I love extracting information from totally irrelevant details in my toku shows. did you know Gai’s apparent favorite brand of whisky is Macallan (this comes up twice, once when he asks the bartender for it himself and again when Ryu orders it to give to Gai). did you also know the brand of whiskey Gai and Ryu share in that one scene is Wild Turkey

Macallan, being a Scotch whisky, has a smokey, peaty flavor while Wild Turkey has a sweet, sometimes vanilla or honey-like flavor. knowing that, you think Gai intentionally picked out a sweeter, smoother whiskey to accommodate “literally orders milk from a bar” Ryu’s palate? I like to think so

(Did you notice I spelt it as “whisky” and “whiskey” bc Macallan is a Scottish brand and Wild Turkey is an American brand. Americans spell whiskey with an e while literally every other country doesn’t. we’re sillay like that ig)

At the beginning of June, this little fellow came to our house. What adventures he had gone through we can only guess. He was tired, hungry and above all he was looking for closeness. A safe place. Jump onto the finger and then he was home. He has now been with us for two months, but already on the first day he stole our heart. We gave him the name Rutger (because it was the namesday the second day since he arrived).

I havnt found anyone that seems to look for him. And now I hope he can stay. ❤️🐦 In one month we will know. ❤️
