As an Indian and a mostly girl person I can tell you with absolute faith that I would wear that ghagra choli(most ghagra cholis or lehengas are a bit more detailed tho but the dupatta/ghunghat is amazing) and that this is much much and I mean MUCH better than whatever they had Parvati and padma wear in the harry potter movies.

here me out… a genderbent jegulus + the happiest season fanfic. Like James IS Abby, the vet whose parents loved Christmas but they are dead now and he’s great with meeting parents. Also regulus, the younger favorite sibling who is always trying to be perfect and comes from a rich political family. Bonus- past bartulus with Barty being Riley (the childhood best friend turned lover from a different political family) but reg not being able to own up to it so they broke up. And a sun killer friendship that is iconic

I love genderbending queer couples because you get to figure out if the way they present has to do with inherit masculinity/femininity or with conforming/not conforming.

For example, when I genderbend Whizzvin, Whizzer Will is more masc/visibly queer because his presentation has to do with non conformity (not that he’s feminine originally, just visibly queer) and Marvin is more feminine because his presentation is strict conformity.

But if I genderbent Jegulus, I would keep James more masc because his masculinity is what’s important. (Reggie is also a conformist so he’d be femme)

i wrote a teeny tiny jegulus drabble thing that was canon compliant all about grief and memory through little vignettes

a summer wasting! that fic makes me :D first times and feelings yay!

nope. they're just not my sorta thing

have you ever received hate on a fic?

not that i'm aware of!

yes <3 i think it's just as important for character exploration as conversations are, people have sex just like they talk and write and play music and whatever else. that, and i think it's fun

no! always open to it though!

have you ever co-written a fic before?

also no, although there are beautiful things in the works with @menlove that will see the light of day at some point in the future

what's your all-time favourite ship?

ooooh okay. it's between enjoltaire, mclennon, or wolfstar. actually maybe also stucky. the orphaned works i have are stucky, steddie, and jegulus but those last two were very much passing phases.

what's a WIP that you want to finish but don't think you ever will?

genderbent riotgrrrl adjacent mclennon thing. maybe.....maybe....

what are your writing strengths?

i think i write realistic dialogue, i'm almost always having the conversations out loud that i'm writing lol

what are your writing weaknesses?

hmm i think i pace things a little funny sometimes or things are phrased slightly clunky. that and i'm forever making punctuation errors.

what are your thoughts on writing dialogue in other languages in a fic?

probably wouldn't do it if i didnt have someone who could check it for me but i'm not against it in the future! if it was for a reason

what was the first fandom you wrote for?

if we're not counting the anime fics i wrote on wattpad age 13 (and i'm not) then it was marvel/stucky!

what's a fandom/ship you haven't written for yet but want to?

i want to go back to les mis at some point and write that. also more beatles ships that i've just had vague ideas about, there lives a john/paul/maggie paris fic somewhere in my brain.

what's your favourite fic you've written?

a summer wasting once again, the longest fic i've written, even though she's comparatively little i'm such a oneshot person so was proud of that! i loved writing john and the response to it was so delightful also!
