Salt winds between Waylon's feet like a snow-covered mountain range. Stride steady, his heart pounds against his rib cage. Over and over. Footstep, crash, footstep, crash. The sound is inside his head. Deep, quaking, and painful. Veins bulge at his temples: thin, wiry things that pulse in tandem with his heart's thunder.

It'll work out. This job didn't, but I have plenty of time to work through something else. Plenty.

Following the trail of salt, he whips around a corner. Light pierces through the darkness ahead. Two doors sit ajar in-line, one leading to the other: the tank maintenance area from earlier and the Hall of Discovery beyond it.

Striding past tables laden with spare tanks, air pumps, and whatever else, Waylon yanks at his hair band. Strips of black unfurl from the bun atop his head and fall to his shoulders. Heavy — damp with sweat. I'll get to the truck, get home, then I'll figure out what's next. She'll manage until then.

She has to.

Hear me out.

Imagine a typical book with a female lead and two love interests, the childhood best friend and the tall dark and handsome guy. And she can typically not choose between them etc.

But.

It turns out the boys been in love with each other for years in a relationship happily, and didn't want to say they knew each other bc, she was under a lot of stress or something.

They didn't even try to hide it she was just oblivious af.

HEY EVERYONE! The game that I worked on as Lead Artist/Art Director (And even wrote some of!) finally has a release date revealed - and it's my birthday, the 21st of February 2024! It'll be coming out for Steam, Switch, Xbox and PS4/5!

It's a biopunk character action/brawler with the mechanical depth of a fighting game where you murder millions of merciless militarized cops as a rogue swordsman seeking his missing boyfriend, merged with a living suit of armour who shares his ultimate goal of beheading the godlike "Sovereign Khan"ruler of a city built on suffering.

We filled it with living bioweapons, dubious cyborg priests, nightmarish monsters and it's ALL fully voice acted and lavished with the love of our whole team at PoppyWorks and our publisher Ziggurat.

I highly recommend the series by Victoria Lee to any readers aching for normalized representation of queer characters.

This is the MOST SAPPHIC book ever

It suffers from having to be about (for?) high school children instead of college students.

I think it's a *little* hackey to have your characters literally write about the themes you want in your book
