whooooo boy does this man have self-esteem issues! he finds it so hard to believe that anyone would be with him just to be with him. he projects this ultra-confident facade, but inside he is so insecure. one way for him to make up for that would be by giving his s/o things that he thinks might make it "worth it" for them to be with him. they're still mostly functional (often expensive) things, but he does put care and thought into selecting them. as the relationship progressed and his s/o was able to convince him that they weren't with him as some sort of transactional exchange, I could see him getting more comfortable giving more sentimental, meaningful gifts. even once he got past that insecurity, expressing his feelings verbally is still hard for him, so giving gifts is a nice way for him to show his affection without having to be too vulnerable
🥂 – what are dates with them like?
first, they are few and far between 😅 at least if we're talking in terms of "formal dates." Hux is a busy man and he just doesn't have a lot of time for things like dates, even if he would like to. however, "informal" dates, like having a quick meal together in the privacy of his quarters or just working together in a private space, are much more frequent. Hux definitely feels guilty about not having more time to spend with his s/o, so when he makes the time for a formal date, he goes all out
they usually happen planetside, since first order ships don't exactly scream "romance" lmao. Hux will book an expensive restaurant and reserve a speciality table (usually on a balcony or by a window looking out over the planet). afterwards, he'll have gotten tickets to some kind of fancy entertainment (whatever that particular planet specializes in, usually something adjacent to opera or theatre or ballet). then the night will end in a suite at the nicest hotel the planet has to offer, and both Hux and his s/o can enjoy a night away from the pressures of the first order
if his s/o is the kind of person who prefers "quirky" dates (like whatever the star wars equivalent of going to a farmer's market or playing mini golf is), he might be able to get on board with it, just because his s/o enjoys it. however, those kinds of more free-form, sometimes silly outings are much more foreign to him, and he's a lot more comfortable in more "formal" dates. however, no matter what he does with his s/o, he always tries to make it a time to show them how much he love and appreciates them 💖

Crimson and clover with Hux 👀
Tumblr media
Track 1: Crimson and Clover by Tommy James and the Shondells: Give me a character and I’ll write a short blurb or headcanons on how they would pine for you.
General Hux x GN! Reader
thank you for the request, delaney!
📼✨ mixtape milestone ✨📼 requests open through march 1st
You'd need a highly-trained eye, or maybe even a microscope, to figure out whatever the general is feeling.
Because he's always hiding—hiding behind sneers and harsh glances, behind procedures and rank and his billowing greatcoat.
He hides who he is, builds up the idea of himself to the greatest heights it can reach, because that's what men like him do.
Maybe that's why he can't stand to be around you.
Because you tear that facade down like it's made of tissue paper.
Hux is sure that everyone knows.
They have to see it—the way he trembles when he's in your presence, hear how all his words become jumbled. He's surprised there's been no serious technological malfunctions on the bridge from the heat he gives off every time you've caught him admiring the way your uniform fits your figure.
But the general should give himself more credit, because you don't know.
You have your theories, of course, but none of them touch the actual reason Hux treats you the way he does.
Which might actually give him some comfort, if he knew.
Unfortunately for Hux, he doesn't know. But Ren knows everything.
And he's absolutely delighted by the opportunity to torment Hux any way he can.
It's so easy, too. He keeps you nearby in any conflict—requesting your presence on the bridge, making sure you're scheduled for all the right meetings.
It's driving Hux to madness.
But it's not until he finds you on a security cam, leaving Ren's quarters late one evening that he decides to act.
It's jealousy, more than love, that leads him outside your quarters in the middle of the night. Just another one of his many failings.
But he hopes against all reason that you can look past that. That you'll see him—a mess, incomplete—and you'll choose him anyway.

Blinded By Feelings
Armitage Hux, Cal Kestis, Poe Dameron, Din Djarin, Anakin Skywalker
They have feelings for you their enemy
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Armitage Hux
He hated you even through he's never met you, he loathed your very being and it only increased when he met you, you were another general that to fought to be the best.
And when you two were together in a meeting or just in passing in the corridors you two would bicker like children over plans or random things that was annoying one of you that day.
He would only realize his feelings when a storm trooper would ask him but he would tell them to shut up and threaten them saying he would throw him into space if he ever spoke something so ridiculous again, but it would cloud his mind days after that.
He would feel disgusted by himself and avoid you by all cost but his efforts went to waste when you come back injured from a mission and he would make it his personal mission to take you to the med bay and scold you at the same time.
"You are stupid as the rebellion if you think you would not get scolded for your actions you could've gotten yourself killed next time at least tell me first so I can get you better storm troopers"
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Cal Kestis
You joined the crew way before he did and had a stronger bond with greez and cere he was kinda jealous it wasn't much of a hatred thing he just found you kinda annoying to be around and would avoid being with you.
Every time you tried talking to him he would ignore you or when you saved him countless times he would just give you a forced thank you but nothing more.
The thing that made him notice is that you would start showing up in his dreams more or when he meditates, he'd find it annoying at first but he'd start thinking about you more and more.
He'd start listening and paying more attention to you which not only freaked you out but the other crew members to, during one of the missions he'd actually listen to your ideas instead of shutting you up.
"You have some really good ideas I should've started listening to you sooner, I'm sorry about that by the way I guess I was just jealous of you"
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Poe Dameron
You were the rebellions best mechanic and the person that would work on his x-wing without his consent he'd hate it even though it needed to be done, he hates it more when you'd leave sticky notes telling him about the up grades you've done to his ship.
He would complain to Leia about you but she'd just laugh and tell him off because your just doing your job so then he'd come complain directly to you but you'd just ignore him continuing on his next up grade.
He'd have a few people tell him that he probably has a crush on you because of him talking about you so much but what really makes him realize is when he sees you talking to others guys and the jealousy he feels.
When returning from one of his missions his x-wing battered and needing repairs he'd actually come straight to you to ask you to repair it for him.
"I know I found it annoying but I've come to realize your up grades are kinda.... helpful after saving me a few times so what I'm trying to say is I'd like you to continue working on my ship"
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Din Djarin
Your were an assassin, killing off the high end people most bounty hunters were afraid to kill, you've also killed a few of his bountys making him pissed.
He's only ever layed eyes on you a few times in crowed bars or a desolate street he doesn't really care about knowing you because why would he get to know his enemy a thief.
He'd only start looking out for you more when you saved him from an ambush you shot his captures in the head and threw him a gun before disappearing again.
He'd be against the idea of ever actually falling for you because of his past experiences but after some more encounters with you he'd would stop you before you vanish again.
"You can reject this offer but I'm still putting it out there, I want you to join me us, it would be alot easier we work together then you stealing my bountys so what do you say"
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Anakin Skywalker
You are master windus padowan and the person he's always compared to why can't you be like yn why can't you take after her, it was something he heard almost everyday which makes him hate you.
He hates how kind you are even through his hateful words he spits your way or when you'd sometimes take the fall for one of his stupid plans he never even thanks you.
He like hux only got the realization when you got hurt, you'd taken a hit that was ment for him, the panic he felt as he watched you fall made him snap and kill whoever did it.
He'd spend day and night by your bedside in the medbay pacing back and forth as he tried thinking about his feelings, they'd only calm down when he sees you awake.
"Don't do that ever again do you hear me, you don't deserve to be here especially because of me I should be in this bed instead of you, do you know what you put me through I thought I lost you"

Hux speaks with imperial accent. But he had to learn It. His mother was simple Arkanis woman. She spoke to him in her native language. Not in Basic. Certainly not with imperial accent. Then he was taken form her and Brendol was disgusted that his son speaks like some low nerf herder and hardly knows Basic. So Armitage learned how to speak properly. It was hard. Especially that Brendol immediately sent him to academy where everyone was talking only in Basic.
Now Hux hardly remember his native language. He curses sometimes though and talks to himself in Arkaninian. And its drive Kylo crazy. Because not only Hux has most extraordinary hair he had every seen but now he also speaks in strange language and his voice in Arkaninian is so damn soft. So different from his usual clipped imperial tone. It makes Kylo hungry.

I’ve mentioned before that I hc Mitaka as Ace Aro so let’s do some silly little headcanons. Feel free to share your own!
Hux is gay that’s basically canon, it should be canon, enough said. He’s also closeted well for now anyway. Everyone still kinda knows though.
I go back and fourth with Kylo, sometimes he’s bi, sometimes he’s gay, sometimes he’s bi with a preference for men, maybe he doesn’t even really know. I don’t think he cares that much.
I’ve seen lots of different head canons for Phasma but I headcanon her as Lesbian. I don’t think she’d mind getting involved in the stuff Kylo and Hux do but she doesn’t feel any attraction towards it. She’s also perfectly happy being single.
As I said previously I head canon Mitaka as Ace Aro. He just has to deal with Kylo and Hux’s horny shit. He doesn’t care about it but he’s also like silently judging. Like “could you be any less obvious?” Kind of thing. (I have done AUs where he’s Aromantic homosexual)
Brendol and Pryde, homophobic as shit

General Armitage Hux Headcanons (pt. 2)
okay so to prove that I'm still alive and bc I just feel the need to write, have some of my more unhinged Hux thoughts!!
(headcanons under the cut bc they got long as always)
people have absolutely said this before but I guess I'll just reaffirm my agreement here: Hux for sure has an incredibly detailed hygiene routine that involves both skin and hair care
when he's on the bridge or in meetings, he keeps as still and stoic as possible, but if he's working on something alone in his own quarters, he bounces his leg or taps his stylus against the desk. typically it's just a single repetitive movement, and he's usually unaware he's even doing it (is this bc those are some of my stims and I project too much onto fictional characters?? who's to say, who's to say.......)
okay this one's kinda sad but Armitage genuinely has no real sense of self. his identity has been so wrapped up in the development of the first order that it has become his identity. that and the fact that rank determines so much in the first order have conditioned him to believe that his rank within the order is him, if that makes sense. that's part of the reason he wants the title grand marshal so much; because in his eyes, achieving that title is Hux reaching his fullest potential and - to him - becoming his truest self that he was always destined to be
following off this last one, Hux has no real idea of what he actually likes. when the crew is planetside, his lieutenants might spend their time off shift going to restaurants or bars or even attractions like museums or whatever the space equivalent of an amusement park is. Armitage's life is consumed with work, work, and then more work, so if he has even the slightest bit of free time, he's left in this weird limbo of not knowing what he wants to do, because he doesn't actually know what he likes to do. Br*ndol's abuse, the fact that he grew up a refugee, and just the nature of the first order in general essentially assured that the young Hux never got to develop any interests outside of those that would further the cause of the order. so while he does enjoy engineering and some of the work that he does (not all though - he suffers through the rest because he knows it will help the first order's cause) he genuinely has no idea what his interests are outside of that
again, building off the last one, this is part of the reason that he does work so much. he hates that weird, unsettled feeling of not knowing what to do with himself. and, as a man of efficiency with little time for the consideration of his own emotions, rather than interrogate that strange, hollow feeling further, he just dives back into something he knows: work. also, if he's working, the thoughts and weird feeling go away, so it's a win-win in his opinion
I guess this circles back to the first one a little bit, but when he's had a particularly hard day (or a run-in with Snoke or Kylo), Armitage will allow himself to take a long shower. typically, he just gives himself enough time to clean himself, and he often makes himself take cold showers because he believes it helps invigorate the body or whatever. but on those hard days, he'll turn the heat way up - like, all the way up - and just stand under the nearly-scalding current of water until his pale skin turns bright pink and the refresher is clouded with steam. also, he often cries. not that he acknowledges that though - tears? nah, that's just moisture on his face from the water (also I was thinking about writing an angsty little fic based on this headcanon if people would be interested in that)
okay, so that's all I've got for now, but I hope you enjoyed these (and that they didn't make you too sad). as always, I'd love to know your thoughts on these and any other headcanons or ramblings you'd like to share!

Looking through the Kylux tag is always so fascinating to me because there's two types of Kylux shippers.
1. People who create serious and usually quite emotional content. While it isn't all canon compliant, they take it seriously and create some fascinating art and fan fics. Sometimes it's the mutual healing of two fucked up individuals, which is almost poetic.
2. Ravenously horny people.
There is no in-between.

Hey
Supreme Leader Kylo Ren forcing Hux into taking a break and rest by giving him an order, taking away his datapad and putting someone else in command for few weeks bc Hux was literally on the brink of collaps and Kylo knows it's the only way he can make Hux rest.
And Hux thinking it's a punishment for something and getting seriously offended for the first week. After two he starts begging Kylo for his datapad asking what he did wrong, absolutely desperate, after four Kylo finds him sleeping in Supreme Leader's quarters.
Hux had a whole speech prepared, about how irresponsible Kylo is and how dare he act like that, but he fell asleep on Ren's bed when he was waiting for Kylo to come back from meeting.

Yes, yes Brendol Hux and whatever but when are we getting Grand Admiral Sloane and little Armitage? When do we get to see her build her Empire while shaping her young protégé, who ultimately loses his way upon her disappearance/demise?
It’s obvious by the end of Aftermath that Rae Sloane has begun to grow attached to Armitage. Despite their rocky beginning she did protect him from Brendol. So I would not be surprised if Sloane was responsible for his rise in the First Order. ( And I’ll explain why. But first, some context: ) What better way to create a revised version of the Empire than with a genius child who can develop technology that will pull a broken organization from that ashes? We know from the Phasma novel that Sloane is gone by 30 ABY. ( Cardinal mentions her and Armitage defensively retorts that she is not around). But Cardinal also mentions that Brendol was preparing for a meeting with Grand Admiral Sloane and the first set of First Order leaders on the day he gives Cardinal his new title as Captain. That signifies that Sloane was still around and in command of the First Order after it became a more established organization. So she did not die while they were still forming the First Order in the unknown regions. That also means that she was around while Armitage was at the Academy and rising through the ranks as an officer. Which clarifies a lot of his contradicting beliefs.
When I say contradicting beliefs I mean the disparity between Armitage’s  desire to rise and thus buy into Snoke’s ideals of what the First Order is ( after Snoke becomes Supreme leader and supersedes the apparent first group of leaders including Grand Admiral Sloane ) versus Sloane’s original beliefs of what she thought her new revised Empire should comprise of. This is honestly what makes Armitage Hux such an interesting character to me.
Snoke’s outlook obviously entails the destruction of worlds and ruling by force. The First Order is a tool for his dark agenda. It helps him keep his stronghold over the galaxy and gives him the firepower to secure his reign and further his own goals. Armitage Hux’s pride in the completion of Starkiller and his many other projects, along with his attempts to keep a strong grasp on the power he has attained, displays him buying into these beliefs. I think that part is rather evident and widely accepted. But then there is the other facet of Armitage. The part that still clings to ideals that are similar to Sloane’s beliefs of the version of the Empire she wanted to create.
You can see that here in Hux’s internal monologue, featured in The Last Jedi novelization, by Jason Fry
But Hux knew the future would need a different kind of leader—one able to direct the galaxy’s industries and nurture their innovations, while commanding its citizens’ respect. Snoke wasn’t that leader. And neither was Ren.
Versus Sloane’s inner monologue during Aftermath: Lift Debt by Chuck Wendig:
Slavery has never been part of the perfect Empire that lives inside her head. It may have been necessary for a time, but now the galaxy should be made to see the Empire’s glory—and you can’t teach them of its splendor through slavery. Slavery is not strength; it is weakness. Citizens should serve the Empire because it is right to do so. Why would any choose otherwise?
The idea that citizens should server the Empire/First Order because it’s the right thing to do is common between them both. For context, Sloane came from a gang infested world that the Empire helped clean up. So her outlook on Imperial occupation is positive & her idea of a perfect Empire was one that promoted order and peace with necessary force. She grew disillusioned with Palpatine’s version of the Empire which used uncessary force and had cult-like attributes. ( Disclaimer: This is not a commentary stating that Sloane’s ideas are right. Sloane is still very much a villain. Just with a moral code. Despite how convoluted her moral code is. The First Order is still clearly still a bad organization. )
Now consider the fact that Armitage Hux tried to talk Snoke out of firing Starkiller a second time because he was afraid of eliminating occupied planets that were not involved in the war...
Snoke replied with cold satisfaction. “We do not need it. Prepare the weapon. Destroy their system.” Collected and composed as he was, Hux was not immune to surprise. “The system? Supreme Leader, according to the most recent galographics, at least two and possibly three habitable worlds circle Ileenium. Following the destruction of the Hosnian worlds, would it not be worthwhile simply to destroy their base and claim the remainder for the Order?
-The Force Awakens novelization, by Jason Fry,
The attack on Hosnian Prime was a political power play. Armitage considers the action a necessary act of war but he was taken aback when Snoke ordered him to fire on potentially uninvolved system in lieu of just taking out the Resistance base. Like Sloane, his moral code is corrupted, but still present.
And then we have this scene of Hux refuting Ren from The Force Awakens novelization...
“Again, this map. Which for all I know may or may not even exist.”
Ren’s voice darkened to a degree that caused Phasma to take a step backward. “I do not think I care for your implication, General. You would be wise to keep such thoughts to yourself. You would be wise not to think them.”
Hux held his ground. “My duty is to fight for the First Order with every iota of information, every scrap of material, and every functioning trooper at my command. That was in the oath I took. That is the oath I have sworn to uphold.”
Yes, Hux is serving Snoke’s First Order at this point in the timeline but take a moment to consider how risky this declaration is. Kylo may have a personal interest in finding and destroying Luke but we are also aware that Snoke tasked Kylo with this mission. So Hux’s skepticism almost implies that his loyalty to the First Order is beyond his loyalty to Snoke.
Anyway, than you for enduring this long post. My ultimate point was that Hux is a really intriguing character because he is a culmination of Brendol’s cruelty and Sloane’s idealism. He is selfish and power hungry, but he also has a genuine interest in building and organization that promotes order through, centralized control, innovation and ( his version of ) respect. It’s fascinating to see his own moral and internal struggle play out. And I really hope we see more of this development play out in his youth through further storylines.
