Hello! Sorry for bothering, but I was just curious if you know which episode does Gex originates? Because when he was revealed on the most recent episode, it seemed like he was an alluded joke that I am unfamiliar with. I haven’t listened to all of the triplets’ one shots and I don’t have a Patron subscription, so I wasn’t sure he came from one of those. so during the original 8 bit book club days, the crew (minus jake, it was not his show) read a book about gex called “gex”. the episodes are still available wherever you get your podcasts and called “gex: the novel” (there are three parts).

gex is short for gecko extraordinaire and he’s a rad 90s lizard who simply loves tv. there were some video games with him as the main character. he had a human girlfriend. and his dad died in a nasa accident.

the episodes of 8bbc are some of my favorite ones, because you can feel them slowly lose the will to do anything as the story goes on and gets more and more insane. highly recommend.

F/O Headcanons: Luke Edition!

Despite all of his protests, his insistences that he isn’t a kid, he really just wants to be babied and doted on a lil’ bit

His favorite gemstones are aquamarine and topaz

He loves to cuddle, but he won’t say it, instead he’ll say stuff like ‘well, you look cold’ or ‘you seem shaken up’ as an excuse

He does like dogs, but he has a subconscious preference for big dogs. Partially due to the natural kid attraction to big, strong and fully entities and also because he (unknowingly) recognizes that most of the bigger doggos are lazy gentle giants which are not only very attractive personalities for kids but also great personalities to have around them in general.

He actually doesn’t mind the brothers presences as much as he gripes about them. He did at first, but now it’s more of just a tsundere lil’ brother thing where they reach that age where they pretend to be too cool to look up to their older siblings (despite the fact they still do).

Cats, specifically younger cats, are very cuddly with him. (Satan would never admit it but he finds it utterly heart melting)

He likes cooking games, like cooking mama, cooking simulator, the papa’s games, etc.

Has a bad habit of keeping frosting tubes in his nightstand to snack on, he throws them away at RAD so Simeon won’t find out. Solomon, however, is fully aware but doesn’t address it as Luke is good with restraint and he also feels that the little angel deserves to be able to be a lil’ bit naughty.

He’s a huge fan of plushies with star motifs.

Not much of a fan of greasy foods. Sure, he enjoys it occasionally, but he honestly just prefers fresher and healthier foods.

Here’s another post going over color references. Went through the main turtles and realized I actually did know most of them already and with a bit of research, figuring out most of the rest wasn’t too hard. All the turtles have essentially the same references, so hopefully I can make the other turtle posts quickly.

If you do have any additional info, I would appreciate it. Anyways, hope you enjoy.

# 1 - Default (1987 Show)

# 2 - 1988 Playmates Toys Action Figure - Wouldn’t have gotten this one by myself since I have none of the toys nor do I look into them much. The weapon color here though is a big indicator it’s this specific toy line (also I think it may have been the first toys which would be more reason to put it in the game).

# 3 - 90’s movie(s) - Most likely based on specifically the first one.

# 4 - 2003 Show

# 5 - 2012 Show

# 6 - Rise of the TMNT

# 7 - Archie Comics Intergalactic Wrestling? - This slot for Raph and Don ABSOLUTELY is this specific version of the Archie Comics designs where the turtles fought in some tournament. Mikey also seems quite likely to fit, although Leo’s does resemble his Next Mutation design a lot closer. Since the other 3 turtles almost definitely got their 7th color from here though and I can somewhat see how Leo got this design. I’m putting this design here.

# 8 - This one I’m quite clueless on. The obnoxious green indicates it’s probably from an older game, but it’s too colorful to be the Gameboy. He does have the “whited-out” eyes which implies it’s a game that doesn’t base the designs on the 87 show. Maybe it’s from a game where you could get a power up that makes you glow? It’s seemingly the same green for the other 3 turtles though so I doubt it’s be something like an 03 game. Most of my research has literally just been for this and I can’t find something that looks close enough.

Update - TMNT ULTIMATES Mutagen Ooze Figures - I’m still not 100% confident that this is correct, but out of all the things I’ve thought of that seem close (like the ZX Spectrum TMNT game or the GBC version of Back to the Sewers), this seems by far the closest.

# 9 - Mirage Comics - I do think that this color is likely for Mirage specifically, although it is worth noting that every turtle canonically wore red masks in that version, so maybe it is referencing a different version of the turtles. Most times I’ve seen the TMNT depicted in black and white though, it either is just outright the turtles from the original comic or it’s a reference to them, so I think it’s likely they just added a bit of color to be rad and for some visual clarity.

# 10 - NES - There’s multiple NES games this could’ve been, although all the turtles have the same shade of green which does narrow it down a bit. The first NES TMNT game (that one AVGN reviewed) seems to resemble it close enough which is the example. Something like the NES Tournament Fighters is closer in terms of posing, but that specifically probably isn’t the exact reference since the NES costumes in this game are all the same green colors, whereas that specific game had different turtle colors to help distinguish the turtles.

# 11 - Gameboy - Really any of the Gameboy games could work as the example, but I chose Fall of the Foot Clan.

Just a few weeks before my mom passed away my 23+ year old female leopard gecko (Eublepharis macularis) Diego died too. Ever since I have been trying to figure out what to do with the enclosure that she left behind, and here are some of the ideas that I have come up with:

- Turn it back into the aquarium that it originally was; it could make for a rad freshwater species aquarium of zebra danios and beautiful blue freshwater shrimp, or it could be a second saltwater tank. Right now the thought of entering into another expensive-to-equip aquarium adventure makes me mentally hyperventilate though, especially when I still have yet to finish stocking my Fluval Evo reef tank which I've dubbed Purrling Reef. Sure the thought of a seahorse tank or an angler fish is fun but do I really want to enter into another aquatic pet like that at this time? Probably not!

- Get a small (male) snake! This is the original thing that I wanted to do but my mom wasn't on board with snakes. My dad? He's fine with it. So far the most likely species for me is the Plains Hognose (Heterodon nasicus,) Rosy Boa (Lichinura trivergata,) or the Anthill/Pygmy Python (Antaresia perthensis.) I am really not interested in Kenyan Sand Boas (Gongylophis colubrinus,) and I like that hognoses and rosy boas are both from North America - in fact the plains hognose is native to a few Canadian provinces! (Thankfully not mine though which means that hognoses are completely legal where I live, yay!) Rosy boas are unfortunately hard to find here, and so are pygmy pythons (which are from Australia, and not from the Perth region as their name seems to suggest.) Hognoses are easy to find - but only if you want a fancy colour morph, which I don't. I love the regular wild type morph of hognose but so far I haven't seen any available in Canada. (The fancy morphs are considerably more expensive, like $200+ more at least.)

Considering my hiking hobby a snake who as an adult only needs feeding once every 1-2 weeks and a clean, topped up water dish is pretty ideal. Top entry enclosures like mine aren't ideal for snakes (reaching down to grab them is too much like a bird of prey swooping down on top of them,) but I just need to check myself over how I reach for the snake friend. All three species of consideration are relatively docile, with the hognose being likely the best. Considering Clint's Reptiles and Wickens Wicked Reptiles' enclosure size recommendations I feel confident that Diego's 20 gallon long enclosure would be just fine especially for a male hognose (which is twice the size of the 10 gallon that some recommend.)

A garter snake would fit too however a larger enclosure would be better, especially so that I could keep more than one as unlike most other snakes, garter snakes are social beings who appreciate having garter snake friends.

Why specifically a male snake? Male snakes are significantly smaller than females.

I'm not interested in a tricolour hognose (Xenodon pulcher) as they do not live long enough. (5-8 years at best is ow, especially for an animal that would cost $400+ here. Nope, hard pass.)

- Get another lizard, but not a leopard gecko (nothing against my beautiful late Diego but I simply don't want another leopard gecko.) So far my favourite option for this is the completely gorgeous Schneider's Skink (Eumaces schneider.) At first I really wasn't considering another lizard but watching Reptiliatus' videos of feeding his tokay geckos made me realize that I actually really miss feeding Diego and watching her hunt her crickets. Skinks tend to be personable and friendly; I'm still researching what other options might exist.

Bonus points for ease of care for my dad whenever I'm away. He's probably more comfortable dumping a bunch of crickets into a lizard's home than feeding dead rodents to a snake if I am gone for a long time as I would be should I succeed someday in returning to Scotland to finish the Scottish National Trail (and potentially hike the Hebridean Way.)

- Stow away the 20 gallon and get a bigger enclosure for a larger reptillian friend. I'm not going to lie, a Ball Pythons (Python regius,) would be awesome and their particularly slow metabolism would be ideal for my thruhiking hobby (some adults only eat once every three weeks.) I also really like Pueblan Milksnakes (Lambropeltis triangulum campbelli,) and Arizona Mountain Kingsnakes (Lambropeltis pyromelana)! In fact, a Pueblan Milksnake is probably my dream snake - I'd feel happy every single time that I looked at that thing.

Alternatively I could adopt a tokay gecko (Gekko gecko) because they are not only beautiful but hilarious but since they are vocal geckos I'd probably have to keep it in my room.

Downside to an animal requiring a whole bigger enclosure: I'm not... financially well at the moment. This will change eventually, but right now? Right now things are hard.

But building an enclosure from scratch woukd also be really fun!

Wait, aren't fish really high maintenance? No, not really, not when you have automated systems in place like I do already and plan to add. An automatic feeder will eventually give my fish a daily breakfast meal of mixed pellets (currently a blend of Vitalis, Piscene Energetics, Fauna Marin and Northfin carnivore/clownfish diets,) an Automatic Top Off system guards my salinity against evaporation, my lighting is programmed with a full day/night cycle and an Inkbird temperature controller regulates the temperature of my water. My USB air pump will keep running and oxygenating my water for up to 36 hours in the event of a power outtage. All the coral species which I plan to keep are photosynthetic so they don't need to be fed actual food for their survival while I am away. My fish won't get any tasty frozen food when I am gone but they will have the pellets to munch on as well as the tiny live copepods which also call my reef home. For maintaining water chemistry I have extensive rockwork and porous media for biological filtration and I will soon be introducing macroalgae to one of my filter compartments. (Plants are the original filters and will - along with my future corals - lap up my nitrates and phosphates like greedy puppies.) Additionally, I have other plans for autominously maintaining other properties of my water and I will be purchasing a chiller before next summer (because fans suck at cooling aquarium water.)

If I do adopt another reptile I will be giving it UVB as well as a bioactive setup just like Diego had. Due to Keplar's very strong prey drive and my tendancy to deeply bond with my pets rodents are not on option for me as pets. I will be fortifying the terrarium similar to how I have fortified my reef tank against Keplar being a pest to my other animals.

I also have vague plans to build or buy some taller, better stands so that he can't go nose-to-nose with my non-feline pets anymore.

(Keplar is so cute but he is such a pest to non-feline organisms.)

Okay so im redesigning loz race decigns/charecters to make then look more neat, and i got to the gorons and...

okay fr, i took inpersation from they're goron designs since they looks cute and cool to me (follow them btw they make super neat looking art and i think they're designs for the botw charecters look so cool-)

But yeah i tweeked the designs a bit so now i shall show them off

First off with the horns they're made of luminous stone since i thought it looked rad and also cause i thought 'they mine a lot so they might have to mine at night... and its dark at night sooooo'

Heres what it looks like in light (also i gave the gorons fangs since daruks champion design sorta looks like he has fangs in the art)

And heres the horns at night, as you can see if the horns get damaged in someway they can glow less.

On to the tails

Now tails are sort of complicated, ezlos designs for the tails sorta look more crocodile/komodo dragon like, mine are ment to look more like spotted geckos, so that means that the tails fall off, and theres a sort of leveling system to the tails growing back.

The first tail is the soft/flesh tail, they never last too long since usally babys and younger gorons only have them for up to a year (at most) they're pretty sensitive and never over stay theyre welcome (well unless your yunobo-) (also i couldn't attack a photo but just think of a squishy lizard tail on a goron booty)

Next is amber (i tried drawing the amber, but failed and then just went the lazy route... dont judge me-) amber is a bit more tough then the squishy tail but till kind of senitive. also while the tail is regenerating, things can get stuck in the tail like rocks, bugs.... lizards-

Next is opal, a big more durable and strong. Usally when gorons keep this tail (as in not doing too much with the tail and not risk it falling off) its for asthetic reasons as opal tails are pretty popular for gorons since they look pretty and also its rare to have one for super long, like if your 30 and you still have a opal tail thats a bit of a big deal.

Topaz is next, heres where we start getting into the elemental tails. This one of the least popular out of the three since its yellow color and electric powers aren't super useful (as you can't quite camouflage a bright yellow tail like you can with ruby, nor is it super effective against fire enimes like sapphire)

Its seen as the sort of awkard stage of the tails.

Now we have ruby, like i said cause of its firey crimson color its great for camouflage and also its the second most liked tail when it comes to appearances.

Up next is sapphire, usally gorons with sapphire tails are given jobs to either get rid of fire enimies (red chuchus, red lizalfos) and also sent off to gerudo city to sell other jems since gorons with sapphire tails can take the dessert heat the best.

And now we finally have diamond, the strongest and most durable tail out of all of them, it can pack a mean punch... er swing or something... YOU GET THWAKED WITH ONE OF THESE BAD BOYS ITS GONNA HURT REAL BAD. Its pretty difficult to get a diamond tail to fall off as you'd have to be using it A LOT.

But alas it is still possible for diamond tails to fall off, nub/no tails are exactly what they sound like. And once a diamon tail is gone gorons can't regenerate another tail. Some gorons think that theres another tail after the diamon tail but since most gorons that lose they're diamond tail are like 60+ years old nobodys ever seen it, whether or not thats true ill leave up to you.

On the next episode of ann info dumps about gorons tm, we get to see yunobo daruk and bludos redesign and some back story for yunobo!

Leatherhead? Man, that dude’s tough as nails. We’ve teamed up a couple of times to take down some serious threats. And Slash? Oh, that’s a whole different ballgame. We’ve had our battles, but sometimes you gotta throw down to find common ground, ya know?

hey, out of curiosity what are your opinions on spider ball pythons?

hm. I don’t think I have a very strong opinion; mostly because I don’t personally have a spider morph and ball pythons aren’t the only animal I keep but I DO have a friend who adopted a spider morph from a local reptile shelter and shes been a great pet. I’m not a big fan of breeding animals that have a known genetic anomaly like spiders just for an aesthetic look. 

I personally would not breed spiders and I think breeding snakes with a bad neurological issue is pretty awful. The only morph I would be personally interested in breeding are BELs which would be easy enough: Gyll is a pastel butter and Taylor is a mojave/lesser BEL. 

But right now I’m more focused on breeding geckos, specifically geckos that don’t have a big captive breeding program in the US. Right now I have a breeding group of Golden Geckos (gekko badenii) which is what I’m most excited about! They’re critically endangered in the wild and have no known captive breeding program and if I can breed them and provide captive baby goldens I would just be over the moon! These geckos are just amazing animals and providing pet goldens that aren’t imports hurting the wild population is important imo. I also have plans to breed tokays (gekko gecko) and giant halmaheras (gehyra marginata) and maybe leachies (that’s really more up to them tbh) 

Anyway... the only way I would ever be comfortable getting a spider would be from a reptile rescue, purchasing one goes against my personal morals and I would never ever breed them. 

But that’s my opinion and there’s a LOT of those out there!

Lizard People and Antisemitism: Avoiding Dogwhistles

Great questions, y’all! I love lizards so I’ve been saving this one for when I had enough energy to have fun with it.

Short answer: no, lizard anthros are not offensive on their own. I, personally, adore them.

Why are lizard comparisons antisemitic?

In order to write a lizard anthro who won’t be read as a weird antisemitic thing, there are some steps you can take to distance the character from antisemitic tropes. But before I get into that, I want to make sure everyone understands why the lizard thing is bad. I love lizards. Like, a lot. Going back to being 5 years old. But when people make those comments it's not about "cute lizards" it's like... this way of saying we look so weird (or are so weird) that we don't even look mammalian. To compare a marginalized group you aren’t in to an animal (and we are far from being the only group to experience this) is often two different kinds of annoying at once: 1. It’s a generalization, and one that reduces us to some assumed common trait that we all have, and 2. Usually it’s a reference to something humans—all humans—find off-putting about this type of animal.

Distancing your character from antisemitic tropes

Anyway moving on to ways to distance your dapper adorable Geico lizard from us:

1. I’d avoid having them being bankers, debt collectors, or anything else associated with money (I’m okay with that iguanamouth cartoon of the lizard hoarding coins you lost in the couch, because it’s ridiculously cute. This is all mental algebra, with pluses and minuses, and things being lovable, cute, and safe can make it okay because the core of the lizard trope is the antithesis of lovable and the antithesis of safe.)

2. “Invading.” Because that’s the rest of the antisemitic lizard trope, that we’re infiltrators. I think some of this might come from the fact that some of us look really white, but have customs that the local Christians super didn’t associate with whiteness so it seemed sneaky to them. Like we were something foreign and other-y but in a white-person costume. But that’s just a guess. (I am thinking of the “your skin is hanging off your bones, Edgar” thing at the beginning of Men in Black or the Slitheen in “Aliens of London” in Doctor Who, but specifically with lizards. Please note I am not a Whovian so I don’t really know anything else about them, I just randomly saw the Eccleston season with a friend a looong time ago. If you avoid having your lizard anthros evoke this trope that is a very good way to save them.)

3. Master manipulators, government conspiracy etc. I suppose this is related to point #2.

4. There are certain stereotypical professions that I would be shy about unless you have a definitive way of showing you’re not talking about Jewish people (such as, having Jewish humans in the story/universe, or making the lizards pagan or Christian or something) -- tailors (this is more historical than current), doctors, lawyers especially sleazy ones. This one is more murky because you can probably get away with a lizard anthro orthopedic surgeon or whatever if she’s super lovable. Consider #4 more of a yellow light than a red light.

Speaking of being lovable making it okay, this post I wrote about my own approach to writing a literal Jewish lizard-shifter character from the inside might be helpful, with the caveat that I would absolutely not write a characters as trope-reclaiming as Isaac from the outside of any group. I am fully aware what a thin line I am walking here.

Look, I love lizards, and I love being Jewish, so I wish I could enjoy things like the “shalomander” meme unconditionally, or put Isaac in an umbrella as a kippah when he’s in his dragon form in an art commission without being nervous. But unfortunately there are teeth and history hidden in some of these things so it’s a good idea to tread lightly.

I think you will be fine because there is plenty of room for anthro lizard people without the kind that sets off the trope.

Camping - this is the french one! The ending always makes me emotional

Sleepytime - limited dialogue. Has silly moments but is critically acclaimed. It like won out a breaking bad episode for best TV episode or something

Double Babysitter - I just like meeting new characters !! Uncle rad and frisky are so so cute

Dad baby - this one has the fun adult dynamics but is framed around one of the girls games :-)

Alright! So! So far I have 37 Fallout OCs!!

There's my Sole Survivor, Nathan Ian Howard! He grew up in Boston, Massachusetts with his Older Brother, Elijah Liam Howard! They both went to school with Hana Keigetsu Yoshida(she migrated from Japan to the USA with her family when she was 10, and knew the Howard brothers ever since they met in elementary school)! Nathan went into Vault 111 with Nora(I need to make Nora's background and stuff), and I think I may have Hana go in with him as well? I'm not sure 100% of what Hana's background is yet, but ye! Elijah ends up in West Virginia, and went into Vault 76 with my other Fallout 76 OC, Ersa! Both Nathan and Elijah were in the military(Nathan was Army and Elijah was Marines). Elijah did some stuff with Vault-Tec and the Enclave, and ended up a Cyborg and was also cryogenically frozen as well at some doing, also got stuck in one of those green tube thing as well? Elijah is Bisexual and Polyamourous, so is Nathan and Hana. Ersa is Demisexual. They're all cis.

There's also my Courier 6 OC, Torin Arlen Hugh! He's a Trans Man and Bisexual and Polyamorous He waa born in New Reno. He sided with Mr. House, and lived in luxury until he ended up retiring as a courier. He ended up leaving New Vegas and went to Massachusetts! He lives in Goodneighbor now in that Neon Flats Creation Club house! He has a pet Fire Gecko named Sunset Sasaparilla, that goes by Sassy for short lol.

Then there's my Lone Wanderer, Aspen Harper Chau! She is a Trans Woman and also Bisexual and Polyamorous. She has heterochromia(hee right eye is blue and her left eye is brown)! I don't have much of a background for her yet, except for she's biracial (half white/half vietnamese), and that James ended up talking Aspen's moms last name.

Then there's my Self Insert OC(who is also a Multifandom OC, so I have her in other fandoms well), Eugenia Alexandra Everston(I have different last names for her depending on the fandom I'm using her in)! She goes by Alex! She grew up in the Brotherhood of Steel, but left with Madison Li when Alex was 9, and grew up in The Institute since then! She also meets Nathan and Elijah at some point as well! Elder Arthur Maxson and X6-88 are her step-siblings and Madison Li and Conrad Kellogg are her step-parents.

There's Angus Peyton Everston and Carmen Renee Ruth Everston! They're Alex's bio parents, and they ended up dying when Alex was 5, to a super mutant behemoth. They married, and are in a open marriage! They're both Bisexual and Polyamorous. Angus had Leif Axel Gunnar and Aito Jun Tsukiya! Carmen had Sarah Lyons and Jin Kyoko Tsukiya! Aito and Jin are twins! Jin is a trans woman and bisexual and polyamorous. Aito is a cis man and bisexual and polyamorous. They're both Chinese-Korean Americans. Angus has Scottish heritage and Carmen has irish heritage. Leif is Norwegian-American. Angus had a family cat named Frankie(she is a Sphyx cat lol), and also had two Rad-Ferrets named Ghost and Biscuit, that Leif and Alex take care of now.

There's Felix Sebastian Everston, who is Alex's older bio brother! They didn't know they each other until much later in the Fallout 4 events tho! 😅😅 He is a raider now in Nuka-World.

Courtney Nicole Stevens was Carmen's best friend and Godmother to Alex and Felix! She's Deaf Ana has cochlear implants. She is a hairdresser/tattoo artist/makeup artist.

Then there's Krzysztof Adok Łapiński, goes by Krzys for short. He's a Polish-American. He is a trans man and bisexual and polyamourous. He has two bionic prosthetic arms! He's also a mechanic in Nuka-World.

This was revenge. The slaver had told him so. Revenge for five of his men, for freeing the few slaves in the small camp. Standing Bear had caused him an embarrassment. The man was a White Leg. He had been a part of the war party that had murdered Standing Bear’s tribe. This was more than revenge.

He and his men had left Standing Bear out in the middle of the Mojave, far from any settlements and free from NCR lines. He was probably closer to Legion territory than anywhere else. And they had simply left him. Well, they’d beaten him bloody first, then stripped him of his shirt and his belongings, tied him to the ground crucifixion style. But it was what they used that would be most painful, if the wildlife didn’t get to him first. Wet leather straps were used to tie his arms to either side of him, just an inch or so over his head, his feet bound together and straight down. When the leather dried it would pull and slowly suffocate him if the heat didn’t kill him first. Or rad-scorpions. Or geckos. Or the Legion. Or Raiders. The White Leg didn’t care. And he and his men were long gone, leaving Standing Bear to bleed and bake alone.

Amanda didnt have alot of finesse that the mojave tended to need. Alot of the things she didnt think about in the capitol wastes was things she had to worry about. She could go afew moments without being inundated with rabid creatures. but the mojave? not so much.

Thankfully the might was merciful. She was thinking about how peaceful it was before nearly tripping on a body. Stepping back, it took a beat for her to recognize exactly what was going on. Letting out a small ‘oh shit’ she moved to cut off the ties.

“Holy shit, who did this to you? how long have you been out here?” She tended to dote. “Do you need a stimpak? that was a stupid question, of course you do…”

He was delirious. He had to be. Bear had all but accepted his awful fate after hours of being in the sun, his mouth dry, lips cracking. He could smell his own sweat, his own blood, his own skin burning in the sun. And there was this woman, a girl? A voice speaking to him...

“Water,” He managed to get out... and realized his arms weren’t straining anymore. But he couldn’t move them. He could barely feel them. He tried pulling them to his side, but they barely moved an inch. He wasn’t going to answer anything else until she gave him that promised stim pak. He couldn’t think straight. He couldn’t even moved his limbs at the moment, let alone sit up and have a conversation.

My favorite rp types

My fandoms tend to go through cycles. I’ll get super attached to certain characters, learn to play them, write drabbles for them, and then suddenly either gain a new fandom or revive an old one (like VTMB). But the thing is, the old ones never really go away, so I end up with this multiverse-spanning cast that goes back into my teens. Two decades of wonderful nonsense.

Naturally, crossovers, from cracky to well-discussed and serious, are one of my favorite rps, simply because they offer so many possibilities.  Take a character from, say, World of Darkness and stick them in the Fallout universe. If they’re a vampire, what will rads do to them? Will they be particularly vulnerable to lasers and plasma casters? How will feral ghouls and other creatures react to them? It’s all story fodder.

Alternatively, take, say, Benny Gecko and stick him in VTMB’s LA. How much trouble would he get himself into in one night? Would Isaac mistake him for a ghouled Bugsy Siegel? Would he and Mercurio get along or end up in the mother of all wiseguy fistfights? Would Malkavians instantly understand everything he says? Who might ghoul or (yikes) Embrace him? 

So yeah, I love doing stuff like that as well as doing single-universe play.  Even just talking about it can be fun.

Ok I can't keep it in anymore, I wanted to wait until I got paid and moved them into their permanent enclosures, but, I love them both so much already, I gotta show you my new babies and gush about how cute they are

They were both at an amazing price and I had already gathered the equipment and materials to properly care for both species, so the stars aligned and I have two new members of my family ❤❤❤ I have to be super careful with handling both of them since they both can drop their tails (and Pleakley's won't grow back!) but they're totally rad animals and it's so cool just to look at them and tell them how sweet and adorable they are 🥰

for the excited, a new borderlands game came out its borderlands plus DnD & its pretty!!! and & the enemys are varried, you get likes 5 or 6 variations on mushroom enemys and theres varried crab enemys & its verry pretty!!! also I got to go to a reptile expo saturday and i held a gargoil geko for the first time & now i know how ppl into cats/doga feal when they say they fell in love with somthing bc having a tiny dragon yeet itself from my hand to my chest was just!!!!!! i am INLOVE (i didnt get one bit it was COOL) i am also excited for ppl to update the games wikie bc i want to make some of tge monsters in crocher bc MUSHROOMS with TEETH and yesss oh and SPRING is happening so i can open my doors and its NICE inhope you feal better soon

I’ll have to go check out the art for the new Borderlands game, especially those crab and mushroom enemies. I haven’t played any of the games, but I do like the shell-shaded style they’ve got. And crocheted mushroom creatures with pointy teeth sound rad as fuck!

And I’m glad you got to go to a reptile expo! Gargoyle geckos are fantastic (the entire Rhactodactylus genus is just wonderful tbh). So velvety soft!

Can’t say that it’s feeling much like spring where I am yet (it’s still sitting around -10C at the moment), but I am feeling much better thank you!
