an ode to two fandoms i'm taking a break from

The Nice Oar is on the bottom of the page, looking up with longing in his eyes, and his triangular brows are moved to reflect that. we can see a black glove holding him, reminding us that he is a puppet. at the top of the page, te Sword Oar is upside-down, staring down atthe Nice Oar. though his eyebrows are angry, he still is clearly longing for his partner. The stick of the sword oar has been cut off and whittled into a sharp sword, and blood drips downward from it. the sword oar is being held by another black glove. the background of the picture is a wood ombre, starting at a very dark brown at the top, in the sword oar's section of the page, and gradually changing into a warm golden brown on the nice oar's side. the nice oar is aso surrounded by three small white flowers and a tiny ship, as well as the words "we're meant to be..." next to the sword oar, it says "oar are we?" these are lines from the gay oar song in season two of puppet history. The set-up of the page is meant to parody the season 2 poster for Our Flag Means Death, in which ed is in the sword oar's place and stede is in the nice oar's. this is made clear by the fancy, eighteenth century style gold text in the middle of the page reading "Oar Flag Means Death." Lastly, this drawing is pinned to my wall, which is green, because I forgot to take the picture before pinning it up and then didn't feel like taking it down when I remembered. end id.

I made another puppet history playlist heheheheh but this one is actually kinda nice to listen to and includes songs where the title doesnt quite make sense, but the vibes and lyrics [usually] do! also i added some music i just like limbo, dodie, 100 gecs, car seat headrest, abba, and 2000s BANGERS

I've listened to it all the way thru a few times, and you definitely shouldn't put it on shuffle, lmao. im also taking recommendations! just message or send me an ask for a song and what ep/moment it fits with, and ill see if it passes the vibe check >:)
