After my visit to the museum, the landscape painting remind me of the themes in Yoko Ogawa's novel, "The Housekeeper and the Professor." In this captivating story, the mathematics professor struggles with short-term memory, lasting only 80 minutes. Instead of relying on verbal communication, he expresses himself through numerical formulas, which not only highlights the beauty of mathematics but also the unique bond he forms with his housekeeper. This connection between art and literature inspired me to reflect on how we communicate and understand each other beyond words.

The ideal city is based on a perfect formula, but it highlights the reality of inequality and the challenges in building stable relationships.

美術館を訪れた後、この風景画を見て、小川洋子の小説『博士の愛した数式(』のテーマを思い出した。この魅惑的な物語では、数学教授が80分しかもたない短期記憶に苦しんでいる。言葉によるコミュニケーションに頼らず、数式で自分を表現することで、数学の美しさだけでなく、家政婦とのユニークな絆も浮き彫りにしている。このような芸術と文学の結びつきに触発され、私たちは言葉を超えてどのようにコミュニケーションをとり、理解し合うのかに��いて考えてみた。 理想的な都市は完璧な数式に基づいているが、不条理・不平等の現実の中で、安定した人間関係を築く上での課題を浮き彫りにしている。
